3rd POV

Sakura stared at the damage around the street she had just dropped down into.

She had followed the sound of the scream but now that she was here, she saw no one.

Where the hell was the girl who had screamed? There's no way she was just imagining it was she? Was it like a genjutsu and not really real?

But then why did it look like a fight had just went on here?

Sakura was so confused. She knew she heard something so she kept on looking.

Maybe the fight had moved elsewhere? Maybe it was already over and done with?

No.

There was blood on the floor, whoever was here was injured, and she wouldn't stop until she found them.

Sakura ran and ran until she came across a sight that made her heart drop to her stomach.

There, pinned to a tree with slabs of metal wrapped around their arms, were three people who Sakura remembered seeing in the beer hall where Lucy had summoned her the first time.

She never heard their names, and only saw them for a split second, but she remembered them.

Sakura carefully took them down one by one. She ran her chakra through their bodies to assess their damage.

The female with the blue hair seemed to have it worse than the other two.

Sakura relayed a message to her clone to wake up the others. Sakura needed to find a place for them to rest properly, and she didn't know where the nearest hospital was.

Within minutes Sakura felt her clone approaching along with Lucy and the others.

"What happened here!?" Erza yelled as they all ran up to where Sakura was healing the injured bodies.

"Droy, Jet, Levy!"

"I don't know who it was that did this, but I need to take them to a hospital as soon as possible so that I can heal them properly." Sakura said as she looked at Erza from the corner of her eye.

"I'll tell you who did it, I can tell you just by looking at that mark on Levy's stomach." Gray said as she clenched his fist that was shaking in anger.

"Phantom." Natsu said with pure rage leaking from his voice.

Sakura hadn't heard that kind of tone in many years. Almost as long as she she been stuck in that god forsaken key.

He reminded her of Naruto.

"We can do something about them later, for right now let's just get them to the hospital." Erza said as she helped Sakura with carrying team Shadow Gear.

"Happy, find Master and let him know everything that's happened and where we're going."

"Aye!" Happy exclaimed, teary-eyed as he flew away.

Once they made it to the Hospital the Master and Happy were already there, waiting.

"Here, lay them down. I'll go get Porlyusica to come heal them!" Said the Master as he was about to run outside.

"There's no need for that." Lucy said, stopping Master before she looked at Sakura. "Green Cat, can you heal them please?"

Sakura nodded before she made another clone, and soon there were three of them.

Everyone stared as all the clones got started on healing Team Shadow Gear.

"Woah, that's so cool!" Natsu yelled as he watched how Sakura's hands glowed green and hovered over their bodies.

Everyone watched as the physical wounds on Team Shadow Gears body soon vanished, not even a scar left on their bodies.

Sakura took the extra moments to heal any internal injuries, but it was nothing too serious. A fractured bone here and there and that was about it.

"What kind of healing magic is this?" Makarov asked with his eyes wide and the things he was seeing.

Never has he seen someone get healed so quickly.

"It's not magic." Sakura supplied. "It's called chakra, it's similar to magic but whereas wizards use it typically for one type of power, chakra can be used in many ways. Earth, wind, fire, water, and lightning are all powers one can use with chakra. Some come easier but all can be used by one individual. With the combination of two elements, a third can be made. One can combine water with wind to make ice or snow. Earth and water can make trees and plants. And just because one uses fire does not mean it has to burn, it can simply be used to warm up ones body in the cold. There are also non-elemental techniques one can use with chakra. Though I believe that's a story for another time. For now, I must concentrate on healing them so they can make a full recovery. Their exhaustion will have to recover on their own by merely resting." Sakura paused her long explanation to look at all of the faces in the room and took satisfaction at the looks on all their faces.

Natsu, Happy, and Gray all had various faces of excitement.

Erza looked impressed.

Makarov looked shocked to say the least.

And Lucy just smiled, already knowing some of the things she could do due to her own research.

"So this is what the Shinobi era was like." Makarov stated as his expression still showed shock.

"Yes. This is was it was like." Sakura said as she turned back to healing. No one noticed the expression on her face behind the mask, but it was one of pure hatred.

Not to say that she doesn't like what the world has become since their disappearance, but she always wondered what the world would be like if they hadn't gotten sealed into keys in the middle of war.

Who would have won?

Would anyone have died?

Would wizards still exist?

What would their future be like?

What would happen to Naruto and Sasuke?

At the last question, Sakura's mood turned even more sour if that was possible. She has no idea what happened to her teammates or where they were at this moment.

She knew that they were all in keys somewhere around the globe, she just doesn't know where they are or how they are doing.

Whether or not they have a celestial wizard to use them in battle like she had Lucy, or if they were just sitting and waiting.

What if some of them found each other?

What if she was the only one left?

There were so many questions that she didn't have the answers to, but she was going to find out.

Once all three members of Shadow Gear were healed Sakura stopped her chakra from flowing into them.

"Their lives aren't in any danger. It may, however, take several hours before they are able to wake up due to their exhaustion and the amount of magical power they lost. It will take time for it to recover fully."

"Thank you so much for your help Green Cat." Lucy said to Sakura, who in turn nodded.

"It was no problem. However I do want to apologize." Sakura said as she went into a formal bow, showing the people in the room once again.

"What for Green Cat?" Erza asked.

"For not getting there sooner. I heard the scream from the girl when I was standing on the roof, keeping watch like you asked me too. I immediately ran towards the noise and all I saw was a bloody and torn up battle field. I continued my search and found the three on them pinned to a tree in a battered state. I'm apologizing for not getting to them in time and not seeing who it was that did this to your friends. So please, allow me to assist in anyway possible for avenging your friends, and the state of your home." Sakura explained, voice strong with emotion.

She hasn't felt much about anyone or anything for a very long time. And here she was only a few days of being with Lucy and her friends, her first time being summoned, and her first time feeling anything other than numbness.

She wanted to help them in anyway she could. From the bottom of her heart. From the will of fire within her very soul.

She was pulled up from her bowed position and was soon looking into the brown eyes of the pink haired man. Natsu, if she remembered correctly.

He too had fire in his eyes.

"There's no need for you to apologize, as a matter of fact, we'd all like to thank you for getting there before someone found them in the morning after having been pinned for the tree for several hours, instead it was probably just after the fact that you found them. So thank you for healing our friends. And of course you can help us with getting to the bottom of all this. You're a part of our family now after all." Natsu said, ending his little speech with a kind hearted smile.

Sakura paused.

Family, eh?

She smiled from behind her mask.

"Thank you for accepting me in to your family. But if that's the case, then please, call me Sakura." She said as she slowly lowered her hood and took off her mask for the first time out in the open for many years.

Happy was the first one to react.

"Woooow Sakura. You're so pretty! You even have Natsu's hair!!" He said as he flew over and landed into her arms, making her smile.

"We do don't we?" Sakura said and she looked over to everyone else who had a slight blush on their faces.

"You really are pretty Sakura." Lucy said as she ran up to her and hugged her.

"And now you're an official member of the Fairy Tail family!" Natsu said as he too ran up to both of the girls and Happy and hugged them too, making a group hug.

Sakura and Lucy laughed until Erza cleared her throat.

Everyone stopped to look at her.

"As much as I love to celebrate a new member added to our family, I'd really like to know what we're going to do about Phantom." She explained.

"That's right. We can't just let them get away with this, can we?" Gray said, pissed at the current situation.

"I might be okay with them destroying my guild, but I am not okay with them coming after my children. Once the sun rises we'll gather everyone in the guild and make up a plan." Makarov said, pure furry in his tone.

Everyone agreed whole heartedly.

"They'll pay, that's for damn sure."

Later That Day

"Are you sure you don't wish to be a part of this Lucy?" Sakura asked Lucy as they both watched the whole guild disappear off into the distance to get to The Phantom Lord Guild and avenge their family members.

Lucy sighed before she nodded.

"As much as I'd like to go over there and show them a thing or two, I'd also really like to be here for when Levy, Droy, and Jet all wake up. You said it's only be a few hours right?"

"In theory yes." Started Sakura. "However I don't know the exact amount of energy they had wasted or how fast their body regenerates their magical stamina. It should go by a lot faster though now that their physical bodies are healed."

Lucy nodded her head in understanding.

"Shall we go back to the hospital then?" Sakura asked Lucy who hummed in agreement.

Both girls quietly chatted while walking, not knowing that they wouldn't get very far.
