Phase 03: Massacre and Disappearance

Somewhere in the sea of Japan. Korean fishing ship was slowly heading back towards Korean Peninsula.

"How far until we reach port?" The captain of the ship asked his helmsman.

"I think in about ten minutes." The helmsman said as one can see a city in distance. There was military base in the city as the ship started preparing for docking when a massive crab-like arm came out ocean. Gripping the ship before crushing it in it grasp as the two halves of the ship fell down before exploding.

"What in the world cause that!" a person that was on the dock as they saw the explosion. Suddenly more of massive crab-like arms came out of the water as massive crab-like monster lifted itself out of the water. It seems to be mutated Japaneses Giant Spider Crab except it seems to adopted a more spider like appearance and having more massive pincer claws. The creature slowly made it way to dock.

"Ahhhh!" the people screamed as they ran in terror as several Strike Dagger came on to the scene as they open fire on it with there beam rifles. But the attack actually bounce off it shell and hit a part of the docks.

"What in the world!" one of the strike dagger pilot exclaimed in pure shock.

"Is that thing carapaces reflecting our beam weapons?" another pilot asked.

"Where our those Hyperion G units?" another pilot asked they suddenly took notice the giant spider-crab abomination never move from the water but it carapaces was changing color and the sea seems to be boiling as well.

"Is that thing being cooks?" a pilot asked hopefully when suddenly steam was erupting out of carapaces in huge explosion which trigger the ocean as well as soon a super heated expanding cloud of steam engulfed the entire city. Minute later the city was quiet as the harbor bay water level was a bit low as more ocean water came in as the giant crab-spider creature carapace return to a bluish color as Strike Dagger force were down as one can see the limbs broken and almost crack open like it was subject to extreme heat. There were hundreds of people on the ground laying motionless as there flesh was red like they were severely boiled alive some of the older people flesh were falling off. The Giant Crab Monster approach the corpse and pick one of steam boil bodies and started to eat. A whole entire city was boiled alive by a giant crab in a cruel twist of irony.

It was morning now at the main headquarters of the Earth Alliances as there was a general panic that was going around the room and a whole lot of stress.

"What do you mean the Korean Peninsula suddenly lost contact with a entire city and the military base that was station there!" one of the officers said in shock at someone that in the video phone call that told him that bad news.

"That is the truth. We lost contact with them last night and we sending units to check up on what happen over there. You should be receiving a report right about now from the investigation team. Soon another screen open up.

"We found out what happen to the city. Everyone in it is dead!" The investigator said

"What was it the the Coordinator!" the official asked.

"No it was it. Everyone seems to have died to being boiled alive. Some of the bodies were badly damage but all this is cause by steam. The mobile suit were also seems to be destroy by extreme pressure and just burst open. What left of the pilots is just a mess." the Investigator said as he looked sick.

"Was it that Saurian Beast?" A general asked.

"No it not." The investigator said

"Damn now there is a unknown threat roaming around!" another general said.

"Have entire Sea Fleet around the Sea of Japan be on high alert!" the first general ordered as a secretary came rushing up to him as she was breathing heavy.

"General we got another problem something destroy one of our Gigafloats!" the secretary said to the general.

"Which one?" the general asked.

"It was the one that was hosting the testing of the experimental units." the secretary replied

"Are any of the units lost?" the general asked.

"No but the Mass Diver Gigafloat is unsalvageable." the secretary said

"What cause it destruction?" the general asked

"From the reports somekind of shapeless mass of flesh that rose from the deep." the secretary said

"Damn it we got more problems now." another general said.

"What is happening out there. First that Saurian Beast wrecking part of Japan. Including the world finding out about that nuclear reactor which that thing trash. Now a city is wipeout by unknown threat and some kind of abomination destroy a gigafloat." The first general said angry now.

"I hope those are only problems." The second general said.

"Could these be coordinator bio weapons?"Third General comment.

"No since all reports of sighting are coming from ocean in our territory." First General replied.

"Still at least the prototype units are undamaged." The second general said.

"That is correct and the girl how she doing?" The first General asked.

"She is still in Phantom Pain under Neo command. Plus that small machine is still with her." Second General replied.

"What about the Seiran family have you hear from them yet." The third asked.

"Unfortunately from the spy's in Orb have confirmed that Seiran family been massacre." The first General replied

"What how that happened?" The second general asked.

"From what the reports said a Zaft military vessel picked up distress signal from Seiran family tracker. Except it was found in stomach of unknown lifeforms that also attack the ship." First General said

"Damn then then plan to make Orb Union to join the alliance went down the drain with Seiran family death as one of the was busy Marrying the chief representative in order to have control of Orb!" The third general shouted in anger as months of careful planning ruined by the Seiran family death as the son would have been busying manipulate the chief representative. But his death the influence will go away when she look over deal and remember what Earth Alliance did to her country.

"It worst then that if they looked thought the Seiran family records to info people of there passing. Orb will find our transaction with the Seiran family." The first General said.

"If that get out that it will cause more international pressure on the Earth Alliance." The second said.

"We need a way to draw suspension from us and get those documents." The Third said.

"I got a idea we going to have a joint investigation on Seiran Family murder." The first said as all three general smile at that idea. But one can see it a stupid idea to call it a murder investigation when the method is already known. But they desperately want there plan to go on without a hitch. Even if they have to bullshit it somehow.

"We can salvage our original plans still." The first general said.

"You right with this joint investigations if we proposed it. We still be working with Orb Union. We can still manipulated them." Second General said.

"If they even agree with investigaton in the first place." A mysterious voice told them as sound like it was spoken directly into there brain.

"Who is this?" The third general shouted as he took his pistol as the other did as well as this was a private meeting and that voice was unfamiliar to them.

"That is not important at the moment." The voice said as all three generals held there head in pain as the voice seems everywhere once.

"Your plan is foolish and doomed to failure already." The voice continued

"What you mean by that?" The general asked

"Your plan to convince the orb union to investigate the cause of the death of your so called plant already ended in failure due to Lioness of Orb being on that lone Zaft ship which discovered it and them finding and killing the cause." The voice said

"Plus you're the cause of your plant death. Your bio weapons were not fully killed off." The voice said

"Damn it I thought all the test subjects were exterminated." Second General said.

"Wait h..." The third start to say.

"Stop your foolish question." The voice said as all three generals felt the pain in there head as they became afraid.

"I suggest you just find a suitable scapegoat to pin the blame on if you ever ever want to salvage your plan. If you want to succeed follow my instructions." The voice said no order in a commanding tone of voice.

"You should place the blame on your phantom pain unit. They are perfect to take the fall." The voice said as it almost seems enticing now.

"But Stella is in that unit and we still need her and that living machine for the other projects." The third general said

"Why not tell people of Stella origin and that phantom pain stole her before you can properly introduced her to the world. That they most likely experiment on her. I mean use those fact and even Zaft will follow you." The voice replied as the three generals nodded there head at the sound agreements of the plan.

The voice soon gave a dark chuckle that even three generals can't hear at all.

While the three Earth Alliance General plot on scapegoating one of there allies. The world was still reeling from the event that hit the Korean City and massive lost of life that was result of this tragedy. Many Earth Alliance nation including ORB were on high alert as they don't know what wipe out the city as they know it wasn't the Saurian Beast that did that. The city wasn't on fire or have radioactivity. None of the corpses didn't have sign of radiation burns or poisoning. But the only odd thing known is that ocean level was slightly lower in the City Harbor then normal plus numerous boiled fish. A news helicopter from Japan which belong to Tokyo Eyes New Station was arriving on the scene as they observe the devastation.

"This is Saegusa Miki and we over looking the devastation of Busan Metropolitan City. It is still unknown what cause this type of devastation but as you can see. A lot of the building and vehicle seems to be rupture out of them. Even the defense mobile suit that came to city aid had the same damage." Miki spoke to the camera as the helicopter hover over the destroy mobile suits. She made a gesture to cut the feed for now as the Camera Man did just that as Alex pilot the News Copter down to the group of Earth Alliance Soldiers and Inspector.

"What are you doing here!" A soldier told the Miki news group as she and her camera group got out of the news copter.

"We would like to ask question on what cause this devastation." Miki replied as her Camera man was rolling the camera.

"All we know this is no natural disaster. A lot of the damage that we can make out leads to the telltale signs of steam explosion." The inspector told Miki.

"Wait how can a steam explosion happen nearby a ocean? And you telling me all this damage is cause by steam?" Miki asked a bit surprise.

"Yes but this steam explosion is also different it cause all liquid source to explode into steam as well. Also a lot of these corpse also rupture as well." The inspector said

"But they look intact?" Miki commented.

"They were the luckily one to have a quick death since they were close to the epic center of this explosion." The Inspector told Miki as she looked horrified.

"Yes the further out the steam explosion mist went and colder it got it had a weird effect on any liquid causing a reaction. Which cause them explode into more steam." The Inspector continued.

"Was this attack cause by that Saurian Beast?" Miki asked

"No the city is relatively not awash in radioactivity. It was cause by something else." The Inspector told Miki.

Meanwhile in outer space at one of twelve Plant Colony Cluster. There was a incident as one of the colonies of Junius Cities was struck by something. There was hardly any communication at all between that one colony in the cluster. This worried people as they thought the Earth Alliance were behind it with a different approach then using nuclear weapon to attack the PLANTS this time. Sent several ZAFT forces to check on Junius Ten colony. The group consist of a Nazca- Class Space Battleship and two Laurasia Class Frigate which surrounded the Colony as they release there mobile suit forces which consist of eighteen mobile suits. Which consist of ten GuAIZ R, Three Zaku Phantom and five ZAKU Warrior.

"Okay let check out Junius Ten and let just hope it was communication array malfunction." the pilot of a Zaku Phantom commented as they split into three group as one group was checking the outside of the colony for any sign of meteor damage or object collision to the hull. They know something collided with the colony and that team is determine to find out the cause. The other two team went inside the colony as they input command into gate which open up for them as Team Three and Team Two went inside as the gate close behind them. The three warship were keeping track of there mobile suits.

"Okay Phantom 1 how it going inside the colony?" the captain of the Nazca class asked over the comm.

"It dark inside here and the hanger section is devoid of life? No work crews or anything." Phantom 1 replied

"You serious?" the Captian asked

"Yes we going to be in the colony proper soon. I mean this is Agricultural Colony they should be still people working even if it was just a couple of work crew on break." the Phantom 1 pilot said in reassurance but one can tell they were not convince of there own words.

"Captian we receive report from team 1 that appeared to be hole in the side of the colony." a bridge crew men reported

"How big is the hole?" the Captian asked as the crew men talked to Team 1

"No bigger then man most likely a small asteroid cause this damage. They also saying there is odd a scorch marking around the hole like something extremely hot hit this spot." the crew men replied the finding.

"You saying the hole was seal up?" the captain asked

"Yes that want they telling me." the crew men replied

"Phantom 1 here there something extremely off with this colony?" Phantom 1 spoke up through the comm.

"What is it?" the Captain asked

"There seems to be really no one in here." Phantom 1 replied as one can hear the shock in his voice.

"What that impossible! 250,000 people can't just suddenly vanish!" the captain shouted.

"But that want happening here!" there not a single sign of life at all." the Phantom 1 replied urgently and freak out as they couldn't find no life at all. It was almost like they all disappear in middle of doing something as even the tractor they found was still turn and a lot of farming equipment were still in activation. There was no blood anywhere no sign of a violent attack or anything. Just pure nothingness.

"We have to report this back to the PLANT Supreme Council." the Captain said as he had a look of realization on his face.

"Did you check for of any life sign in the entire colony?" the Captain asked as he still can't believe that many people disappeared. It was a colony for crying out loud. That many people can't possibly disappear in such a short amount of time. They were even quick to get over here. So there no way someone couldn't make off with 250,000 people and no large warship were reported in the area.

"Yes we check and even bio sensor not picking anything up. There not even animals in here at all." Phantom 1 replied still terrified and shock at what happening before him. No sign of living life or even pets or farm animals were also gone as well.

"Then come back to us. We will report everything that happen then." The Captain said with a sign of disappointment as this is the second greatest disaster to happen to the PLANTS. Entire colony full of people just disappeared into thin air. This was worst then Junius Seven Massacre. At least they know that people died at Junius Seven. But they can't even prove if the people are either alive or dead in this incident. Since there is no bodies. There no actually physical proof that they alright or dead. Just pure nothingness. Like ever since what ever hit the Junius Ten every living being in the colony simply cease to exist at all.
