Bonus Chapter

Well... its mostly a one-shot story. The story mostly circles around Yue and Sosuke relationship, but I did add in Kaya/Sesshomaru and a little bit of Tsuki/Eiji.

Well I hope you enjoy this little extra story/chapter. I enjoyed working on Alaskan and Japanese Star saga. Maybe one day in the future I would get another epic journey idea for our favorite cold-hearted Sesshomaru. Well I should go finish up other stories i got going on.

Late springtime on the Western coast of Japan, small children played in a flourishing garden within the Western estate. A young tiger demoness with long braided black hair with light grey strands intertwined within stood wearing a white yukata with black flower design and black obi with brown outdoor sandals. Her beautiful moon color eyes watched over the two small children that giggled among each other. One of the children was a young boy no older than four with shoulder length silver white hair with bushy bangs over his ocean blue eyes. He wore a light blue kimono with white wave patterns and matching sashinuki hakama pants with black boots on his feet. His smiling face would crease the single magenta markings on his cheeks. He was the second son of the Western Lord and Lady, Yoshiro. The other child that played with him was a young girl around the age of nine. Her long brown hair rested freely at the middle of her back as her brown doe eyes shone with happiness towards the young dog demon. She wore a light yellow yukata with small red flower patterns on it and a red obi along with her brown sandals. She was known as Lady Kaya's adopted human daughter, Mitsu, and was under the protection of the Western Lord. The tigress watched over the kids at her bench that she sat a few feet away from. She became the Western pup's caretaker/protector ever since she saved Yoshiro and his baby sister Aiko from their fellow enemy Jiro almost five months ago.

"Yue! May I join you and the pups within the garden?" A soft feminine voice made the tigress now known as Yue look towards the entrance of the garden. Yue was about to stand up and bow to the incoming Lady of the West, Kaya, but the warm Inu demoness stopped her and just gave her a loving smile.

Lady Kaya is a beautiful black Inu demoness with waist length black hair that hangs freely down her back and ocean blue eyes. She wore a beautiful pink and white checker pattern kimono with a red obi wrap around it. She approached Yue with her 8 month old daughter Aiko in her arms. Aiko was a split image of her mother with the same matching hair and eyes along with their silver cheek stripe markings and black star forehead mark. The young pup black hair was up in two small ponytails on her head and she wore a pink kimono with yellow flower designs on it and a white obi wrap around her waist. Aiko leaned against her mother's chest while the Lady approached the bench. Yue smiled at both of them softly as she was happy she got to meet Kaya five month ago and was even happier when she welcomed her within her Inu pack as family. Kaya tried many times to reward her with anything she wished to pay her back at keeping her pups alive and safe within Jiro's slave camp. Yue just asked the Lady to let her keep watching over the pups and help take care of them. Let's just say the lady of the west didn't hesitate to welcome her help.

Lord Sesshomaru kept his eyes on her for the first few months within his estate by having his first and second general, Sosuke and Eiji; take turns monitoring her movements and daily tasks with the heirs. She would never admit it, but she enjoyed running into the first general more than the second. It took for Lady Kaya to shoo Eiji away from pestering her about when she and Sosuke were going to mate finally. Kaya had made it known with her mate and his generals that she no longer had to be watched as she was now and forever will be family whether they liked it or not. Lord Sesshomaru was not happy with his mate decreed, but had his generals stop their watch and go back to their more important duties within the Western territory.

Yue hasn't seen Sosuke since and Lady Kaya would mention if she knew of the locations of the generals. Kaya and she have become close over the five months as she could tell the Lady enjoyed having another female to talk with and speak about female things. Yue could honestly admit she enjoyed having Kaya as a close friend.

"Guess what Lord Sesshomaru informed me of, Yue?" Kaya's soft voice spoke in a fun kind of tone. Aiko sat up on her lap and reached out towards her human sister. Mitsu and Yoshiro had noticed their mother's arrival and greeted her properly.

Mitsu had come to stay with Kaya ever since the Lady was retrieved from Lord Sesshomaru's mother castle. Kaya was killed by Jiro before Yue came to know her or the pups, but the formal Lady of the west was able to revive Kaya and bring her home back to the pups and Lord Sesshomaru. The human child didn't want to stay away from her adopted demon mother any longer than she had to be, but it has been declared that Mitsu will return to her village where her other adopted family was waiting for her before the beginning of the summer heat.

Mitsu took Aiko from her mother's arms and took her over to the flowers that Yoshiro and she were playing with. Yue mental groaned as she heard Kaya's playful tone and knew it couldn't be anything good. She looked at Kaya and shrugged her shoulders as to tell the truth Lord Sesshomaru never addresses her in any matter that goes on within the Western Estate.

"Sosuke is returning tonight from his journey to the North. He will be having dinner with us to inform Sesshomaru of news from Lord Daisake. I can make it to where you sit next to him. Kaishi wouldn't mind sitting next to Mitsu." Kaya informed her friend with her news of her returning brother. She viewed her mates, good friends and generals of his army as brothers. She knew they viewed her as a loving little adopted sister.

A blushed form on the tigress cheeks as she kind of regretted telling Kaya she felt something towards the first general when she was around him and how they pretty much flirted every time they saw each other. Yue played with the tail of her braided hair and cleared her throat.

"There is no need for that, Kaya. I was planning on skipping dinner and going to the bath house while all the pups are within you and Lord Sesshomaru company tonight. I have no desire to see the general." Yue informed Kaya of her plan on using her free time to bathe. She did lie to her friend though as she did want to see the handsome tiger demon that's been away from the west for a month now.

Kaya just smiled sneakily as she knew her friend was lying about wanting to see Sosuke. "Oh come now, Yue. I know you've been dying to see Sosuke. Honestly I know you two would make the cutest mated couple."

"Tigers do not mate. We just come together to mate for either pleasure or cubs during heat seasons then go our own ways." Yue corrected Kaya on the whole mate thought.

Kaya released a tsk sound and she waved off the truth. "Oh phooey… I still believe in Sosuke and you would make a good mated couple." Yue just shook her head at Kaya's belief before going back to watching the pups in silence.

As it got later and it was time for the Lady and the heirs to head to the common dining room. The common dining room was used more with the Inu family when they decided to have meal time together and the occasional small meetings with the generals. Yue walked with Kaya and the pups while carrying Aiko in her arms. The young pup didn't mind Yue carrying her from time to time, but she preferred the company of her mother and father the most. Aiko could already say the words mama and dada perfectly along with the words no and yes, but getting her to say them was the problem. Aiko liked to stay silent and only used her hand jesters to try to get what she wanted. Yue and Kaya were trying to get her to speak more in her cute little voice and get her standing on her own or try walking. They are planning to get her walking before her first birthday.

Yue paused at the open door to the common dining room and spotted the first general right away speaking to Kaishi, the first heir to Lord Sesshomaru and Lady Kaya. Kaishi was known as the young seven year old version of Lord Sesshomaru as they completely looked alike. Kaishi had the same matching silver hair as his father and brother as it rested slightly past his shoulders. He had twin matching magenta stripe markings on his ivory skin cheeks with a purple crescent moon mark on his forehead as his bushy bangs slightly hid. He wore a kimono top which was white with a red dragon design on it with a white sashinuki hakama pants, black obi belt, and black indoor boots. He enjoyed staying near his father's side as he wanted to prove to his father that he will be a worthy heir to the western lands.

Sosuke, the first general of Western armies, stood proudly while smiling down towards the young heir. His short black spiked hair with its white blended strains striping in was a bit ruffle from the spring wind that blew slightly earlier. His handsome light tan skin face bore his black striped marked cheekbones and underlined his breath taking emerald green eyes. He stood at the same height as the western lord which was roughly six feet tall. He wore a dark blue kimono top with silver leaf designs decorated it, matching dark blue hakama pants, white obi belt, and black indoor boots. His black bind hilted sword rested on the left side of his hip and he still wore the western armor.

"You sure you don't want to join us?" Kaya's voice broke the tigress line of view on Sosuke's appearance. Yue cleared her throat lightly and shook her head no.

"No… I rather use my free time bathing in peace. I will see you all in the morning, okay my lady." Yue handed Aiko to her mother just before kissing her forehead then hugging Mitsu and Yoshiro bye for the night.

Kaya watched the tigress bow to her before power walking towards the west wing of the estate where the head servants and general rooms were along with the Yue's room as well. Kaya tried not to giggle out loud as she knew Yue was trying to avoid a run in with the tiger general. Maybe the lady of the west would do a little match making in secret and also get some juicy details on Sosuke's feelings for the pup's new caretaker.

Kaya walked into the dining room with Mitsu and Yoshiro by her sides and Aiko in her arms. Kaishi quickly noticed his mother and smiled happily towards her. He excused himself from his light conversation with his uncle general and rushed to his mother to give her a welcoming hug. Sosuke and Sesshomaru turn towards the incoming party. Sosuke smiled and greeted all of them in a respectful bow before catching a happy Yoshiro in his arms. Sosuke could honestly admit he missed his Inu family, but there was another face he came to miss as well from his month long stay in the northern territory.

Lady Kaya walked up next to her mate and greeted him with a loving smile which he just stared down at her with his soft gold eyes. Aiko reached up to him with her small hands while she voiced out the word dada in her cute little tone. Kaya giggled as Sesshomaru tried not to narrow his gold eyes at his daughter for calling him an odd name. He was used to his sons calling him papa when they were her age, but she came up with the word dada. He kind of didn't like hearing that name called to him, but since it was his daughter he had ignored its odd sound. Sesshomaru took Aiko into his arms which caused her to lean against his chest happily. Kaya had a feeling she would become a daddy's girl and Sesshomaru allowed her behavior towards him. Kaya turned her attention to her brother general and noticed he was staring towards the dining room doors in wait. She covered her mouth to hide a giggle as she knew right away who he was waiting for.

"Sosuke, we are all happy you are back home. Don't you agree we start the dinner so you can tell us about the northern lands or are you waiting for someone else to join us?" Kaya couldn't help herself with the question as she was hoping Sosuke would admit to be waiting on Yue to appear as well for the dinner.

The tiger general snapped his green eyes away from the door and cleared his throat as he sat Yoshiro on his feet. "Forgive me, my lady. When you and Lord Sesshomaru are ready to begin, so will I on my information on my northern trip."

Lord Sesshomaru sat at the head of the table with Aiko on his lap. Kaya sat at his left side with Yoshiro at her side and Mitsu at his then Sosuke sat at the right side of the Lord with Kaishi right next to him. Servants brought out plates of cooked meat and fruit for the children while the adult demons had plates of slightly cooked meat and a small portion of steamed vegetables. Kaya helped Yoshiro cut up his meat before taking Aiko from Sesshomaru, so she can feed her while he and Sosuke could speak in peace. She would notice from time to time that the tiger general eyes would linger towards the dining room door as if he was still waiting on Yue's late arrival.

"Lord Daisake sends his regards to you, Lady Kaya. He wanted me to tell you he will be sending an invitation for all of you to come visit the Northern estate. Him and his mate wanted to introduce themselves properly to you and the heirs along with you meeting their newborn heir." Sosuke reported to Kaya who smiled towards him.

"Oh, how wonderful. I would love for us and the pups to make a visit to the north, my lord. Since the pups and I didn't get to greet them when they came for the treaty signing, plus it would be a nice experience for Kaishi to know who he will be future allied with when he takes over the western territory. Sosuke, was the northern heir a boy or girl?" Kaya expressed her excitement to Lord Sesshomaru before questioning Sosuke.

"The northern heir is male. They had named him Ichiro. He resembles Lord Daisake a lot in appearance." Sosuke expressed calmly before eating a piece of his meat.

"Did Lord Daisake inform you of his difficulties with the new eastern lord treaty?" Sesshomaru questioned in his calm tone as he watched his general for anything alarming expressions on the new subject.

Sosuke releases a quiet growl as he places his chopsticks down. "The new eastern lord was giving him a hard time at preparing documents on a treaty. It seems this lord wants to start something that he doesn't have any idea what he is getting into, my lord. Lord Daisake will probably be sending you word on an upcoming battle soon."

The general's information had Kaya and Kaishi stop eating and look towards Sesshomaru in shock and worry. "Mate… an upcoming battle? This does not sound good." Kaya's worried tone filled the dining room. Sesshomaru glanced at his mate before turning a cold look on his general.

"Sosuke we will speak of this matter in private. I do not wish to bring my family worry about something that might not happen." The first general nodded his head and apologized to everyone. He continues to express how his stay was in the north along with explaining the beauty of the northern mountains and isles during the late winter season to the heirs and Lady Kaya. Lord Sesshomaru had traveled to the north many times along with Sosuke and Eiji, but they knew the western pups hadn't had the chance to travel much outside the western territory.

When the dinner had ended and Kaya walked out of the room with all the pups and Mitsu in tow, she noticed Sesshomaru and Sosuke speaking in silence as they had excused themselves first. She knew they were most likely speaking about the matter with the eastern lord. It did worry her much as she didn't like knowing that an upcoming battle would be heading their way. She had known that Lord Sesshomaru and his generals had been part of many battles and knew many more headed their way, but she just hoped that they would have a longer peace after their recent battle with the hawk demon Jiro.

"Kaishi, it is time for you and your brother to prepare for bedtime. Mitsu, may you take Aiko and prepare for bedtime as well. I need to speak more with General Sosuke." She directed the pups who followed her orders willingly. She gave each one of them a good night kiss on the forehead and light hug before turning her attention to her mate and brother general.

Kaya approached the two male demons that soon stopped speaking to look her way. She smiled at both of them and stood at her mate's side. "May you two please speak of this pressing matter in the study? My Kaishi is already preparing himself on joining this upcoming battle even if it hasn't been decided on."

Sosuke rubbed the back of his neck as he regretted bringing up the issue in front of the pups. Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes a bit down to Kaya's face. "If there will be a battle with the east, none of my pups will be involved. Kaishi is nowhere ready to join this Sesshomaru on the battlefield."

Kaya narrowed her eyes a bit back at her mate, "That is not the point, Sesshomaru. I do not wish to cause panic or distress within my home with talk expressing future conflict with the east. Our walls may have ears."

The western lord released a low growl in warning with his mate who ignored him as she turned her attention to her brother general. "Brother, I noticed sadness within your form during dinner. Were you upset about something?" A grin spread across the western lady lips as her playful blue eyes watched the tiger closely.

Sosuke flinched slightly from Kaya's words and he looked away from her with a very light blush on his cheeks.

Sesshomaru glanced at his first general before rolling his eyes in annoyance as he started walking down the hall. "I will be in my study. Kaya, see me there."

"No. I'd rather go to my room for the rest of the night." Kaya smiled to herself as she wasn't happy with him right now. He didn't like to argue with her, so she would ignore him since she knew he didn't like it. The dog lord stopped in his walk and released another growl from his mate's disobedience.

"Yue mention a bath for her free time and since she has tomorrow off from watching the pups I bet she will be in her room all day. Maybe I should do the same for my free time away from my pups and mate." Kaya placed a single finger on the side of her lips as if she was thinking, but she knew what she was doing actually. She glanced at the first general who was staring off down the hall behind him which led towards the west wing of the estate.

"Goodnight, brother." The tiger demon flinched from Kaya's voice right next to him. He looked down towards the lady of the west who just smiled up to him before walking past him to go the long way around to her and Lord Sesshomaru's room. He heard his good friend Lord Sesshomaru deep growl again as she kept ignoring him while she walked away. He knew his report about the eastern lord caused the light conflict between them, but he knew she would be back by his friend's side come tomorrow afternoon.

He noticed Lord Sesshomaru take off down the hall he was facing at a somewhat quick pace. A smile form on his lips as he knew his good friend was going to meet his mate in their room to settle the tension between them. He ran his hands through his hair as he walked towards his room in the west side of the estate. He wonders if Yue told Kaya something during his absence. He knew Lady Kaya was trying to tease him just now about Yue's no show during dinner. Eiji bugged him constantly before he departed to the North about claiming Yue as his even though he kept telling his friend that wasn't the way of tiger demons. But… his whole time in the North he was wondering whether if Yue had allowed another male near her. He growled at himself as that thought had brought him many restless nights and intense training with the Northern lord first general. He openly expressed to Naoki that he was thinking about the young tigress that came back with them after the battle with the hawk demon. He told the snow monkey demon how when he first met the tigress he was intrigued by her and plainly expressed to her he was interested in her. Naoki being a species demon that also doesn't mate for life and living with demons that do he understood the western general's predicament. Naoki told him to follow what he feels is right and he wants her as only his then express to her that he only wants her. So, Sosuke made sure to return to west for the first time during mating season for tiger demons. Usually he likes staying away during this time as the few female tiger demons that work within the western estate or stay in the nearby demon village didn't bother him. He never had an interest in producing cubs, but after seeing how Kaishi stuck to Lord Sesshomaru legs from the very moment he could walk and Yoshiro laughter filling the halls of the western estate made the first general crave for his own to join in. He wanted a male cub to stick to him and be as curious as Kaishi in the pressing issues of the western territory and also to grow with the heirs to be their first general in the future. Sadly, if it wasn't for his mother being killed when he was a young cub and Inu no Taisho not finding him along with his father who was the great daiyoukai's general at the time; he wouldn't be where he is now.

Sosuke arrived at the door to his room, but he paused to glance towards Yue's room door which was across from his. She hasn't made it back to her room yet, so he had a little more time to settle in before he greeted her. He entered his room and placed his sword up on the rack he had for it on the wall and moved to remove his battle armor from his body. He put his armor up next to his sword and changed into a black yukata with white wave design and white obi belt. He signed as he enjoyed wearing his light yukatas instead of his normal battle kimonos and armor. He walked up to a bowl of water he had within his room to wash his face and splash his face a few times before slicking his now wet hair back. He should really go bathe, but after his plans for tonight he could easily go bathe tomorrow. His pointed ears twitched a bit and his nose flared. He smiled broadly as he moved to greet his future mate. Yes… she will only be his as he wanted all his future cubs to resemble both of them.

Yue walked down the hall heading towards her room while holding her bathing supplies. She wore a simple white bath yukata robe with her damp black hair hanging freely down her back. She enjoyed her bath completely as the indoor hot spring water felt well on her skin. It took her a while to get used to the western estate life as she wasn't used to living somewhere so luxurious. Back at home she was just a normal demon villager who used to bathe and wash in the same river. She always thought she would have a happy life with her cub in the village, but with everything that has happened in the past seven months she can honestly tell herself that she will be happy again. Yoshiro, Aiko, and now Kaishi had healed her mourning heart of the loss of her cub and they were showing her that they honestly enjoyed her around them. Maybe one day she could try to have another cub. A blush form on her cheeks as she thought that maybe she would allow Sosuke to give her that cub. She would love for her future cub to have his beautiful emerald eyes. She shook her head to clear her thoughts as she needed to stay focused and stay away from the first general till mating season was over. She wondered if he had planned to return during this time or did Lord Sesshomaru request for him to report back. She sighed as she just got to avoid him for a couple days because she knew she would have a hard time holding herself back around him. Just seeing him in the dining room caused her to want to jump him, so she made the right decision to go bathe to get her mind off the handsome tiger general.

The black tigress demon quickly stopped when she turned a corner and her body tense up when her silver eyes landed on the exacted demon she needed to avoid. Her nose flared as she caught his strong woodsy masculine scent. She bit her lip as her eyes took notice of his attire. She never saw him wear such a simple looking yukata before and it made it harder to look away as he had the front of it open enough for her to see some of his well-toned chest. He was leaning on the wall next to her room's door. Didn't he know it was their species mating season? She gulped down the lump in her throat as she slowly approached her room and him. She started feeling her body responding to his presents and scent.

"Welcome ho-" her words and steps quickly stopped as she had to take a sharp inhale when his emerald green eyes landed on her being. Her body shivers in response when she heard his low deep growl escape his lips. She knew he could sense her heated scent that had spiked right when she saw him.

Yue thought of the only one thing that could help her at this moment if she really wanted to stay away from this male tiger. She dropped her things and quickly turned and ran away from him. She heard another of his deep growl behind her, but she just kept running. She needed to keep a very long distance from him, but she had a feeling that wasn't going to happen; she knew he chased after her. He was much older than her, so he was quicker than her young self and it didn't help that he was the first general of the western army. He could calculate tactics on gaining what he wanted while chasing his target. She released her own growl as a warning towards him to stay away, but his loud deep growl told her that wasn't going to happen. She made it outside and rushed towards the beach hoping the strong salty smell of the ocean would mask her scent from her pursuer. She had to growl at her thoughts as it did turn her on and made her heated scent spike that he was chasing her because he wanted her.

Yue gasped in shock as she felt his strong arms wrap around her waist which stopped her escape from him. They barely made it to the western beach line when he grabbed her. She growled against him as she struggled against his hold. He pressed her back to his chest and a light moan escaped her lips as she smelled his scent mixing with hers.

"I told you... I'll be able to catch you." Sosuke's low deep voice whispered in her ear before he bent his head down to the nap of her neck. He took a deep breath of her scent. He held himself back to take her right there on the beach because he wanted her to be willing to have him during this mating season and future ones. The last thing he wanted was to make her hate him for forcing himself on her.

Sosuke had almost lost himself when he noticed her heated scent spike strongly when she spotted him next to her door. He didn't realize he released an approving growl to her scent till he noticed she was trying to greet him, but was stopped by it. He didn't expect her to run from him, but he felt his instincts kick in to give chase. He enjoyed smelling her scent spike more when she noticed him giving chase to her flee and he enjoyed it more as he thought about what he actually wanted to prove to her that if she ever ran he could catch her.

"You don't actually want me, Sosuke. It's the heat that's making you feel this way." She tried speaking calmly towards him as she tried not to give into his scent.

Sosuke frowned slightly from her words. Did she think he was being blindly led by the heated scent? He could easily prove he had enough control to walk away from her and ignore her for the rest of the mating season, but he didn't want to as he wanted her. He released a low growl before picking her up bridal style, which caused a light surprise squeak to escape her lips, and carried her back towards the estate. While he was carrying her back to the west wing of the estate, she tried to struggle out of his hold and would glance up to him a couple times to get his attention, but he kept his eyes forward. Once inside her room which he freely entered without her permission, he sat her down to her feet and took a step back towards her door.

"Don't you think I'm old enough to not become blinded to the heated scent? I just wanted to prove to you that I was able to catch you if you ever think about fleeing the western estate. If you wish me to leave then say so, but do know I wanted you before mating season and I still want you." He questioned and spoke calmly towards her. He kept his green eyes on her shock silver ones that starred right back at him.

Yue wanted to be annoyed with him when he told her of his little challenge from way before, but what took that annoyance away was his confessing words. She saw the sincere in his eyes as he waited on her to make her decision. Normally, the male tiger demon would just succumb to a female's heating scent and take her whether she knew him or not. Her cub's father was just a random traveling tiger demon that was passing through her village and caught wind of her heated scent. He was a good looking male, but she honestly didn't care for him. They both succumb to the season and once he had his cub within her womb he went on his way and she went back to her life. Totally normal among tiger demons, but Sosuke seemed to be offering her more and she knew it by how he was acting around her.

She released a light laugh as she broke eye contact with him, "you really have been with the dog demons for too long." She looked back towards him and he kept his eyes still on her now a bit narrowed.

"Do you not wish to have me?" His deep voice questioned her. His tone alone made her body shiver in want along with need. She licked her bottom lip as she debated with herself.

"You know our ways, Sosuke. Don't you think it would be a bit awkward for you to actually know where the female you mated with and cub were if one is produced? I don't think Lady Kaya would understand or fully accept your ignorance of us." Yue explained as she seemed to have found a way to tell herself they wouldn't make a good coupling.

"I would not turn my back on my cub and you. Yes… I have spent all my life with Lord Sesshomaru and the crescent pack, so you may call me an odd tiger demon. Even if it's not the way of our species, I would like to have you as my mate. If it pleases you, a recurring mate for the mating season." He expressed towards her which he noticed her body tense up and her surprise looked upon him. He broke their eye contact this time as he looked anywhere but her while rubbing the back of his neck.

"I do not wish to kill every male that tries to pursue you, but I will since I want you to be mine and only mine." His green eyes met with her silvers again and showed her he meant his words.

Yue couldn't believe her ears at Sosuke's words. He wanted to make her his mate. He wanted to be a part of his future cub's life. She looked at this strong dominant tiger demon as he was pretty much baring his throat to her as he expressed himself to her. Could she accept Sosuke to be the only male in her life? Could she try adapting to this mate's life with him? She did find him attractive the first time she met him even though he did threaten her, but she knew he only did it for the sake of the pups' well-being. She did think about him when he was away from the west that whole month along with other times he went on pressing errands for Lord Sesshomaru. Would there be a day that she wants him as only hers as well?

Yue slowly approached him while he stayed still watching her. She stops in front of him and arch her head up a bit to look straight at him. She took a deep breath of his scent and her body reacted in need. She heard his low pleasing growl of her heated scent entering his nostrils, but he did not attempt to touch her. She could tell he was fighting with himself, but he held up a way to prove his point he would not take her without her giving consent first. She couldn't help herself at admiring his will and strength.

She released a pleasing sigh as she slowly laid her hand on his bare chest that was exposed. She gasps when his hand grips her wrist lightly. She felt how hot his grip was on her wrist and how hot his skin was against her palm. He gave her another wanting growl when her heated scent spiked while his eyes closed to enjoy her scent.

"Do you really mean what you say, Sosuke? Are you sure you want me… as this mate? I couldn't protect a cub…" She cut herself off from asking him as her cub's death invaded her mind.

Sosuke released a deep growl and before Yue realized it he had her laying on her futon with him above her. His emerald eyes showed he was still in control, but it was fading quickly. "I will not allow death to befall our cubs. I know you can protect other demon's pups easily, so I know our future cubs will always be safe with you. Do not allow the thoughts of that damn hawk demon taking the life of the cub you had previously ruined your image of being a great mother."

Yue's silver eyes starred up into his emerald ones as she tried to look for any falseness in his words which she didn't find any. A blush dusted her cheeks as she couldn't believe she attracted this sincere strong tiger demon. She lightly cups his cheek with her hand which made his body tense from her touch. She watched as his emerald eyes grew darker in shade as she knew he was reaching his limit on his control. She nods her head at him as if silently answering his request to have her as his mate. A deep pleasing growl escaped his lips as he leaned down and captured her lips. She gasped against his lips before accepting his kiss. She ran her hand that was on his cheek down his throat and placed it on the back of his neck. She felt his skin tremble under her fingers which made pride swell in her chest as she was making this dominant male ache for her. She released soft gasps and moans as Sosuke moved his kisses to her neck and throat. She felt her bath kimono she wore be untied which caused her hands to appear quickly on his wrist. Fear suddenly consumed her as she allowed memories of her time in the slave camp enter her mind. Sosuke stopped his movement quickly as he sat up on his knees to look down at Yue. The female tigress's body slightly shivered as she tried to calm her troubled mind.

"Forgive me. Bad memories just flooded my mind." She whispered as she didn't dare meet his green glaze. She couldn't believe she was scared at this moment with the very demon who saved her and the pups from those who had abused them… well mainly her.

Sosuke's eyes narrowed as a threatening growl escaped from his lips. He was not enjoying smelling her fear radiating off her body. He knew he should have killed all those demons within the camp slower for causing Yue so much humiliation and hurt. He caught Yue's silver eyes staring at him with caution as if his irritation was pointed towards her. He sighed as he undid his tie to his kimono. He held back a chuckle when her eyes zone in on his hands and focus on his task.

"I will not force myself on you. Please feel reassured about that. Unlike those pathetic excuses for demons, I have several centuries of control within me. Usually a male would take the lead during mating, but under your predicament… I will allow you to lead at your pace." Sosuke spoke with a gentle tone towards her as he didn't want to fuel her fear more. He removed the top of his kimono to just expose his lean muscular chest towards her only. The bottom half can be removed later when she truly feels ready for all of him.

Yue stared at the half naked male in front of her as she sat up on her knees. Her blush cheeks grew redder as she admired his tone chest. She knew her blushed cheeks were more towards his words than his gorgeous chest. She smiled sweetly towards him as she felt her heart falling for him more. He totally wasn't like other tiger demons as other males wouldn't care if her past pain was keeping her from mating properly. She looked at Sosuke's face as he just kneels in his spot waiting for her to make her moves. He was fighting his instinct within his bold emerald eyes, but he was still waiting on her. She moved her hands to her robe ties and undid them. She shouldn't make him be the only one to expose some skin. Her body did ache for him and she did want him as a mate during heat season. She took a deep breath and removed her kimono completely off her body. Her body shivers in want when she heard his pleasing deep growl. She could practically taste his heated scent in the air. Sosuke's eyes roamed her beautiful body as her breasts weren't too small or too big but about good enough for his hands to grip them nicely. She was still a bit underweight from her time on the isle, but her body shape was beautiful enough to make any man's mouth water.

Sosuke eyes went up to her silver orbs and watched to see what next she would do. She moved closer to him and kissed him gently against his lips. She placed her hands on his firm chest which made his body shiver in need. She let him deepen their kiss while she used her hands to explore his chest. Tigers can't purr, but his pleasing growls and her moans were the closest things to it. She wrapped her arms around his neck and moved him to come above her as she laid back on her futon. She felt his hardness between her legs which she gave him a wanting moan. He ignored her moan as he moved to kiss to her neck and torture her breasts. The male tiger wanted to enjoy the female he couldn't keep out of his mind since they first met.

Yue moaned in pleasure as she kept her eyes on Sosuke when he started moving his torturous kisses down her stomach and towards her core. She moaned out more as she felt him make his destination and started giving the best pleasure she has ever experienced. Her fingers grip her futon as she moaned out his name when she released her orgasm. She panted heavily while watching him move back above her. He licked his lips hungrily as he stared with emerald eyes down at her hazy silvers. He kissed her deeply with the same hunger as he slowly spread her legs and rested her thighs on his hips.

"Yue…your call…"He growled out quietly as his emerald eyes flashed red for a split second. Yue was surprised to see he was still willing to stop if she said she didn't want to go no further with him. She nodded her head as she felt too embarrassed to speak out that he can continue to mate with her.

Sosuke grinned happily as he took her lips again while he fully took off his clothes. Before she had time to rethink about her acceptance, she gasped and moaned out loudly when she felt him thrust within her. She gripped his strong broad shoulders while he moved within her and kissed her neck and throat. Both their heated scents intertwined together within her room as they mated the whole night long and way into the next morning. Sosuke made it his mission to impregnate her this heat season. In the late afternoon of the following day, Yue slept soundless on her right side while Sosuke lay behind her with his arm protectively around her waist. He buried his face in her neck and took a deep breath of her scent which was mixed with his and that of their new cub. He couldn't help the excited smile on his lips. Yue was now his and she was carrying their cub. He was going to make sure no harm befalls them ever. He was determined that his mate enjoys her motherhood this time around. Failure was never an option for him as he was the first general of the western territory.

Three months passed and Yue sat next to Lady Kaya at a small table where Yoshiro and Kaishi were doing their calligraphy. Kaya had Aiko on her lap as she let the little pup play with a small paper made windmill. Kaya was speaking with her on her plans for Aiko's first birth celebration. She even tried to convince her to throw a small banquet on announcing her pregnancy which Yue quickly denied as she really didn't want many knowing she was with the cub. Yue still couldn't believe that Sosuke and her mated and she conceived within the first mating coupling between them. She remembers the day she went back to watching the pups and all eyes were on her from the pups to Lord Sesshomaru and Lady Kaya. The western lady was ecstatic that she was pregnant with Sosuke's cub. She kept begging Lord Sesshomaru for them to throw Sosuke and her a banquet on their union and great news of being parents. Both her and the lord agreed on telling her no and that they didn't need one. Let just say the western lady was sad and pouty for a couple days. Sosuke stayed near her and would flirt with her every chance he got. He was showing her that he meant what he told her about her being his mate and not shunning her or the existence of their cub. Yue at first still felt how weird it was to have him still showing interest in her, but as the months passed she slowly started enjoying his company. They were now sharing his room which was bigger than the one she had stayed in.

In the past three months she could actually feel she enjoyed being a new family member with the western pack. Kaya help Yue with her Japanese reading and writing which she would have Yoshiro and Kaishi teach her as well. She had only known enough to survive within the slave camp, but now she could make sure she spoke properly and read any letters addressed to her. At the moment the only letters she got were from Mitsu and Kagome. Mitsu had told her she would write her before the Lord and Lady along with the pups took the young human back to her adopted family. Yue can honestly say she missed the young human girl as she would always help her out when it came to Aiko and Yoshiro. Kaishi hardly spent time with his siblings as he mostly enjoyed spending time with his father. The only time he wasn't allowed with his father was when the lord had an important meeting with his generals.

"Yue, how have you been feeling? Has the pup been letting you eat properly?" Kaya's soft voice caused the tigress to look up from Yoshiro's paper. She was observing the young pups calligraphy today instead of joining them in their lessons.

Yue rested her palms on her belly and smiled softly, "No. The cub hasn't been stubborn with me."

"That's good. Kaishi and Yoshiro were always stubborn with me in my first few months. They are still stubborn now, but I blame their father for that." She giggles as she smiled towards her two sons who pouted towards her. They giggled as well from their mother's joke towards their father.

Yue giggled softly, but before she could reply to her friend there was a knock at the door. "Come in." Kaya gave permission which caused the door to slide open and Jaken to rush in and bow to them. Yue looked at the green imp and knew him as he was the first to meet the generals when they had brought her to the western estate. Sosuke had explained that he was Lord Sesshomaru loyal ward who mostly takes care of a lot of what goes on within the western estate. He basically kept his distance from Lady Kaya and the pups since he didn't want to get involved in upsetting them as it might cause his death. Kaya explained to Yue that Jaken and her used to argue a lot when she first traveled with Lord Sesshomaru. Kaya didn't really like her pups around the imp as he would always speak ugliness toward humans and hanyous not caring that their closest family were actually that species. Kaishi was the only one of the pups to see a lot of Jaken, but the heir knew how to tune the imp out when he started talking ill of his family.

"Pardon me, my lady and heirs, but Lord Sesshomaru wishes for all of you in his study. Mistress Yue, Master Sosuke is also requesting your presence within the study as well." Jaken reported while still bowing towards them. Kaya and Yue looked at each other in curiosity while the pups just looked puzzled towards them.

"Alright, Jaken. Tell them we are heading there now." Kaya replied to him which he excused himself before rushing to tell Lord Sesshomaru. Yue helps the pups clean up their writing utensil while Kaya stood up and placed Aiko on her hip with a frown on her face. Kaishi noticed his mother's expression first and walked up to her with worry on his face.

"Mother? What is wrong?" He questioned softly. The western lady looked at her heir before turning her attention to the tigress who gave her a worry look as well.

"I have a bad feeling, but first let's see what your father wants." She spoke with a worry tone. Yue moved to open the sliding door for them which they thanked her and exited out. The tigress closed the door and began walking with the lady and heirs. Yoshiro took her left hand in his right hand and Kaishi walked beside his mother while Aiko laid her small head on her mother's shoulder.

They arrived at Lord Sesshomaru's study and Kaishi announced their arrival which Eiji opened the sliding door for them. Kaya frowned more as she saw Eiji as her bad feelings grew more. Usually Sesshomaru and the two generals never involved them in their meetings, so seeing all of them waiting for their arrival was making her stomach to become upset. Yue noticed how her best friend was reacting to seeing her brother generals inside her mate's study. The heirs greeted their uncles then their father before sitting at a nearby table. Kaya greeted the generals before narrowing her blue eyes at her mate who just stared at her emotionless. She moved to sit next to him which Aiko quickly reached out towards him. He shook his head at his daughter which was a first for Yue to see as he usually took her in his arms. Aiko pouted towards her father's denial which caused the little pup to bury her face in her mother's chest. Yue greeted Eiji who gave her a flirtatious smile which earned him a growl from Sosuke. Yue shook her head as she smiled at Sosuke who just gave her a nod with a light frown on his brows. She can now feel the bad feeling that Kaya was feeling. She bowed her head and greeted Lord Sesshomaru before sitting at the table with the two pups. Silence filled the study which was causing her and the pups to feel the unevenness and Kaya's frown grew more as she refused to look at her mate. The two generals stood in silence as they waited for their lord to begin with the reason why they were requested within the study. Yue could feel her mate's eyes on her and when she looked towards him she noticed his frown had grown.

"Lord Sesshomaru of the West if you do not start speaking now I will personally take my pups, Yue, and myself to Inuyasha village and not return till next summer." Kaya growled out as the silence finally made her snapped. Kaishi and Yoshiro stared at their mother in shock as they never witnessed their mother's boldness towards their father. Sesshomaru responds with a deep threatening growl towards her which she ignores as she just glares at him.

"Your disobedience is not needed, Kaya." He growled out deeply as he glared at her. Her blue eyes narrowed more as she quickly stood up and turned towards her sons who flinched from her look.

"Pups we are-" She was cut off by Sesshomaru when he quickly stood up and his deep voice went an icy cold tone towards her, "Sit."

Kaya's body flinched from his tone, but her free hand fisted at her side. She bit her lower lip to stop herself from making her mate angrier at her. She sat back down at her spot next to him and ignored making eye contact towards him. He watched her wondering if she would still want to challenge him. The lord of the west cleared his throat as he took a step forward.

"We are going to war with the eastern lord. The battle can take a day or several months. My generals have informed me that this eastern lord has been preparing armies. Lord Daisake of the North is their first destination then they will move here to the West. Eiji had succeeded at copying their battle plans a couple days ago, so we have an upper hand against them. All of you are brought in here today to know that This Sesshomaru and his generals leave for the North in two days to prepare for their first attack. This Sesshomaru knows for a fact we will win this war, but now that I have a mate and heirs I am required to set causes in place just in case something goes unplanned." Lord Sesshomaru spoke in a cold tone as he looked towards his sons who frowned towards him before he turned his attention towards his mate who now had tears running down her cheeks. Aiko grips her fist in her mother's kimono as she nuzzles her neck to calm down her sad mother.

"If something goes unplanned, Kaya would still hold the title of Lady till Kaishi comes of age to be the new Lord of the West. Yoshiro would become his first general if my generals do not return." Yue's silver eyes landed on Sosuke who looked to the floor as he remained silent with his eyebrows still furrowed in a frown. She moved her eyes on Eiji who wore a blank expression as he remained silent as well. She knew they had long ago accepted these terms. She frowned as she placed her hand on her belly.

"Yue, if your cub is male then he will be Kaishi second general." Sesshomaru's deep voice caused the tigress to flinch and look up at him. She nodded as she bowed her head in agreement.

"This Sesshomaru will keep you all informed on how long this battle takes to be done. I will leave a small portion of my armies here for protection along with the twins. Jaken will be our messenger." Sesshomaru informed them as he looked at his family. Kaya sat in silence as she patted her daughter's head softly. Yoshiro frowned sadly as he looked at the table. Kaishi pondered to himself as he took in his father's words.

"Father, if we are attacked when you all are away. How will we protect ourselves with such a small reserve?" Kaishi spoke up in question within the quiet room. Yue had a feeling that the heir would be the only one to ask the western lord questions.

"If they change their plans and attack here first or even send a small party while we are in battle in the north, the twins have orders to engage and hold them off till everyone is able to hide in the caverns near the shoreline till my generals or I can appear." Sesshomaru explained then his bold gold eyes narrowed down to his heir who flinched from his look.

"You are not allowed to engage with the twins in any battle." He spoke in a flat cold tone. Kaishi frowned in disappointment.

"But… father, I can help a-"

A deep growl escaped the western lord which cut the young heir off. "This Sesshomaru will not repeat himself." Kaishi looked down in defeat against his father. The room became engulfed in silence once again as everyone was taking in the sudden situation. Yue glanced towards Sosuke who was now starring her way. She frowned at him as tonight would most likely be their last night together for a while.

"Everyone is dismissed except for my mate." The lord announced as he looked towards Kaya who still refused to make eye contact with him. Yue got up and walked over to the lady to get Aiko from her arms. Yoshiro and Kaishi exit the room in silence while glancing back at their parents. Eiji walked out behind them and Sosuke waited by the door for Yue to exit. Kaya thanked Yue as Aiko went into the tigress arms quietly. She bowed her head to Kaya then towards Lord Sesshomaru as she walked by him. She had a small feeling the Inu mates would have a heated argument at first, but knowing Kaya she would break down in stress.

Yue exited the room and Sosuke closed the door behind them. She walked next to her mate in silence as she watched the two Inu pups in front of her whisper to one another. She can tell they were worried as well. This will be their first battle that their father travels into without them being part of it. They will actually be safe at home while their father is out fighting. She felt their anxiety as she was experiencing the same thing with Sosuke. She looked at her mate as he stayed quiet as well like he had a lot of things on his mind.

"Yue, hand me Aiko. I look over the pups for a bit, so you and my stiff friend can speak about the upcoming battle." Eiji's smooth voice caught her off guard as he gave her a soft smile. He reached out towards Aiko who reached out to him as well. Yue nodded her head as she mentally thanked the chameleon for the thought. Sosuke back straightened as he narrowed his eyes towards his good friend. Eiji winked at the tiger before escorting the pups down the hall. Yoshiro glanced her way and smiled her way. Yue smiled back as she knew the young pup worried about her a lot.

"How long have you known about this upcoming battle?" Yue questioned the male tiger next to her without looking at him.

"Since I returned from the North…" Sosuke's deep voice spoke quietly as his emerald eyes looked at her. Yue's silver orbs narrowed towards him as that annoyed her. He knew for the past three and half months that this battle was coming and he didn't tell her.

"So is this the true reason why you decided to impregnate me with a cub, so that your legacy can continue just in case something happens to you." She growls at him in anger. She felt so stupid to think he would really want to be around her. She couldn't believe she believed the whole thing about being mates.

Sosuke released a growl as he gripped her upper arm and pulled her closer to him. "You're having my cub because I wanted to have a cub with you. Everything I have been telling you is the truth this whole time. This battle is nothing and it can be easily won. I've been in countless battles in my lifetime with more difficult situations. What makes you think I decided to have a cub now for a pathetic small war?"

Yue looked away from his demanding green eyes as she didn't want to admit he made sense. Still he should have told her about this battle a while back. She felt his fingers under her chin which he turned her head back for her to look at him. He leaned down and kissed her lips softly which she allowed the kiss. He broke the kiss and rested his forehead on hers.

"Don't overthink the situation. You and the cub don't need the stress. Trust me when I tell you this war will not last long. You should know by now how Lord Sesshomaru and we generals are powerful. Lord Daisuke and his first general are also quite powerful, so this war will be done before our cub comes into this world." Sosuke spoke softly to Yue as he reassured her. Yue just nodded her head in silence as she felt her body relax from his words.

The day of Lord Sesshomaru and his generals' departure came at a blink of an eye for all of them. Kaya stood in an elegant, but non formal white kimono with a pink and red sakura design with its red obi around her waist. Her long black hair hung freely down her back while half of it was pinned up in a bun with a sakura gold pin sticking out of it. Aiko stood at her feet wearing a similar kimono of her own with her black hair up in two side buns. Yoshiro and Kaishi stood at her right side in their matching white and red checker design kimono tops and sashinuki hakama pants with black outdoor boots and black obi waist tie. Apparently from what Lady Mikazuki, Sesshomaru's mother, told Kaya that it was tradition to send the Western Lord off to war in his favorite colors as it will bring him safety and luck. Yue even wore a simple white kimono with black and red leaf pattern on it. Her hair laid braided down her left shoulder. Sosuke wore his battle black and silver kimono and sashinuki hakama pants with its silver kanji character design and battle western chest armor. Eiji wore his battle uniform of the same colors as Sosuke. Lord Sesshomaru stood proudly in his regular white and red design outfit with its black waist tie and his battle armor.

Yue stood next to her mate as he was speaking quietly to one of the western guards. Yue knew he was making the proper preparation with the soldiers staying behind to protect the western estate. The tigress silver eyes looked towards her best friend Kaya who was speaking softly to her pups to calm their nerves. Yoshiro had unshed tears in his eyes as he finally confirmed to Yue last night that he didn't want his father to go fight. Yoshiro still suffers from separation issues with his parents from his time of being kidnapped by the hawk demon. Kaishi patted his little brother's back in comfort as he told him reassuring words of their father's return. Lord Sesshomaru walked towards his family from the gate entrance where Eiji stood with the twin serpents. Yue figured they were reviewing their plans while the top three strongest demons in the Western territory were away. Yue smiled sweetly as she watched little Aiko take wobbly steps towards her father with her arms out in balance. Aiko took her first steps about a month ago which Yue and Kaya kept it a secret from the Inu boys as they wanted to surprise them with her walking after a few weeks of practice so she could walk to them. Yoshiro and Kaishi paused in amazement as they watched their little sister walk towards their father for the first time in front of them. Everyone within the yard silenced and paused to watch the youngest heir walk towards Sesshomaru. Kaya and Yue's eyes met and smiled towards each other as they felt their plan succeed in their great surprise.

Lord Sesshomaru had paused in step when he noticed his youngest movements towards him. His face held his usual emotionless stance, but his golden eyes softened towards his daughter. Aiko finally made it to him and grabbed his pant leg. She smiled up to him as she spoke her favorite name for the western lord, "dada." Yue knew everyone saw the daiyoukai flinch from the word, but the only one that got away at laughing at his uneasiness was Lady Kaya. The western lady giggled softly at them as she approached her mate who had picked up his daughter into his arms.

Lord Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes at his mate who just smiled at him, "Surprise, my lord. Yue and I have been working with Aiko, so she could surprise you with her walking skills. After finding out about this war and your departure, I figure this morning would be perfect for you to see your daughter walk instead of missing out on it while you're away. I know for a fact you would be upset if you found out through a letter that our Aiko was walking around on her own."

"This Sesshomaru is proud of Aiko." He spoke softly towards his daughter who smiled at him. The word dada escapes her lips again while she snuggles into his mokomoko. Eiji and Sosuke fake coughed to hide their chuckles when their brother in arms flinched again at his daughter's word for him. The daiyoukai glared deadly at his generals which caused the second general to playfully hide behind Tsuki who wore a flat look as she couldn't believe the chameleon childish behavior. Sosuke just grinned as he shrugged towards his lord unfazed by his threatening look.

"You do know Lord Sesshomaru is going to put you and Eiji through hell during the battle because of that chuckle." Yue spoke up finally towards Sosuke. The tiger demon grins towards his female before releasing a bored sigh.

"Nothing I'm not used to along with Eiji. Eiji mostly does the dirty work during battles while I do all the tactics and paperwork. The worst thing Lord Sesshomaru can do to us is castrate us, but I doubt that would work in his favor as Eiji and I would kill ourselves if we aren't able to spread our seed." Sosuke laughed out when Yue growled and punched his arm from his last sentence.

Yue was about to walk away from Sosuke, but he quickly wrapped his arm around her waist gently and hugged her from behind. "That wasn't funny, general." Yue growled at him which he chuckled softly in her ear. He kissed her neck lightly and released a calming growl against her skin to calm her down. It worked as Yue released a soft sigh before leaning back against him.

"Are you going to miss me, my mate?" he whispered in her ear. Yue stayed silent as she didn't want to answer him. She didn't understand why he was asking when they both knew she would. She had missed him when he went to go stay in the North for the remainder of the winter months. He had already told her he couldn't stop thinking about her either when he was away.

"Are you going to miss me?" She questioned him which he released another calming growl against her skin.

"I will worry about you and our cub's well-being. I have made it my goal to finish this battle quickly, so I will be present when our cub is born." Yue smiled happily as she glanced back towards him. He smiled down at her with his shining emerald eyes.

"Better return back by then or I never forgive you." Yue whispers to him. The tiger general grin as he kissed her forehead tenderly.

"We leave." Lord Sesshomaru announced which caused Sosuke to stand straight and release his hold on Yue.

Sosuke nodded towards her before he walked to the gate entrance where Eiji stood waiting. The twin serpents had moved to the other side of the gate. The first general stood next to his good friend as they waited for their lord. The chameleon demon grinned at Sosuke as if he had a joke ready for his brother in arms, but Sosuke just had to give him a stern look to shut him up. Kaya took Aiko from Sesshomaru's arms which caused the young heir to whine and pout. Kaya frowns towards her daughter's behavior before looking up to her mate. She gave him a light smile as her blue eyes held sadness.

Yoshiro and Kaishi approached their father and gave him light smiles as well. "Have a great battle, father. This Kaishi knows you will show the eastern armies that the west isn't anything to look down upon." Kaishi spoke encouragement. Yoshiro nodded in agreement of his brother's words.

"Yoshiro knows that papa will kill them all in no time." Yoshiro spoke proudly towards Sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru looked down at his sons and saw their determination for him. He felt his pride swell, but he just gave them a silent nod of agreement. He soon felt a hand on his left arm which caused his attention on his mate and daughter. Kaya leaned up on her tiptoes which daiyoukai noticed and leaned down a bit to her level. Kaya kissed his cheek lightly before whispering, "Do come home safe, my love. I don't have the strength to do for you as you did for me several months ago. Just like you… I need my mate to keep going with life."

Kaya stood back a bit and smiled up to him when he straightened back his stance. He gave her a reassuring growl and nodded his head slightly. Lord Sesshomaru has noticed his mate's physique was weaker than normal and there have been times he caught her having a hard time catching her breath. He automatically went to his mother's palace demanding why Kaya's condition was so. His mother informed him that a toll had to be given to the Okagami for Kaya to return to the world of the living. Kaya gave a bit of her demon health ability to come home. The daiyoukai was livid for weeks as he knew his mate's health now was closer to that as a human then a full-fledged demon. His anger was mostly towards that Kaya once again had to sacrifice something to be his mate.

"This battle is already over since this Sesshomaru has to be a part of it. No need to wait for this Sesshomaru return." The daiyoukai spoke with a flat tone. Kaya smiled and nodded her head in agreement.

Lord Sesshomaru looked at his family once more before turning away and walked towards the gate. "We are leaving." The dog demon announced once more which caused Jaken to appear and run after him. All the staff and guards within the gates of the western estate bow towards their lord. Yue smiled towards her mate which he grinned towards her in return. Lord Sesshomaru walked past his generals and began the journey towards the Northern border. The generals followed in silence as they were already mentality prepare for the trip. Kaya and the heirs along with Yue bow in respect towards their retrieving backs.

Several months pass within the western estate with their Lord and generals still gone. Kaya would read the letters to the heirs and Yue of the pressing matter of the war up in the North and in the East. Lord Sesshomaru would constantly express how fed up he was towards the Eastern Lord and his armies. Sosuke had also written separate letters to Yue and let her know that Lord Sesshomaru and Lord Daisake were trying to take the Eastern Lord out, but the sneaky Weasel demon was quite annoying in pinpointing within the eastern territory.

Yue groaned in irritation as she sat in the study room where Lady Kaya just read another letter from Lord Sesshomaru explaining that the battle is still nowhere near finished. Yue rubbed her swollen belly to help her calm down. Her cub was near at arriving and Sosuke was nowhere near returning home. Kaya giggled towards her very pregnant friend and knew how frustrated she felt. Yoshiro and Kaishi released sad sighs from not hearing good news of their father's victory. Aiko pouted as she played with her stuffed doll that Yue had made her.

"I could write Sesshomaru to let Sosuke return for a couple of days for the arrival of your cub, Yue. It is no trouble at all." Kaya suggested towards the tigress who released a soft sigh.

"No, I don't want to be responsible for an issue to arise from Sosuke's absence in the war. Also, he promised he would be home before the cub's arrival, so I'm holding it to him to keep that promise." Yue smiled towards Kaya who just giggled more.

Lord Sesshomaru and his generals already placed six months into the never ending war and Yue's cub could arrive any day now. Female tiger demons are used to birthing and raising cubs alone, but Sosuke had spoiled Yue with attention that the tigress had grown an attachment towards the first general. The thought of him not being here during her cub's arrival put a very bad taste in her mouth. Yue frowned to herself as she was having strong feelings that Sosuke wasn't going to keep his promise. It doesn't help that this morning she felt sharp cramps notifying her that her cub can decide to arrive any moment now. Yoshiro noticed Yue's frown and frown as well as he got up from the table where he was practicing his reading and sat next to her. He rested his small hand on her hand that was on her swollen belly. Yue looked at the young pup and smiled as she knew he was trying to comfort her.

"If uncle Sosuke doesn't come home to make Yue happy soon then he won't be my favorite uncle no more." Yoshiro spoke in a determined voice as he narrowed his blue eyes.

"Oooh… I'm telling uncle Inuyasha and Eiji that you favor Sosuke more." Kaishi laughed out towards Yoshiro. Kaya giggled as she watched her pups.

"No… don't do that, Kaishi!" Yoshiro whines towards his brother.

"Do you favor Sosuke because of me, Yo-kun?" Yue asked him while using the nickname that Mitsu had taught her. Yoshiro looked at Yue with a blush on his cheeks. Kaya and Yue giggled sweetly towards Yoshiro's expression.

"Uncle Sosuke makes Yue so happy which makes this Yoshiro happy. I remember Yue being sad and scared every night when we were in that scary camp. I didn't want my precious friend to be sad anymore. Uncle Sosuke took Yue's sadness and fear away." Yoshiro explained as he looked down shyly with his cheeks still red from embarrassment.

"Aw… My pup is so considerate and good hearted." Kaya smiled happily at Yoshiro's sweetness before taking him into her arms and petting his head lovingly. Yue smiled towards Yoshiro as he warmed her heart greatly.

Aiko pouted towards her mother and brother as she was jealous that her mother was loving on someone else beside her. Kaya noticed her daughter pouting and smiled towards her. "Aw… don't pout my baby girl. Mama loves you just the same."

Kaishi smiled at his mother and siblings. He looked at Yoshiro and knew his brother favored Yue much and he viewed her as a second mother. Kaishi just viewed the tigress as an older sister or grateful aunt. Yue always gave honest and sincere advice towards Kaishi and Yoshiro when they spent time with her.

"Uncle Sosuke never breaks his promises, Yue. He will be here." Kaishi said proudly as he looked towards Yue. The tigress looked towards the eldest heir and smiled towards him. "You all make it hard to be mad towards that first general." Yue giggled out as she rubbed her belly. All of them laughed within the study as they enjoyed their small talk.

Before long a huge explosion erupted from outside the western estate which caused all of them in the study to flinch in fear and shock. Aiko and Yoshiro cowered into Kaya's arms while Kaishi quickly stood up from his seat. Yue gasps and moves to try to stand up, but Kaishi stops her. Kaishi told everyone that he will go check what's going, but Kaya growled at him to stop his movement towards the door. Another explosion erupted again outside which everyone feared for the worst. They all heard running and screaming outside the room.

"Yoshiro, take your sister and stay by Yue. I'm going to check what is happening. Kaishi you will stay put." Kaya ordered her pups and narrowed her blue eyes at her eldest who pouted in response. Yoshiro took his sister's hand and moved her next to Yue's side. He hugged his scared sister in his arms as she buried her little face in his chest.

"My lady, why don't you just call the twins for a report?" Yue tried to reason with her friend while she approached the door.

"If they are out fighting then I don't want them to stop protecting the western estate. I will call for one of the guards or Reiko to see what the situation is, okay." Kaya expressed as she kneels by the sliding door and opened it slightly.

The western lady saw all the servants running about the halls and a few guards. Everyone was in a panic mode within the estate. The lady soon spotted Reiko, the mouse demon, and called out towards her. Reiko rushed to the door and bowed quickly.

"My lady you and the heirs must stay hidden in this room for a bit till the guards secure a path towards the caverns. Eastern soldiers have breached the gates and master Tetsu and Tsuki are already fighting them off. We had already sent a tengu to notify Lord Sesshomaru of this attack." Reiko explained with worry in her voice. Another explosion and loud yelling alarmed Kaya and Reiko's attention towards the entrance of the main building.

"Reiko, send two guards our way. I must have my family moved now." Kaya ordered the mouse demon who nodded and rushed off. The western lady stood up and rushed to Yue's side to help her up.

"We must leave at the back entrance now. Kaishi help me with your siblings while I help Yue." Kaya ordered her eldest who nodded. Kaishi moved over to Yoshiro and Aiko. Yoshiro whimpers along with Aiko in fear. Kaishi took his sister into his arms which she quickly buried her head in his neck in fear.

"It will be okay, little Aiko. Brother will protect you till father comes for us." Kaishi reassured her while patting her head gently. Yoshiro stood up and went to Yue's side once his mother helped her up to her feet. He quickly took her free hand tightly which made the tigress smile softly down to him.

"I'm fine, my Lady. I can keep up, so tend to your pups." Yue smiled to Kaya in thanks, then patted her left shoulder to help her calm down. Kaya gave a worry smile as she looked at her frightened pups.

"My Lady, I have two guards here to escort you all." Reiko appeared at the open door with two badger demons in the western uniform and armor.

A huge explosion blasted down the hall from the room which caused the whole building to shake. Kaya held onto Yue while Yoshiro hugged her leg in fright. Aiko screamed and began crying into her brother's shoulder. Kaishi growled as he covered Aiko protectively. Reiko and the guards duck from the blast. The guards quickly recovered from the blast then pulled their swords out just in case of a surprise attack. Reiko asked if everyone was okay which only Kaya, Yue, and Kaishi responded with the word fine.

"Reiko, once we are on the escape route to the cravens, I want you to gather all the servants and send them to the hiding place as well. I want no one dying by those bastards hands." Kaya ordered the mouse demon who nodded. "Forgive me, my lady, but we must move now." one of the badgers spoke to Kaya as he and his partner kept their dark eyes on the destroy halls for any incoming threats.

Kaya nodded as she looked at Kaishi who was standing waiting for his mother's orders with an irritated look in his gold eyes. She knew her son wanted to be out there protecting his home since his father wasn't here, but she felt relief when Sesshomaru demanded him not to join any battle that might befall the estate.

"Kaishi, lead the way and Yoshiro stay near your brother at all times. Yue and I will be right behind you all. The guards will have our backs on our trip." Kaya told her sons who pouted, but nodded. Yue knew Kaya was going to stay with her since she couldn't move quickly enough on her own with her big pregnant belly. She felt grateful to the dog demoness for her thinking on her safety too.

Kaishi nodded and grabbed his brother's hand which Yoshiro pouted in sadness. He wanted to stay by Yue's side too as he was worried about her and her pup. Kaishi led his brother out the room with his sister secured safely in his arms. Kaya led Yue out of the room right behind them while holding her left arms as Yue instantly hugged her belly while power walking. The two guards were closely behind them as they stayed on high alert of their surroundings. As they near the back entrance of the estate that will lead them to a path towards their hiding, Yue gasps out loudly as she pauses in her step. A sharp pain hit her back then she felt a liquid run down her legs. She looked down at the water puddle at her feet. A wave of pain ran through her body which caused her groan out and lean over. Kaya gasps in surprise as she looks down at Yue. Kaishi and Yoshiro stop and look back towards Yue and their mother in fear. The guards rush to their side in a blink of an eye to see what was wrong.

"Leave it to Sosuke's cub to pick this moment to arrive. We need to move her to a room now. The cub is not going to make it to the caverns in time. Can one of you find the healer and bring him to us?" Kaya asked one of the guards while moving Yue to a nearby room. One of the guards took off to do the lady's request while the other helped Kaya with Yue. She found an empty room and moved Yue into the room. Kaishi moved his brother within the room and sat themselves at the far side of the room away from the door. He gave Yoshiro their sister who was still sobbing softly in fear while releasing the words mama and dada from her lips.

Kaya sat Yue down slowly with the help of the guard then ordered the guard to stand guard outside the door which he obliged quickly. Kaishi rushed over to Yue's side and asked if she needed anything which she shook her head no while breathing heavily. The heir watched his mother rush to the closet and took out the futon. Kaishi moved to help his mother whom she thanked while they worked to set up the futon then help Yue move on top of it. Kaya looked towards the door when she heard another explosion within the estate. She started praying that Lord Sesshomaru or Sosuke showed up to protect them during this time. She also started praying that they would be safe enough in this room while Yue gives birth to the babe.

"Relax Yue, if the healer doesn't show in time I will gladly help bring your cub into this world. You are with family. Everything will be safe for you and the cub." Kaya smiled at Yue as she reassured her. Yue smiled back the best she could as more waves of pain was moving within her lower half.

Kaya looked at Kaishi who had a scared look on his face. He knew only a healer and nursing maid was allowed within a birthing. "Everything will be fine, my Kaishi. You don't have to help me with this birthing. How about you go support your scared siblings while I help Yue." Kaishi looked up at his mother with his scared gold eyes and nodded his head slowly.

"I will... still help if you need me, mother." Kaishi spoke with a quiet tone while standing up. Kaya nodded her head at him before he walked over to his scared siblings.

Yue growled and yelled in pain. Kaya took a deep breath before tying up her sleeves of her kimono before moving between Yue's legs. Sweat beaded on Yue's forehead while she let her friend untie her kimono. She guesses Sosuke won't be able to make it to the arrival of their cub after all. She hated that her cub decided to come during a dangerous time and the fear of this cub not making it during this time flooded her mind. She couldn't bear losing another cub again. Tears ran down her cheeks as she looked towards her friend, the lady of the west. Kaya sensed the tigress fear and looked at her with a frown.

"You and the cub will be fine. I promise as the Lady of the West that no harm will come to you two. Trust me, Yue-chan." Kaya calmly told the tigress as she knew what was running through her friend's mind. More tears ran down Yue's cheeks as she nodded her head. A huge explosion erupted loudly outside the room which caused Yoshiro and Aiko to scream in fear while they both hugged a worried Kaishi. Kaya looked towards the closed sliding door and still saw the shadow of the guard at the door.

"Good he's still there. Now Yue, let's bring your cub into this world." Kaya said with her bravest voice and spread the tigress legs wide.

Yue screamed and groaned in pain during the birthing of her cub. She panted heavily after every push she did when Kaya instructed her to do. Deadly growls erupted outside the room which caught their attention. Kaishi stood up as he recognized them.

"Mother! Father is here." Kaishi spoke up loudly to his mother. A different growl erupted in the halls as well which this time it caught a tired Yue's attention. "Sosuke!" Kaishi notified them as he moved to the sliding door.

"Kaishi, don't get too close to the door just yet. They need to speak to us first before we can let them know we are in here. If it is them they would smell our scents already and know to stay close by since the scent of the birthing." Kaya warns and growl towards her eldest who stop a few feet from the door.

"Thank you, Kami-sama! They most likely knew of this attack beforehand which caused their fast arrival home. Yue, it seems that Sosuke kept his promise to be here for the cub's arrival." Kaya smiled towards the tired tigress who nodded her head in agreement. She groans out loudly which brought Kaya back to her duty at the cub's birth.

"Kaya… pups… are you in there." Sesshomaru's deep angry voice called within the room. Kaya grinned as she was happy to hear her mate's voice.

"Papa! Dada!" Yoshiro and Aiko called out at the same time when they were their father. "Yes, father. We are safe. We couldn't make it to the caverns because Yue went into labor." Kaishi explained to his father calmly. The two growls appeared again and the sound of swords being swung came through the door.

"This Sesshomaru will notify you when it is safe to come out. Is the healer within the room too?" Sesshomaru questioned.

Kaishi looked towards his mother who was too focused on helping Yue. "No… he never showed. Mother is helping Yue with the birth. The cub should cry any second now."

Silence replied to the young heir even though he knew his father heard him. He wouldn't doubt his father was angry that his servants were nowhere to help them during this time. Mother would have to explain to him that it was her decision to have them go towards the caverns where they were supposed to be. Yue's screams engulfed the room before she fell back on futon in exhaustion. Babe cries filled the room which caught Kaishi, Yoshiro, and Aiko's attention towards their mother. Kaya wore a big smile as she softly hushed the babe in her arms. Yoshiro quickly took off his black and green kimono top which left him in his white Han juban. He rushed to his mother's side and gave his kimono top to her so she could use it for the cub. Kaya smiled and thanked her son as she wrapped the crying babe in the kimono. Yoshiro stayed by his mother's side as he looked at the babe with curious eyes. Yue looked towards Kaya while she tried to catch her breath.

"Congratulations, Yue. You're a mother to a beautiful son." Kaya smiled towards her happily. Yue slowly sat up and fixed her kimono close before reaching out for her cub. Kaya gave her the babe and sat near her with Yoshiro who wore a huge smile on his face. Kaishi and Aiko rushed over to their side as well to greet the new cub.

Yue looked down to the face of her son as tears ran down her face. He was gorgeous in her silver eyes. He had black hair as hers with the very faint hue grey which she knew will grow to look like her hair color. He had his father's breath taking emerald eyes which looked up to her as he whimpered softly. He had her tan skin and two grey stripe markings on his small cheeks. She laughed out softly as more tears ran down her face. Her heart swelled completely as she looked down at her son. She kissed his forehead which he made a small noise to her.

Yue looked towards Kaya, "Thank you. Thank you, my lady." Kaya smiled more to the tigress as she kept crying. Tears started forming at the corner of the western lady's eyes as well as they were happy tears.

"Is… my cub...and mate...okay?" Sosuke's quiet voice came from outside the closed door. Kaya chuckled along with Yue when they heard the first general voice.

"Yes, brother Sosuke. You are a father. Is it safe yet to come out, so you can come meet your cub?" Kaya replied and questioned the tiger demon.

"Lord Sesshomaru and Eiji are finishing up the last remaining enemies. He told me to stand guard outside the room. The guard that was out here protecting you all was severely injured from the last explosion, but he died once he saw Lord Sesshomaru and myself approach this room. Soon, you all can come out and greet the Lord." the first general reported calmly. Kaya grinned when she heard his happy tone in his report.

By the end of that same day, Lord Sesshomaru and his generals had successfully ended the surprise attack the eastern armies raised in the western estate. Tetsu helped his twin sister bandage her injuries as she was the first to stop most of the first explosion within the estate. Let's just say she had an ear full from both her brother and the second general for her reckless action. Kaya was able to sneak out of the room to converse with a very angry dog demon. She knew he was angry because his family was mostly defenseless with one guard protecting them. She came to find out the other guard was killed before he made it to retrieve the healer for them. The healer and the other servants that survived the attack had returned to the estate. The lady of the west noticed that only half of their servants made it out alive during the attack. Reiko was also badly injured at the gathering and took them to safety. Reiko, Kaya's most loyal and first friend within the western estate had passed away that night from her injuries. Lord Sesshomaru and Sosuke survey while conversing about the damage done to their home. The daiyoukai was not pleased one bit.

Yue lay resting in her own futon within her shared room with Sosuke. She lightly slept as her son slept next to her peacefully. Sosuke couldn't fully visit with her and their son as he was extremely busy with Lord Sesshomaru and Eiji on fully securing that the western estate was safe to be in at the moment. Kaya made it a point that the healer checked her and the cub out and stayed nearby just in case Yue needed help with anything. As the day went on and the night became later, Yue opened her eyes and noticed a bowl of soup and rice waiting next to her. She glanced at her still sleeping cub and couldn't help smiling happily at him. She yet thought of a suitable name for him, but maybe once Sosuke came to them then he could help her with one. She had the same dilemma with her first cub, but the day Jiro invaded her village, she thought on what to name her first son, but he now could never carry it.

She sat up slowly and took the food in her hands. She must have been very tired if she didn't hear someone come into her room or smelled the food. She made sure to finish her meal quickly just in case her son awoke ready for his first feeding. Like clockwork once she finishes her meal, her cub awoke in cries ready to eat. She smiled lovingly as she began to feed him her milk. Yue's silver eyes quickly moved to the sliding door to her room and saw Sosuke enter the room. She noticed his tiredness upon his face, but he quickly made it disappear when he saw her awake. He closes the door to their room and smiles towards her which she smiles right back at him. He quickly moves about the room while removing his armor and sword then changing into a clean sleeping kimono. He sat next to her and kissed her forehead lovingly. A blush spread on her cheeks from his tenderness towards her.

"How are you? How is our son?" He whispers softly towards her as he lightly rests his hand on his cub's head.

"We are fine. How are things within the estate? What happened?" She replied and questioned right back.

Sosuke frowned as he caressed his cub's head before looking up into her silver eyes with his emeralds. "Lord Sesshomaru and we generals had successfully captured the Eastern Lord. While Eiji and I were interrogating him, he laughed in our faces saying if we don't hurry we will lose our most cherished ones within the west. That's when the Tengu appeared and notified us of the attack within the estate. Come to find out that his last order before we capture him was for his last remaining armies to attack the west."

"Lord Daisuke and general Naoki informed us that they will keep the eastern lord imprisoned, so we can quickly return home. So, we quickly came home to our most cherished ones to protect. I couldn't stop thinking of you and our cub's safety. I know I was cutting it close to my promise on returning home for his arrival. What luck that our cub would pick today to be born?" He smiled down to his now sleeping cub in his mate's arms.

"When we arrived home and noticed the damage of the attack, my heart sped as I had to know about you and Lord Sesshomaru's family whereabouts. I noticed that Lord Sesshomaru was thinking the same thing, so we left Eiji to destroy the frontlines while we searched for you all." Sosuke's voice became slightly panicked as she knew he was reliving the events from earlier that day. She wanted to cheer him up, so she moved their son onto his arms which he slightly became nervous. A huge smile spread on the tiger demon's face as he stared down to his sleeping son's form in his arms. Yue smiled at her mate as she laid her head on his shoulder.

"Our son needs a name." Yue whispers to Sosuke softly as she lightly glides her index finger across her cub's forehead.

Sosuke looked at her in shock as he figured she would have named him by now. His heart swells with happiness as she was waiting on him to help her pick a suitable name for their cub. The first general's green eyes look back down to his son and notice he resembles a lot like his mate then himself. His cub mainly had only his eyes. He looked at his mate who smiled at him lovingly.

"Yuusuke… his name will be Yuusuke." Sosuke declared calmly which made Yue giggle softly.

"Yuusuke… I love it. It will suit him well." Yue spoke softly as she didn't want to wake their son. Sosuke nodded his head before capturing his mate's lips. A blush spread across Yue's cheeks at the sudden kiss from him, but she gave in and kissed him back with all the love she had for the male tiger.

Tetsu sat up in a tree branch with his legs swinging back and forth. His twin sister, Tsuki, sitting next to him with her whole right arm bandaged up along with bandages appearing out the left side of her waist. She sat next to him sharpening one of her kunais. He tried begging her to rest off her wounds from yesterday's attack on the western estate, but her being a stubborn female she was… she had refused. The young male viper demon tsk as he glared his hazel greenish brown eyes at his twin.

"You need to go rest or I'm having Master Eiji drag you off to do so." He threatened Tsuki. Her eyes that resemble his glare right back at him.

"I already told you I am fine. I do not need to rest." She hissed at him before going back to sharpening her knife.

Tetsu's glare darkens then he grinned evilly before he looked towards the estate that they faced. "I am sure glad that Master Sosuke welcomed a new son heir for himself. When are you going to provide one for Master Eiji?"

Tsuki stops herself from falling off the branch from her brother's sudden question. Her cheeks turned a dark shade of red as she hissed towards her twin. "Master Eiji and I relationship is not like that and you know that. Stop speaking nonsense, Tetsu."

Tetsu's grin turned more deadly when he noticed his sister's behavior. "I don't know anymore. Master Eiji completely went berserk when he saw your death that not even Master Sosuke could stop him. He wasn't too pleased either when he learned of your injuries yesterday. No male will react like he does for just any female."

Tsuki blush grew upon her face as her ears were bright from her brother's words. She tsks as she quickly places the point of her sharp kunai to her brother's throat. "Would you quit it, Tetsu? Master Eiji doesn't view me in that light and… neither do I. Stop spreading rumors and lies."

Tetsu laughed out loud towards his sister as his teasing really upset her. They both flinched when they heard a throat cleared below them. They both glance below them as the chameleon demon they spoke up was leaning on the tree they sat in. His black eyes glare up towards them, but mainly towards Tsuki.

"Tsuki, aren't you injured? Shouldn't you be in your room resting?" His deep voice questioned the female serpent who flinched again from his words.

"I am perfectly fine, Master Eiji. My wounds are practically healed." Tsuki spoke down to him. Tetsu fake cough with the word bullshit during it. His twin glared at him to get him to shut up.

"I completely doubt your wounds are healed. You jump in the way of an explosion to stop its target on the side of the estate where Lady Kaya and pups were residing. You even fought with your serious wounds after the explosion. You were given a second life from our gracious lord and how I see it… and I bet Tetsu sees it too… you are not taking care of that second life." Eiji growled up to her as his black eyes darken more than normal.

Tsuki knows she is nowhere near the same rank as the western generals, but she didn't care at the moment when she glared down to the second below them. "I am extremely grateful for my second life, but I still have to do my job for the west. My life belongs to Lord Sesshomaru and Lady Kaya along with the heirs and their generals within the estate. I will give up this second life to my lords if knowing they will live the next day. So, when I say my wounds are fine… that means I am fine to keep doing my job."

The female viper demon crossed her arms in anger as she closed her eyes to try to calm herself down. Tetsu shook his head at his sister's stubbornness and already knew that the chameleon general wasn't going to let her win this argument. Before Tetsu could warn his sister or for her to notice his approach upon her form, Eiji jumped up onto the branch next to Tsuki and picked her up and placed her over his right shoulder. She released a loud shock gasp before requesting for the general to put her down. The chameleon grinned at her twin brother who just shook his head again and shrugged his shoulders towards him.

"I make sure to lock her in a room and tire her out enough so she could rest off her wounds." The second general announced which caused Tsuki to stop struggling while her face turned bright red. Tetsu burst out in laughter as he tried to keep himself from not laughing out the tree.

"Master Eiji, I do not appreciate that joke! Now my brother will think wrong thoughts about our relationship." Tsuki yelled at the general as the blush still covered her face.

"Who said I was joking. Tetsu is a grown man and he can think whatever he pleases." Eiji notified her before jumping out the tree and walking towards the west wing of the estate.

The male viper demon watched his twin sister be carried away by the second general of the western armies while yelling her demands to be placed down and swearing she was fine enough to perform her job. He also heard her hissing at him to stop joking and teasing her about taking her to bed. Tetsu knew that when it came to his sister that Eiji never joked or teased her like he did with the other females within the western estate. He knew the Chameleon demon had a very special spot in his heart for his sister, but Tsuki being his well-known stubborn sister she let that stubbornness blind her of Eiji true intent for her. Tetsu knew the very moment that the second general lost all reality of the world around him when Tsuki was slayed in front of him that the chameleon demon cared deeply for Tsuki. Tsuki would always fool herself of her own feelings for Eiji as she would express to Tetsu that she respects the second general fighting style deeply.
