Judy was in their office, dong work on the floor, paperwork spread out around her in a fan. Nick was out getting them coffee while she complied the paperwork, which was tedious work.

In all honesty, she missed action. Judy Hopps was an adrenaline junkie, she missed the chase, but because she and Nick had both been mildly injured they'd been kept inside their office. She knew Nick didn't like it either, but he put up with it better than she could.

"Hey carrots, I've got a carrot juice mocha. Hmm, sounds cannibalistic out of context." Nick said distractedly. He was balancing a cup holder in one paw, the other in a cast and his eyes wide, the green lively.

"Thanks." Judy thanked him dismissively.

Nick frowned. He didn't like when she didn't pay attention to him. He sat before her and shoved away the paperwork, cautious of her injured left hind leg.

"Carrots." He said softly. She looked up, her ears perking up. "Oh, now I've got your attention? Well then." He smirked and pulled her closer. She sat between his legs and reached up, bringing his muzzle down to hers, his soft fur soothing her restlessness. She kissed him gently and smiled.

As Judy pressed her muzzle to his, Nick's ears lay back, and he pulled her closer. "Hello there cutie." He purred into his mate's ear.

"Nick, you know you can't call a bunny cute." She teased, looking up at him.

"Hmm. Well I didn't call a bunny cute, I called my bunny cute." He said and she turned in his lap so her back was pressed into his chest. He wrapped his uninjured arm around her little stomach, letting the other paw gently rest on her thigh.

"Mmm. Sly fox." She whispered, her head falling back so it rested in the crook of his neck and she was looking at him. He leaned down, kissing her upside down , then pulled back.

"Dumb bunny. Falling for a fow, what were you thinking?" He teased.

"I wasn't, it just kinda happened." She whispered and wriggled in his lap, mindful of the shooting pain in her leg, she again, turned and straddled him, seating herself in his lap.

He raised an eyebrow and her ears perked up higher than ever before. He found himself liking the feel of her lightness pressed against his body, liked the extra weight on him. And he also discovered her was purring.

Judy buried her face in his soft red fur. "But, I'm glad." She told him and snuggled closer.

"Me too. Bless that stupid hustle." He growled and wrapped the arm around her, pressing her as close as he could, needing to fell her fur against his, to feel her next to him, to smell his scent of her.

"Goodness, we should be heading home, it's already eight." Jud said, getting a look of the clock on the wall behind him.

"Mmm. Later." He growled out possessively and pulled her back on the floor him on top of her, his green eyes clashed against her violet ones. He felt her uninjured leg wrap around him.

"Sounds good to me." Judy growled back, leaning up to kiss him, and she kissed him hard.
