All Hallows Eve – 1670

The young Immortal Eva Sibley led the way through the forest to the clearing where the Infinity Altar stood. There were several young women behind her to aid Eva in the preparations for the Spell. They needed assistance of those stronger than they in order to save the future of magic for generations to come.

Eva handed the bag of supplies to one of the women when she saw the approach of her mortal ally. "I shall return shortly." The woman bowed her head in reply and took the bag from Eva.

Sebastian walked on foot through the clearing in order to meet with Eva and give the update. When they met each other halfway, he looked back towards the Altar and asked, "Is their arrival soon?"

"If things happen as they should, yes." Eva rubbed her hands a bit nervously. "I fear that without my magic our plea for help will not be strong enough to bring the three Witches to us."

"Does your Trinity not understand how important this is? How can they still refuse to return your power knowing the future of Magic is at stake?" Sebastian did not understand this at all.

"It is the way of our Coven. When one teaches the potentials there can be no bias. The power needs to come from the core." Even though Eva explained all of this and knew the importance of it, she wished it was different. She wished the Trinity would make one exception so she could do what needed to be done, but after the Coven War she was put in charge of the Potentials.

"And what of your Protector? Will he not help?" Sebastian knew all about Eva's assigned Whitelighter.

"He is not permitted to. This is not an Infinity Coven matter." Eva cleared her thought slightly before asking, "How is my dear friend?"

Sebastian took the cue to not ask any more questions. "Charlotte is doing as well as she can in her circumstance. Your mother is, surprisingly enough, treating her well."

Eva spit at the mention of her mother. "Lena is only treating Charlotte well because Charlotte has something she wants. Lena intends to raise that baby evil and we cannot allow that to happen."

Sebastian could tell Eva was getting fired up over this conversation and changed it slightly. "There is more. My brother Micah says there is going to be another hunt in the area within the next hour. You and your Potentials need to do what needs to be quickly."

Eva placed her hand on Sebastian's shoulder. "Thank you for everything, Sebastian. And where is my brother? Is he still lingering around the settlement?"

Sebastian nodded at that. "He is still a cat a well. The villagers are starting to suspect him."

"If he could manage to figure out how to return to mortal form then he could be of use." Eva sighed heavily. "He is still so young, much younger than I. Perhaps when he turns older than a mere twenty one years of age he will learn something."

When Eva turned to leave, Sebastian almost let her but he had an idea. "What if you added your blood to the spell to summon the Witches?"

Eva paused and turned around because she was intrigued by the suggestion. "Explain."

"Could you borrow their power, perhaps? You could use your blood as a link to the future Sibley and it would use their magic to allow the Witches to arrive here?" Sebastian wasn't sure if he was making any sense of not, but it was worth a suggestion.

Eva's eyes widened slightly because she hadn't considered it before but it was something she could absolutely do. "Sebastian, you are brilliant."

Sebastian chuckled at that and bowed his head slightly. "You are too kind. Now be quick, the hunters will be making their rounds within the hour. If I find your Witches, I will make sure they are safe for your retrieval."

Eva crossed her hands over her chest and bowed her head. "Thank you, Sebastian. Blessed be."

When Sebastian returned to the village, he was instantly taken aside by his older brother Micah. Micah was not happy with Sebastian in the slightest and scolded him because of it. "Where have you been, Sebastian? You are lucky your lack of presence wasn't noticed."

"You know quite well where I was, brother. They needed to be warned." Sebastian spoke in hushed tones just like his brother had.

Micah waited for one of the hunters to pass before resuming the conversation. "I understand this, brother, but you should have told me first. I am willing to do whatever it takes to help them, just as you."

"Then why can't we rescue her?" Sebastian wanted to know. "We can help them save Charlotte."

Micah couldn't believe they were having this conversation yet again. As much as Micah he and Sebastian were capable of doing such a thing he was not going to attempt something in which he knew would result in their deaths. Hypocritical as that may be since if he was ever discovered of having helped the Witches it would result in his death, but that was just a possibility not a guarantee. "We are no match for Lena and you know this. That woman has Magics you cannot even imagine. Now get this idea out of your head before you end up getting yourself killed."

Sebastian straightened his posture a bit as he looked Micah in the eye. "You are such a coward that you won't even try? We are here and Charlotte is right inside that house. We are capable of doing more."

Micah knew Sebastian was going to go against his wishes if he didn't do something so he made a form of compromise. "When they make their move then we will assist, but until then we will continue to do what we are doing. Do you understand me?"

Sebastian accepted the terms of his brother's compromise. "Alright. I will wait for them."

Their conversation was interrupted when the leader of the hunters called out for them to get a move on because it was time to patrol. Since there was nothing else to be said between the brothers, Sebastian and Micah joined them without delay.

If Eva and her Witches were anywhere in the clearing or the nearby forest then they were hiding quite well because they were nowhere to be seen. Who they did see, however, was a group of four women standing near the Altar. Three of the women were dressed in very elaborate clothing but the third was dressed more appropriately for the time. Seeing these women kicked the hunting group into gear and they charged towards the women who were running away screaming.

Sebastian would have sworn one of the women was Eva and he couldn't believe she didn't get them out of there as soon as possible. The hunting party saw the Witches go into the trees but it was Sebastian who found them behind a group of thick bushes. His voice was hushed yet urgent as he spoke to them. "What are you still doing here, Eva? I warned you the hunters would be arriving soon."

Sebastian was confused when the women he would have sworn was Eva looked at him in shocked disbelief and called him 'Bash'. He didn't have time to question her because Micah had joined them.

Micah, too, thought the young woman was Eva and addressed her as so. "Stay here until we are gone." The leader of the hunting party called out to him and Sebastian to ask if they found anything, and he answered back with, "There is no one! Ride on!"

Sebastian looked at 'Eva' one more time because there was something different about her. Perhaps this wasn't Eva after all…

Eva Sibley and her Potentials were well hidden within the brush and watched the arrival of the Witches they had cast the spell for. The three oddly dressed ones were to be expected, but when Eva saw a young woman who looked almost identical to herself, she was not. It took everything Eva had not to go out into the clearing and figure out who that young woman was and how she managed to be summoned as well, but she had to bide her time and pray that Sebastian and Micah would keep their word and not allow them to be captured.

The moments that passed as the hunting party searched felt like an eternity but finally they were free to leave their hiding place and approach the Witches. Eva and the Potentials all had some powder in their hands that they blew onto the Witches to disorientate them. The powder wouldn't make them sleep but would allow for them to be brought to the cave without them remembering where it was.

The Potentials didn't stop whispering how much the fourth Witch resembled Eva. There was concern that the fourth Witch was a trick from Lena and finally Eva put an end to that. "The doorway will tell us if any are evil or not. Remember, sisters, I used my blood in the spell to link the past and the future together to bring them here. The fourth is clearly a Sibley Witch so if nothing else, she could very well be my daughter from the future." Eva stopped at the cave's entrance and cupped the fourth's face and lifted the Infinity Pendant from around her neck to find it was the exact same one that hung around her own. "I would not give this to merely anyone."

The Potentials accepted that explanation and led the four of them into the cave with no alert from the enchanted doorway. Once the four were lined up, another powder was blown into their faces to counter the effects from the first. Now that the Witches were 'awake' and coherent, it was time to get down to business.

Eva crossed her hands across her chest and bowed her head. "Blessed be and welcome. Please forgive us for the manner in which you were brought here. We had to ensure that you were the Witches we sent for." She gestured to the cave's entrance. "This doorway would have alerted if any of you were evil." Eva then went over to the fourth and bowed her head again. "Welcome, young Immortal Sibley. Your presence is welcomed, though surprising."

The Witch in bright pink spoke first by asking, "Who do you think we are, exactly?"

Eva answered without delay. "The most powerful good Witches of all time. The Witches who travelled through time and space to tip the scales and grant us victory in the Coven War." None of the four could counter her words because they were correct. And since there was only silence, Eva continued, "We – I – need your help again."

"Not the Infinity Coven?" the young Immortal Sibley asked her.

"No, this is of no concern of the Coven. This is a matter of great importance for good magic, but not the Coven." Eva realized that she hadn't made any introductions as if yet and rectified that. "Before I explain, allow me to introduce myself. I am Eva Sibley – midwife, Immortal Witch, and free person of the colony of Virginia. What might your names be?"

The Witch who shimmered introduced them all. "I'm Prue. These are my sisters Piper and Phoebe, and our sister adjacent, Mara. Now what is going on?"

Eva thought the terminology was a bit odd but she didn't address it. Instead she returned to the matter at hand. "We need your help to save a magical baby that was prophesied to be born on this night. After the War, my mother Lena Sibley went into hiding and only recently emerged to kidnap the baby's mother, Charlotte, with the intent to raise the child evil. If that happens then good Magic will never flourish in the new world. We cannot let this happen."

"Why can't you save her?" Piper asked because it didn't make any sense. "Or anyone else in your coven here?"

"These women, while they are capable of becoming Witches are just learning the craft. They are Potentials who, after training, may be Blooded into the Families of the Infinity Coven. Until that time they have no active powers. After the War, when I was put in lead of the Potentials, my active powers were bound as well. We are limited as to what we can do to save Charlotte."

"And Felix?" Phoebe hadn't seen any sign of him yet. "Can he not help?"

Eva smiled at her question. "You remember my dear brother? He will be pleased. Alas, no, he is presently of no great help to us. He is still quite young and is learning to control his abilities. Until he can, he is, well, a cat for the near future. I hope by the time he turns twenty-two years of age he will have figured out how to change back." Her brow raised a bit at how all their eyes seemed to widen at once, but she didn't question them about it. Instead she gestured for the women to bring clothes over for the Sisters since Mara was already appropriately dressed. "Here, please take these. You must appear to belong in this time." She looked at their attire in awe. "Witches in your time must not have to hide, or is your clothing a symbol of status?" Eva was wondering why Mara had dressed far different from those she was Adjacent to.

"No, uh, I was just lucky." Mara looked as if she wanted to elaborate but couldn't. "What year is this exactly?"

"1670, and what is your year?" Eva couldn't get over how odd it was to speak with someone who practically shared her face.

"2000," Piper answered as she accepted the clothes.

"Fascinating. Now if you would kindly change and then I will tell all you need to know in order to save Charlotte." Eva left the four Witches to take care of what they needed to and went over to the table at the far end of the cave. She began preparing a sleeping powder for the Sisters to use on the guards around Lena's home when an all too familiar and unwanted person Orbed in beside her. "You have no purpose here, Lincoln."

"I was asked to check in. It seems the spell you cast cause quite a disturbance." Lincoln turned towards the group of women and all but froze when he saw the young Immortal standing there. "By the Goddess, if I knew nothing better I would have believed she was you."

"I believe she is my daughter," Eva admitted as she touched her pendant. "I vowed I would give this to my child if ever I had one and this hangs around her neck."

"I wonder who her father might be." Lincoln looked to Eva and moved a little closer to her. "Could it be me, perhaps?"

"No," Eva answered. "You most certainly are not." Of course she had no idea because she wasn't going to ask, but there was no way she would have been with Lincoln in such a way. He bothered her to no end. "Now will you please leave since you have no purpose here. You will simply distract me."

Lincoln bowed his head. "As you wish, Eva." And with that, he Orbed away without another word.

Eva was glad for this and finished the powder to return to Mara and the Sisters. "Come, I shall explain more and pray the power of All Hallows Eve will aid us."

On the way to Lena's small village, Eva explained how Charlotte was a dear friend of hers even before the prophecy was declared that she would give birth to a magical child on that night. She explained the importance of All Hallows Eve and how the source of all Magic could be accessed, at least she explained it to the Sisters. Eva found herself filled with pride when Mara added in her own knowledge of the day. It pleased her to know the Magic of the old ways were not lost to the future generations. At least where the Sibley Witches were concerned.

When they reached the outer edge of the village, Eva went on to explain how they had two allies in the village who were pretending to side with the Witch hunters – Micah and Sebastian – and how they were the ones that found them in the forest. She assured them those men could be trusted utterly and completely and if they needed anything while within the village to go to them as long as they were not harmed in the process.

Now it was time for more present information. Eva looked around at all the villagers preparing for a festival which made her explain, "Lena is doing this pretending to mock All Hallows Eve, but it's really a way to tap into the darker side of magic." She then gestured to the talismans hanging from the trees near Lena's house. "Beware the talismans. They have stopped us each time we tried to save Charlotte."

Mara and the Sisters didn't seem fazed but this information. But it was Phoebe who stated, "Those don't really pack a punch where we come from." They were all about to take a step forward when Feline Felix jumped in front of them and hissed in warning.

"Step aside Felix," Prue said to him. "We've got this." Only they so didn't because as soon as they tried to pass under the talismans they were hit with a type of forcefield and were all thrown back.

"What the hell was that?!" Mara couldn't believe they had just gotten thrown on their asses by a few talismans. "There is no way they should have that much power."

"That is what I was trying to tell you," Eva explained. "Somehow Lena has accessed Magic to make them so much stronger." She had to say this quickly because their cover had been blown and now the Witch hunters had been alerted.

"Hunters!" Mara shouted and Prue tried to use her Power to throw them away but it didn't work, Piper tried to freeze them but it was the same with her. Mara and the others shrieked when guns were fired at them and now it was her turn to step up. She was ready to push them all away but her Power wasn't working either. "What the hell?!"

"What has happened to your Powers?!" Eva practically screeched at them then cried out in pain when one of the musket balls caught her in the arm.

"Mom!" Mara reacted without thinking and quickly rushed away with her and the Sisters as fast as they possibly could.

Meanwhile, Lena Sibley was watching all this unfold from the upstairs window of her home. Her Sibley Blue eyes moved away from the window to the bed where Charlotte laid as she told her of the present events. "My darling daughter has brought others to try and rescue you again. But they failed, of course. They always do."

Charlotte tried to sit up and groaned in pain, causing Lena to move over to her and place a hand upon her head.

"Hush now, Charlotte. We would not want anything happening to your baby, now would we?" Lena placed a hand upon Charlotte's stomach. "They will be Blooded a Sibley and will take back all that has been taken from me."

"I will not let you have my baby!" Charlotte seethed at her.

"Oh, sweet Charlotte, you do not have choice." Lena grinned a bit wickedly before leaving the room to join her other guest – one who had arrived just recently.

Lena went down to the parlor where her guest awaited and informed him of the latest news. "Charlotte is very close. She should give birth by nightfall. But I must ask, why do you care what happens here?" She walked around the room and slid her hand across the backs of the furniture as she did. "Why did you imbue the talismans with even more power that not even a Witch of my bloodline could cross it. What do you have to gain?"

Cole Turner turned away from the window to face her. "I have come from the future to change it." He moved closer to Lena and his face grew hard as he made himself clear. "But if you want that child all to yourself then neither Eva or Mara Sibley will be harmed."

Lena tilted her head to the side a bit with a gleam in her eye. "Of course I would not bring True Death to Eva, but I do not know of such a Sibley as Mara." When Cole's hand shot out to her throat and squeezed, Lena laughed, "Oh, do you mean the Witch with my dear Eva? I had assumed Eva summoned herself from the past to aid in the present. But if that is not the case then I will tell the hunters that no True Death or harm will come to her." Lena placed her hand upon her throat when Cole released his grip and asked him curiously, "But why? Why is this particular Sibley so important to you?"

"That is none of your concern." Cole made himself abundantly clear. "Just know if you go against your word, I will bring the True Death upon you myself."

Back at Eva's cave, Mara and the Sisters felt horrible about what happened. As Piper tended to Eva's wound, Prue was the first to say, "Eva, I'm sorry. We didn't know our Powers didn't work."

Phoebe added in, "I mean, we should have assumed since they didn't work during the War either."

"But Mara's did," Piper pointed out. "So why didn't they work now?"

"Because her powers do not exist at this point in time," Eva explained, not believing she hadn't thought of it before. "My powers are bound and I used my blood to create the link for the spell. For as long as Mara is here, her active Powers are of no use." She shook her head in disbelief and regret. "Just leave us."

"No," Mara firmly interjected. "We are not going to leave. We should have – I should have been paying more attention. We can't save Charlotte using our Magic from our time, the rules are different here. We need to go back to the basics." Mara looked at the Sisters. "We're all magical. Even if we can't access our Powers, we are still Magic. We just have to access it a different way. An older way. The old ways." Mara turned back to Eva. "Do you have dolls, or – what are they called – totems? And – and apples. And a broom?"

The Sisters looked at each other in question but none of them interrupted Mara.

Eva stood up, adjusted her bandage, and went over to Mara. She cupped Mara's face in her hands and looked her right in the eyes. "If I never say this in the future, allow me to say this now. I am so, proud of you."

In that moment, Feline Felix ran into the cave and he suddenly turned back into a mortal so he almost tripped but managed to catch himself. Felix was surprised and he kept checking to make sure his entire body was indeed human before sighing in relief. "Thank the Goddess."

"Welcome back, brother. We have guests, as you can see. Try not to be too distracting." Eva went off to get the totems for Mara and the Sisters to begin their quick training session.

Felix went over to Phoebe and Prue, crossed his arm across his chest and bowed. "Blessed be. I owe you both many thanks for saving my life." When he raised himself, he looked at Prue and smiled but when he smiled at Phoebe, it was entirely different.

"Felix," Eva said in a scolding manner and shooed him aside so she could hand out the totems. "Go and do not turn into a cat until further notice."

Felix bowed his head towards Phoebe with another smile, "Until later."

Eva shook her head at how enamored her brother was presently and how Phoebe started to giggle. "Here," she handed each of them a doll totem.

"What are these for?" Piper asked as she twirled the doll.

"They are to remind us of our wisdom and power as women," Mara answered. "It holds the collected wisdom of Witches gathered over the years."

"You are correct, Mara. Come." Eva led the four over to the table and sliced an apple in half. "Wisdom gives us power. Power frightens the fearful and the ignorant."

"Well, that would explain why in our time Witches are made to look silly on Halloween," Prue pointed out.

Eva set down the knife and shook her head slightly. "And this knowledge, this magic is forgotten?"

"We can get it back if you teach us," Phoebe looked back to Mara and added in, "All of us."

"Mara, do you know of the conical hat?" When Mara shook her head, Eva picked it up and explained. "The conical hat is a spiritual point." She placed the hat upon Phoebe's head. "It helps to channel our Magic. Keeps us centered, focused." Eva picked up the apple halves she just sliced. "The apple holds a pentacle in its heart. Add a laurel leaf, you will block the path of evil."

"There really is Magic all around us, isn't there? That's not just something you say, is it?" Mara spoke as if she already knew the answer.

Eva nodded with a smile again. "That is very true, especially on this night. On this night even items with the slightest bit of power is increased."

Mara went over to the masks and picked them up. "These are to hide our identities so we may walk among the Demons and remain hidden." She then pointed to the broom. "And the broom sweeps away evil by going East to West."

"That's right," Felix interjected as he brought a broom over to Phoebe. "Like with all things in Magic, its how you do it, with knowledge and reverence." He placed Phoebe's hands where they were meant to be and stepped back when Eva cleared her throat to indicate he needed to take a step back.

Phoebe chuckled a bit as she started to sweep as directed and suddenly felt a surge of power. "Whoa, there must have been a spark."

"No," Felix countered, "you felt the power."

"You must open yourself up to the power of this day. As Mara and I have said, it is all around us." Eva gestured to the bag near Felix and stated, "Felix and I will return to the village with you and give you the rest of what you will need."

"Are you certain that the number of Sibleys present will not alert our dear mother?" Felix may have said 'dear' but he certainly did not mean it.

"You know as well as I if we manage to make it into her village she will be far too intrigued to see what we will try to do and not act upon it." Eva looked at Mara and the Sisters. "Are you ready?"

"We're ready," Prue assured them and looked between Felix and Eva when she said, "You've trained us well."

After the failed attempt from earlier that day, Sebastian had been on the lookout for them to return and try again. Not long after the festival had begun, he spotted them in various locations throughout. It seemed they had split up as to not draw attention to themselves, which was smart. Sebastian was ready to help them however they needed, but first he wanted to find someone – the one who he thought was Eva but after seeing them both together earlier that day he knew they were not.

Sebastian found Eva first and she directed him towards Mara who, it appeared, was getting her fortune told. "Getting a glimpse into your future?" he asked he as he approached.

Mara, even with his mask, could tell this was Bash. "I am quite familiar with my future."

"Then how about a glimpse at the name of your love?" the man suggested as he gestured to the barrel of water in front of him as he held out an apple. "With something as simple as an apple peel."

Sebastian looked at Mara curiously to see what she would decide.

Mara was quiet for a moment before asking, "What do I do?"

The villager started to peel the apple as he explained. "First you must fill your heart with only thoughts of love. The close your eyes and blow on the peel." He held the peel out in front of her and when she blew, he dropped it into the water. "Drop the peel into the water and watch."

"And how does this apple know this big secret?" Mara asked the villager, but it was Sebastian who answered.

"The apple is the fruit of knowledge," Sebastian smiled then turned his attention to the village who told them what the letter was.

The villager looked down into the water and declared, "Your love's name starts with a 'J'."

Mara's eyes shot open as she looked to the water just before it started to change shape.

The villager saw this as well. "It is changing. Now…it is an 'S'."

Sebastian looked at Mara to see what her reaction was but found her eyes looking right back at him. He couldn't explain what he felt in that moment but he was drawn to her.

"Excuse me," Mara asked of them before she took off towards the Sisters.

Sebastian was about to follow but the villager had one more thing to say.

"It has changed again, sir, to a 'C'. Do tell the lady she will have three loves in her life. Very lucky, but also heartbreaking."

Sebastian bowed his head in thanks before moving away to catch up with the others.

Meanwhile, Eva was doing her best to make sure she stayed out of her mother's line of sight but in doing so she accidentally walked into a man. "My apologies, sir."

"No harm, you are forgiven." Cole smiled at Eva and looked around the festival. "Are you enjoying the festivities."

"Indeed, sir." As much as she found herself wanting to speak more to this stranger, Lena was coming towards them so she had to make herself scarce. But before she could make her excuse to leave, she saw Lena point towards the Sisters declaring they were Witches. "No…"

Eva made no excuse and went straight towards Mara who she saw was trying to get through the crowd to the Sisters. "Do not make yourself known, Mara."

"They're going to hang!" Mara made it clear she wasn't going to let that happen.

Eva spoke quietly as she vowed, "Micah and Sebastian will ensure that while they hang, they will not die. Now go, you must use this distraction to rescue Charlotte." Eva could see that Mara believed and trusted her words but there was also concern in them.

"What are you going to do?" Mara asked Eva.

Eva looked towards Lena and removed her mask. "I am going to make sure that wretch stays distracted. Now go!" Eva didn't move from that spot until Mara had gone off to do what she was told. How exactly she was going to keep Lena distracted, she didn't know, but she had to do something even if it was something she was going to regret.

Mara used her lessons and swept away – quite literally – the evil talismans to clear the path to the house and get to Charlotte. She couldn't think about anything else right now. She had to finish what was started.

Mara entered Charlotte's bedroom and was about to speak but Charlotte beat her to it.

"Eva, you're here," Charlotte groaned in pain at the next contraction.

"Close enough," Mara muttered to herself before getting over to Charlotte. "Come on, we have to get out of here." She was about to help Charlotte up when suddenly there was screaming outside.

Mara went straight to the window to get a look and her jaw quite literally dropped when she saw the Demon Woman terrorizing the village. At least, that's what it looked like. Whatever the Demon Woman was doing, she was leading the Witch Hunters away. "How the hell does she always pop up like that?"

Mara wasn't going to have time to get her answer because Charlotte cried out again just as he water broke. "Oh crap."

Felix darted into the room at that moment to say, "The Demoness is dealing with the hunters. We must leave now." He went over to Charlotte and scooped her up into his arms.

"It is nice to see you are no longer a cat," Charlotte was able to chuckle for a moment before another contraction hit.

"I am never going to forget this, am I?" Felix didn't expect an answer as he carried Charlotte out of the room with Mara right behind him.

"What about the Sisters? Do you know if they are alright?" Mara needed to know that they were alright.

"Both Sebastian and Micah were with the hunters that took them. The Sisters will not be killed." Felix believed that with every fiber of his being.

Mara needed the reassurance and was grateful for it as the three of them managed to sneak out of the village.

By the time they got as far as the Altar in the clearing night had fallen and Charlotte could go on no further. Felix stopped there when he saw the Sisters approach. He waited for Mara and them to have their quick reunion before setting Charlotte down to her feet long enough for him to remove his coat so she could lay down upon it. "Eva will be here soon, Charlotte."

"What?" Charlotte gasped as she looked at Mara. "She is not Eva?"

"No," Eva answered with a defeated looking Sebastian in tow. "She is my daughter from the future. It is complicated, my friend."

"Time travel is a finicky thing," Phoebe stated before getting things ready for the protective circle because they could hear the Witch hunters coming in the distance.

Mara went over to Sebastian and placed her hand upon his arm in a comforting manner. "Bash? What happened?"

Sebastian turned to look at her and said, "Lena found out Micah and I were helping you and the Sisters. She killed him and was going to kill me too but Eva got to me before she could." He placed his hand over hers. "It was very kind of you to ask. You must have a very sweet heart."

Their moment was interrupted when the Sisters managed to get the protective up around them and just in time to because the Witch hunters were now upon them.

Felix, who was helping Eva with Charlotte, pointed out something he believed would help. "If there was a time for the Demoness to make an appearance, now would be the time."

Eva didn't respond to that because she was too busy dropping down because of the bullets being fired at them. "Fear not, Charlotte. They have truly connected."

Mara went over to the Altar to grab more apples to add to the protective circle and gasped when a hunter appeared right in front of her on the other side of the circle and fired. Only he didn't hit Mara, but Sebastian. "Bash!" Mara cried out as she helped Bash to the ground. She pressed her hands onto the wound in his chest to try and stop the bleeding. "You're going to be alright, Bash. Do you hear me? You are going to be alright."

Sebastian knew that he wouldn't be but didn't want that to change her. "It's alright, Mara. Do not – do not let this change your sweet heart." His voice was weak when he spoke and breathing shallow, but he managing to get those final words out before the life left his eyes.

Mara's hands shook as she took looked down at the blood upon them. Despite knowing that Bash would become a Whitelighter and when she returned home he would be alright, but that didn't stop her rage in that moment. A rage that made her eyes turn pitch black and cause black markings too appear all over her body. She stood up and began to conjure the blue fire-energy balls but stopped when she heard cackling from behind her.

Mara turned around and saw Phoebe wearing a conical hat and riding on a broomstick. She was quite literally riding on a broomstick towards the hunters to scare them all away before taking off towards the sky. Seeing this gave Mara the chance to calm her anger and return back to normal.

Felix interrupted Eva's delivery of Charlotte's baby long enough to say, "I know that I asked for the Demoness, but that was not what I meant."

Eva looked up to the sky to center herself and saw Phoebe fly across the moon before turning back to Charlotte for one final push so she could finally bring her baby into the world.

Meanwhile, Lena was watching all this unfold with Cole at her side and her own anger raged through her veins. "If I had killed them, the child would be mine. You will pay for this, time traveler."

Cole threw a potion upon the ground that opened a portal there as he said, "I am not afraid of you, Lena Sibley. I never have been." With that said, he stepped into the portal and disappeared.

Lena was about to make her move right then but stopped when a gloved hand shot out to stop her. She turned around, prepared to use lethal action but paused to see the Triskelion pendant hanging from around their neck. She gasped at the sight of this, "You survived?"

The hooded being nodded before replying, "In a way. Time travel is a finicky thing."

Back at the cave while the Sisters were helping Charlotte, Mara was standing beside Lincoln as the Potentials prepared Sebastian's body for burial. "What happens now?" she asked Lincoln.

Lincoln was confused by her question. "What do you mean?"

Mara looked at him directly as she clarified what she wanted to know. "Will Sebastian become a Whitelighter now?"

Lincoln still did not understand her. "I do not believe Sebastian was meant to become a Whitelighter."

Mara obviously wasn't going to stand for that. "No. Sebastian earn it. He has helped Witches, he sacrificed himself to save my life even though he knew I was an Immortal because that is the kind of person he is. He doesn't want anyone to feel even an ounce of pain if he can help it. Sebastian is not going to be punished for that, do you hear me? You will do whatever you have to do to make him Whitelighter!"

Eva joined them at that moment. She walked up behind Mara and placed her hands upon her shoulders as she looked directly at Lincoln. "I believe she is asking you to claim him, Lincoln. You do not have an apprentice so you have no excuse. You are able to ensure Sebastian becomes a Protector."

Lincoln looked between Mara and Eva and was going to refuse but there was something in both their eyes that made him give in. "As you wish." With those words said, he placed his hand upon Sebastian's body and Orbed away with him.

Mara closed her eyes and let out a breath of relief and whispered, "Thank you." She cleared her throat and squeezed Eva's hand before joining the Sisters and Charlotte. "Not that I'm not enjoying this trip to the past, but when are we going home?"

Prue wrapped her arm around Mara, "We were just discussing that. Perhaps we haven't learned everything we need to."

Charlotte cradled her baby girl in her hands and made a vow. "I promise my daughter will know of you. The four Witches from the future who ensured her safe birth. You will be remembered for generations." She looked down at her baby and cooed, "Won't they, Melinda?"

Now that caught their attention. "Melinda?" Piper asked, thinking there was no way it could be one and the same.

"Yes," Charlotte confirmed. "Melinda Warren."

Suffice to say they were all surprised at that and Phoebe laughed lightly, "Uh – I think we're related."

On that note, a portal opened in the cave's entrance that pulled the Sisters and Mara right into it, leaving Eva and Felix with Charlotte all looking at one another. And all Eva could say to that was, "Time travel is a finicky thing."

Felix could not argue with that. "Indeed."
