I'm literally going to be in my 20's when the show is coming out and I'll still be watching it because the PJO world is the best! Omg I thought that her name was that too! Yeah it would be amazing to just be an extra in the show.
KiaraLavs: Yeah I'm sad it's the end too but all good things must come to an end right? The fact that so many of you guys have reread this story even before it's completely finished is amazing! You guys make me feel like such a good writer so thank you so much! Enjoy this update.

Annabeth sighed, slowly blinking her eyes open and squinting from the bright light coming through the crack in the curtains. She yawned and rested her cheek comfortably against the pillow. When her eyes finally adjusted to the light, she managed to open them completely. The first thing she saw was a pair of green irises staring back at her.
Flashbacks to the night before resurfaced in her head as she saw his expression study her. She nearly melted from the look he was giving her, his fingers carefully tucking a piece of blonde hair behind her ear.
"Good morning" He said lowly, refusing to look anywhere else but at her.
"Hmm…morning" She mumbled under her breath, still half asleep.
He laughed and scooted closer to her, placing a small peck to her forehead. "You're really freaking adorable in the morning you know that?"
Annabeth smiled, grabbing his arm to prevent him from moving away. She rested her head against his bare chest, and he wrapped an arm around her swiftly.
"Last night was perfect" She whispered, not caring that she sounded like some love-struck girl in a romance movie as she snuggled deeper into his torso and wrapped the comforter tighter around them. She could practically feel the smirk on his lips even though she couldn't see his face as she traced her fingers over his skin.
"I agree Princess." He muttered after another moment went by.
"Why do you call me that?" She asked curiously once they had been in the position a while. She lifted her head off his chest so she could turn to look at him.
"You're going to laugh at me." He replied, meeting her gaze.
Annabeth raised her eyebrows in question, urging him to elaborate. He sighed, shifting so that he could face her better.
"I was eleven." He started
"I saw you skating on the rink with Christina once when my mom dropped me off for youth practice. You were learning some new jump I guess I don't know. Anyways, you were getting ready to leave so we could have the rink but before you did you took your hair out of its bun. It was one of the first times I saw it down instead of in some updo. I thought you looked like a princess from one of those old Disney movies and…I don't know I guess it just stuck." He explained, twirling a singular blonde curl between his fingers.
Annabeth couldn't help but laugh once he had finished telling the story. Percy glared mockingly. "I knew it." He said, referring to the fact that she found in funny.
"I-I'm sorry but just…really, my hair? That's so cute. All this time I thought it was because when we hated each other you thought I was some spoiled ice princess if I remember correctly."
Percy shook his head. "Nope. That's what I was trying to get you to think but clearly the real reason is something I should keep to myself from now on." He said sarcastically as she continued to laugh.
They let the silence hang in the air for a bit. Enjoying the serenity and peacefulness of the morning. She stared at a specific spot on the ceiling as she laid against his chest, getting lost in her thoughts.
"Percy…what's going to happen when we go off to college?" She finally asked, voicing something that was constantly in the back of her mind. She heard his breathing hitch for a second.
"I don't know." He muttered honestly, rubbing her arm and forcing her to look him in the eye again.
"But if there's one thing I do know it's that I don't want to be with anyone else. I know we're young. Most people would probably roll their eyes at what I'm saying but…you're it for me Princess."
"Percy-" Annabeth started. She knew he loved her, that much was true. But how was she supposed know that wouldn't change once they went off to college? A whole new environment. New people. A new life.
"Just let me finish. Please?" He begged. Annabeth sighed, nodding for him to continue.
He grabbed one of her hands and interlaced their fingers. "Wherever we end up. Whether that be one mile apart or a thousand. Nothing is going to change that way I feel. You need to know that. I'm not saying it won't be hard if we end up across the country from each other, but we can make it work. I know we can." He finished.
Annabeth was rendered speechless. She reached her hand up, tracing her fingertips along the side of his face as he looked at her. She had no idea what she'd done to deserve him. The past two days had been emotional but perfect all at once.
"We are pretty good together aren't we?"
He smiled. "The best."
She leaned forward to kiss him on the cheek, keeping their faces close. He tried to capture her lips with his, but she stopped him before he could.
"I haven't brushed my teeth yet Jackson."
"I don't care Chase." He replied, closing the distance between them for a short peck on the lips before she could say anything else. She smiled after he pulled away.
"Come on. Time to get up."
Percy groaned, pushing his face into her hair when she tried to get up.
Needless to say, Annabeth spent the next ten minutes trying to get a very stubborn Percy out of bed. She never knew teenage boys could be so whiny in the mornings.
Annabeth huffed, nearly bumping into another student as she shuffled around in her bookbag for an English paper she was sure she had placed in her backpack. She apologized when she hit another person's shoulder before sighing in relief when she laid eyes on the small three-page paper stapled together in one of her folders. Her shoulders relaxed. Considering the assignment was due that day and English was one of her morning classes, forgetting the paper would have been very bad. She zipped up her backpack and readjusted it on her shoulders, making a bee line for her locker where she saw a group of familiar people standing like always.
That particular Monday morning she had chosen to dress comfortably. She wore a pair of black leggings, her white converse, and one of her boyfriend's many hoodies that she'd…borrowed. So maybe she'd been dressing similarly the whole weekend. Maybe she couldn't resist the oversized warm hoodies that smelled like the ocean and brought a smile to her face. The past few days she had pretty much been a lovesick idiot who couldn't get the image of sea green eyes out of her head. Sue her.
Like usual, Percy, Leo, and Jason hadn't made an appearance yet, but Annabeth was met with the faces of Piper, Calypso, Nico, and Will once she reached the group. Of course, Thalia wouldn't be showing up anytime soon. The girl was most likely still in bed.
"And where the hell were you this weekend missy?" Calypso asked sarcastically once she joined them.
"Yeah I didn't exactly get an explanation as to why I had to cover for you Saturday night." Piper added, rising an eyebrow in question towards her.
Annabeth smiled shyly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as she looked at the ground.
"Oh. My. Gods." She heard Will mutter dramatically.
"What?" Nico asked confusedly, furrowing his eyebrows and looking over to his boyfriend from his spot under his arm.
Annabeth felt Will Solace's eyes practically burning a hole into her head. Hesitantly, she looked up to meet his eyes. The expression on his face made her realize what a mistake that had been.
"You had sex!" Will voiced not too loudly but definitely not quietly either.
If Annabeth's cheeks hadn't been red before they definitely were now. How did he always seem to know everything? It was freaky.
A few heads turned in the group's general direction and Annabeth wanted to die right on the spot. She was speechless. "I…What-" She stuttered
Her cheeks only got redder as she choked on her words. That was all Piper needed to realize the blonde boy was right. She gave Annabeth a knowing look and the curly haired girl groaned internally. She knew Piper was implying that she wanted the details later.
Calypso gasped. "So you finally admitted that you loved him didn't you?" She asked, referring to the conversation they'd had in the diner several days before. Annabeth had said her first time was going to be with someone she was in love with.
Not trusting her words, Annabeth nodded shyly. All she wanted to do in that moment was hide herself completely in the oversized hoodie she was wearing but she knew her friends weren't going to have any of that.
"My best friend and my cousin huh?" Nico spoke up, slightly grimacing. "Don't get me wrong it's still weirds me out but…I'm happy for you."
Before anything else could be said a familiar voice approached the group. "Before you say anything yes, I know I'm actually on time for once. Don't ask me how, don't ask me why...it just happened." A slightly cranky Thalia stated once she stood in front of them with an iced coffee in her hand.
Annabeth held her hands up in surrender. "I wasn't going to say anything."
Thalia stared at her disbelievingly. "Mmmhmm sure you weren't. So…what stimulating conversation did I miss this morning?" She asked sarcastically whilst turning towards the others and taking a giant sip of coffee.
Will was the first to answer. Annabeth had no time to cut in and change the topic. "Not much. Unless you count the fact that Annabeth and Percy slept together of course." He replied innocently.
Thalia's eyes widened and she immediately spit out her drink in surprise. The mist sprayed straight towards Nico who looked like he was having a hard time believing she'd just done that. He wiped some of the liquid off his face and stared at her. Piper and Calypso stood nearby trying their best to muffle their laughter.
"What?!" Thalia muttered in between fits of coughing.
It was official. Annabeth was going to murder Will Solace.
"Alright I give up. What's up with you?" Jason asked, pausing briefly from polishing the silver tire rims.
"What?" Percy replied confusedly, momentarily coming out of his daze.
Leo rolled his eyes. "Don't think Jase and I can't tell you've been acting weird all morning."
"What do you mean?"
Leo and Jason shared a look before the latter spoke up once again. "For one thing you haven't stopped smiling the entire time we've been working. You've also been so spaced out you missed an entire conversation Leo and I had about the team."
Percy rubbed the back of his neck embarrassed. Maybe he'd been spacing out more than he thought.
"You want to tell us what's going on with you and Annabeth?" Leo asked using a teasing tone.
Percy couldn't help it when he felt his smile grow a little at the mention of her name. He looked down so the others didn't notice. Gods what had that girl done to him?
Leo and Jason immediately noted the change in facial expression from their friend. They shared a knowing look.
"Did you and Chase…" Jason asked, raising his eyebrows in question. He didn't even have to finish asking for the other two to understand what he meant. They focused all their attention on the sea green eyed hockey player.
All he had to do was scratch the back of his neck nervously before the two males got their answer. Before he could speak, Percy was being tackled halfheartedly with his hair ruffled and now standing up every which way. He shoved them off once they started making kissing noises in his ear.
"Very mature" He replied with a small grin on his lips.
"This coming from the guy who has a pair of Finding Nemo boxers." Leo teased.
Jason laughed at the retort while Percy glared in response.
"No but seriously Perce. I'm happy for you. Chase and you make a good match, she'll keep you in check." Jason complimented whilst patting his friend on the back once more. Percy nodded in thanks.
"Something's different this time that's for sure. The old you used to gloat about the nights he spent with girls." Leo started. Percy grimaced at the mention of his previous actions.
"Now look at you. All shy and smiley. The kid's in love Jase." Leo Valdez finished, holding a hand to his heart dramatically.
Percy smacked him lightly with one of the oil rags he was holding. It was silent for a good ten seconds before the captain of the Trident's team realized his friends were looking at him to confirm their assumption.
"Yes, I love her ok? Now can we please get back to-" Percy was cut off as his two friends once again ruffled his hair and shoved his shoulder. At this point he was going to be arriving to school with a rat's nest for hair.
After a few more seconds of teasing, shoving, and uncontrollable smiling, the three best friends resumed their work on the car in front of them. When they had completed their jobs, Leo leaned in through the driver's open widow and twisted the key into the ignition. The loud hum from the engine filled their ears and they cheered in victory.
"Well it looks like our work here is done muchachos." Leo muttered, wiping his oil covered hands with a small rag and walking over to them with a smile.
"Dude it looks awesome." Jason said whilst staring excitedly at the vehicle before them.
"No argument there. I say we take it to school. You cool with me leaving my car here Valdez?" Percy asked, looking up at him for a brief second before looking back at the beautiful sight a few feet away.
Before them stood a now completely restored 1969 Camaro. It took a lot of blood, sweat, and tears but between the three of them they had finally managed to turn the old rusty car into a masterpiece. When Leo had told them the car was only a short amount of time away from being finished Jason and Percy had agreed to wake up early and help finish the work they'd been doing for weeks in Leo's garage. It had paid off big time.
They arrived to school that morning in style.

"Seriously?" Percy asked, staring directly at his coach and trying to make sure he heard him correctly.
Coach Hedge nodded in confirmation. "The team has had a great season. Best one yet. What kind of coach would I be if I didn't give you boys a break once in a while?"
Christina nodded in agreement. "Yeah same goes for me and my skaters. The pressure's intense during competition season. Sometimes it's important to remember why you started in the first place. Because you love being on the ice."
The group of figure skaters started talking amongst themselves excitedly. Using wild hand gestures and smiling contently. Annabeth smiled, looking to her left along the bleachers to where the Trident's team was sitting together in a group. Percy was getting patted on the back and ruffling Jason's hair as his friend tried to push him off. He met her eyes, returning her smile.
The two groups were seated in one area of the bleachers. The hockey players on one side and the figure skaters in the section right next to them. The scene reminded Annabeth so much about the time they had been in nearly the same position as their coaches explained their weekly joined practices.
This time however, they had been told to meet at the main rink so that Christina and Hedge could tell them the reason they didn't have regular scheduled practice that Saturday. Apparently, they were both feeling extra generous and had decided on giving them all a free skate practice. They could do basically anything they wanted and both rinks were open for them.
Both groups practically sprinted down to the entrance of the rink, some people simply hoping over the wall with their skates on.
"I have absolutely no idea why they're in such a good mood but I'm not going to question it." Piper said, skating over to where Annabeth was with Calypso in tow.
Leo and Jason followed them over. "Yeah the last time we had free skate was…well…never." Leo added.
"Come on. Time for you to learn some jumps Valdez." Calypso said maliciously, grabbing the goalie's hand before dragging him off to a different part of the rink.
Leo stared back at them fearfully, mouthing the words 'help me' as they skated away. Jason laughed, removing his arm from around Piper.
"And it's time for you to let me teach you some hockey tricks." He said, taking her arm as she laughed.
"Wish me luck I'll need it." Piper told Annabeth before the two of them left. The blonde smiled, muttering a subtle 'good luck' before they were gone.
She was alone for barely a second before familiar arms came up behind her, nearly knocking her over. She stared down at the ice, smiling at the worn-out hockey skates next to her white figure skates.
"Missed you Princess" He mumbled into her ear sweetly. Annabeth rolled her eyes, biting her lip to keep her smile from surfacing.
"You just saw me a few hours ago Hockey Boy." She replied, holding his hands against her waist as her back pressed against the front of his chest.
She heard him laugh, butterflies erupting in her stomach at the sound. "Your point?" He asked.
She sighed, keeping her eyes focused on the skaters all over the rink. She knew Percy was staring at the same thing.
Rachel was practicing a few spins. She stopped to wave shyly at Annabeth, and the blonde smiled back. Rachel went back to what she was doing. Rebecca and Ashley were probably somewhere near her. Annabeth didn't fail to notice a few glances the redhead got from a select group of Trident's players trying to check her out subtly.
"I'm sorry, did I miss something between you two?" Percy asked in complete shock after he saw the exchange.
Annabeth laughed. "We got tired of fighting." She stated simply. Percy stared down at his girlfriend while she kept her eyes on the rink. He would have to get the full story later.
Annabeth saw Calypso cracking up when Leo fell face down onto the ice. The poor goalie of the Trident's team looked like an injured gazelle each time he attempted a simple jump. Leo gripped her hand tightly when she tried helping him up. She was thrown off guard when he pulled her down with him.
Somewhere else Piper was getting ready to shoot a puck into a hockey net that had been set up. Jason smiled when she missed completely, knowing he had an excuse to put his arms around her as he guided her shot the next time she tried. Piper blushed, most likely making some comment about the situation being cliché but secretly enjoying it.
All around them the two teams were skating around and messing with each other. It was a scene none of them had ever thought would become a reality. Christina and Hedge had actually been on to something when they started the group practices early in the year. Annabeth remembered how she had felt the minute she realized she'd have to see the cocky Trident's captain every day at the rink. Now things were different. Completely different.
"Been one hell of a season." She heard Percy say after a few minutes had passed.
"That it has." Annabeth agreed. She felt him turn her waist and she complied, spinning around to face him.
It was at that moment looking into the sea green eyes of the boy she fell for that she knew. Whatever life threw at them. Competitions, games, controlling mothers, graduation, college. Whatever it was, they would get through it. She loved him and he loved her. They had a close-knit circle of friends both on and off of the ice. It had been quite a long road to get to the point they were at.
But that's what skating was. You start out completely hopeless, falling every two seconds. Coming home with bruises all over your body. But you keep at it. It takes determination. It takes work. Practicing every day until you manage to learn a few tricks. Whether that be learning a perfect slapshot in hockey or finally landing a double axel in figure skates. You stick with it. Overcoming anything and anyone that tries to stop you.
She leaned up to kiss him, not caring that everyone around them was watching. He smiled once they pulled away, leaning his forehead against hers.
"I love you" She whispered.
"I love you too Princess." He replied automatically.
If you're really passionate about something you don't let it go.
That's how she knew they were going to be ok.
