A midsummer thunderstorm came up, one afternoon. It rained very heavily.

Morticia looked out the window of her bedroom and smiled. Then she quickly took her shoes and socks off.

Barefooted—her feet hidden under her long dress—she went downstairs. The butler was in the hallway.

"I'm going out for a little walk, Lurch."

"Ohhhh!"

She walked out the front door. So heavy was it raining that she became soaked in just a few seconds! She took a left and walked up the street. There were few cars and no people about.

A mud puddle had formed in the grass. Seeing this, she lifter the hem of her dress and walked into the puddle. Then she girlishly stomped her feet in the mud, for a few seconds. Afterwards, she got out again.

A small park was nearby. It had a circular fountain in the middle of it. She walked into the park and got in this fountain. She waded around the side, then stood in the middle, where the water cascaded down. After a few seconds, she got out and began walking home.

The butler was at the front door, towel in hand. She took it and smiled. "Thank you, Lurch!"

"You're welcome."

"Where's Gomez?"

"He's in the study."

"Thank you."

"Ohhhh!"

She dried off a bit, then walked into the study. Her husband looked at her in shock.

"Tish, darling—you're soaked!"

"Yes! The weather is so absolutely perfect, I decided to take a walk."

At that moment, the lights went out!"

"And, now, it's even more perfect!," he said.

"Yes, boobalah!"

He began wildly kissing her wet arm!
