The following is a bit of a take on Video Game Confessions which belongs to the comedic genius of Doug Walker of Channel Awesome. Ash Ketchum belongs to the Pokémon Company until he flipped them off. And to make this more fun to you the reader, I suggest putting on the theme from Video Game Confessions ( /watch?v=tCrrZ1NnCuM )
A/N: Episode 11 picks up after Ash and Senera, as we see the effect it had on the show and Misty
Anime Confessions – Misty
You're introduced to a young Saya-jin male of African descent about 5'9'' with a lean frame. His hair spiked and black with eyes of light gray. He wears a typical outfit of a bartender for a fancy restaurant.
"This is Ryo Nazo, a semi-retired Time Patroller. Ryo works in the seven-star restaurant known as the Tori Dragon Palace (which is two blocks away from the Pixel Palace). There, some of anime's most popular celebrities pop in to have a drink. Sometimes, they share stories, and even secrets. Because—as we all know—what the bartender hears is confidential... isn't it?"
Misty
So I was sitting there tending the bar and it walks in someone frantic, Misty Waterflower. She sits down completely panicked. So I get her an icy mojito and ask what the issue is.
"Disney owns our asses completely now." Misty said slowly downing her drink.
Patrons' jaws hit the ground and Dawn dropped the glass she was cleaning. Funny enough, Disney already has Star Wars, Yo-Kai Watch, and Marvel. And now they have Pokémon. Just great.
"What do you expect? Cartoon Network might have Steven Universe, but their incompetence with anime is coming back to bite them. I had to get up at six am just to watch it." I remarked dryly cleaning the glass.
"But that's not the problem, they own everything. Our reruns too!" Misty said sadly. "Any chance of me making any cash went down the toilet."
Apparently, Misty had stock in Cartoon Network and it went in flames. I mean come on, Cartoon Network kept feeding off those chibi nightmares they call "reboots". No wonder, Misty's broke.
"They aren't even rehiring any of us, they said it was cheaper to replace all of us!" Misty said tearing up.
"Well…it's Disney XD. So, you're screwed either way." I said sadly. "Disney may gain cash, but the viewership there is going down the shitter. Because you know why?"
"Because the subs are better." Misty said.
"Because of the subs." I said nodding in agreement.
Misty paid for her drink and left. Apparently, Sun and Moon is coming to Disney XD in 2017. I can't believe it, but I'm not surprised. Either way, the dubs for it suck no matter what network it's on. But at least it's not Dick…I mean Nick.
You see a lot of strange things as a bartender, see a lot strange things at the Tori Dragon. So, I see a lot of strange things as a bartender at the Tori Dragon, and that isn't no lie. Swear to it!
(A/N: Season 2 starts with Misty. I had to write this when I found this out recently. I have mixed feelings. 10/13/17 – Final Edit)
