NARUTO: THE GOD OF UNITY
Disclaimer: Don't own Naruto or High School DxD, or anything else mentioned on here, except any OCs.
Hey everyone, here is the latest chapter. By about chapter 9 or ten, I should have at least a good portion of things figured out, from the peerage to the harem. Along with how big of a mixed universe I plan to use for this story. So I'm just taking things nice and slow at the moment, figure out what kind of rhythm this story would run on.
The peerage is pretty much the same at the moment, still trying to figure out whom Naruto's last four pawns should be. The girls in the poll are just possibilities, without any kind of guarantee. If you have suggestions, feel free to share, whether it's male, female or neutral.
With the harem, I'm going to add Kin in this chapter, and maybe another, won't know until I reach a certain point. She is going to be joining Shauna, Sakura, Hinata, Koneko, Ophis, Lilith Rias and Ravel when it comes to growing with Naruto, although Rias and Ravel would be more like visiting. Mainly due to the fact that since they are high class and status, they have to meet certain requirements before being allowed to be with their fiancé.
With Ayame and Izumi, they already have a head start on life, and while they do love Naruto, their relationship would be more like an older sister giving advice, while going through their own personal trails.
The youngest ones, being Hanabi, Kunou, Tifa, and Kairi, they well be starting off as little kids with a crush, that ends up growing to love, while they themselves are still growing up as individuals. Also, it won't be until about their mid-teens when anything romantic starts between them and Naruto, with nothing more than simple hugs, kisses and dates. Anything beyond, like bedtime activities, won't be until about late teens, early twenty, basically past age of consent.
As for those on my list that has not been used, they aren't set in stone, and I'm going to take things nice and slow when it comes to adding to the harem. Just want to test out how far my limit is going to be, before I slam the brakes. Have no real idea on how many would actually have a chance at becoming part of it..
The poll is going to be more neutral. Mainly, any girls on there I do introduce in the story, like Ino, well just be nothing more than friends, acquaintances, enemies, things like that. While one or two well end up in the peerage, but the harem itself would be another matter.
As for the story itself, the world I'm building, the best thing to compare it to, is Disney Infinity, or even Lego Dimensions. While not sure if such games are still around, but I'm pretty much making my own world from the bottom up, seeing what would fit where.
Another thing to compare it to, if anybody can still remember from last decade at least, is when Cartoon Network seemed to made their own town that was shown either between shows or commercials. Like where they have a scene of Johnny Bravo and Samurai Jack at a laundromat and it ends with Jack's clothing becoming pink, due to Blossom from the Powerpuff Girls showing up to reveal she left one of her dresses behind.
Well, anyway, on with the story.
{God of Unity}
Kushina is at the Hokage's office, talking to her husband who is sitting behind his desk. Sitting in a chair herself on the other side, while holding young Kairi in her arms, who was just sleeping the day away. Kushina came right after dropping the kids off at the academy. For Naruto and Shauna, who are now six, it would be their second year, while Koneko, Ophis and Lilith, who are five, are just starting off in their first year.
The academy started about a month ago, and Kushina is relaying her story of what happened while dropping the kids off at the academy. When she watched the kids greeting some of the instructors as they enter the academy, she can see one or two of them giving Shauna a look that makes her suspicious. Along with overhearing some villagers who haven't gotten the hint that they are safe, as long as they don't try anything on their daughter. They become even more braver because of the fact that Kushina is holding their youngest, and starting to believe that she won't try anything if they tried to free the family from the Kyubi's control.
"I swear Minato, there has got to be some kind of way to convince these people that our daughter is just a little girl with a burden on her shoulders." Kushina said, while making sure to keep as calm as possible. Kairi, who is only about a couple of months old, is starting to fidget a bit.
"I know honey, but all we can do is protect her, and Naruto, as much as possible, while they show the world what they are truly capable of." Minato said, trying to be the voice of reason, getting an understanding nod from her, "But it can't stop us from dealing with the worse of the bunch now."
Kushina looked up and noticed that her husband was giving her a smile saying that they now have a way to protect their family even more. Before, there were those who tried to bluff the village into letting them remove their daughter by any means necessary, or they'll be leaving, taking their business elsewhere which would affect the village's economy. Unfortunately for them, since Shauna is the child of the kage, which has been proven more than once, and making such demands based on heresy would reflect badly upon them.
"You got everything that we need to stick it to those fools?" Kushina asked, with a hopeful look in her eyes. When it came to said fools, if they hurt her babies in any way, even try to pull some kind of sneak attack, retribution from her becomes brutal. Even trying to sue her with a load of trumped up charges would blow up in their faces because some of them actually think they have a right to get away with child abuse.
"Oh yeah, with the combined forces of Jiraiya and Kakashi doing some digging up of certain things, while Orochimaru and Ibiki are prying things from the minions, we are then willing to knock them off of their high horse." Minato said, "Along with giving Danzo and the Elder a major power drain."
What he was talking about happened after Naruto met some more of his future brides, along with what the gods had to say while dropping off Naruto's peerage set. Once he finished making the necessary arrangement with his guests, the council, or at the least the parts that are just nuts, demanded to know what their hokage was doing.
To make a long story short, after giving off some half-truths from the gods, and the arrangement made for Naruto, not everybody was in the accepting mood. Apparently, even though Naruto is seen as a prince since he is the son of the Hokage, he is still an orphan, somebody whose blood is not of fine stock. So they tried to 'convince' the high profile guests why certain councilor sons are a better option, mainly hoping to get some kind of political advantage within the village. But when they were turned down, and told that everything was settled, most of them backed off.
But of course, a trio of now former council members picked a really bad time to stay on their power trip. Their biggest mistake was thinking they have the power over those who are not part of the village, pretty much threatening their guests what they would do to them if they didn't comply to the demands to the council. This caused Minato, the clan heads and even the Elders, to face palm at the sheer stupidity of these fools who just gave the village a major black eye.
After being told who their guests are, with Sirzechs telling them who he works for, that was when the bulb in their heads finally clicked on. When Sirzechs demanded Minato to have them removed, the fools tried to butter their way into their good graces, even expecting their hokage to stake his reputation to keep them there. Only to fall for a trap he set up when asks if they plan to leave his family, especially his children alone. When they tried to come up with a false yes, Minato told him that he can't do anything since a Fire Daimyo's Elder has more power than anybody within the entire village. So now, while there is still hate within the village, things got a bit worse because certain influential people are now trying to soil Naruto's reputation.
"When do you plan on using it on those idiots?" Kushina said, really wanting to stick it to the people trying to either get rid of their kids or turning them into weapons.
"As soon as our friends find enough evidence to keep the Elders at bay, although Hiruzen decided he wanted to be the one to drop the truth bomb on them." Minato said, recalling how the person that was seen as a grandfather figure by so many, wanting to be the one to bring those he used to be close with down quite a few pegs. "Since those three would try to interfere just to spite a young upstart."
Kushina gave off a slight snort, since those three fools have a tendency to bark off things about how they should be respected, and how their authority is more important than a kage's. Yet none of the clan heads, sannin, or anybody who actually still works for a living, well not give it to them. Instead, whenever they bark something along the lines of why their position respect, more than once, somebody reminds them that respect is something earned, not given.
Noticing the clock, Kushina stood up, "Well, I better go, me, Mikoto and a few of the other wives are going to spend some time counseling Tsume over her loss." She said, grabbing her traveling bag that contains both hers and Kairi's things.
"Well, give her my condolences." Minato said, while getting back to his paperwork. Part of it were people sending marriage request for his kids, which he would set aside to prepare for the upcoming winter, whenever he needs something to light up the fireplace.
"I well, and I better be ready for our guests coming today to talk to Naruto." Kushina said, just before she closed the door behind her.
The guests she was talking about was definitely two of the gods, who decided to give Naruto something new to learn alongside what he is studying now. But they also told them that they wanted to talk to the parents privately, due to something that his sensei picked up during his travels. Something that could seriously harm his family if left alone.
Minato was wracking his brain one what it is his sensei has learned that would make the gods worry, especially for their creation. This happened for about an hour, until he sensed a familiar presence at his office window. "What can I do for you sensei?" The Hokage asked, not wanting to give off anything too suspicious.
Jiraiya made himself known, with a smile that said he has something that he just has to share. "I was summoned by the Elder Toad about a prophecy . . ." He stared to say.
The only thing that went through Minato's mind was 'Ah.' Realizing what he and his family have to get saved from.

Academy
In the academy, five years of students are going about their day, preparing for their turn to go to EducaTown. It is a place that was established sometime after the last big war, in order to promote peace through education. One thing some people believed in that it wasn't just a lack of communication that leads to wars, but also a lack of education and understanding of others on so many levels.
So they created a placed designed to give students a chance to transition into the adult life, which doesn't start until they have completed their first school around the age of 10. Yet in their hometowns, the schools get them started with setting the foundation for it. From the basics such as reading, writing, and math, to getting a full gasp of direction they want to take in their lives. Helping the kids prepare some for a life away from home.
In the 1st year level, containing Koneko, Ophis and Lilith, are becoming a bit more open, enjoying being around children their age. While at first, Koneko wasn't used to being the center of attention once people seen her cat ears and tail, especially when some of the kids wanted to look like they wanted to cuddle her to death, but the teachers were able to make peace between everybody. This was done by ensure nobody would treat her like a plush toy, while explaining to the rest of the class why it's important to treat her with respect.
As for Ophis and Lilith, both started off looking like they have the personality of a stump, only to become more open towards others. Just being kids who are being eased into things like ABCs and 123s (Cue Jackson Five singing), while having fun in the process.
Although they, along with Koneko, put Minato into an awkward spot when they said they were sharing a bed with Naruto, only for the teacher's mind to fall into the gutter. Which resulted in certain 'interest' groups trying to rectify things by accusing him of being things really bad, only for them to walk away ashamed and embarrassed when reminded that these are little kids with no idea what sex is, and sleeping together means that for them, they are just cuddling together with Naruto on his bed, with his daughter joining in. But it doesn't stop people from trying to spread rumors, hoping to tarnish his reputation in order to gain some kind of advantage.
Over with Naruto and the girls his age, they are going through a round of the alphabets, when the door opened to reveal the headmaster, calling for the teacher to step outside. Once the door closed behind her, the students in the room became noisy.
A long blonde hair turned around to talk to the girls next to Naruto, "Hey Sakura, Shauna, Hinata, have you guys seen the new doll set that came out?" She asked the girls of the group.
"Oh hey, Ino, yeah, we saw them." Sakura said, as some girl talk started to go on. While Naruto just looked at his male friends, Shikamaru, Choji, and Shino, and gave them a slight shrug, saying 'oh well.'
At one corner sat one Sasuke Uchiha, who isn't enjoying being in a room full of lowlifes. He was far from pleased when he demanded to be placed into a higher class since, in his own mind, he is already better than one, yet only to find out about one major roadblock: His own parents. When told by the Dean that his parents gave strict orders to make sure that their son doesn't get any kind of special treatment of any kind.
Once confronted, both Fugaku and Mikoto, along with Itachi, told him that he needs to build his own path in life, and not rely on things like his family name to get ahead in life. That he needs to learn to become his own person through his own actions. When Sasuke tried to use Itachi being a born prodigy as a reason that he is already better than anyone, Itachi stopped him right there. He told him that using him as a reason would make him nothing more than Itachi's shadow, and Sasuke would never be acknowledged for his own accomplishments. His parents added the ultimate gut punch by saying using the Uchiha name, or any other title, would never make people acknowledge him as an individual.
At another part of the classroom, one Kiba Inuzuka was talking with his friends, while giving Naruto quite the stink eye. Something that started when they were about 4 years old, when Kiba already had an alpha complex building up from within. He would go around, barking his demands (pun intended) for what he wants, and he exploits those that are too weak to say no to him. No matter how many times his parents punished them after hearing from those who witness it, and him gladly admitting to it, he still does it. Even the poundings his sister Hana gives him on the head don't seem to be enough.
Yet the one thing that made him even worse was during a clan get together, which included other clans and future heirs, and he got to meet children around his age, which was about a couple of years ago when they were four. While he didn't see most of the male heirs as anything special, and gave the girls a bad vibe, Naruto became somebody he hated at first sight. One of them being that since he was always polite, and showed respect, something expected of a kage's child, even if he is adopted. Feeling the need to excerpt his control over the boy, he tried to bully Naruto into submission, only for it to blow up in his face.
One of the first things Kiba did, once he seen the girls surrounding Naruto, was to walk up and demand that the girls from hanging around Naruto forever, only to receive a no in the process. When he tried to 'ban' Naruto from being around them, trying to look intimidating, he was shocked when the blonde refused to follow that order. So he decided to take the direct approach which involved trying to sucker punch Naruto, only to be intercepted by a hand belonging to his own mother. That day ended with both of his parents expressing their disappointment of what he tried to do, along with not being able to sit properly after his mother gave him quite the whooping to his butt.
Since that day, Kiba has made it his mission to teach Naruto where his place is, not caring about the consequences that are sure to follow. Being a bully with a purpose, from starting fights to attempts at humiliation, he was determined to prove his dominance within the village. Yet they all backfire on him big time due to the fact that his target(s) refuse to submit to his will.
So now, while the teacher is gone, Kiba decided to have a little 'target' practice, by crumbling up some paper to use as projectiles. Just as he was starting to take aim, "Don't you dare, Kiba." Stopped him from throwing it. Looking towards the teacher, who was giving him the evil eye, "You are already in enough trouble as it is, from that little blockade you tried to do before class."
Putting his ammo down, grumbling at the fact that he set up a barricade to prevent Naruto from joining class, only for the teacher to walk in before said blonde. Not being smart enough to back down in front of somebody of higher authority, Kiba actually tried to force Naruto to leave the class with a threat, only for the teacher to grab him by the shoulder, and gave him his next warning. This resulted in his friends to face palm in response, because as much as they enjoy helping him bully others, even they have their limits when it comes to this boy's stupidity.
Getting back to business, "Okay everyone, we have three new students who are now joining up." The teacher said, getting everybody to finally notice the new arrivals. Two boys and a girl. "Meet Dosu Kinuta, Zaku Abumi, and Kin Tsuchi." When each one gave a small bow while being introduced, "Okay you three, take a seat, and you can meet everybody at the next recess."
Giving another nod, the trio separated to find a free seat. Once all, or rather most, eyes were once again set on her, the teacher went back to the lesson.

Namikaze Compound-Noon
Kushina is in the living room, just enjoying some peace and quiet on the couch, while Kairi was taking her after lunch nap. After filling her, and changing her, the redhead was just enjoying a good book, while her now silent daughter was within eyesight.
After spending the morning with her friends, seeing Tsume doing better after all she has been through during the last couple of months. The first being that after carrying a child for about three months, she got hit by a miscarriage so hard it affected her body. From what Tsunade had to explain, Tsume's body started to reject the embryo, to where it stopped supporting it completely and instead started to kill it. To add more salt, Tsunade had to explain that it was sign that her body is no longer capable of sustaining another life from within, meaning that the next attempt would be an instant death sentence.
Unfortunately, about a couple weeks after one loss, her husband died from some unknown poison that somehow entered his body. Something that at first glance to certain individuals, looked like he had a heart attack, yet since he was still young and healthy, it was suspicious. So Tsunade, with Tsume's permission, performed an autopsy, to reveal a poison that she has never seen before. One that seems to go unnoticed within the body, only to active like a spring, and still remains hidden like it was using camouflage. Something that Tsunade never seen before, and once she taken it to Orochimaru, found out that it's also new to him. So now, both sannin are trying to research this thing, alongside their current duties.
Even though she was declared the new Clan Head by those who believe that change is past due for the clan, Tsume has been dangerously close to her breaking point from everything that has happened to her. Luckily she had Hana who went out of her way to give her mother a shoulder a cry on, and good friends to help her ease a bunch of the burdens she has to go through. Although it wasn't until recent when the mothers decided to bring their babies with them, by having somebody from their family watch over them, in order to add more salt to Tsume's wounds. When Tsume gave her word that she was okay, the mothers decided to trust her, and that trust was well place when she started to act like that goofy aunt that makes the little kids laugh, especially with her partner Kuromaru providing some relief.
So now, while everybody else had things to do, Kushina was waiting for her husband to come back with lunch. Since he didn't have any appointments, or anything that requires a Hokage's touch, Minato decided to take a half-day, so that he can spend the rest of it with his family. One thing Minato was determined on was to make sure his family took top priority.
When she heard the front door open and closed, "Hey honey, did you bring lunch?" Kushina asked, just as she folded the page needed to mark where she left off. When she looked up, her smile dropped fast after she noticed the grim look on her face. "Minato, what's wrong?"
This was when Minato told Kushina everything about what Jiraiya told him in the office early. From the prophecy, to what needed to be done, which involves throwing Naruto aside, a big fight erupted. (I'm not going to add how it goes, since it wouldn't sound much different when compared to some other neglect fics.)
Just as Kushina's will was starting to crumble, a trio of unexpected saviors showed up. Which were three of the Paladaiseu Gods, who showed up out of nowhere, "So wait, you two are actually going to let some prophecy, and some guy who has to pay in order to get laid, dictate how you live your lives? That has got to be the dumbest thing I ever heard." The ever tactless Deadpool spoke up, while his companions, Red and Tsunami were giving themselves a face palm, "How about you guys just live your lives without it being dictated by something that has no real obligation to you?"
While Kushina was feeling relieved that somebody stopped her from agreeing to something that she knew would haunt her for the rest of her life, Minato seemed to be struggling on which side he should take. Sensing this, Tsunami stepped up, "How about you four step outside to talk, and I'll keep an eye on the little one?" She asked, although it was more of an order. One thing she didn't want to do is have a baby near any kind of crossfire between the adults.
The adults gave a slight nod, before heading to Minato's home office. While Kushina didn't want to leave Kairi alone with somebody else, due to basic mother instinct, but she trusted Tsunami to be ready for anything. Plus, Kairi would less likely flip out at her, compared to if it was Kaguya that came in her place. Now she can focus on helping Minato stay on the right track, while trying to drill some kind of common sense into his sensei.
Once they arrived, and placed the necessary seals, Minato decided to ask the one question that he felt needed confirming, "Why do you say my sensei's idea is a bad one?"
Red stepped up, since Deadpool would probably try to add a bunch of babble into his reasoning, "For starters, I made sure to place a strict rules on the summon realms when it involves prophecies. One of the most strict is to not hand them out if they sound too incomplete to understand. Another is to not give them away like one would candy to a child." He started to explain, "One of the problems being, even if all of them were to get the same prophecy, there is no guarantee that they'll be translated the same way."
Getting where this is going, "So basically, what Jiraiya told Minato was a badly translated prophecy?" Kushina asked, since even a fresh at the academy student can see a flaw in what she was told not too long ago.
Red gave a small nod at this, "If what Minato told you was the exact same thing Jiraiya said, the only thing that would have kept you following it was whatever guarantee it would come true." Turning to the hokage, "Out of curiosity Minato, have you been able to meet Gamamaru at one point in your life, have you?"
Minato gave a small nod, "Yeah, I did, and while I respect him for everything he has been through, there are times when I can't tell his wisdom from his . . ." He started to say, only for it to click on what the gods are trying to tell it. "Oh, so Jiraiya-Sensei getting the prophecy was a premature decision on the toad's part?"
"Most definitely, considering how even though that old toad's prophecy is still spot on, he is at the point where he doesn't give all of it out the first time around." Red started to explain. "Meaning that one would have to either been patient enough to wait out until the whole thing is told, or comeback when Gamamaru has enough focus to explain the rest of it, along with at least tell you what it could mean."
"And chances are, I don't think mister 'author of quality literature' would ever go back to the toads to make sure he has the full story." Deadpool said, "He is too focus on the concept of being one of, maybe the, teacher that brought the Child of Prophecy into the world. Even though he had a hand in changing this prophecy more than once due to his stupidity."
This took Minato by surprise, while yes he knew that Jiraiya tends to place such faith in things as prophecies, he never thought it would be this bad. "And I take it you have seen what were to happen if you three didn't step in when you did?" He asked, having more of an incentive to protect his family in case his sensei refuses to see the reality of things.
"Actually, Deadpool could see into what we call the multiverse, which is ever growing." Red said, "Although he has a different name for it that none of us wish to repeat."
"What's wrong with calling them Clustered Fuck-ups?" Deadpool asked, which only resulted in Red getting ready to explain what was wrong with it.
Kushina spoke up, "Can you show us some of them?" She asked, catching the three men off guard, "I want to see for myself so that way I would feel more encouraged to hold my ground, even to my husband if I need to."
While Minato felt hurt about what she said, he can't blame her either. Considering how his own sensei guilt tripped him into following his plan, and what he almost did to his wife, their children would have been the true victims. "Same for me, I would need something that would scare me into calling out on Jiraiya's self-righteous bull."
Giving each other a small look, Deadpool stood up, and with a small hand gesture, demanded Minato to sit next to his wife. Once he did, "I'm going to give you some of the lighter stuff, the really shitty ones would give you some serious PTSD." Deadpool said, before placing a finger onto their foreheads.

Academy
It is lunchtime, and the kids have broken up into either their own little groups, or doing their own thing. For the new kids, even though they came in together, they didn't stick together for very long. At one spot, Dosu is having a little chess match with Shikamaru, while Choji, Shino, and a small audience was watching it. Zaku was invited over to Kiba and his group, and they were talking loudly.
With Kin, she was trying to find a place to sit, when a voice rang out to get her attention. "Hey, Kin." She turned towards the source to see Shauna waving at her. "We have room over here if you want to join us."
Sensing no ill will from her, or the rest of the group, "Okay, thanks." Kin answered, along with a nod. Once she took a seat between Shauna and Sakura, everybody introduced themselves, or at least most of the them.
The ones that didn't introduce themselves were Ophis, who is busying enjoying the head petting Naruto was giving her, while she treated his lap like a pillow for her head. Next to her were Koneko and Lilith, who were glaring daggers at the currently oblivious girl, not noticing the new girl that has just showed up.
"Is that normal?" Kin asked, while opening up her lunch.
The rest of the girls just ate their lunch, while Naruto was eating his with one hand. "More or less." Hinata answered, while calm, but feeling a bit envious. "We just learned to live with it."
Giving a small nod, before eating out of her bento box. Looking around, Kin noticed a feral looking boy glaring daggers at their direction, making her feel uncomfortable. "What's with that boy over there?" She asked.
Looking at where Kin was pointing at, "Oh that's Kiba, and he doesn't like Naruto." Sakura said.
"Why doesn't he like Naruto?" Kin asked.
Everybody in the group just gave a small shrug of their shoulders, "Something about being an alpha, but we don't know." Shauna answered, "All he does is try to act tough, and pick on Naruto because people like my brother better than him."
Sensing now would be a good time to drop the subject, everybody took the time to get to know each other.

Namikaze Mansion
After about 10 minutes of seeing possible futures, the rest of the hour was spent recovering from what they experienced. Even though it was a short amount of time, having so many lifetimes flowing through their heads was still too much.
For Minato, it felt like he was getting punched in the face like rapid fire. In so many of those timelines, he can't even recognize himself. At some points, he loses perspective on the difference between being a father, and being a hokage, that not only Naruto, but Shauna and Kairi, end up cutting all ties with him, even leaving the village for their own protection. Other points, he ends up losing Kushina, who wakes up early enough to take the children away, while the gods protect them from him and the village. The rest, even though he realizes his mistakes, the damage is so bad, that those versions try too hard to make things right, only to make things even more worse.
Kushina, on the other hand, was taking things far worse. Every one of those visions showed her as a poor excuse for a mother, to where no matter how many times she tries to include Naruto on some occasions, she does a bad job of standing her ground. While some of them show that even after the Gods have taken Naruto away from them, she refuses to let her own daughters visit him. Only to result in making herself estranged from her own children. That by the time she starts to wake up, she becomes alone in the world.
Yet while there are some common factors, between the two, the biggest one points towards Jiraiya. How his control over their lives become worse and worse, because their alternate selves let him decide what is best. That every step into even thinking of Naruto is treated as a threat to the prophecy, yet if the prophecy were to start pointing towards him, Jiraiya would be so far gone to take desperate measures in order to keep things going his way.
Red and Deadpool just stood to the side, watching the whole thing. While neither liked what Deadpool has done, both can agree that it had the needed effect. Even if the parents got what they were trying to tell them, seeing for themselves what might happen still if they don't their resolve drove the nail home. Now all they can hope for is that this family stays together, and Naruto can grow up without the real world rushing in too fast.
Kushina looked at her husband, "Minato, we need to have a long, long talk with Jiraiya about how we feel about this, and where we intend to stand." She said, "I know you care about him like a father, but if he tries to insist on trying to force this prophecy into our lives, then he can consider himself cut off from our family."
While Minato didn't like that ultimatum that Kushina gave out, he also knew it would be for the best. "I understand, and I agree. I'll make sure to bring in Hiruzen and the other two sannin to help back us up." He said. One thing he had stated more than once is that while he loves being the hokage, yet he well always place his family first when given the choice. Everything else be damned, from the prophecy to the world, he will not let his family become anybody's plaything, no matter what.
"Well, Yamamoto would be more than willing to step up if you need it." Deadpool said, "He is having one of his geezer moments with that old monkey, and I'm pretty sure he'll want to stick around to make sure things go smoothly."
Over at the Sarutobi Compound, said person was having a good time sharing stories with Hiruzen. The two men were just drinking sake, after relating about how their greatest friends became their greatest headaches. That was when Yamamoto's eyebrow started to twitch, because he knows a certain nutcase is making cracks about him.
Back with the family, "Anyway, I'm pretty sure you want to see how your youngest is doing right about now." Red said, pretty much stating a fact.
When they made it back to the living room, they could tell that Kairi was awake now, due to Tsunami making her laugh in her crib. Holding one of the rattles, she was doing a goofy dance, while making a face. Just enjoying the fact that she gets to play the fool for a bit.
Everybody smiled, while the parents went to greet their daughter.
{God of Unity}
Academy-After Class
The doors flew open, to reveal a flood of kids anxious to go home for the day. What made the day for some was seeing their parents being there to greet them. For Naruto, Shauna, Koneko, Ophis and Lilith, seeing Minato being there to greet them was always a treat. So they ran up to both parents to start telling them about their day.
While everybody was running around them, a few parents resisting the urge to glare at Shauna, since Minato can and will consider that a threat to his daughter. When the high class civilians tried to ask the Elders to demand Minato to not protect the kids, Danzo pretty much called them a bunch of dumb fucks for even thinking about doing harm to a kage's children, since their protection would be a higher priority than their own kids.
Anyway, things were going smoothly, until Koneko shot up onto her toes in pain. "What's wrong Koneko?" Shauna asked, before everybody turned to noticed that Kiba had stepped his foot onto her tail, giving it the bug treatment. "Kiba, get off of her tail."
Kiba gave her an arrogant smirk, while crossing his arms, "Why don't you make me?" He said, pretty much expecting her to do nothing. Only to become shocked when *smack!* Naruto knocked him flat on his ass with a punch to the cheek.
While Kiba was rubbing his cheek in shock, everybody else was checking on Koneko, who was checking her tail for damage. "Are you alright Koneko?" Naruto asked, with a hand on her shoulder.
After a quick looking over, "Yeah, nothing I can't handle." Koneko said, while letting her tail go.
"Hey!" Kiba yelled out, getting back onto his feet. Getting ready to take a swing at Naruto, "I'm going to get you back for that."
Just before he could actually swing at him, Koneko intercepted with a fist of her own, and *bam!* sending him flying towards the entrance when she connected to his chest. "Nobody hurts Naruto when I'm around." Koneko said, as she cracked her knuckles to prove her point.
When he recovered, Kiba noticed his mother looking down on him, with her arms crossed. The look Tsume was giving him was one he knew all too well, which meant he was in deep trouble, again. While he would try to pass himself off as the victim, but the look she was giving him pretty said 'don't you dare insult my eyes.' So she pretty much lifted him over her shoulder, and walked back towards their clan compound. But not before giving her apologies to Minato and his family for her son's stupidity.
Once things calmed down a bit, the family went home, after saying farewell to their friends.
