"It looks like we take a right in 200 meters," Andy said from the passenger seat with his nose buried in a map.

"Looks like? Is this like the last left we took and ended up by that lake?" Jake raised an eyebrow as he glanced from the road to their water element.

"Hey that turned out well," Andy pointed out, his cheeks slightly flushed at the reminder.

"Come on Jake, don't be such a stick in the mud! We decided to do this road trip for an adventure and thanks to Andy's questionable map reading skills we are getting that!" Sam poked his head between the front two seats, interrupting their conversation with an easy-going smile on his face.

"My map reading skills are not that bad you guys," Andy all but pouted as he looked up from the map when Jake snorted and elbowed him playfully.

"It was a pretty lake though, I got some good photos," Felix added his own two cents into the conversation as he flipped through his photos on his camera.

"Oh, let me see!" Sam dropped back into the back seat and peered over Felix's shoulder to see said photos.

"These are so good!" Sam praised as he took in each artful and yet playful images that were displayed on the camera's view screen.

"Thanks, Sam," Felix handed his camera over to their Air element to hide his flushed cheeks by peering out the window. Felix rolled down the window, wanting to enjoy the fresh air and sputtered when a large gush of air blew against his skin and forced his hair almost all the way back.

"Haha, oh Goth dude you should see your hair!" Sam burst out laughing as he lifted the camera to snap a few photos of the shocked look on Felix's face and how his dark brown hair was blown backward.

"You just started something you may not win Conte!" Felix pointed his finger at Sam in warning, his dramatic tone causing the other to exchange looks before laughing, leaving their Fire element to cross his arms and sink in his seat with a scheming look on his face.

"Yeah… I'm glad we did this," Jake murmured as he redirected his gaze to the road and realized this is what he had been missing for some time.

"Me too," Andy murmured back while Sam goaded Felix playfully in the backseat and Jake felt himself relax and lips curl up as the window from the open windows ruffled his hair and caressed his skin like a friend.
