Team SKYJ (3/4) vs Curse of the Fang (Part 2)

Blazes: A Blaze refers to the weapon manifested from the soul. Kouryou Academy teaches its students new techniques, and trains them to use their blazes as peacekeeper. The students are placed in pairs called duo partners who will then live and train together for four years so they can become an 'absolute duo'. A blaze is naturally incapable of doing any physical damage...instead they damage the target's soul which does lead to real damage from the inside.

Round 5

Yuri, Kanade, Saturn, Naruto, and Otonashi vs Cuse of the Fang (Beserk Julie)

Bullets, shurikens and magical blast were abundant in numbers yet none succeeded to hit.

Three Narutos jumped at her which resulted in the death of those three clones.

Yuri aimed and fired a missile using a bazooka.

Their opponent jumped and kicked the air to avoid.

Otonashi fired a few bullets as a distraction while Saturn charged up her dual wands.

As if her instincts had a mind of its own, the berserk girl aimed for Saturn.

Kanade stood in front of Saturn, "Guard Skill:"

The girl zoomed past Kanade before the shield activated.

Saturn stopped charging and raised her wands defensively.

The dual blade wielder circled Saturn and in the blink of an eye, Saturn felt two slashes on her back. The Sega Hard Girl felt a spark of pain from the inside of her chest.

Yuri gritted her teeth as she aimed a rifle.

Through her scope, she saw Julie glare at her making her flinch.

Julie ran towards her leader and multiple things occurred all at once: a rifle was sliced into two pieces, a few clones were killed and Otonashi was stabbed through the heart.

Jack listened to a song that was different from the song Kate was playing. It was one of the only way to defend against her after all.

While Kate's taste in music held a variety of different songs, Jack's playlist consisted mostly of boss music.

The field they fought on was beyond recognition at this point. Every beat of a song changed the environment is some sort of way and both dimensional beings moved accordingly to the music they were listening to. With two songs playing at high volume, they both made sure to listen to only their song and block out the other.

Reality changed depending on the song: time would slow down on a building pre-chorus or speed up whenever the song dropped. With two songs playing, reality became distorted yet strangely "in sync".

No words were exchanged as the songs fought for audio dominance.

Unfortunately for Jack, not only did having a larger variety in songs give Kate the upper hand, she already had more experience in music battles.

Unfortunately for Kate, Jack received help from the same person who helped him fight against his previous threat.

Crashing through the walls, blasting out harsh rock music, was Jake the Dimensional Rebel of Stars.

As the songs came to an end, the winner was decided and the battle field returned to it's original state.

"Mjoinir!" Tooru yelled as he destroyed another alien robot.

Despite the destruction of one, more surrounded him and attacked simultaneously.

"Aegis Desire!" A force field appeared, taking every attack.

He was forced to his knees as he struggled to keep the shield on.

"Your duo partner... will be..."

Letting out a war cry, Tooru...picked up his force field and sprinted forward with all his might pushing the robots away.

"Julie Sigtuna...good luck, Tooru Kokonoe."

All tactics Yuri had in mine were all thrown out the window. Julie was simply too fast for any of them to work.

The only proper tactic they had was to defend each other and survive until Tooru arrives.

Otonashi woke up instantly, alerted. It took him a second to realise that he was 'killed' but quickly 'resurrected' which was strange because even though he was already dead, it usually took a day for him to heal.

Before he could question why, he saw Julie in the air, dropping towards him with her blades.

When Julie landed, her blades pieced the ground instead of Otonashi as Yuri managed to pull him out just in time. The berserk girl turned her head and glared at Yuri. She sprinted forward.

Naruto, Kanade and Saturn interfered as they all release a barrage of attacks on her. Julie jumped back evading everything. The three of them charged forward with Kanade in the centre, Naruto on all sides with his clones and Saturn as support from behind.

Otonashi held his shoulder to make sure his body healed correctly, "Yuri I-"

"Yes I know, I don't know either," Yuri answered, "but what usually takes a day now only takes a few minutes which is really convenient for us right now. More importantly, where's Tooru? When was the last time you saw him?"

Yuri fired a bullet near Julie's leg making the berserk flinch which allowed time for Naruto and Saturn to recover.

"We got separated by a horde of enemies," Otonashi answered, "but don't worry, he'll come."

"I know, but I'm afraid that Naruto and Saturn will-"

"It'll be fine. They'll survive...I hope."

"YURI! OTONASHI! WATCH OUT!"

They both turned their heads and saw that Julie was much closer to them than before.

Yuri defensively raised a bazooka which Julie sliced in half. This gave Otonashi's gun enough time to switch into a dagger.

"Sorry," Otonashi swung his dagger horizontally.

Julie evaded by jumping over him. She sensed Naruto's clones coming so she kicked Otonashi in the back and then spun around to face Naruto.

Yuri jumped back summoning a sniper rifle.

Two Naruto clones jumped at Julie which resulted in their quick defeat.

Saturn's dual wand turned brown and she smashed them onto the ground which created large cracks beneath Julie's feet. Unfortunately Saturn's attempt to slow down Julie's movements was rendered useless as she remembered Julie's ability:Wind Jerzu, which allowed her to step on the air like a set of stairs.

Multiple throwing knifes and bullets were sent towards Julie in barrages. As expected, none of them manage to hit her. Not that they wanted their attacks to hit. The whole point in attacking was so they could force their opponent to focus on evading not attacking.

Then an idea popped up in Saturn's head as her dual wands turned light blue. She swung her wand releasing a gust of wind in Julie's direction.

The white haired was blown away to the opposite side of the field. Julie did a backflip and landed softly on her feet. The distance between her and the others was now much greater than before.

In the middle was the cracked ground Saturn broke ealier. One side was where Julie stood and the other was where Otonashi, Yuri, Kanade, Saturn and Naruto stood side by side.

For a short moment, no one moved.

Julie stood still for a moment, glaring. Everyone was extremely tense, waiting to move at the slightest breath of wind.

Holding firmly onto her twin soul blades, Julie...sprinted forward.

The reaction was instantaneous.

Yuri summoned a submachine gun.

Otonashi raised his gun and emptied it.

Naruto and all his clones threw as many knifes as they could.

Saturn fired magical dust.

Kanade waited with her hand blades.

All of them made sure not to aim for any vital spots...not that it mattered as their opponent would've evaded it anyway.

Julie jumped to the left, right, left, left, right, jumped, ducked, slid. She always stayed low and even went inside the cracks of the ground to take cover. She was so fast that she looked like a ricocheting bullet, jumping off different pieces of debris.

The distance between them was decreasing drastically.

Saturn summoned an ice wall but Julie easily sliced through it.

Yuri and Otonashi ran out of bullets. Saturn needed more charging and Naruto lack of chakra was starting to show as his clones disappeared one after the other. Their formation was breaking quickly which could prove to be fatal.

Noticing this, Kanade charged forward with her hand blades. Julie, using quick speed, ran around Kanade. It seemed she was now aware of Kanade's defensive style. However, this time, Kanade was prepared for it.

(FLASHBACK)

Late at night, in Team SKYJ's dorm, two girls were silently siting in front of a computer.

"Did you talk to Otonashi about this?"

"Yes."

Yuri's eyes looked over at the computer, contemplating this decision. She then gave Kanade a look, "Are you really sure about this?"

"I want to help as much as I can. Anything like the cargo ship incident could occur again. I believe this skill would really be useful, especially in an event where we are heavily outnumbered."

Yuri sat back in her chair, thinking heavily, "...I guess you're right...But it's still a big risk. Remember all the trouble we went through the last time you used this skill."

"That's why I asked you to-"

"Yeah, yeah, I know."

"You finished the programming?"

"Yes...but it took way longer than I thought it was going to be. But it should work. You should be able to activate the absorb skill at will now. They'll all know about this so hopefully they'll be at a bit more obedient this time."

"Thank you."

Yuri sighed. She placed both hands on Kanade's shoulders, staring directly at her eyes, "Listen to me Kanade. While I may have improved it now, each one of them will still have a conscious of their own. Once you absorb them all back, you'll take on all pain they took. So please...only use this skill as a last resort."

Kanade nodded.

"Alright, as long as you know...come on, let's get some sleep."

(FLASHBACK ENDS)

"Guard Skill: Harmonics!"

White particles emerged from Kanade's body, combining together to create a Kanade clone with red eyes. Naruto watched with his mouth ajar while Yuri and Otonashi watched with immense worry.

The clone formed directly in front of Julie. Out of reflex, Julie swung her blades which the Kanade clone guarded with her guard skill Distortion.

The original Kanade changed her hand blade into version two which was a thinner, longer version of her original hand sonic. She swung it at Julie's back while her clone pushed against Julie with her force field. With no other visible choice, Julie jumped into the air to escape which gave Saturn her chance.

Once again, Saturn used wind magic and blew Julie away back to the other side of the field.

They were back to where they started.

Yuri and Otonashi finished reloading. Naruto panted as he was already exhausted and Saturn realised she had to be more conservative with her magic and dust.

They had an actual tactic now. Saturn would use her wands to prevent Julie from escaping into the air while everyone else push Julie back without fatally hurting her. They had the advantage. Most of their fighters used long range attacks while Julie fought close range meaning the greater the distance between them, the better.

This raised everyone's confidence. We can do this, everyone thought.

Julie stopped moving and so did everyone else.

The white haired girl didn't glare this time. Instead, she began screaming in pain.

Her scream froze everyone in place. They observed Julie's wounds. They were getting much worse. Julie had dodged every attack and has not even been hit once, she seemed to be the most injured. Whatever this berserk was, it was clearly hurting Julie from the inside.

Another concern arrived in Yuri's mind. The thought of Julie self destructing before Tooru arrives worried her. At that point, the only thing they can do is hope Tooru gets here fast.

Suddenly, the girl stopped screaming in pain causing everywhere to get ready. However, what she did next caught everyone off guard.

Julie turned and smashed through the window, out of the hallways they were fighting in.

Everyone had a moment of panic.

"What the-"

"Where did she go?!"

"Did she give up?"

"Probably not."

Multiple theories flew past Yuri's head as fast as lightning. She then faced her teamates with wide eyes "EVERYONE! QUICK! SHE'S GOING TO-"

Outside, the chaos has yet to decrease.

An all out war was occurring between alien robots, escaped prisoners and the combined forces of Vale and Atlas.

Atlesian paladins and knights were everywhere battling along side Vale soldiers.

During the battle, a strange event occurred.

"Warning: object is approaching at critical speed." A computer voice warned.

"What-"

Before the soldiers and robots could even look, a small figure with white hair sprinted past, bringing a gust of wind after it.

Robots that were in the way were instantly sliced in many pieces.

The white haired figure disappeared just as fast as it appeared, leaving every solider flabbergasted at what they just saw.

She then faced her teamates with wide eyes "EVERYONE! QUICK! SHE'S GOING TO-"

SMASH!

Everyone looked behind them and saw Julie, smashing through the window, glaring. Swiftly using the air as platforms, Julie landed directly in the middle of the group.

A lot happened in the next few seconds.

The first person she aimed for was Saturn. She swung her swords so fast that Saturn simply saw her wands disappear and she felt electrifying pain rush through her arms.

Naruto reacted quickly. Wincing in pain, he made a hand gesture creating two more clones.

Stepping on Saturn's head, Julie jumped over the clones and sliced them from the back. She then swung her sword at the original Naruto. Smoke appeared and her swords ended up slicing a piece of wood. As if she already knew that trick, Julie swiftly turned around and swung her sword at Naruto.

"Damn it! Not now!" Naruto thought. He was too exhausted to evade and had already squeezed out every ounce of chakra he had.

Otonashi fired a bullet past, earning the berserk girl's attention. Julie moved her head dodging the bullet then zoomed past Otonashi, slicing him and his gun. She then quickly spun around and kicked Naruto hard in the stomach.

By the time Yuri turned around and aimed, three of her comrades had collapsed on the ground, defeated. She jumped back, gaining some distance and aimed her rifle again.

Julie then surpassed all of Yuri's predication as she pulled back her arm and threw one of her swords directly at Yuri. The sword went straight through Yuri's rifle, shattering it. In the blink of an eye, Julie approached Yuri from the front and swung her other sword.

Before the sword met its target, Yuri felt someone grab her from behind.

"Guard Skill: Delay!"

Julie's sword went straight through Yuri as it was some sort of after-image. They had evaded.

Julie turned around and saw Yuri and Kanade running towards their fallen comrades. Before she could make a move, Kanade's clone approached her and swung her hand blades. Julie jumped back and engaged in battle with Kanade's clone who, like Kanade, possessed all the guard skills.

"Yuri," Kanade talked while she had the chance.

Yuri listened carefully.

"Please take care of the others... and trust me with this."

"...Be careful."

Kanade nodded before going to assist her clone.

Right on cue, her clone was pushed back, her body covered with wounds.

Kanade stood beside her clone who looked back at her.

"You won't win like this." Her clone stated.

"...I know."

Kanade Tachibana vs Julie Sigtuna

Without saying a single word, Kate picked herself up...and left.

Jake and Jack watch as the girl takes a silent leave. As soon as she disappeared, the two boys sighed in relief.

"Phew. That was exhausting. You really need to stop picking up fights like that Jack." Jake commented as he removed his headphones which had a star pattern on it.

"Really? I say they're..." He stopped to take a breath, "...they're quite fun."

"Right...You think that'll be the last of them?" Jake asked, "Are there any others who know of this 'stunt' you're pulling... besides Marcus, Alice, Kate and Jason of course."

Jack just shrugged, "I have no idea..you never know these days. To be honest, anything can happen at this point."

"I thought good villains were meant to have smart evil plans." Jake said playfully.

"True...I'll keep that in mind for next time." Jack replied, accepting the advice.

"If there's a next time," Jake placed emphasised on the word 'if'.

He walked over to the hundreds of digital monitors Jack had up. The monitors showed everything that was happening in the chaos below. From the mothership, Jack could practically see everything.

"Damn...that's a lot of characters you've mixed together. I can't believe you got away with this until now." Jake praised, "No wonder the world began cracking. This is reckless no matter how I see it."

"Yes, I am quite proud to be honest." Jack replied like an artist who takes pride in his work, "Thanks for the help by the way. You're free to join if you want."

Jake shook his head, "No thanks. I think I've dirtied my hands enough."

"Suit yourself. Say thanks to Amy on the way out will ya?"

"Will do mate." Jake turned around to exit the room, but not before warning, "You really should be careful though, the only reason why we won against Alice and Marcus was because-"

"Yeah, yeah, I know." Jack brushed off the warning like it was dust, "Trust me we got it covered now."

Jake just smiled, amused but not surprised at Jack's behaviour, "Just don't go and get yourself erased now, that's all I'm going to say."

"Guard Skill: Howling!"

The clone held her hand blades in a cross shape. What came next was a powerful high-frequency, high-amplitude sound-waves. Meant to make an enemy faint.

Yuri tried to block her ears but that didn't help much. Otonashi and Saturn had already lost conscious while Naruto was barely holding on.

Julie covered her ears as well. When she realised it didn't help, the berserk girl flew outside through the window.

"Stop." Kanade ordered her clone, "You're affecting the others as well. They're more defenceless now."

The clone stopped, she stared at Kanade with apathetic red eyes, "Then just make sure Julie stays away from them."

Julie returned and swiftly jumped on the air, almost flying towards them.

"Harmonics." They both activate the skill at the same time. Now there were four Kanades.

The original Kanade grew angel wings on her back and flew to engage Julie directly.

Two clones stayed at both sides while one stayed close to where Yuri and co were.

"Hand Sonic: Version Five." Kanade's hand blades transformed into a pair of pincers secured on the arm by a violet gauntlet-like accessory that resembles a demon's head, horns and shape.

In mid air, their weapons clashed. Using the air as a platform, Julie then jumped over Kanade sliced her wings, removing her ability to fly.

Down below, two clones were waiting.

"Passive Skill: Overdrive!"

Both clones singlehandedly picked up a giant piece of debris and threw it at Julie.

Julie evaded, even using one of the thrown debris as a platform to jump off. She landed near one of the clones and swung her sword.

Using her inhuman strength, the Kanade clone stomped her leg through the ground and the caught the sword as it was swung with her hand. She tried smashing the sword but it was too sturdy even with her strength.

Still using the momentum, Julie kicked the Kanade clone in the

The clone winced in pain. It was then they all discovered that this berserk mode must've given Julie inhuman strength as well. The clone's hand began bleeding but her grip on Julie's sword stayed firm. Using that, the clone picked up Julie and threw her into the air, towards where the original Kanade and another clone was waiting.

Julie did a backflip in mid-air and softly landed in the middle of Kanade and her clone.

Suddenly, both Kanade and her clone emitted a blue aura. They both had activated their Version one hand sonic on both their arms. At the same time, both Kanades began spinning their arms rapidly, destroying the surrounding area. Their arms spun so rapidly that a tornado of slashes appeared behind and in front of Julie.

Watching from a distances, Yuri remembered how her friend once described this move as powerful as a jet bomber. However Yuri has only seen Kanade use this move on shadows monster and not a real human being.

Kanade's previous word echoed in Yuri's head. "...And trust me with this."

The tornado drove Julie into a corner. She couldn't escape through the air and both Kanades were coming at her from both directions. So the berserk girl did the only thing she could do. She raised one armed, pointing one sword towards the ceiling while pointing the other sword towards the ground.

Yuri's eyes slowly opened wider, "Don't tell me she's going to-"

As both tornado slowly came closer and closer. Julie began...spinning her arms rapidly, copying Kanade's move.

Soon, there were three tornadoes of slashes, two of which consisted of white slashes while the one in the middle was blood red.

Julie walked forward, challenging Kanade's clone. Both girls walked forward, their tornadoes of slashes clashing which created thousands of clashing weapons noises. For Yuri, it was a sight to behold; every single slash that created that tornado was deflected by Julie's blade.

Both girls, at first, seemed equal in speed...however the clone found herself being overpowered as slash wounds began appearing on her body.

Eventually one of her hand blades broke and the whole thing ended with Julie zooming past the clone, slicing her. With immense speed, Julie then grabbed the clone's arm and threw her towards the original Kanade's tornado which caused Kanade to accidentally kill one of her clones before she could stop the tornado.

The fourth clone summoned her hand blades and made a cross shape, preparing to use Howling again.

"No don't-"

Julie practically flew past Kanade and towards the fourth clone.

"Guard Skill: How-"

The clone was interrupted when Julie broke the cross shape with her blade before stabbing a sword straight through the clone's chest.

The second clone who was guarding Yuri's group, abandoned her position and went to engage in battle.

Both remaining Kanades charged at Julie from both directions.

Julie spun and attacked the original Kanade with her sword.

Kanade used her guard skill delay creating an after-image that made Julie miss. The last remaining clone jumped to Julie's side, swinging her hand blade.

Julie swiftly recovered from attack missing and ducked low to avoid the attack. Then she swung her leg and kicked her opponents legs causing both of them to fall.

Before any of them hit the ground, they grew angelic wings and flew up, but they weren't fast enough to dodge Julie's addition attack which left a painful wound on both Kanades.

The cursed girl followed after the two Kanades into the air. Despite the 2 vs 1 situation, Julie was on full offence forcing Kanade to focus back on defense. Whenever Kanade worked with her clone to leave Julie open, their opponent always manage to use their immense speed to close that opening.

One of the clone's wings was sliced in half which began her decent towards the ground. Kanade dived to save her clone. She manage to catch her clone just before she hit the ground however a second later, Kanade felt a sword piece her through the chest. Julie then used her other sword to slice Kanade's legs rendering them useless.

While one of Julie's swords was stuck through Kanade's chest, the clone Kanade caught tried to use this chance to catch Julie off guard. However Julie's quick reflexes easily countered as she stabbed her second sword into her. The clone was then grabbed by the leg and flung outside into the chaotic war by Julie's berserker strength.

As a last final attempt, Kanade mustered all her energy to strike Julie's leg with her blade. Julie saw this coming and countered with-

...

Things slowed down for once.

Yuri and the original Kanade stared with wide eyes. Julie was stopped as someone had punched her hard in the stomach. It was Kanade's other clone from earlier, the one Julie had stabbed a sword through her chest.

Julie was pushed back. The girl collapsed instantly, coughing up blood. That was the very first blow Julie had been hit with but thanks to her berserker mode already damaging her from the inside, the punch was enough to bring Julie down.

Still looking at Julie's defeated form, Kanade fell to the ground as her legs were rendered useless already. Yuri was gravely concerned for Julie's injuries but felt relieved that everything was finally over.

Kanade did it.

Soon later, Saturn, Naruto and Otonashi slowly began waking up, groaning as their heads felt dizzy. They all saw Julie limp on the ground and sat up.

"Whoa. She won." Saturn stared in awe.

"Kanade." Otonashi saw Kanade's state.

Naruto looked at Kanade and her clone, "SHE'S A NINJA?!"

Julie's body twitched, causing everyone to flinch. The girl began coughing viciously. It was clear as daylight that Julie needed critical help but the Curse of the Fang was clearly still active making it dangerous to go near.

"Hand Sonic: Version One."

Kanade and Yuri froze for a moment before staring at the clone who had punched Julie.

"What are you doing?" Kanade asked, glaring.

"It'll be problematic if she gets back up," the clone replied with emotionless red eyes. She began walking towards Julie with the intent to finish her.

"Stop-" Kanade winced in pain, she couldn't move.

"Oh no you don't!" Yuri was too far from them to stop her but she did have a sniper rifle.

Otonashi stumbled to pick up his gun.

Saturn's wands turned light blue.

Naruto made a weak hand gesture, "Shadow clone-"

The clone grew angelic wings and blew wind in their direction, slowing them down. She then jumped towards Julie aiming her blade.

Berserk Julie glared as she could only watch.

Suddenly, she heard someone ran past her yelling:

"Aegis Desire!"

A force field blocked the clone's hand blade.

The cursed girl looked up at her protector, "T..T-To-Tooru..."

"I'm here...Julie!"

A bullet shot the Kanade clone from the back and before she could retaliate, a Naruto clone grabbed her arm while Kanade, whose legs with still bleeding, grabbed her foot.

Tooru looked at the Kanade with red eyes and the Kanade with gold. He quickly read the situation and clenched his fist, gathering immense amount of powerful. He pulled back his fist and punched the Kanade clone in the stomach, delivering the final blow, "Mjoinir!"

...

...

...

"You managed to stay strong after all this time...you seem to have found others to trust besides me huh?"

"...Ja."

He gently patted her on the head, "That's good, the more people you can trust the better. and now that I'm here, I might as well meet them and express my gratitude."

"...Ja."

...

...

...

The curse of the fang faded and Julie fainted into Tooru's arms. Soon after, Tooru also collapsed as well, holding Julie close to him.

Yuri watched silently from afar. She observed all the injuries that Tooru must've suffered trying to get here. She watched the peaceful look on Julie's sleeping face. It was then, that Yuri realised that Julie must've been really scared and homesick, just like her. Yuri never thought of that. She assumed that because Julie was accustomed to fighting and from a fantasy like world, she would have nothing to be scared of. Seeing Julie now made Yuri think of all the times Julie tried to help the time and how she had no one to properly comfort her before Tooru arrived.

Kanade crawled which Otonashi quickly notice. He went over and helped Kanade get up.

"Good job." Was all Otonashi could say. He was jsut glad Kanade was okay.

Kanade silently pointed at her clone who was knocked out by Tooru. Otonashi understood and brought Kanade over to her clone, placing her down gently. The golden-eyed girl bowed respectfully, "...Thank you for your help." While she didn't appreciate the clone trying to kill Julie, she had to give credit where credit was due. "Guard Skill: Absorb."

The clone disperse into red, smoke-like particles. The same happened to the clone who was thrown outside and the clone who was ripped into shreds by Kanade's tornado. As if Kanade was some sort of vacuum, all the red particles moved towards her.

"Each one of them will still have a conscious of their own. Once you absorb them all back, you'll take on all pain they took."

Kanade began screaming in agony. Her body viciously began writhing, "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

Otonashi wrapped her arms around Kanade, doing his best to comfort her, 'HANG IT THERE KANADE! HANG IN THERE!"

"She only created three clones and yet she's in this much pain..." Yuri's thoughts were filled with regret. She felt responsible for letting Kanade do this. She hugged Kanade from behind, encouraging her to stay strong while also apologising.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

The screaming froze everyone else in place. They could only stare in utter horror. Kanade was known to be such a quiet person which made witnessing this much worse for them.

It felt just as worse when Julie screamed, making every second feel like an hour.

The screaming continued...and continued...

...

...

...

Eventually it stopped and Kanade lost consciousness, and most likely 'died' from the suffering. As someone who is already dead like Yuri and Otonashi, she would recover from even death...both the pain she suffered just was beyond describable. Saturn and Naruto almost felt traumatised just from watching.

Yuri left Kanade in Otonashi's arms as she stood up.

"Tooru." She called softly, looking at the ground.

Said person turned his head, his around still wrapped around his Duo Partner.

"Will Julie remember everything she did in her berserk mode?"

"...Probably not. Why?"

The leader of Team SKYJ looked up and faced her comrades, "Everyone...I think it's best we don't tell Julie about what happened here. The guilt will be too much for the poor girl. We all know this was something Julie couldn't stop."

Everyone was silent but it was clear they all agreed with her.

As much as she wanted to rest, there was still a war occurring.

"With our current state, the best move would be to regroup with the others and treat Julie's wounds." Yuri stated, "Naruto. Can you still fight?"

Naruto snapped out of his shock, "Umm, I...I need a bit more time to recover my chakra."

"That's fine. Can you go and help Tooru? His injured as well."

"Hai." Naruto nodded as he went to assist Tooru with carrying Julie.

"Saturn, I'm relying on you to help me if we come across any enemies." Yuri said as she summoned a light gun.

"Of course," Saturn replied softly.

"Julie is only becomes like that when..."

Everyone who was conscious turned to look at Tooru.

"When she is reminded of her father's death," Tooru explained, "it's a memory that Julie locked away so-"

"Someone must've forced Julie to remember." Yuri guessed.

Tooru looked down, if he had gotten here sooner, Kanade wouldn't have had to go through that, "...That's what happened last time with K...I'm so sorry everyone. Even though I knew about it beforehand, I didn't-"

"Tooru," Yuri interrupted, "...There's only one person in this world who should be apologising to all of us...and that person is probably relaxing in his mothership, enjoying the sight of this chaos...the one who started everything."

There was no need to say this person's name as everyone already knew who Yuri was talking about.

With Otonashi carrying Kanade, Naruto helping Tooru with Julie; and Saturn and her leader in the front, Team SKYJ and a few others began their departure.

Clenching her gun, Yuri Nakamura faced forward, "...Let's go!"

"HAI!"

Winner: Team SKYJ, Tooru and Naruto!

Rewinding backwards, around the same time Julie went berserk and the Spirits from Team KNPY turned Inverse.

A demonic roar filled the hallways.

"This wasn't the type of monster I was expecting to fight." The gamer sniper commented as she slowly backed away.

"Yu..." She her scythe tighly.

"SHINOA! SINON! Stay behind me!" Kirito ordered.

His avatar was a mixture of his ALO and GGO avatar. He dual wielded a lightsaber and his Holy Sword Excalibur.

In front of them, was some sort of human monster with demonic black wings on his back. The man's bleeding eyes were blood red and he emitted a dangerous aura. This man was Yu, Shinoa's close ally and member of Kirito's team.

Leaving a small crater from where he once stood, Yu flew towards his own teammates.

"HERE HE COMES!"

Once again, it's been way too long since I last posted. Oh well, I'm going to keep pushing. Two more chapters about Team KSYS and the story will FINALLY be focusing on Team RWBY and Mato and co. Remember them? I mean this entire crossover is a RWBY x BRS yet they've barely had any screen time in this final arch. (That will change though) I hope you guys are keeping up and remembering all these characters, especially my OCs, the dimensional Travellers and Rebels since I just recently introduced them. I said they weren't going to make an appearance after their cameos in chapter 41...GUESS I WAS WRONG HUH? Don't worry, I'll only add a few scenes of them here and there. The main charters are still my main focus.

Also, I apologise if I got any details wrong about the franchises such as: Naruto's stamina and abilities, Kanade's skills and most importantly, Julie's Berserk mode. I actually don't remember much about Curse of the Fang besides she gets faster and she hurts herself and only Tooru can stop it. I also can't remember whether Julie losses her memory of being in Berserk mode. If it turns out that in the actual series, Absolute Duo, Julie remembers what she did in her berserk mode, then that's a detail I have changed because of all the reasons Yuri mentioned.

One last thing...I may have accidentally given a hint in this chapter that may or may not have given away a major p- and I'm going stop myself right there before I spoil anything... The hint is tiny and very subtle, so it's easy to miss...but it is there. I'm going to shut up now. Just forget about it, all will be revealed in due time.

Meanwhile, back in the pocket dimension that is right beneath Remnant's existence.

The crack abruptly grew bigger which made Amy release a frustrated moan. She placed her palm on it. First she slowed down the cracking to a halt and then slowly began fixing it.

It was then, she felt another presence. A presence that made her sigh, "I swear Jack and Jake are way too careless for their own good."

She didn't have to look to know who had entered.

It was John, the Dimensional Traveller of Nature.

Amy didn't panic nor did she worry because she knew John wasn't the type to attack first.

At first, no words were exchanged.

John stood next to Amy, looking at the crack with worry, "...Need any help?"

"No...but I would appreciate it." Amy replied.

John placed his hand on the crack, right next to Amy's hand. A green light appeared and the crack grew smaller and smaller, but it didn't completely disappear.

"Thanks."

"Glad to help." John replied.

Another moment of silence went by. Unlike some others, John didn't completely hate the Dimensional Rebels, in fact, to some degree, he actually sympathised with them.

"I met Marcus, Alice and Kate earlier...were they here?"

"Marcus and Alice battled with Jake and Jack here," Amy answered, "I'm not sure about Kate though."

"I see...I should've guessed this was all their doing." John let go of the crack and walked past Amy, "Excuse me, I need to-"

John was stopped by Amy's other arm, "No can do mate. Can't let you pass."

"Amy, please..." John begged, "What Jack is doing is putting billions of lives in danger. I need to stop him."

"I'm taking control of it, aren't I?" Amy countered, pointing at the crack she was fixing.

"You guys are still treading on thin ice here." John replied, "With this many characters clashing, this dimension has become immensely unstable. Anything could happen at this point."

"I've already made a deal with Jack. A deal I don't plan to break. Sorry mate, I can't let you through."

John took a step back and looked at Amy, "Is fighting really the only way we can solve this?"

"Pretty. Much."

"I thought you were busy stabilising the crack."

"I am...but now you're here...and you would never let an entire dimension be destroyed... would you, John?"

He didn't answer that question. Instead he summoned fifty different types of hostile plants, each from a different dimension.

Amy clicked her fingers and hundreds of spears made purely of jewels and gems appeared, aiming at John.

With the crack still present and growing, another between a rebel and a traveller begins.
