Cupid is the God of Eros - she's the literal goddess of love. And yet sitting there alone in the castleteria with the acidic feeling in her stomach, all she wants to do is tear romance to shreds.

She hears that sickening giggle again from the table across.

"That's hilarious, Dex!" Raven says through her laughter. Cupid's already fisted hands scrunch themselves into even tighter balls.

Dexter chuckles awkwardly. "Thanks Raven." He brushes the witch's hair out of her eyes fondly. Cupid's eyes narrow. She usually loves such sweet gestures, but all she wants to do now is throw up.

Cupid sighs. Despite her aggressive demeanour, she can already feel the cracks in her heart widening. She knows she'll be crying herself to sleep tonight, but at least she's been getting better at muffling her sobs.

"Why can't I just get over him?" She mutters to herself as the guilt and self-blame starts to set it. "This is wrong of me. I'm not supposed to be jealous."

"Cupid?" A sweet, clear voice rings out.

"Apple!" Cupid looks up quickly, pasting a smile on her face. No one should see her falling apart.

Apple looked down nervously. "I couldn't help but hear what you were saying before." Cupid freezes, but Apple continues. "And I…might have an idea."
