Tom felt his heart drop when the Harry's mother came out of the room, in tears, and the words that past her lips falling silent to his ears. "Neither of them made it."

Tom suddenly lurched from the chair he was sitting in, his heart pounding in his ears. He then scowled at his father-in-law as he laughed at his expression. "You should not worry. He carried well. Better than my wife did."

"Then why is it taking so long?"

Godric smiled. "These things take time, Thomas. Just relax."

Tom huffed silently under his breath, before he pressed his back into the chair. Harry had gone into labor several hours before hand, and it was now currently much after the time they usually retired. It was the third time that Tom had fallen into a doze, only to be woken up by the same vision. Harry's mother was in the room with Healer Luna, both helping Harry deliver his first child should anything happen to either of them.

There was a loud noise coming from within the room, and suddenly Thomas was on his feet, pacing. He wanted to be within the room, but both females had kicked him out, sending him to Harrison's father who had calmed him down at the time. But like it had been said earlier. It had been hours. Tom was afraid that something had gone wrong. He had been told that while the Queen's birthing process had been easy, she had extreme difficulties carrying Harry, and it had been advised that she not have anymore children.

She had taken the advise to heart, and so Harrison was an only child.

The door opened up, and following the Queen came a sound that caused Tom to sigh in relief. The sound of an infant's cry. The Queen smiled at Thomas, saying, "He is asking for you." Before moving towards her husband. Tom was passed both of them, and inside their bedroom in seconds, moving first towards Harry's side.

Harry was tired, but was sitting upright, pillows piled up behind him. In his arms was a bundle of blankets and a hand was moving among the confines of which when Tom stepped forward. Harry's green eyes lifted to stare into Tom's for a moment before he looked back down as the baby fussed.

Tom moved in closer when Harry shifted the fabric away from the baby's face so Tom could see. The infant's eyes were closed, either sleeping soundly or just laying quietly Tom did not know.

Tom got fed up with leaning over the bed, and moved forward, shifting a few of the pillows away, and rearranging them so Harry could half lean on him and the pillows. Harry sighed, tucking his face into Tom's neck. Luna emerged from the shadows, holding her arms out expectantly, looking at Harry sternly. Harry sighed and sat up enough for the Healer to take the newborn away.

Turning, she tucked the child into the bassinet that had been added into the room. "Congratulations on having a healthy baby girl. I have arranged for two nannies to stay in the spare room over there," She pointed to the door. "And they will make sure you two get a good night's rest. I will be in tomorrow evening to check on her before the celebrations start." Luna nodded before leaving the room.

Tom turned towards his husband to ask him the question he wanted to ask burning on his mind, but seeing Harry was already asleep he let it be, merely moving to lay his beloved onto the bed and tucking him in. He did not join him, not yet. He was curious about his newborn daughter.

He slid into the chair that was next to the bassinet, and gently reached down to tug the blanket away from her face. His heart melted, and a feeling that he had only grown used to feeling around his parents and Harry reared up in his chest. He never actually wanted children, when he was younger, many other children had attempted to befriend him under the orders of their parents. They did not want anything to do with him, but followed their parent's orders. He'd only been able to tolerate Draco. But the older he got, he still did not like the noble's spawn.

Thus causing Tom to want nothing to do with children. Until now.

Thinking about the nobles of his home country, and Draco made him miss it. He had been brought along to keep him company, but the moment Draco had shown that he did not like the Gryffindor Prince, he had sent him home. He did not even know if his parents knew that Harry had been with child in the first place.

Making up his mind, he was going to talk to Godric and organize a party to leave at least for a little while to visit.

He was forced out of his thoughts when he heard Harry's thick voice. "Tom?" He stood up and moved back towards the bed. Bleary green eyes met his own dark ones. "Why are you not in bed?"

Tom smiled. "Looking at our daughter." He saw Harry's hand immediately go to his empty stomach, and a realization dawning inside the green eyes caused him to laugh softly at the look on his husband's face. "Sleep." He insisted, using his fingers to help slide his eye lids close. Harry did not fight him on it, merely going back to sleep as he had instructed. Tom pulled away to take off his everyday clothes and change into his evening wear before sliding under the covers with Harry.

~TimeSkip a few Years~

The Royal carriage wheeled through the front gates, the golden armored guards of the Kingdom flashing as their horses escorted the carriage through the streets. Crowds were gathered, and many were cheering in welcome to the guests.

Ginevra pushed her way forward, wanting to see the pair that exited the carriage. If any of the rumors were correct...her breath caught. There, standing tall was the newly named King Thomas. and by his side, with his arm linked with his husband's, Harrison. He was still as handsome as he had been when she was a teenager. Her lust flared, but she knew if she attempted anything it would not be good. She had learned her lesson, and even now was heavily invested with another man. But looking at Harry was enough to remind her why she had done it.

Her eyes widened in shock when the King and Consort were not the only ones to emerge from the carriage. There was a girl, young and pretty, from what she could see, dressed in a gorgeous gold and sliver dress.

Another woman appeared, an older woman, holding a bundle within her arms in which Harry had turned and fussed with, before murmuring something to the older woman, who nodded.

Harry's eyes scanned the crowd, and her heart near stopped when his eyes landed on her. His beautiful green eyes, she almost, almost gave him a flirty little smile, and a wink, but she did not. She forced herself to bow her head, and turn into the crowd and leave. It would do no good for anyone to see here there, they would think she was infatuated once more, and she couldn't have that.

~Switch~

Harry should not have been shocked at the sight of the servant girl. In truth, he had forgotten all about her but he recognized her right away. It was nice to see that she had grown up, and smiled at her, not that she seen. She had bowed her head and turned away.

Lillian snatched his attention with her tugging on his sleeve. The three year old did not like crowds, and wanted him. Harrison bent down to pull her into his arms as they made their way to the castle. They were there on business, but Harry had wanted nothing to do it, so whilst his husband was dealing with the King and Queen, he sat in the corner, dealing with both of his children. Apparently, something Harry was still pissed that no one told him, the Slytherin Kingdom had been at war for as near as long as he'd been alive. It had been the reason he had never met Tom before their wedding. His father had made it his personal duty that Harry never knew of it.

It was not a rather large war, in fact some did not even think it was worth the trouble that the other side was causing. Salazar had told Harrison that it had been over something trivial, and they have been at odds ever since. The opposing side was another kingdom, not as large as the four major kingdoms of the Hogwarts lands, but it did have it's numbers. It's King was had apparently an ancient man named Dumbledore and he had called his band of knights the 'Order of the Phoenix.' Tom had once told him that it was a disgrace to the mythical legends of the Fire creature, and rather call them the band of flaming chickens for how they acted.

For Tom had claimed they were too fearful to step out of their own manors to even attempt to fight this 'war' themselves and sent servants and sellswords most of the time whilst the Cunning King sacrificed his own willing men to protect his land.

So they were here on business for Thomas' father. Their boarders needed food and the Hufflepuff kingdom was the most able to help.

As Harrison played with his young daughter and tended to her brother when he fussed, Harry couldn't help but wonder. It was said that the lands in which Dumbledore was king of was indeed magical, claimed to be rich in fay and all sorts of creatures, even housing the infamous Forbidden Forest that many hear such stories of wonders and such. There were even some claiming that there were even people who could harness that magic, and wield it for themselves, and Dumbledore was one such man. But why continue the fruitless war? The Slytherins were not attempting to expand and even if King Salazar had, there was quite a bit of distance between the two boarders. Harry had seen the land, and it had much to be desired, just a vast open space with very few trees, empty of prey to hunt.

It simply baffled the Consort, and Harry disliked the feeling.

The door opened and Harry looked up, a smile gracing his lips when Tom walked through it, his dark eyes seeking out Harrys, after which they softened. He took a few steps forward before he was bombarded with a little dark-haired princess who wanted her father's attention. Tom smiled and hoisted his daughter up swirling her around causing her to burst into giggles. He gently set her back down on her feet, kneeling down at her level. "Have you started your lessons today?" He asked. Identical wide dark eyes stared back up at him. Lillian had taken on her father's features and eye color, but adapted her mother's wild black hair that swept pass her shoulders which swayed side to side as she shook her head. "Well then, you better get started. When you are finished we shall go horse back riding around the forest. His daughter squealed at the promise before bouncing over towards the tutor who had come with them.

Thomas watched Lillian as she settled down for the tutor, before he finally stepped in front of his husband. Harry pressed upwards, meeting Tom's lips as he had started to descend upon his lover. Their lips met softly, before Tom pulled away. It took the Consort a moment to realize that Tom had taken their son out of his arms, and before he could ask why, Tom had given him to the nanny and started to pull Harry along with him out of the room.

"We will be back in an hour." Harry had yet to get a word in edgewise, and was being gently led down the corridor.

Harry decided to allow Tom to lead him without asking any questions. They took several more twists and turns. Hufflepuff Castle was much more intricate than either of them had grown up in, so Harry had no clue as to where they were going, or even how he would return alone.

Finally they made it to a set of double doors, with two guards standing at attention. When both King and Consort stepped closer, the men moved and opened the doors for them. Revealing a courtyard garden with a decent sized statue of a badger, made of white stone with water spouting from the base it stood upon. The water collected into the large basin below it, in which Harry didn't know where the water went after that. Around the fountain were dozens and dozens of flowers, most in varying shades of yellow and gold.

Harry couldn't hold the gasp of surprise when he stepped through the door. He reached out a hand to trail his fingertips over the tops of the flowers as Tom pulled him to a bench. Harry leaned against Tom, shifting so he could watch the water tickling down the fountain.

"We'll stay here for a few days, then I need to escort the Carriage to Father's lands. There he will have an entourage waiting to take it to where it's needed." Harry nodded, pressing further into Tom's embrace, savoring the moment alone with his husband before they spent time with their daughter.

I am so fucking sorry that this has taken so bloody long to get out, especially at the length it is at. I wanted a few more paragraphs before I ended it, but I just couldn't. Writers Block hit me so hard with this last chapter that I could barely read through it to make sure I got any mistakes, I was finally able to throw on a few more words to make the last sentence make sense. I apologize for making you all wait for this, and that it isn't very long, but I hoped you liked this story
