Silver Surfer - Chapter Six: Back In Miami (Part Two)

Surfing is a way of life, not an obsession don't let it take you away from what really matters unless you have nothing to live for.

The fresh air blew over all four pups as they walked out of the hotel. Chase had a hard time balancing two boards on his back, Skye's shortboard after she grew tired and for also annoying her earlier. Plus, his own. Zuma carried a longboard, wood-like fiberglass, along the trim was waterproof lights.

"Why did you bring that board, Zuma?" Skye asked, walking by his side as they waited for the walk signal. Chase took a glance at the board too, accidentally running his paw along Zuma's side as it slipped from the smooth surfboard.

"It's a little slippy than your others." Both Zuma and Skye giggled.

"All surfboards are like that at first, that's why you use a special type of wax to make it rough so you can balance better without slipping off." Zuma nodded in response, while Chase rolled his eyes at the Cockapoo's undirected reply.

Rubble was chewing on an ice pop when they crossed the road, walking passed many cars. Once they got to the boardwalk, Rubble and Skye went to a full sprint, dashing towards the sandy beach, leaving the other two in a cloud of dust. Zuma and Chase kept at a slow pace, mostly from having heavy surfboards on their backs and they wanted to breathe in the sunny, cool breeze of Florida weather.

"Why are there so many palm trees?" Chase felt his back again when he dropped the boards down to the sand beneath him. Everything felt different, odd. Even the beach and water that passed through his nose was new. "Guessing, you've been here before?" Zuma nodded in response, dropping his own board to the ground below. Shaking his fur and any loose hairs. Abruptly, he slightly lost his balance, falling on top of the German Shepherd, fur coming in close contact. Tags making a 'clink' sound as Chase's paws held onto the Lab's for support.

"Thanks, Chase." He lightly pecked the Police pup on the lips before looking out to sea. "Let's go suwfing, I want to see how you awe with Miami waves." The Shepherd and the Lab each picked up a longboard. Chase didn't feel like taking a risk and damaging his, so he took one of Zuma's spares; A silver and white one.

As they reached the shoreline, the tides washed beneath their paws. They scouted for the other two, Skye was in the water, gamboge fur sticking to her skin as the water soaked her body, she was splashing water at the English Bulldog who tackled her into the ocean until both swam back up for air.

"Do you think Rubble likes Skye?" Zuma dug his muzzle into a small bag, pulling out a can of surfboard wax.

"It's totally obvious Chase. I think in time she'll leawn to like him too." Chase put a paw to his head, leaving the Cockapoo and Bulldog, turning his gaze on the Chocolate Labrador, eyes looking in curiosity.

After Zuma applied the thick coat of wax on the fiberglass surfboard, he met Chase's gaze. "Let's go!"

Once they felt the water at their paws, they both tied the leg rope to one of their back paws, before belly-flopping on two longboards. Zuma was faster, paddling further and further away from the shoreline, towards the lineup. The cool breeze making his fur shiver slightly, little hairs stand up. Feeling nostalgic and homesick, Zuma closed his eyes, picturing himself back at four months old, riding with his brother Zac and sister Sapphire, along with his neighbor Skylar or 'Skye' as every pup knows her. It felt good to be home.

Before riding his first calm wave, he waited, ears perking up at a certain German Shepherd paddling up to him.

"What happened?" Chase heavily pants, looking at the small breaking waves.

"Currents… So much stronger here than Adventure Bay." Zuma giggled, seeing an upcoming wave.

"Weady?" Chase nodded at both grabbed the rails of their surfboards, turning it towards the shoreline, as the lip curled, it lifted the two pups in the air as both jumped up onto four paws, this time Chase kept his balance, being careful not to move his back paws too far to the tail, which could tilt it.

As the wave started breaking, Chase put his front paws on the rails, gaining more speed as he rode his first wave flawlessly. Zuma next to him, long wavy ears flying behind his head as he took a sudden turn, aiming for the tunnel opening.

Chase smirked, turning his board towards the Chocolate Lab, if he could pull this off, he may get his muzzle slapped or a hot and bothered Zuma drenched head to tail in the salty sea, tackling him down in frustration. Either way, Chase's once carefree attitude changed into determination.

Skye watched from the water, seeing the two riding the large wave. Her eyes piqued interest in Chase surfing. Oddly getting closer to Zuma, as he scraped the water with his paw to the Chocolate Labrador. Zuma noticed, ducking inside the tunnel, performing the perfect barrel roll.

The Shepherd following shortly after, being this his first experience riding in the tunnel, he almost forgot about the little rivalry he and the Lab had, looking instead at the turquoise water as it curved over him. He caved the board, doing a 180 grabbing the sides of the board, lifting him up in the air for a second, perfecting an aerial reverse. Zuma was suddenly fascinated by the trick, he looked behind him, not seeing the exit of the tunnel, tasting nothing but the ocean as the Lab got wiped out while Chase rode passed him, placing a front paw over the glassy water as he surfed out the tunnel, the wave turning into nothing but flat water once again.

Chase paddled away from the next set of breaking waves, duck-diving or performing a turtle roll as whitewater passed him. He waited until Zuma breached the surface of the water once more. The Lab quickly swam up to his board, jumping on top of it as he caught his breath. He looked at the blurry sky before wiping his eyes, water falling from his fur as he floated along the water, away from the waves.

Chase grabbed the board with his paw, stopping the wood-like fiberglass from moving anymore. The pup looked back, growling at smiling ambers.

"You wiped me out!" After getting his breath back and no longer seeing stars, The Lab jumped onto the board next to him, throwing the German Shepherd off balance as he roughly tackled him down, nothing but a piece of fiberglass beneath them.

The two pups started wrestling with each other, canines coming out of hiding as both growled playfully. Zuma had his paw on Chase's muzzle while he sank his sharp teeth into one of the Shepherd's pointy ears, scraping his canines on the tip. While Chase bit into the skin under Zuma's neck, leaving puncher holes on his salmon collar, claws scratching down the Lab's back until he let out a husky growl. His hot breath lingering above Chase's ear as he caught it, pressing his muzzle against Chase's, laying a lick down the side in defeat. The Shepherd felt his mind go blank.

"I… honestly didn't mean to. Or maybe I did. I love your moans, but bark, your growls are like the sexiest sound ever." Zuma blushed, turning his muzzle away from Chase, emerald eyes glancing over to the Cockapoo and English Bulldog. He was on her surfboard as she taught him how to paddle. Their tails wagging as they were laughing. "Are you mad at me?" Chase cupped Zuma's muzzle softly to which he leaned into, licking over a tan paw in affection.

"A little, but it's my fault." Chase nodded in response, Zuma growled, aiming his paw at the cocky pup, giving him a light slap. The two realized they were still on the water when a small wave broke under them, carrying the pair towards the shore. They shared a light, tender kiss before Zuma jumped back on his longboard, belly-flopping as he paddled back to shore. Chase following shortly after, taking a glance beyond the horizon.

'Wow, being in the tunnel almost gives me the same feeling when being with Zuma… I really need to tell Marshall the truth.' The Shepherd shook his head of thoughts, returning to the shore once more. He put his board down, running over to the three pups.

Suddenly, he felt nothing but fur as he bumped into something. He took his muzzle away, looking into a pair of minty green eyes with a hint of silver, chocolate-colored fur, a little more ruffled up and scruffy than Zuma's glossy, smooth fur. The fur on the top of his head raised up, flying in the wind as a black streak went across his gel-like bangs. A necklace made of little fake bones hung around his neck. He had a metallic green Gun board next to him.

He was almost like an exact copy of Zuma.

"Hey, sorry dude didn't see you there, you should be careful. By the way, nice board." Chase looked down at the silver and white longboard by his paws, then back at the familiar Chocolate Labrador.

"Um, thanks." The pup smiled, taking Chase's paw before shaking it.

"Names Zac, without the 'k' and this here is my board Lessie." Chase raised an eyebrow until Zac flipped the board over, a large loch ness monster spray-painted on the back, bloodshot eyes with scales sharp enough to cut through metal. It was eating surfers and their boards.

"I'm Chase, and your board is pretty cool too." The Chocolate Lab giggled.

"By the way, you've been staring at me a lot. Do I have something on my fur?" Chase shook his head vigorously.

"It's just you look like some pup I know, so familiar, almost like you're related." Zac laughed, already waxing his 6ft surfboard.

"Dude, not to make you stupid or anything, but Miami has millions of Choco Labs living here." Zac took a glance at Chase's pup tag and collar. "You don't live in Florida do you?"

"I live in Adventure Bay." Zac's eyes went wide, now everything was starting to make sense.

"I think I know who you're talking about."

Further down the beach, Zuma played with the sand, paws dropping it back on the ground like snow, while Skye started talking to a Golden Retriever.

"Sorry, I didn't catch your name." Zuma turned back, listening to Skye's flirty giggles that were hurting his wavy ears.

"It's Bailey, and yours is Skye right?" The Cockapoo nodded, tail swaying side to side.

"Yes and that's a really cute name you got." Bailey blushed, pulling his black shades over his hazel eyes.

"Thanks, um you haven't seen a Chocolate Lab by the name of Zac anywhere?" Zuma and Skye's ears both perked up at the familiar name. "I'm meant to be meeting him here for surfing before he has to travel back to Ocean Drive." Skye put a paw to her head, scouting the beach until she found the said pup talking with a certain German Shepherd. She pointed her paw. "Thanks!" Bailey left just as Zuma walked towards Skye.

"Hey, you don't think the Zac he's talking about is my bwothew do you?" Skye nodded her head in response.

"He's talking to Chase, why don't you go over there and find out?" Zuma stepped back, shaking his head.

"I haven't seen my family in so long, if that's Zac then I don't think that's a good idea." Skye huffed in frustration, leaving the Lab to his thoughts.

The Gamboge Cockapoo tapped a paw on Bailey's side as they approached the other two. Chase raised an eyebrow while Zac smiled.

"So, you decided to come then?" Zac sighed before embracing the Retriever.

"You have no barking idea, how crazy traffic is."

The Cockapoo and Shepherd both shared a confused glance before leaving the two, saying goodbye.

"Who's the girl?" Zac asked while Bailey put his shades back over his long curly bangs.

"Just some pup who decided to say hi to me. She seems sweet and there's this pup who looks just like you. So, who's the guy?"

"Randomly bumped into me, he said the same thing." Bailey giggled, looking back at the now four pups. He kept his gaze on the Chocolate Lab with the salmon collar the most, as did Zac.

"Hey, Chase, Zuma we got to go back, it's almost dinner time."

Upon hearing his brother's name, a small smile invited itself on the green-eyed Lab's lips.

'Wow Zuma, look how much you've grown'

When the pups got back to the hotel, they rode the elevator to the third floor. Chase and Zuma were exhausted, carrying three surfboards between them wasn't easy.

Their eyes went wide, gazes on the shaggy-haired teen who had his hair finely combed back with gel to help it stay down. He wore a dazzling black tuxedo with a white shirt, frills going all the way down, near to the buttons which were all done up, except for two at his neck. Matching pants to boot. He was in front of Rocky, putting on a tie for him which sat in the middle of his black jacket, a green ribbon streak going down to the hem. Fur groomed to perfection, tuffs of thick fur now thin-lined bangs almost covering his eyes. Before Zuma could be caught up in a daze, looking at the stunning Mixed breed, Ryder's voice could be heard.

"Great, you're here! Chase, Zuma, Rubble, your suits are all on the bed, help each other if you need too, I'll do your ties. Skye, your dress is in the bathroom, I'll help you with it in a moment." All nodded in response as the room door swung open. A blue-eyed Dally walking through, he had a light blue suit on that was cut halfway. A white tie with patterned red bows. Chase was in a trance, his mate looked so beautiful. He could stare endlessly at Marshall, his fur really showing in the baby blue tux. The Dalmatian went over to Ryder and Rocky just as the boy finished with the Mixed breed's silk tie, emerald green going down to his waistline. He then went over to Skye who already was having issues grooming herself.

"Hey, Chase mind helping me?" The Shepherd turned his head, gaze leaving his mate, who never gave a look back. Amber eyes meeting emerald, he had somehow managed to put his peachy cream jacket on, the buttons undone. The Shepherd shook his head, stepping closer as paws roamed over chocolate-covered fur, down to Zuma's waistline before running back to the buttons on the jacket, canines biting down on the clips as his teeth lightly grazed Zuma's fur.

A slight gasp ran over to a set of white-spotted ears, who looked back, ears faltering while blue eyes stained with upcoming tears. Looking back at the two starstruck pups.

"Rocky?" The Mixed breed turned his head, gold eyes meeting blue.

"Yeah, Marshall."

"Do you think Zuma is being too friendly with Chase?" More like the other way round.

"They're just getting each other dressed, it doesn't seem nothing out of the ordinary." Marshall sighed, wanting to lie down. "You'll crinkle the suit if you do that." Marshall instantly jumped back up onto four paws, a sad frown showing.

"That's just it, normally Chase would say no to such contact. I'm just worried, he's acting so different around me," Rocky put a comforting paw on Marshall's side.

"I've told you this, he's stressed, it doesn't mean he's suddenly falling for Zuma. Trust him." 'Barking idiot, you are the worst friend ever. Stop lying to him, the pup is hurting for paws sake.'

"You're probably right." With that Marshall turned away from the Lab and the Shepherd as Zuma gave Chase a tender lick on the top of his head, smoothing out fur.

Skye walked out of the bathroom, long white dress all the way down to her tail flowing slightly above her paws, a gold trim following the hemline. A light grey collar on her neck, with her ears in rose pink ribbons, loosely so they don't hurt the soft tissue surrounding her fur.

"Whoa, dudette, I'm speechless." She smiled at Zuma, responding with a flirty wink as she spun her dress around, the Bulldog most in a trance. Ryder walked back out, putting Rubble's grey jacket on, clipping the buttons before adjusting his silver bow tie.

Once the pups were all dressed, they all walked out the door. Rubble put his paw around Skye, Rocky walked close with Marshall, along with Ryder. Zuma and Chase were the last to leave, the Lab captivated by Chase's satin navy blue tux with a white bow tie. Matching his black and white collar.

"You look weally good Chase." The Shepherd planted a surprising kiss by the side of Zuma's muzzle before following everyone else to the elevator.

They walked into a fancy restaurant, a table fit for eight. Marshall was surprised when Chase didn't automatically sit next to him. He took the closest seat to Zuma instead, fur brushing against fur - well more the material of each other's suits.

They each had a menu, both suited for humans and canines. The pups drank water while Ryder had soda. They talked with each other, while they chose what to eat.

"Rubble, what are you going to pick?" Skye asked, battering her eyelashes at the flustered Bulldog.

"U-um I think maybe the steak or the chicken."

"Why don't you just get the whole menu Rubble?" Chase joked, him and Zuma pawfiving. Skye growled, flinging water at the two of them.

Marshall licked his water slowly, taking short glances at his mate across the table. He sighed looking at the Mixed breed, not even holding his menu up.

"Aren't you going to eat anything Rocky?" The Mixed breed shook his head in response.

"Nothing catches my eye. Besides, I'm not very hungry." Rocky put his paws on the table, mind going back to the events earlier, the Lab in his paws as he begged for a second chance, before being told to let go, move on. 'Barking hell, Zuma is seriously falling in love with Chase and I have to let go. Which I can't. I love Zuma, no matter what. I even told him and it wasn't enough. Bark, I don't deserve to be happy.' Rocky sighed, getting up from his chair, Ryder immediately turned to face him.

"Rocky, are you okay?" The Mixed breed nodded, excusing himself from the table.

He went into the bathroom, looking at himself in the mirror. Putting a paw to his bangs, he lifted them away from his eyes. Gold hues becoming glassy as he slammed a paw against his reflection.

"Stupid, stupid. I'm such a barking fool! Zuma was meant to be mine, he fell in love with me. I can't let this happen all because of this stupid surfing competition. Chase had no intention of doing it for Marshall. He did it for Zuma. He's so jealous that he's actually trying to take the pup I love away from me. We might be teammates and he is our Alpha, but he's a cheater and liar, bark… I'm really starting to resent him." A sudden sound snapped the Mixed breed from his thoughts as a concerned Dalmatian walked through.

"Hey, Rocky everybody's already ordered their food, I picked out something for you in case you got hungry," The Mixed breed forced his lips to smile.

"I told you, I'm not hungry." Marshall walked closer, eyes going wide at a crimson scratch across Rocky's paw.

"Are you bleeding, come here." Rocky was suddenly dragged to the sink, Marshall held out his paw, running it under cold water. The Mixed breed looked at Marshall's worrisome ocean blues. Eyes traveling down the Dally's light blue collar matching with his tux. His wandering hues soon met with Marshall's dazzling ones. Mesmerized by how different the Dally looked. How his snow-white fur hid under a light blue cotton fabric so well.

Without any warning, Rocky put a paw against the side of the Dally's muzzle, running it down to his lips. Marshall had about a second to realize what was happening when a set of paws wrapped around his neck, wetting his fur in little droplets.

The Dally's eyes went wide when the Mixed breed closed the gap between them, pulling the confused pup into a tender kiss, lips moving ever so slowly against the Dalmatian's soft like petal ones. His eyes closing slowly, being pulled in deeper. Rocky wanted it all to stop, his heart to stop hurting, his mind to stop spinning in circles. Sleepless nights because he can't bear to dream of the Chocolate Lab. He completely forgot who he was and what he was doing. He didn't care, just for a moment, Rocky didn't want to think about Zuma.

His paw moved, now wrapping at the back of Marshall's head as he made the kiss deeper. Marshall was too shaken, unable to speak or pull away. He knew Rocky was hurting as much as he but he couldn't do this, he couldn't return the kiss. He was with Chase, the pup who he loved his whole life, the pup literally made him feel nothing but amazing. The happiest day of his life was when he got with the Shepherd. But right now, he was upset, confused and felt his heartbreaking. The mate who was meant to always be with him, was in the paws of some pup else, laughing and smiling with each other. Scent masked with one another. Always out all night, completely ignoring him. Marshall was hurting, he didn't want to think about Chase or the fact that his mate could potentially be cheating on him.

Without thinking twice, Marshall grabbed hold of Rocky's collar finally returning the kiss, completely confiding in each other. Feeling a sense of closure and healing, as if this is what they always needed. Even if their eyes weren't open, Marshall and Rocky finally saw clearly.

They got so lost in each other, the Dally let out a soft moan when the Mixed breed parted Marshall's lips with his tongue, slipping it inside the Dally's mouth, exploring every outer reach until he finally connected his tongue with Marshall's, bringing them closer together. The Mixed breed tattooed small circles down Marshall's chest, slipping his paws through his suit, making the Dally's heart race. Rocky lost his balance when a set of paws pressed against his chest as he fell to the floor with the Dally on top, breaking their kiss. They shared a longing gaze as both their lips lingered over each other, both in a daze, mind going hazy and heart slowly repairing the broken pieces.

Rocky caressed the side of Marshall's muzzle, slowly bringing him into another kiss.

Unfortunately, they pulled away when their tags lit up.

"Pups, the food's here, come on back so we could all eat." Just by hearing Ryder's voice, the Dally and Mixed breed came back to their senses.

'What just happened?'

That one thought lingered in their minds as they walked out the bathroom, both muzzles tinted scarlet as they got back up on the table, eyes looking at the plate of food instead of each other.

"Marshall, why's your suit wet?" The Dally's blushed hard, biting back a moan when he remembered Rocky's paws running down his chest, inside his light blue tux. He lowered his head, feeling a tail tapping against his side.

He found it hard to reply to the curious Cockapoo as every other pup stared at him. His mate tilted an ear in confusion.

"U-u-um, I, I-l-"

"He was helping me, I cut myself on broken mirror pieces." Rocky let out a nervous laugh, hoping that was enough to convince the pup. Luckily it was as they all turned back to each other and to their food, which Rubble already started chowing down on.

Marshall smiled sweetly, as he finally met the Mixed breed's gaze. Mouthing a 'thank you.' Before both ate their food in silence, trying to forget about the kiss.

Across the table, Zuma and Chase had almost finished their food, savoring each bite, their eyes met tenderly as both licked their lips clean. However, Chase had left a single strand of sauce beneath his lips. Zuma noticed, seeing all the pups' eyes turned away from them, including Ryder. The Lab took the opportunity, laying his tongue down the side of Chase's muzzle, across his lips before planting a passionate kiss, pulling away too soon.

"Bark, Zuma you can't be doing that here." The Labrador giggled, biting his bottom lip straight after. He leaned his muzzle to one of Chase's pointy ears, whispering words that should only be said in the bedroom. This only made the Shepherd blush hard, his heart skipping in beats. 'Enough with the teasing already, I don't know how much of this I can take,"

It was rolling around to evening, almost night when the Paw Patrol left, Ryder paid the bill under Mayor Goodway's name before the team got into a taxi, on the way back to the hotel.

Once they all reached the room, Ryder slipped into comfortable wear while Skye took a hot shower, already knowing how to turn the dials from cold to hot, adjusting the temperature until it was just right. She didn't mind sharing a bath with Rubble either, sure both were older and mature but the Cockapoo saw him as a little brother. Rocky and Marshall were on the couch, without saying a word to one another, helped each other undress, shaking their fur straight after. The Dally turned his head to face Chase as he walked towards them, nothing but just fur.

"Hey, Marshall, I need to talk to you." The Dally nodded, afraid of what was about to be said. They left the room, walking down the lobby on the first floor. They both kept their eyes away from each other, paws inches apart. They sat down on a wooden couch.

"What is it, Chase?" The Shepherd sighed, taking a deep intake of breath.

"Marshall, there's something I need to confess, it's hard finding the words because I didn't think I would have to tell you this, but I've been lying to you, I'm not just-"

"Chase!"

'Oh, for paws sake what now?!'

Blue and amber both looked behind them, eyes going wide.

"Max?" Chase jumped off his chair, giving the Jack a pawfive. "You're here in the same hotel? What, why?" The Beagle mix put a paw on Chase's lips, giggling before glancing over to the Dalmatian.

"You must be Marshall, we haven't been introduced, I'm Max." The Dally and Jack shook paws, just as frustrated Collie walked towards them.

"Nine hundred for a barking room, I may be famous but I don't have money coming out my paws. Max, let's go."

"Nice to see you too Shadow." The Collie waves a lazy paw before seeing a picture of beauty.

"Marshall, I haven't seen you since the day we met, how are you liking Miami?" The Shepherd growled at Shadow's flirtation towards his mate.

"It's really pretty, I like looking at palm trees." Chase's growls got louder when the Collie got closer. 'Weird seeing Chase react like this, he's been so distant with me the whole trip.'

"Hey, Shadow what did I tell you about going near my mate!" Marshall's jaw dropped, Chase became defensive as he stepped in front of the Dally, snarling at the Collie.

"Only messing with you Chase, you know you don't intimidate me. But I got a contest to win in a few days, I wonder if you'll even show up." Chase put a paw in front of him.

"Oh, you don't have to worry about that Shadow, I'll be there and I'll be the one winning too, I will wipe you out if it's the last thing I do!" The Shepherd sat up determined, a wide smirk going across his muzzle.

"I don't think you know what you're dealing with, I'm a pro. I don't ever lose!" Shadow turned away from the Shepherd, dragging his former mate away from the two. "I better see you tonight at the meet and greet, I've been telling the other competitors so much about you." Chase cocked his head to the side.

"Where?" Shadow grinned.

"South Beach, invitation-only, it's a private venue, Max, give him the get in pass." The Beagle mix ran towards the two, handing Chase a thick card, details of a late-night event for all competing surfers.

"I was meant to give this to you yesterday." How many hours were passed already in Adventure Bay? "You have to come or they can't put your name on the list and your substitute."

'Substitute?'

"Bring your friend if you want. Just don't be late, it starts at eight and it's six now. Takes 30 minutes to drive from here. I wouldn't recommend anything but a truck or a car. We rented one just so we don't have to take the RV. We left it outside the border in a park." Chase put his paw to his head, grinning back at the Collie.

"Oh, you don't have to worry about that." Marshall raised an eyebrow.

"Be there or you can't complete." With that, the Collie and Jack-A-Bee left the hotel.

"How are you going to get a truck Chase?" The Shepherd wriggled his eyebrows at his mate.

"I got the perfect plan."

Zuma was by the window, talking with a tired Skye.

"Miami is so pretty at night." The Lab nodded, letting out a yawn himself. He looked back, Rubble and Rocky were already sleeping on the couch, while Ryder laid down on the bed, switching through channels on the tv before turning the screen off. The boy rolled over, about to fall asleep when the door opened, a yawning Dalmatian walking in. He immediately jumped on the bed, curling next to his owner.

Zuma lowered his muzzle, still no sign of Chase. The Lab wondered where the Shepherd went and where he was now.

Suddenly, his tag lit up.

"Chase?"

"Meet me outside." Skye looked outside the window, eyes going wide.

"Um, Zuma?" Just as she turned back, the door closed. "Where the bark did Chase get that car from?" Skye shook her fur, head against her paws as she finally drifted off to sleep.

Zuma was just leaving the hotel when his lime green hues went wide. He ran down to the end of the pavement. There in front of him was Chase and next to him was a bright red Jeep, large open wheels, black rims to fit the black tires, a large paw print decal on the door which the Shepherd had opened for the Lab, windows rolled down while a fresh leather scent rang through Zuma's nose. A million questions in his mind.

"Whewe did you get this Jeep fwom?" Chase smiled, grabbing Zuma's paw as he jumped into the passenger's seat, the door closing behind him. Chase walked around jumping in at the driver's seat, paw at the wheel.

"I'll explain everything but all you need to know, the valet gave it to me and whatever we do, we can't crash it or the person or pet who owns this will most likely kill us." Zuma was really confused by now.

"So you stole it?" Chase shook his head, relief washing over Zuma's fur.

"I showed the valet my badge, told him I wanted to inspect his best looking car, and he gave this one to me, must have thought I was a cop or something." Zuma giggled.

"You kind of awe,"

"Exactly. So buckle up, I'm taking you for a drive." Zuma obeyed, putting his seatbelt on. Chase looked towards the road, putting his back paw on the accelerator, bringing the Jeep up to 10mph, backing up a little before driving at 30mph.

They had to go on a highway to reach South beach. Chase turned the steering wheel, changing the direction. He put more pressure on the accelerator, bringing speeds up to 50 and above.

From driving a police cruiser nearly all his life, he followed the laws of the road and driving, checking his rearview mirrors each time he changed lanes. All the while, Zuma looked to the right seeing pretty lights on tall skyscrapers as they drove past them. He had his paws on the bottom of the windows before looking back at the Shepherd who never took his eye off the road, he had a GPS in front of him, telling him where to go. Zuma raised an eyebrow at the destination hidden from his view.

"You haven't exactly told me whewe we'we going." As the Jeep was an automatic, in the middle was a pop-up seat. Zuma pressed a button, leaving his seatbelt as he took the seat closer to Chase, nuzzling into his side as he put his head next to the Shepherd's neck.

"It's a surprise."

They drove slower thanks to traffic, millions of cars showing up. Zuma put a paw on top one of Chase's, being careful not to accidentally turn the steering wheel as the Shepherd kept it straight, cruising down the highway.

Another paw lightly tapped the cassette player, radio playing instantly, lyrics immediately being sung.

# I'm caught up when you look at me, you let my heart breathe with ease

The song was light. Beautiful voice along with a chill, romantic beat. Zuma couldn't help bob his head in tune with the rhythmic symphony.

# Chasing stars in our galaxy, making our own make-believe

The Lab nuzzled deeper into Chase's fur as he changed lanes again, Zuma took his paw away, drawing small circles on the Shepherd's side, almost diverting his gaze from the road.

"Zuma, I'm driving." The Lab grinned.

"Well, you bettew not take your eyes off the woad."

'Great, fighting temptation again.' Chase had to catch his breath when Zuma leaned his muzzle up to one of his pointy ears, hot breath hovering, making all the hairs around his ear stand up. More sweet nothings being whispered.

# I want you when the sun goes low, your body warmth wants me close

Little giggles slipped through the Chocolate Labrador's lips as Chase's tail tickled his stomach.

"What are you laughing at?"

"Y-youw tail is tickling me, stop wagging it." Chase felt his heart flutter as Zuma continued giggling softly.

'Oh my paw, his laughter is infectious. I can't stop smiling whenever Zuma giggles.'

# You say you're always by my side, 'til my blood runs dry

"I can't stop wagging my tail, you make me so happy." While keeping one paw on the steering wheel, his other held the Lab. Zuma looked down at Chase holding his paw, black claws entwining with the webbed skin beneath.

Zuma for a moment, turned to face the road, looking to his left and right. The once rainbow lighted skyscrapers further back, now was a shimmering river. The full moon illuminating over the cool, blue water. Still, on the highway, Zuma looked at the miles and speed they were driving at, 50 reaching 70.

He sat back, seeing more buildings in his clear eye view, becoming starstruck at the technicolor lights running down the tall ones, and across the small buildings.

# And I know that I won't be the same without you, don't let this moment slip away

Chase softly sighed, fur brushing against fur. 'I really should've told Marshall the truth before he left.' He took a glance at Zuma staring starry-eyed, Chase's paw reached to his neck, taking off his collar.

"Why?"

"You'll see, pop your head out the window and feel the cold breeze against your fur, it feels amazing, especially when the wind hits your neck."

Zuma raised an eyebrow, running to the window to his right, sticking his head outside, hearing the passing cars, wheels spinning under him.

Chase was right, the feeling was indescribable.

# I'll take you for a drive, kiss me on the corner with your hand in mine

Chase moved his head with the slow, gentle song, tapping his paw on the steering wheel.

"I like this song." Zuma nodded his head in response, looking back out the window.

"Wemind me why we can't have the windows up?"

"We can, I'll just have to turn on the ac. Do you want them up?" Chase took a quick glimpse of the distracted Lab before darting his eyes towards the road.

"Yes, because these othew caws awe huwting my eaws." With a paw, The Shepherd pushed a button, all four windows of the car going up until the two pups could hear themselves think once more. Zuma went back to the middle, head laying on Chase's side once again. Suddenly going wide-eyed.

# Oh oh oh oh oh, say you love me too

"Your fur feels cold,"

"Chase, why awe we going to South beach?" The Lab looked more closely at the GPS. "You know I lived hewe."

# I'll give it to you

"Somewhere near Ocean Drive right?" Zuma shook his head as they changed lanes again, passing slow cars. "Check the time for me?"

"Alwight, sewiously, whewe awe we going? The stolen Jeep, the hidden GPS and now heading fow South beach. I'm stawting to think you'we pup napping me ow something and it's seven."

# Freeze time when we align, our love won't be confined

"I would have you tied up if I was." Zuma blushed, covering his muzzle with Chase's free paw. The thought of the Shepherd tying the Lab up as he did whatever he wanted to him without Zuma unable to fight back, made the Chocolate Labrador slightly aroused.

"Would you weally? Tie me up if you wanted to?" This time Chase was the one blushing, he shook his head of any intimate thoughts between him and Zuma.

"You know, you're about to make me turn this car around, and for the last time, it's not stolen… I just borrowed it."

# No way that the eye can hide, 'til my blood runs dry

"You, know you'we meant to be following the wules wight?" Chase laughed, slamming his paw on the steering wheel.

"You're acting like I'm about to get arrested, relax. Live a little Zuma." The Lab's lips slightly parted, he almost didn't recognize the German Shepherd who followed every rule in the book, taught wrong from right. Also, he was a cop. Zuma put his paw up.

"I'm not saying anything. It's just you'we not being youwself." Without taking his eyes off the road, speeding up a little when he saw the exit approach. Slowing down when he drove off the highway, he put a paw around the Lab, bringing him closer.

# And I know that I won't be the same without you, don't let this moment slip away

"Is that a bad thing?" Zuma instantly shook his head.

"No, I kind of like it." Chase smiled. "You could take the next exit?"

"This is closer to where your family is Zuma, I want to see the house you were born in. Don't you want to see it one more time too?

"Yeah."

#I'll take you for a drive, kiss me on the corner with your hand in mine

Chase pressed his back paw on the brake, slowly the car to a steady thirty before breaking completely when they came up to a stoplight. Zuma went deep in thought.

"Wemembew when we wewe at the westauwant?" Chase nodded in response, catching one of Zuma's ears with his canines, nibbling softly.

"Hmm, what about it? First time I got to see you in a suit and bark you looked beautiful." Zuma's jaw dropped, muzzle flushed in a rosy tint, he felt his heart stop before starting up again, skipping beats at the speed of light, forgetting what he was about to say. "Sorry, I didn't mean to fluster you, it's just you are Zuma." After two weeks, Chase gave up trying not to compliment the Lab. Amber met emerald in a loving, sweet gaze before the lights turned green.

# Oh oh oh oh oh, say you love me too

"Have you got to cuwse evewytime?" Chase barked in laughter, he almost could never say anything bad around Marshall as the Dally was not a big fan of cursing and Ryder who would always scowl Chase for saying such language.

"Yeah, I didn't care much when I was young, I'm three years old now and I can curse all I want." Zuma could only be speechless when Chase howled, paw going up and down on the accelerator. "Don't tell me you don't like it either?"

"No, no I don't cawe Chase." Reaching another stoplight, the Shepherd brought Zuma into a passionate kiss, intense and exciting. 'Thank Mother Nature these lights are long.' He let his lips linger over the Lab's own pair for a second, hearing a 'honk' behind him.

# Here to stay, you and I. Dancing in the color of the golden light

"We're on ocean drive. What road do I take to go down to your house?" Zuma looked out the window once more, guiding the Shepherd where to go. While the Lab was distracted, Chase took the opportunity to look down at the GPS, he'll have to take a slight detour, but he still had time. Keeping the pass under his collar, he took a left onto another street. Streetlights and palm trees following his path.

"It's along hewe." Chase was in a trance, eyes shooting sparks at the beautiful colorful houses.

# Oh oh oh oh oh, say you love me too

"Wow, you lived down this road? These houses are amazing, your owner before Ryder must have been wealthy?" Zuma shook his head.

"I didn't weally know them. They wewe both suwfews too, pwos. They wewe called Lucy and Kyle, I didn't think they liked me much."

"Why do you say that?" Chase tore his eyes away from the huge mansions, meeting with a saddened emerald pair.

# I'll give it to you

"I don't know, they liked Skye a lot. I think they wanted to adopt hew." Chase slammed his paw against the steering wheel, laughing hysterically.

"Good thing they didn't, she's already enough to handle back at the Lookout. You know, I wouldn't mind living here." Zuma's jaw dropped, suddenly seeing a familiar blue house.

"Wight thewe." Chase's ear perked up as he turned the steering wheel, moving the Jeep from the straight road, he parked outside a small public beach.

#I close my eyes

Leaving the keys still in, moving the gear shift from drive to park, the Shepherd opened the door, as he and the Lab both jumped out, both sets of eyes looking towards the light blue house. Soft outdoor lights were all around the white fence. Two Chocolate Labs sleeping outside the front door, paw on top of paw, muzzle against muzzle.

"Those are your parents?" Zuma nodded in response, a single tear rolling down his muzzle. Chase took the Lab into his paws.

"That's them."

"You look a lot like your mother, I mean with the fur, I don't know the color of her eyes." Zuma smiled, never taking his eyes off the blue house.

"Gween, just like mine. Me and Zac awe the only ones that have them while evewypup else has blue ow silvew." Chase was shocked.

"The bark, silver?" Zuma giggled, suppressing his laughter with a paw.

"Do you know what colow Skye's eyes awe?" Chase had to agree with him there.

# I don't wanna escape

"You left the wadio on?" Chase bit his lip, turning the Chocolate Lab to face him.

"I'm so happy, you're on the team Zuma. It really wouldn't be the same without you." The Shepherd brought the flustered Lab into a longing embrace as they stood under a golden streetlight.

# Let the tides rise in my heart

The chorus of the song played once more as Chase cupped Zuma's muzzle in his paw lovingly, bringing to Lab closer until they closed the gap between them, catching each other lips in a soft, passionate kiss. Leaving reality behind.

It was like the song that played predicted what was happening between the two pups, on the corner of the road, kissing under the golden light. What could be more perfect?

When the two pups pulled away, the song had ended, playing commercials instead. Both pups pressed their muzzles together, lips lingering letting the cold wind blow over there fur for a moment, before getting back in the Jeep.

"Awe you still not going to tell me whewe we'we going?" Chase grinned, front paw on the steering wheel while the other held the Chocolate Labrador close to him until fur brushed against fur. They left Ocean Drive, coming to a parking spot near South beach.

'7:50'

They both jumped out of the Jeep once more, this time a salty aroma running through their noses. Ears perked up at the waves breaking over the tides, towards the shoreline. Zuma cocked his head to the side, ears tilted in confusion. He was about to be hit with another surprise.

'I really hope he likes it.' Chase bit down on a small box that he had under the chair. Silver wrapping paper with a black ribbon. Zuma's name was written under it.

"Before we keep on going, I got something for you… I should've given you this gift a while back honestly, but I wasn't sure if you'd like it." Zuma stepped up closer to Chase, inches away from each other as the Shepherd leaned down, canines unraveling the ribbon until the wrapping paper came undone, revealing a silver box. 'Bark, why am I so nervous?' He delicately nuzzled the lid of the box, canines grabbing hold of a stunning accessory.

"Chase, I-is that…" Zuma was speechless, he couldn't accept such a gift.

"It's a paw couture collar, the newest one to date when I saw it, I knew that it would be perfect for you. Because the theme was the beach and they had many of the names inside." With a paw, the Shepherd flipped the utterly beautiful silver, diamond-encrusted collar inside out. White embroidered trim with cross stitch custom beach name. "I know California has a beach called Zuma so I know I had to get it for you. I should've given you this on your birthday, but when Rocky made you that surfboard. I thought nothing could compare to that."

Zuma was starstruck, his emerald irises glued to the beautiful collar shining under the moonlight. His mouth slightly agape as he put his paw over the soft material, the fabric was hand-stitched, layer after layer making it sturdy and strong, it had a coat of water-resistant paint. Time and detail were put into the making of this collar, it wasn't just silver, it had a navy blue highlight, almost iridescent. The diamonds had a rainbow glow going across them, last was the little silver metal anchor on a little clip.

Zuma was confused. Why did Chase think this wouldn't compare to the sunset themed surfboard? It was exquisite, luxurious. The Lab would even say this was the best collar in the world. Chase, still with the collar in his paw, lowered his muzzle, a deep blush spread across it. He lightly bit down on the fancy accessory while two paws wrapped around the starry-eyed Lab, running his paws to the click of his salmon collar, letting it slide to the floor below. He slipped the more expensive, iridescent silver collar on his neck instead. Once the collar was on, the Shepherd was immediately knocked off his paws, back hitting the pebble ground beneath as lips crashed onto his, paws running down his chest while one went up, caressing small circles along the side of Chase's muzzle as the Shepherd instantly returned the kiss. He flipped the Lab over as tongues connected in a passionate dance, fur coming in close contact. The kiss got deeper, although, they keep it slow and sensual. Completely wrapped in each other's paws, in an everlasting embrace.

After a while the two pulled away for air, catching their breath, a paw grazed over the silver anchor on the collar.

"It looks gorgeous on you Zuma, I'm a fool for not giving you it earlier." A paw lightly tapped against tan and brown fur.

"You awe a fool because I love it Chase! I mean it even has my name." A sweet, loving smile played on the Shepherd's lips.

Just as the two were about to pull each other into another kiss, their ears perked up at a reverberating beat playing, the bass was pumping and it was coming from South beach.

"Are you ready?" Zuma had no time to question where they were, once again as the two saw a very familiar pup walk towards them.

"Hey, you two made it!"

"Max!" Chase's smile grew as he watched the Lab hug his newfound friend. The Shepherd put a paw up, waving to the Beagle Mix.

"Got here just in time too. By the way, that's a stunning collar Zuma, it looks expensive." The Lab didn't even think to question how much money Chase had spent on the neck accessory. He looked back at the Police pup who was sitting up, smiling sheepishly.

"Max, What awe we doing hewe, Chase won't tell me anything." Max giggled, while Chase put his paw to his lips, zipping them shut. Zuma growled as he got dragged away from the parking spot to the beach that was meant to be closed, however, it was open. The Lab's eyes went wide.

"It's a private party for all the pups that will be surfing in the contest in a few days." Chase put a paw around Zuma, bringing him closer as he huskily whispered one word to the Lab.

"Surprise." A meet and greet, that's what they came for, the long drive, the romantic song playing on the radio, the hidden GPS. Was it the fact that they were at Zuma's birthplace, where he first ever surfed. Or did Chase want to surprise the Lab by seeing the Beagle Mix again?

Question after question spiraled in Zuma's mind as they walked to the entrance. Max walked through immediately, running over to the Violet-eyed Collie. Once Chase showed his pass, the bouncer let both of them in. They walked over to the other two.

It really was a party, the beach was packed with many surfers, pups who had appeared in magazines and tv commercials, their boards next to them. Somewhere were already on the water as the tide had already come in. Max dragged Chase to a group of surfers.

"Hey, guys here's the pup I was talking about." They all said 'hi', while an Australian Shepherd raised an eyebrow.

"Have you ever been in a competition before Chase?" The Shepherd shook his head, glancing over to Zuma talking with Max while both had a drink of water.

"Surfing no. This is my first time." Many of the pups giggled, while a grey Husky put a paw around the Shepherd.

"Shadow said you were a newbie. Well, I wish you luck. Because not only are the waves big in Ponce, there's a lot of pups you got to take out or score big." Chase rolled his eyes, in one day, the Paw Patrol would have to travel four hours to Orlando, to a beach called Ponce Inlet where the competition was being held. "You know, you do well here, you should come ride Pipe with us next year." Just as the Shepherd was about to respond, a paw pulled him away.

"Don't go, Pipeline has the bombast waves going, you'we cwazy if you think you can even pass one." Zuma nuzzled into Chase's fur, emerald eyes pleading.

"Who said I was going to ride any more waves after this? I mean, I really do like surfing and I won't stop doing it. But competitions are not for me, besides," A paw pulled the Lab in closer before husky whispers could be heard. Hot breath hovering over one of the Lab's floppy ears. "We could just go to Hawaii for a vacation, you and me and no pup else when rescues are slow. We'll hijack the air Patroller." Zuma put a paw to Chase's torso, raising an eyebrow in disbelief.

"You can't fly." Chase grinned.

"Skye can, she'll do anything for you." Zuma couldn't disagree, the Cockapoo really adored the Chocolate Labrador.

"No, Chase." The Shepherd put his paw up, giving the Lab a teasing lick down the side of his muzzle.

Suddenly, he was dragged away once again, this time towards the check-in list.

"Put your name down and you can surf with us," Chase growled at the cocky Collie, holding a pen in his canines. Chase grabbed it with his paw, writing his name down in the book, feeling a sudden nervousness take over.

'Bark, this is really happening.' Shadow rolled up the list, a cocky smirk playing on his muzzle as he sprinted away.

"See you at the finish line if I don't wipe you out first!"

Once meeting some of the other competitors, Chase walked back to the Lab balancing a treat on his nose before flipping it over, grabbing it with his canines.

"Cool trick." Zuma smiled, letting the vibrations of the music ring in his ears. He saw many of the surfing pups bobbing their head to the tune, some were even dancing, either in each other's paws or next to one another. Zuma recognized a pair, SkullRider, and Breezeblue, as they called themselves, a silver Lab and a Cocker Spaniel. He was sure one of them was related to his Cockapoo friend. They were one of the only couples in the competition, never really bothered the pair they had to be against each other.

"Thanks," Zuma put a paw to his collar, flipping it over slightly, reading the unforgettable words.

'Zuma, a name so beautiful as the cool blue ocean in Malibu.'

Chase smiled, looking over at the pups dancing, heart increasing as a rosy blush spread across his muzzle when he unexpectedly stepped in front of the Chocolate Lab, holding his paw out as Zuma cocked his head to the side.

"Dance with me."

The Water pup was taken by surprise. He had never seen Chase dance or knew he could. Zuma was the same, he never really danced unless it was with some pup he felt comfortable with. The only pup that came close to that was Rocky. Memories flooding back before Zuma shook his head of any thoughts of the Mixed breed. He returned his gaze to the pup in front of him, bashfully looking down then up, trying not to get lost in Zuma's enticing eyes.

The song that was playing had come to a close, a more upbeat one with smooth lyrics playing after. A song that the Lab felt could be perfect.

A second went by before Zuma finally let Chase grab his paw, biting his bottom lip as the Shepherd led them on the dance floor.

Max was by the stage, yawning from tiredness, watching the Collie shaking his hips with a fluffy Poodle. He put his paws together, glancing over at the two Paw Patrol pups wrapping their paws around each other, pulling one another close until there was no more space between them. Max raised a curious eyebrow nodding his head to the beat, soft lyrics being sung.

# Do you feel alright? Do you need me by your side?

Both Zuma and Chase began moving their paws to the beat, both in synchronization with the music and each other. Their bodies both flow with the rhythm. The heavy soft bass, blowing over their fur as they lost each other in the magic of the song.

While letting his instincts take over, Chase watched endlessly at Zuma's flawless movements, paws moving back and forth as his head swung side to side, tail swaying in time with the music. A loving smile playing on the Shepherd's lips as he never took his eyes away.

# We go out all night, makes the pain hurt a little less

Chase wasn't the only one in a trance, Zuma was amazed how the Shepherd danced, he really let the music take over. The two got a little closer when they realized they danced out of each other's paws. Their fur brushed up against each other, bodies heating up by the second. Zuma wrapped his paws around Chase's neck, slipping his claws under the Shepherd's collar, feeling bare fur underneath.

Risking it, Chase ran his front paws down the Lab's back, groping lightly at his sides, earning a sharp gasp from Zuma in response. His mind going blank, he looked at the other pups dancing, they were all close together, fur brushing against fur, paws running over their bodies.

# Do it one more time, 'cause it feels so justified

Chase buried his muzzle in the crook of Zuma's neck, inhaling his sweet-smelling aroma, mixed with the sea, his back paws swiftly moving back and forth while front ones continued gliding down soft chocolate fur.

Zuma's scent becoming stronger and more addicting to pull away from. Chase's canines came in contact with the base of the Lab's neck, giving it a light, tender nibble followed by soft sucking as lips grabbed hold of the fur beneath, teeth grazing against skin.

# We go out all night, see you fall, pick you up again

"Hmm, Chase, stop…" The Shepherd didn't listen, he didn't care who was in front of him or behind, he wanted a taste of the pup who he can't resist.

"Why? You like it, I can tell, just keep dancing Zuma. I won't mark you I promise." How long until that promise was broken? Chase had already left so many light marks along the Lab's neck, most covered by his thick coat of fur.

The Lab obeyed, paws never stopped moving to the beat of the song. It held a similarity to him and Chase the more he listened to it.

# If your eyes are sad, it makes me sad too. You got me so overprotective, it's true

The Shepherd's paws wrapped more securely around the Lab's neck, his scent slightly arousing Chase as he stepped one paw out of sync, his mouth pulling away while eyes looked over at the Collie, he left the Poodle now swinging his paws with Max, he got so into the song, he mounted the Beagle mix, standing on his hind legs behind the Jack, paws up in the air. Was it the music, the privacy or was it just Shadow couldn't control his instincts? Max didn't even seem to mind as he wiggled his rear end teasingly.

Chase turned his gaze away, getting lost in shimmering green pools of beauty. Paw grabbing hold of the silver collar, Zuma was pulled closer until his muzzle was pressed against Chase's.

"Bark Zuma, you really are beautiful."

# Feel like I would jump off buildings for you. It's okay, I'll watch you cry all night, I promise I won't let you go

The Lab blushed, happy that that darkness covered it as Chase cupped his muzzle, bringing him into a soft, passionate kiss, licking across Zuma's lips afterward. Chase dragged his tongue back to the Lab's neck, paw at his collar, running over to the clip. Before the silver collar could fall to the sandy beach below, Chase slipped it under his own collar. Taking in Zuma's essence once more as he drifted away from his mind, letting desire and lust take over.

All the while Zuma was catching his breath, both from his body flowing with the beat, making his heart race until his tongue rolled out of his mouth. And from Chase's muzzle buried deep in his neck, planting soft butterfly kisses, licking over each one, while a paw ran down to Zuma's tail, rubbing it up and down, squeezing the tip.

#I'll pull you close, so close, so close, I'll never you let you go, you know

Zuma bit back a moan, throwing his head back in pleasure, only exposing more of his exquisite neck to Chase who dug his canines deep in his skin, piercing the bone as droplets of blood appeared, the Shepherd licked away the crimson liquid, muzzle resting in the crook once more as he whispered sweet nothings to the Lab.

The music slowed as the DJ switched the tempo, before changing it back to fast with a slight synth.

# Head on my chest, a silver cross. You can cry all night, I'll never let you go

Zuma knew just by the stinging sensation, that Chase broke his promise. But why?

"Chase, why did you mawk me?" The Shepherd pulled his muzzle away from soft, glossy fur, facing the very confused Lab. His mind suddenly went blank.

"The heat of the moment, your scent was just like a drug, I couldn't resist." They both stopped dancing for a second, green meeting amber, matching blushes across their muzzles.

# I pull you close, so close, so close, I'll never you let you go, you know

Chase ran a paw over the mark, it could be seen for miles with how deep it was. Zuma moaned at the feeling of the Shepherd's paws on his fur once more before turning his muzzle to the side.

'Just in the heat of the moment? Is this all we awe?' Chase cupped Zuma's muzzle in comfort looking at his suddenly glassy eyes.

# Head on my chest, a silver cross

'Stupid, why did I say that?' While the Shepherd had a battle in his mind, he ran his paws over to the Lab's neck, pulling him into a close embrace, paws moving to the reverberating beat again, Zuma faked a smile returning the embrace as he buried his muzzle in the crook of Chase's neck, planting a small kiss just above his collar while inhaling the Police pup's scent.

Zuma softly sighed, a single tear rolling down the side of his muzzle, his tail swayed slowly while paws found themselves moving back and forth. This didn't go unnoticed by Chase, who nuzzled the side of Zuma's muzzle, lifting up one of his ears so he could speak.

"Zuma, I shouldn't have said that. Knowing all that's happened with you. The mark I just gave you wasn't in the heat of the moment…" Chase found it hard to find the words, a nervous lump in his throat as he struggled to talk.

# You can cry all night, I'll never let you go (Never let you go)

"W-What did it mean then?"

"It had meaning behind it, I wouldn't just give you a mark just to please you..." At this point the Lab pulled his muzzle away from Chase's neck, facing him instead.

"Chase, it's okay. I twust you" The Shepherd smiled, a loving, tender smile. His heart racing more than ever. Could this be it, the time to finally let his true emotions out?

# Lie awake 'till dawn, face to face and palm to palm

"I know right now, I should be concentrating on dancing and the party, but ever since our drive, I've been thinking about you a lot. What we've been through, how much our relationship has changed in these past three weeks. How I wanted nothing more than to make you smile Zuma because you should never be allowed to cry. That's all I want to see when I wake up next to you, that's all I want to see when I go to sleep with you in my paws… I can't even think straight right now, all these feelings, all these thoughts… I look at you and my mind is spinning." Chase lowered his head, sighing softly, his once brown and tan muzzle now scarlet red.

"Chase…" A paw placed against the Lab's lips.

# Do you feel okay? All your problems are far away (so far away)

Chase ran his paw down Zuma's bare neck, to his torso where he could feel the Lab's heartbeat.

"Bark, I'm so scared. You aren't even my mate yet and I was talking about eloping with you!" Zuma's eyes went wide, 'yet'. "I meant what I said, I'll gladly break off the contract that I had with Marshall to go off-road with you. We could travel the world, surf every beach. I don't care as long as I'm with you."

# Lying 'till it's true. It's alright I'm trusting you

"What contwact?" Chase took a deep breath, running his paw back to Zuma's muzzle, caressing small circles on the side.

"When we leave the Paw Patrol, I and Marshall were going to continue being rescuers in some state. No more a traffic cop, I was going to be with the NYPD. A real cop but I don't want to do that anymore. Zuma, I want to be with you," The Lab could only stare dumbstruck, eyes in a deep, confused daze. "Bark, I wanted to tell you this later, after the contest but I can't hold it in, I'm scared what this feeling is, each close embrace, each sweet kiss. I just don't want it to ever stop."

# Do you feel okay? Take a breath, make you feel safe

'Stupid Max showing up at the wrong time, I shouldn't be saying all this while I'm still mates with Marshall.'

Chase pulled Zuma closer until their foreheads touched, noses rubbing affectionately, their lips lingering over each other, both in loving embrace once again. They listened to the soft music playing, paws staying in place.

"Chase, whatevew you want to say to me, say it please." The Shepherd felt his eyes stain with water.

# If your eyes are sad, it makes me sad too

Zuma was shocked, Chase had never cried in front of him before.

"I thought I was too late, I keep pushing these emotions away, trying to forget you… But I couldn't Zuma. Even when we were younger, I've always… You have no idea how much I care about you, I didn't know why I was feeling this way at first but now being next to you in barking Miami, about to surf in this crazy competition which honestly, I'm terrified about. But I'm so happy that I'm here. We've gotten so much closer."

# You got me so overprotective, it's true, feel like I would jump off buildings for you

Zuma couldn't hold the tears that had been fighting their way to escape, a row ran down his muzzle as he continued listening to Chase's heartfelt confession.

"Why, would you want to fowget me, Chase?" The Shepherd giggled stupidly, wiping a paw over his glassy eyes.

"I thought I would never have a chance. You were so in love with Rocky, it was written all over your muzzle. Even if my feelings weren't as strong as they are now, I knew back then I wanted to be with you. So I thought it was better letting go than keep on waiting. I couldn't bear to see you with another pup when…" Zuma gave himself a mental slap, he couldn't believe what his former rival and teammate was saying to him.

# It's okay, I'll watch you cry all night, I promise I won't let you go

"He loves you too, I'm still biting my claws that you'll give him another chance and I'll lose you all over again-" Chase could no longer let any more words out as a paw pressed against his lips.

"Wocky told me eawliew, I told him to let go. I'm not going to keep getting my heawt bwoken Chase." Zuma removed his paw putting it with the others.

# I'll pull you close, so close, so close. I'll never you let you go, you know

"He treated you wrong, let me be the pup to treat you right." Zuma was speechless, his mind going completely blank as a paw wrapped around the back of his head, Chase caught the Lab's lips in an intensely passionate kiss, pouring every ounce of emotion as lips moved over Zuma's softly, in loving synchronization just as the Lab returned the kiss, wrapping two front paws around Chase's neck, slipping them under his collar, feeling nothing but bare fur beneath. One paw went even lower where he could feel Chase's heartbeat against his soft paw pads.

# Head on my chest, a silver cross. You can cry all night, I'll never let you go

"Chase, I don't undewstand. What awe you twying to say to me?" The Shepherd put a paw to his head.

'I thought I was meant to be the clueless one.'

Chase took another deep intake of breath, about to say what his heart's been trying to let out this whole time, finally listening to it, lips parted but no words came out.

"Chase?" The Shepherd shook his head, his gaze glued to Zuma, looking into his confused emerald orbs.

# I'll pull you close, so close, so close. I'll never you let you go, you know

"I-I-I…" 'Bark, you've got to be kidding me. Come on, you're meant to be an Alpha for paws sake, I shouldn't be this nervous right now. I wasn't like this with Marshall, then again… He's not Zuma…'

"Want to dance to the last pawt of the song befowe you tell me?" Zuma held out a sentimental paw to which Chase slowly took, the Lab pulled the Shepherd in a close, comforting embrace. Back paws swaying slowly as the beat was softer, about to end, a set of lyrics being repeated until they closed. Chase held Zuma close, fur brushing against fur. His muzzle was buried in the crook of the Lab's neck, gentle licks going over silky, warm fur.

# Head on my chest, a silver cross, you can cry all night, I'll never let you go

The last five words being sung before the song ended completely, the DJ announcing a quick food break as he jumped off the stage. All the competitors stopped dancing, going over to the water as the waves started breaking. Max and Shadow had completely disappeared, nowhere to be seen.

Zuma and Chase stayed in their embrace, paws coming to a slow halt as they stopped what had become a light waltz. Chase cupped Zuma's muzzle lovingly, caressing the side with a gentle claw, making the Lab's eyes go wide while it felt like time had stopped when Chase finally found the words.

"Zuma, I'm in love with you."

For the rest of the party, Zuma was speechless, he said nothing to any pup including Chase who sat close to him, looking out towards the horizon and the surfers catching waves. He knew it was best to leave Zuma to his thoughts. Even if Chase was hoping the Lab doesn't become distant with him.

It had reached midnight, the moon turning its course as it hung above the ocean. Many of the pups were leaving, going back to their hotels and houses, preparing and resting for the contest in a couple of days. Shadow and Max came back before the beach closed, collecting their collars and giving a competitor a ride home. Both their fur a mess, ears flipped so pink parts were showing. As they left, Zuma said goodbye to the Beagle mix, returning back to the tides where Chase was, paws dipping into the ocean, ears perking up at the sound of paws running towards him, eyes refusing to meet each other.

After a while, Chase broke the silence, turning around as they headed back to the Jeep.

"Let's go back to the hotel Zuma…" The Lab regretted not saying a word to Chase's confession, how long he kept his feelings away must have been hurting him, before they could jump into the car, Zuma pulled Chase's collar. The Shepherd tilted an ear in confusion, sad story eyes blinking as he tried not to look back at the pup he had fallen for. Zuma lowered his muzzle, emerald greens looking down at the ground below, cold wind blowing over his bare fur, paw pulling the Shepherd closer.

"Chase, evew since we had ouw fiwst kiss… I stawted catching feelings fow you, feelings that didn't make sense at fiwst, because I still loved Wocky, my heawt telling me to give him one last chance, I knew it would only huwt mowe than letting him go. That's what I did, I pushed evewy thought of him away, it was bettew being alone than being with a pup who wouldn't even tell me how he feels. I know now, I'm not alone… I nevew was because I have you Chase… I can't say I feel the same but I do have feelings fow you too, I want to fall in love with you… I want to one day be youw mate, and I don't cawe what we do when we leave the team, as long as we'we togethew."

The Shepherd immediately threw his paws over the Chocolate Labrador, knocking him to the ground as he captured Zuma's lips in a powerful, magical kiss. Letting go of his doubts and worries, getting entirely lost with the Lab. Zuma instantly returned it, wrapping his paws around Chase's neck, one running along honey brown fur, making little hairs stand on edge. With a paw Chase ran it down Zuma's chest, tattooing small circles going further down to his sides which he lightly squeezed. The sudden touch made a small muffled moan escape Zuma's lips. Chase took this as the perfect opportunity to slip his tongue inside, first exploring every outer reach of the Water pup's mouth before finding and connecting with the Lab's own tongue. Rolling over each other in a passionate dance, fur feeling hot to the touch.

Chase ran his tongue along Zuma's bottom lip, canines coming out to play as he lightly nibbled over the soft flesh, body grinding over the smaller pup. Chase dragged his tongue from the base of Zuma's jawline, going higher to the side of his muzzle, planting soft kisses until his hot breath was hovering over one of Zuma's ears, fallen flat. This only made the Lab moan more, wrapping his back paws over Chase's lower waist, bucking his hips up, needing more friction.

"Ch-Chase…?" Zuma whispered between breaths while Chase nipped the fur around his ear.

"Yes, Zuma?" The Chocolate Lab couldn't refuse temptation anymore.

"I don't want to go back to the hotel just yet…" Zuma struggled to talk, his tongue rolling over his mouth, panting while Chase ran a paw down his navel, teasing Zuma to no end. While lips were now on the Lab's neck, planting soft butterfly kisses, teeth grazing against delicate skin until the Water pup's fur turned red. "Chase. You. Love. Me. Wight?" How could he not?

"Yes, Zuma. I love you." Two paws ran to a black and white collar, lips pulling away until they were lingering over Zuma's own pair.

"Show me." Chase could swear he was dreaming, Zuma's emerald's hues grew big and a shade darker, desire and want written all over them. Chase took a quick glimpse at the Jeep than the pup below him, paw clutching onto his collar.

"Are you sure you want to, you're not ready?" Zuma shook his head, moans slipping through his lips as he connected them with Chase's own pair.

"Mate me, Chase, I can't wait any longew, you make me want you so bad… I need you tonight…" The Shepherd choked on his own spit, his muzzle flushed. Nerves returning, making his heart race. It wouldn't just be with the pup he was truly in love with, it would be his first time, how he wished it was Zuma's too.

Without thinking and contemplating any longer. He jumped off Zuma, taking him towards the red Jeep, doors swung open as they both jumped in. They were still in a parking space, anyone could walk by. Chase hoped the car wouldn't die as he rolled up the windows, putting the key in the ignition, turning on the ac to keep them cool even if it was about to get really hot.

Zuma went over to the back seats as they were longer and wider, more like a bed. Taking a deep breath, Chase followed him, meeting the Lab's longing, deep gaze. He cupped a paw on the side of Zuma's muzzle, pushing him to the black leather seats beneath, just by looking at the Lab's innocence. Even if he was no longer a virgin, he still had the look of purity.

'Bark, why am I so nervous?' Chase shook his head, climbing on top of the Lab, already softly kissing him, Zuma returned the kiss almost immediately. Chase ran a slight shaky paw down the Lab's chest, flicking his claws over Zuma's small pink nubs until they became somewhat perky. The kiss got deeper as tongues connected once more in a battle for dominance, a passionate dance. Lips moving over each other in sweet synchronization. Chase kept the kiss slow, wanting the moment to last, letting out a slight growl as Zuma's claws scratched down his back, to his tail which he stroked softly, pinching the tip.

Desperately needing Zuma's touch all over his body. Chase stopped caressing, unbuckling his collar as he threw it onto the passenger seat, falling under. The Shepherd grabbed Zuma's paws, claws digging into his skin as he placed them on his chest.

"Touch me." Zuma obeyed, running both his paws down Chase's chest, drawing lines until he reached his goal, wrapping his paw over Chase's shaft, stroking up and down with a claw flicking the tip. "Bark. I didn't expect you to go that low." Chase growled, pulling away from another kiss, throwing his head back, paws each side of the Lab's head as he held himself up. Only one touch and Zuma was already driving him crazy. Each growl, each grunt turned the Lab on more and more. His paw went a little faster, picking up the pace and he gave Chase's member long strokes until he could hear the Shepherd catching his breath. Zuma's paw alone was enough to make Chase release too soon, but he couldn't.

In one simple motion Chase flipped them over, Zuma was now on top, already knowing what the Shepherd wanted, he laid his tongue across Chase's lips, giving him a sensual lick, dragging his tongue to Chase's bare neck, planting soft butterfly kisses, licking sensually over them before nipping fur until he was by Chase's torso, teasing his small nubs, gently sucking each one. Going each lower, Zuma planted a single kiss by the Shepherd's navel. A paw running through soft chocolate-colored fur as Chase found his breath once again. Each kiss and lick was like ecstasy to him, a sensation he never wanted to stop. He never knew how sensitive he was to Zuma's touch.

Once was a soft, tender moment turned wild and passionate as Chase threw his head back in pleasure, gripping the leather seats with his claws, digging into the fabric as he felt Zuma's hot breath above his wanting shaft. An aroused, husky growl escaping his lips.

Before giving in to his desires, Zuma took a glance at Chase, eyes closed in anticipation, lips twisting into a smile. He never expected Chase to be like this, when he said 'mate' he didn't think Chase would want to take their time. More things Zuma couldn't help himself love about the Shepherd.

Without any more time passing by, Zuma leaned his mouth down, laying a slow lick over the tip. Chase pushed his hips up, the most sexist growl Zuma ever heard escaping his lips. Zuma shushed them with a paw which Chase began giving long sensual licks too.

Zuma felt a ticklish feeling against his paw as Chase's hot breath blew against it. He gave another lick to the Shepherd's shaft tracing a line of saliva from the base then down Chase's member before going upwards, sending repeated joints of pleasure through Chase's body, fur on fire, swinging his head left and right.

"Zuma… Stop barking teasing me, go faster already." The Lab didn't have to be told twice as he felt Chase buck his hips up once more. His Alpha howls and growls were music to the Lab's ears, making Zuma's craving for pleasing Chase get stronger. He went from slow to fast licks, wrapping his lips around the tip of the Shepherd's shaft being rewarded with a sharp gasp.

Zuma moaned slightly when he could taste some of Chase's sweet arousal, making him want more, like the best treat he could ever get. The Lab may be an omega, never really wanting to take control or be on top, but he had Chase right under him, begging and pleading for release. But Chase wasn't submitting in any way, he was demanding Zuma to go faster, and that only excited the Chocolate Lab further, where he was moaning against Chase's shaft, warm vibrations running along his length. Zuma shuffled his back paws together, feeling a wet substance drip from his own length.

Sneaking his own paw down his stomach, grabbing hold of his own shaft, no longer able to resist his own arousal. Zuma stroked himself while laying three licks at the base of Chase's shaft, sending him into an ocean of bliss.

Feeling hotter by the second, Zuma wrapped his tongue around Chase's length, giving a taunting swirl. The Shepherd threw his head back in pleasure once more, paws either side of him as he continued to scratch the leather seat, not taking into consideration that they were being destroyed. He was too much on cloud 9 right now to care, feeling nothing but ecstasy.

Zuma's moans got louder by the second leading Chase to open his eyes, taking a gander at the Lab in between his back paws. His eyes going wide, only feeling more pleasure at both Zuma giving him the best experience of his life and giving himself pleasure at the same time. Chase almost reached his boiling point just by looking at Zuma's pleasurable expression.

Before another thought could enter the Shepherd's mind, he suddenly sank back down to the leather car seats as Zuma trailed a slow, sensual lick to the tip, licking over the head, nipping in a teasing manner.

"Ahh! Bark, Zuma how are you so good at this…?" The Lab's lips curved into a small smile giving another few teasing licks, grazing his canines lightly against the tip before wrapping his lips around the Shepherd's shaft, fully bringing his mouth down. The edges of his lips brushing the soft skin around the tip while his paw went faster. Zuma was losing his mind, the more the minutes went by.

The paw that was by Chase's lips, now ran down his chest, teasing the little pink nubs, making them perky. Chase finally stopped torturing the poor chair as he grabbed one of Zuma's wavy ears, paw pads softly playing with it. Each little touch from Chase was driving Zuma crazy as he brought his mouth down than up, Chase's shaft twitched in response from each movement he got from Zuma as he continued moaning, humming along the Shepherd's member, vibrating to the tip.

Chase caught his breath, the thought of the pup he loves touching himself was bringing Chase closer and closer to his release. Zuma plants a soft kiss along the tip, dragging his tongue down the Shepherd's shaft before wrapping his lips against the tip, bringing his mouth up and down once again. Chase dug his claws slightly into the ear he was fondling.

"I know the climax you give yourself won't be enough to satisfy you, so go faster so I can give you a feeling you will never forget." Zuma found his release, howling loudly as he took his mouth away from a second, his shaft twitching, his arousal flowing out, landing on the leather chair while some landing on the back of his paw.

Finding his composure once again, he went back to pleasing Chase while he ran the paw that was once pleasing himself, to the Shepherd's lips to which Chase instantly started licking intimately, tasting all the sweet arousal that was on Zuma's paw.

"You taste like heaven Zuma… Bark I can't wait to be inside you." Neither could he.

Zuma pushes his tongue passed the underside of Chase's length, making the Shepherd howl loudly, swinging his head left and right. The Lab brings his mouth fully down as the Shepherd's member hits the back of his throat, going back up in a quick swift movement.

"Barking hell Zuma… Don't stop I'm so close." The Lab had no intention of stopping, still with his mouth over Chase's shaft, he began nipping at each part of the skin, hearing more erotic growls in response. Sure they were in a car, in an open space, but Chase's growls were the best sound in the world, they instantly turned Zuma on again, his shaft leaving its cover-up.

He gave another taunting swirl around the length, coaxing it in warm, wet saliva until he was at the tip once more, biting hard but not enough to hurt Chase who felt no pain only pleasure. He bucked his hips against Zuma, wrapping his back paws around the Lab's head, pushing him deeper.

Zuma could taste more of Chase's arousal, he was closer than ever, his howls getting louder, up to the point where his voice became raspy and breath became harder to catch. Chase began heavily panting, his tongue rolled out of his mouth while his paw held tightly onto Zuma's. The Lab felt Chase's back paws wrap around his head more tightly, twitching from his upcoming climax. Zuma laid three licks from top to bottom, striking a long swirl back up.

Chase finally felt his climax hit, as he reached his boiling point. Letting out a single howl of release as his paws twitched beneath him. He began catching his breath while Zuma licked up his arousal, it tasted sweet with a thick musk. Chase pulled Zuma's mouth away before he started overwhelming the Shepherd.

Zuma licked his lips, enjoying his sweet, tasting treat before meeting lips with Chase in an intense, passionate kiss. The Lab could only moan as he felt a tug when Chase found his tongue, connecting with his as they massaged over each other, tongues caressing one another with slight aggression. Chase could taste himself on the Lab's tongue, making their liplock more heated.

The two soon pulled away, eyes locked in a deep loving gaze, amber meeting green before Zuma traced a line of saliva along Chase's jawline to the side of his muzzle, up to his ear where Zuma began nipping lightly on the tip, letting out an aroused moan.

"Do you know how much your moans excite me, Zuma?" A soft smile played on the Lab's lips, hot breath hovering against Chase's ear, making little hairs stand on edge.

"Did I please my Alpha well?" Playing that card again was Zuma trying to make Chase's heart stop. "Do I get to be wewawded now, Chase…?" The Shepherd lightly chuckled, flipping them over once more, so now he was on top. He sat up in front of Zuma, chocolatey tail swishing side to side, tickling the Shepherd's stomach.

"Roll over Zuma." Chase was being such a dominant, his low husky voice flowing softly through the Lab's ears. He instantly obeyed, rolling onto his stomach, following his natural instincts as he got up onto all fours, leaning his head down, muzzle pressed into the leather car seats. He was happy all the lights were turned off.

But with the car still on, they could risk the battery dying out and being stranded in South beach for the night, however, neither Zuma or Chase cared right now. As they got lost in each other.

Zuma submitted, tail lifting high up in the air. Immediately he felt Chase's snout under his tail, taking in the strong musk that Zuma had from being so aroused. The Lab moaned, feeling a wet sensation rubbing against his entrance. He wiggled his rear end in a teasing manner making Chase's muzzle bury deeper, he laid his tongue over the Lab's outer rim, laying a set of slow, sensual licks while a soft paw ran down Zuma's sides, squeezing them which only made Zuma's moans louder, untamable.

Each lick sent erotic jolts right through Zuma's body. Chase soon pulled his muzzle away, licking his lips in desire before he dusted any lustful thoughts away. He started licking the Lab's entrance again, running his tongue across the outer rim, feeling it clench beneath his lips before relaxing in succession. Zuma arched his head back, letting out another moan at the familiar yet new feeling.

It wasn't easy to part virgins from not virgins in males and Chase knew that as he poked his tongue at the Lab's entrance, feeling the tightness push his tongue back.

'He's so tight, should I be worried if I will hurt him or not?' Chase tried not to get carried away, as much as his natural instincts were telling him to mount the Lab already, Chase cared about him too much. He kept his tongue firmly at the center, poking once more. Breaching the surface as he pushed his tongue inside the Lab's entrance.

"Sweet mothew natuwe, yes!" Chase growled against Zuma's entrance while he let out an ear-shattering howl, pushing his hips back needing the wet sensation deeper inside him, his head was thrown back in sudden euphoria as an exquisite rush vibrated throughout his entire body. His insides clenching against the Shepherd's tongue as it moved inside, swirling further, stretching the Lab out in return, prepping him to be mated.

Zuma howled when he felt Chase's tongue pull away, leaving his entrance with a wet 'pop' sound, a strand of saliva hanging from his lips as he pulled his muzzle away, catching his breath while Zuma did the same. The Shepherd watched Zuma's outer rim squeezed back to its original position, tight yet just the way that drove Chase crazy.

Waiting no more, the Shepherd mounted Zuma, wrapping his two front paws around the Lab's neck in a secure, comfortable hold while his back paws moved forward until they rested where they needed to be. Chase leaned his muzzle to the back of Zuma's head, catching one of his floppy ears with his canines.

"Are you sure you want this Zuma because there's no going back from now? I love you so much and the last thing I want to do is make you regret this night." Chase softly whispered, nibbling along the glossy fur around Zuma's ear.

"Chase, stop being so modest and mate me alweady, I need you." Chase smiled, letting his canines bite a little harder until he let Zuma's ear free, falling to his side. Chase stepped an inch closer, fur coming into close contact with each other as his shaft brushed against the Lab's entrance, the Shepherd adjusted himself in the right position, his member throbbing in want. "Please me my Alpha…"

Zuma sharply gasped, an ear-shattering howl following after as Chase slowly slips his shaft inside, feeling the Lab's entrance tighten around him. Zuma instantly moaned when he feels Chase move his shaft upwards, giving Zuma that full feeling that he hasn't been able to get for a while. Missing mating way too much.

He'd admit Chase was a lot bigger than the Mixed breed. Zuma bit his lip as he felt a small ounce of pain along with the immense pleasure. A small whimper escaped the Lab's lips, flowing to Chase's ears, with the paws that were wrapped around Zuma's neck, he ran one to the Lab's muzzle.

"Do you want me to stop." He watched Zuma immediately shake his head.

"N-no, the pain will go away Chase, please don't stop, you'we making me feel so good wight now." Being insecure about being a leader, along with compassion for making Zuma feel good, he felt a sense of pride, at least he could hold out to that.

To make the pain feel less enduring, Chase started trailing a line of saliva along the back of Zuma's neck, hearing fewer whimpers and more moaning. Chase continues pushing his hips forward then back, sliding his length in and out, keeping it at a slow and steady pace to not bring any more pain to the Chocolate Labrador while giving soft sensual licks along the back of his neck, canines grazing the skin as left little red marks, taking a glance back at the deep red one, he could easily tell which one was his.

The Shepherd's paw left Zuma's muzzle, letting it roam down his back then under where he grabbed hold of the Lab's shaft, sending more jolts of pleasure through Zuma's body, sending pleasurable chills along his spine as he threw his head in back in ecstasy, no words leaving his lips except for howls of bliss and moans of passion as he feels Chase's hips push against him once more.

Chase pulls his hips back, his shaft sliding backward against Zuma's entrance, making the Lab's paws go weak as they slid more down almost like he was stretching but with his muzzle buried deep in the smooth leather seats. He dug his claws into the fabric, ripping parts of the leather. Chase slid his length inwards, brushing against Zuma's inner walls, feeling the Lab's entrance squeeze around his length. Chase pulled his shaft out for a second, his paw still wrapped around Zuma's own member, giving it slow strokes, easing any pain the Lab still had.

The Lab's moans were getting too much for Chase to bare, he couldn't hold out these slow movements for long before he started increasing speed. Why he loved Zuma's moans was a mystery to the Shepherd but they were his favorite sound to hear, along with Zuma saying his name. How he wanted nothing more than the Lab to scream it right now. He slid back in after instantly pulling his shaft out, knowing Zuma was missing the full feeling inside him.

His paws left their previous position, roaming down to Zuma's sides where he hooked both onto, bringing the Lab closer to him as he pushed his hips back a little rough, waiting and watching to see if he should continue or not.

"Ahh, Chase! D-do that again!" Chase gave Zuma's sides a little squeeze, gripping them as he held on for support, his movements turning from careful, slow to rough with more intensity. Each time, Chase slid his length in and out, Zuma arched his head back, feeling an exhilarating rush going through his body to the tip of his tail and to his throbbing shaft which was being stroked once more, it wouldn't be long until he found his release. With the wonderful, exquisite movements from the Shepherd plus having Chase's paw tautly stroking his shaft up and down, picking up speed each time he slammed his hips against the Water pup.

Zuma had completely submitted to Chase, he had given him everything but his heart which was still taken. However Zuma found himself wanting to say three meaningful words to Chase, but he kept moaning instead, not wanting to say anything that would just be in the heat of the moment without listening to his heart first.

Chase began leaving small, tender butterfly kisses followed by pulling the Lab's fur with his canines around his neck. Zuma leaned into the touch, his moans were now blissful sighs and sharp gasps. Chase couldn't get enough of the Lab's scent, his sweet strong aroma filling the Shepherd's nose. While Chase's scent felt warm and loving, the same with his movements, intense but still slow, his length embracing the Lab's insides which tightened in succession, feeling a slightly ticklish sensation. A sudden erotic growl escaped Chase's lips as he once more started nibbling one of Zuma's ear, nuzzling it onto his muzzle.

"Zuma… are you still in pain?" 'Please say no, I can't bear these slow movements anymore, I need to feel myself deep inside him…'

Chase's thoughts were brushed away he heard Zuma catching his breath slowly as he softly spoke.

"No Chase… I only feel pleasuwe. P-Please go fastew?" It was like his desperate silent begs were answered as he slid his length out, moving into a better position, paws both grabbing hold of Zuma's sides once more, claws digging into the skin beneath silky brown fur. "Bawking mastew of anticipation." Zuma cursed under his breath, which aroused Chase - even more than he already was, he had never heard Zuma say a single word under the sun before, or change his voice to a lower tone.

"How about I make you scream my name instead." Chase huskily whispered, hot breath blowing against one of Zuma's ears, making him moan once more as he slid his length back inside, this time increasing the speed, slow to fast as he kept up with the same amount of intensity.

"Ahh, Chase! Yes, yes! Oh my paw, this feels amazing!" Exactly the type of response the Shepherd was expecting.

"Call me the master of anticipation again." Zuma instantly threw his head back in pleasure, swinging it left and right, moaning uncontrollably.

"I'm sowwy, Chase. Ahh, k-keep going!" The Shepherd grinned, along with teasing Zuma's hearing with his husky grunts and erotic growls.

"Who's your Alpha Zuma?" Chase growled into the Lab's ear, nipping at the side of his neck, teeth grazing against skin as he pulled a piece with his canines, slamming his hips forwards than back, nothing more than primal, rough like mating was supposed to be for Canines. However, Chase made sure that Zuma was always feeling the same amount of pleasure as him, even more, would be better.

"You, Chase! Ahh! You are!" Each time Zuma howled his name, Chase fell to cloud 9, leaving reality behind. The only thing that mattered was pleasing the pup he was in love with.

"You're such a good puppy Zuma, you're mine." 'Bark, I'm losing control, the more I go inside of him, I feel my release getting closer.' "Whose are you?" Chase nipped around Zuma's neck once more, paw leaving his side as it began stroking his shaft once again, sending more jolts of euphoria to Zuma's inner nethers, where he felt a string of his arousal fall onto Chase's paw.

"Youws Chase, youws. I'll be youw toy, play with me any way you want, I'll be youw innocent little Omega…" Chase's thrusts went even faster, no longer soft as he slammed his hips against the smaller pup, enough for Zuma to reach his breaking point as he let out a howl of release, his arousal shooting out, landing on Chase's paw where he immediately brought it to Zuma's parted lips.

"Taste yourself Zuma, taste how sweet you are." As if Zuma had completely given control to Chase as he licked the Shepherd's paw intimately, moaning when he could taste his own arousal. "Do I make you feel good, Zuma…?" Chase slammed his hips against the Lab once more, sliding his length in and out, doubling the speed at each quick, passionate movement.

"Mowe than good my Alpha… Ch-Chase you make me feel I'm flying!" The Shepherd couldn't deny he felt the same way, being thrown into an ocean of bliss, a volcano of sedimentary pleasure. The way Zuma's inner walls tightened against his length, was enough to push him over the edge, and this being Chase's first time made it hard for him to last long.

Chase's growls turned into howls, ones that could be heard for miles. He hoped the Jeep was soundproof because he had no intention of shushing his sounds of pleasure. He bit down on Zuma's neck, leaving another crimson red mark as canines dug into the Lab's soft skin. The number of mating marks and regular bites that Zuma had on his neck, he was surprised his collar still covered them.

Zuma was pretty sure Chase was getting closer, his howls turning an octave higher, husky grunts as he slid his length in and out, grabbing the Lab's sides firmly, claws leaving slight puncture wounds which became little red marks.

"Bark… Zuma, I think… I'm so close." Chase caught his breath, tongue rolling out of his mouth as he heavily pants, no longer able to speak as only lustful growls, sharp gasps and ear-shattering howls escaped his parted lips.

"Knot me, Chase..." The Shepherd's eyes shot open, while ears perked up before listening to Zuma's moans once again, sweet, intimate sounds getting louder and higher by the second.

Mating was for pleasure, to make the pup they were with feel good, a way to let go and release. Knotting was so much more than that. With females, it came naturally, but with males, they barely knotted, mostly because they mated for lust. Chase was taken aback, he knew Zuma had feelings for him, but to ask something like that made Chase lose complete control, sending an erotic shudder through Zuma's body as he roughly slammed his hips against the smaller pup.

Chase grabbed hold of Zuma's shaft again, stroking it up and down, it wasn't long till the Lab found his release once more, a lightheaded blissfulness washing over him as he moaned uncontrollably, howling the Shepherd's name until he had but all lost his voice, as it became raspy and hard to talk.

When Chase almost found his release, finally deciding and giving into his natural but loving instincts, to knot the Chocolate Labrador. Zuma bit his bottom lip as he felt something wrap around Chase's shaft as it clenches inside his entrance, stretching the Lab out even more as he felt the knot tied around the Shepherd's pointy tip. Becoming impossible to slide back out for a while. With one more hard thrust, Chase finally found his release, letting out a roaring growl followed by an ear-piercing howl. Zuma felt Chase's paws tremble and go weak behind him as the Shepherd struggled to stand, each of his arousal filling the Lab up.

Once Zuma heard Chase catch his breath, the Lab could no longer hold himself as all four paws gave away, making him fall to his stomach. Chase laid on top, breathing heavily as he turned Zuma to face him, he pulled the Lab into a passionate loving kiss which Zuma tried to return as he felt exhausted. Eyes closing both from the soft sensation and being tired. Chase felt the same way, he would sleep until morning, but he knew he couldn't. They had to go back to the hotel and give the Jeep back.

Pulling away from the kiss, Chase laid his muzzle behind Zuma's neck, planting a small peck before closing his eyes just for a second. A wide smile playing on his lips as he came to realize that he just mated the pup that had stolen his heart.

"I love you, Zuma." The Chocolate Lab just smiled back, resting his muzzle on his paws as they waited for the knot to loosen. He felt his heart race at the loving, meaningful words.

As if the night was still young, the knot finally loosened letting both pups free. They both stretched before Zuma curled into a ball, feeling his eyelids heavy.

"Awe you suwe you can dwive?" Chase nodded in response, jumping to the driver's seat, about to turn the key and switch the gear shift to drive, he heard a very faint beeping from his collar. Immediately springing to the seat next to him, his paw picked up the black and white collar, throwing the silver one over to Zuma who instead hit him on the head as he awakened from his nap.

Chase caught his breath as he pressed a paw down on his tag which was flashing blue.

"Yes, Ryder-"

"Chase, where the fuck is you?! It's 4 am and you two are still not back yet. I want you back at the hotel right now! This is not Adventure Bay Chase, if it were I wouldn't mind you staying out at night, but this is Florida, crime is so much higher and I literally have Skye crying in my arms because she's worried sick, I am too, and I'm two seconds away from tracking your chips!" Zuma's ears perked up as eyes shot open, he knew when Ryder curses, he's angry and they're in big trouble.

Chase growled at his tag, every time he heard the word 'microchip' or 'tracker' from Ryder, he felt like he was holding the Shepherd on a leash. When the boy heard the growl, he got madder.

"I don't know what's gotten into you Chase, but you can't just be going out on your own."

"Ryder, I'm not a clueless little pup anymore, I'm-"

"I don't fucking care what you are Chase or how you're a grown-up dog now! You're still my pup and you're still part of a team which you seemed to have forgotten about. I also heard that you stole a car? I'm going to have a talk with you when you get back, now before anything happens to you, gets your fucking tails back to this hotel, and if you pull this stunt again, you can forget about surfing in the contest because I won't think twice to bring you all back home. We came here for you, we'll leave just for the same reason." Chase's growls got louder, he was angry with his owner and so-called friend, why Ryder wanted to do that made the Shepherd want to smash his tag against the car window. "You could've got arrested if Skye and Marshall didn't explain why you took the Jeep in the first place. You may be a cop in Adventure Bay but you are not here and have no authority to pretend to be!" Chase felt his blood boiling, snarling at his tag and at the boy on the other side. "Let me speak to Zuma."

"No!" Now was not a good time to show dominance but Chase had a hard time keeping his anger at bay.

"Chase, do as I say or you'll be in even more trouble than you are." The Shepherd chuckled a dangerous laugh.

"Or what? You're going to lock me in the Lookout or throw me in a kennel?" Zuma had enough, he viciously grabbed the collar away from Chase as he spoke to the boy.

"We'we coming now Wydew, please don't punish Chase." With that the Lab shut off the tag, putting Chase's collar on the chair next to him.

The Shepherd brutally slammed his paw against the window, almost smashing the glass, growling angrily as he dug his claws into the seats beneath him. Zuma, taking a risk stepped in front of Chase, pulling his paws away, holding them in a tight hold.

"Don't Zuma. I don't want to hurt you. Let me go before I do something I'll regret, I won't think twice to bite you." Zuma didn't care, he threw himself into the Shepherd's chest, paws wrapping around Chase's neck.

The Shepherd aimed a paw at Zuma's muzzle, about to dig his claws in until he saw blood, but just by looking at Zuma's sudden sad story eyes, tears rolling down the side, he couldn't bring himself to hit or harm the pup he loves. Anger slowly going down as he pulled Zuma into a comforting embrace, wrapping his paws securely yet comfortably around the Lab's neck, bringing him closer until his muzzle was buried in warm, creamy soft fur.

"Chase…" The Shepherd slammed a paw against the headrest of the leather seats. Suddenly hating himself.

"Zuma, I'm so barking sorry. I would never, ever think of hurting you. You have no idea how much you mean to me, please don't be scared of me and have second thoughts about being my mate because I promise, swear down on my life for as long as I live, I will never lay a single paw on you and I need you to trust me, because… I don't… want to lose... you…" Chase didn't care about being an Alpha or top dog, the only thing that mattered to him was he still had a chance at a future with Zuma. He felt his eyes glassy as tears rolled down the sides of his muzzle.

Zuma unexpectedly cupped the Shepherd's muzzle lovingly, pressing their foreheads together.

"Chase, aftew tonight and the special, memowable moment we just shawed I can officially say that I'm falling in love with you too and even though I just saw a whole new side of you, it's fine. We all get angwy and Wydew can push ouw buttons sometimes. But I know in my heawt you won't huwt me, Chase. And if you do, even by accident, I won't wun away, we've been in the team fow thwee years now and I'm pwetty suwe I can handle you. Befowe we got this close, we've been in fights before and I've come out with swatches all ovew my fuw. But I'm not going to let go of a chance I'm nevew going to get again." Chase fought the tears back as Zuma pulled him into a loving, tender kiss. "Now, let's go home and we can talk to Wydew togethew."

Chase nodded in response as he turned the key, paw on the gearshift as he put the Jeep in drive, another paw on the accelerator as he drove further away from South beach back to the Four Seasons at Surfside his free paw, wrapping around the Lab.

When they got back to the hotel, Ryder was standing outside with who would be known as the owner of the red Jeep. Chase and Zuma both jumped out, about to run towards the entrance until a whistle stopped them in their tracks. Chase growled, staring daggers at the boy, feeling his blood boil once again.

"It's like we're his barking pets and less of a team." Zuma put his paw over Chase's, calming the German Shepherd down.

"I'm really sorry for the misunderstanding, I'll pay for any damages the car may have, there's no need to call the cops sir, just please let my pups with a warning, he was just having a bit of fun."

"Like Ryder knows anything about what I do." Chase took a deep breath, feeling a pair of claws intwine with his.

"Just be happy the guy didn't call the cops. Miami police awen't that fwiendly." Chase nodded, holding back a growl as his owner walked towards them.

"H-hi Wydew…" The boy showed a small smile at the Lab as he told them to walk inside. They took the elevator to the third floor.

As they opened the door to their room, a concerned Cockapoo ran towards the Chocolate Lab, knocking him off his paws as she threw herself on top of him, embracing him in a worrisome hug as she cried into his chest.

"Oh, Zuma I was so worried, you were gone almost all night and it was getting late and you didn't come home… I tried calling your tag and you weren't responding... I-I-I thought…" Skye's words were silenced with a paw as Zuma held her lovingly in his paws, soothing her concerns and the fresh tears that were falling down her muzzle.

"Shh, Skylaw. I'm hewe now and I'm okay. Shh, don't cwy, you'll stain youw pwetty pink eyes." Skye sniffled, lifting her muzzle as she was met with reassuring emerald hues. Even if Zuma felt no intimate attraction to the Cockapoo, he still hated seeing her cry, especially if he was the reason. As he embraced the Flying pup, ears perked up at the door slamming shut, Ryder and Chase were not in the room anymore. 'Please don't get mad Chase..'

Skye wasn't the only one worried as a pair of sunset gold hues were relieved that the Lab had returned safety, even with Chase's crazy driving as he learned not to care over the years. Rocky thought the urge to go over to the Lab before a strong scent ran through his nose. Zuma was covered in Chase's scent head to tail. Whatever they did was way more than just going to a party.

Zuma went into the bathroom to take a hot shower, Skye never leaving his side. They closed the door, him turning the dial, which allowed water to pass through, falling on his fur like a waterfall. Skye jumped in with him, getting her fur soaked as well. Zuma didn't seem to mind as she was sad and needed comfort. He held her in his paws and the water fell on the two. Skye nuzzled Zuma's by the side of his muzzle, dragging her tongue lovingly against his fur. Zuma allowed the long, tender licks as he laid one right back, only thinking about the Shepherd that was probably being yelled at.

Zuma softly sighed as Skye buried her muzzle in his chest one more, a paw running along her back in comfort.

"Do you love Chase, Zuma?" The Lab bit at the stream playfully as he gazed over to the silver collar on the floor.

"I think so, Skye." She began crying again as he pulled her close.

Outside, at the end of the hallway, next to the elevators was Ryder with his arms crossed over each other while Chase sat up in front of him, tail slowly swishing side to side. Ryder took a deep breath, before speaking.

"Chase, I really don't know what's gotten into you lately, getting into random competitions in new places, I'm all for taking one for the team, but for fuck sake Chase. You almost got arrested today if you didn't return the car and the number of damages I or Mayor Goodway have to pay for the torn-up back seats, I don't know what the fuck you and Zuma were doing in that Jeep nor do I want to know, but you're so lucky you didn't get the cops called on you. Stealing a car, Chase! What were you thinking? Do you want to get kicked off the team?!" Ryder's voice got louder, getting angry once more. "And what's worse you bring Zuma into your stupidities! I'm not going to let him go down with you." Chase growled, eyes staring dangerously into his leader's brown ones.

"You don't know anything Ryder, I didn't just steal the car, the valet was too stupid to let me have it!" The boy unfolded his arms, getting down to eye level with the angry pup.

"Don't you dare take that tone with me, Chase! You could've been killed tonight and don't spit that shit that you can just bite them, you do that and you will be put down. I don't think you understand how strict laws are here! Now drop the fucking attitude." Chase turned his muzzle away from the boy. "Why are you doing this Chase? For fun, just because you're bored of recuses and us or are you doing this just to impress Zuma because I know you two have gotten very close lately. That's why I'm worried."

"Worried about what Ryder? Are you saying I can't be with him?" Ryder shook his head, a hand under Chase's muzzle.

"No, Chase. I'm worried that if you keep carrying on you're going to get you and him both in trouble, or worse." Ryder's words impaled Chase as he went in deep thought.

"I'm not stupid Ryder, in case you forgot I'm Adventure Bay's Police pup, I follow rules, I stand by the law." The boy put a hand to his face, slapping against it.

"Yeah, and here you think you can run wide just like a little puppy? This isn't Adventure Bay Chase."

"I barking know that Ryder!" The teen was getting sick and tired of his pup growling and raising his voice. "I'm not a barking pup anymore, I've grown up."

"Chase, I've grown up too and I don't go around stealing cars to impress someone or accepting challenges from strangers. I'm trying to protect you Chase!" Ryder yelled, standing up once more as he turned away from the German Shepherd.

"Well stop." Ryder's eyes flashed open.

"I'm sorry, what?" The two met eyes, daggers piercing into each pair, breaking the shine both in amber and honey brown.

"Stop trying to protect me, I can look after myself." Ryder just about had enough of the Shepherd as he held a hand above Chase's muzzle, about to slap the stupid pup.

"Sure you can, there's a big world out there, who will feed you, how will you stay away from harsh weather, and cold climate? How will you keep a roof over your head without any money, and how will you provide for the pup you love?" Chase chucked.

"I'll take the Volkswagen." Clearly, Chase wasn't thinking straight.

"The fuck you will. You won't get the keys over my dead body. That shit's on my name and I'm not giving it to you."

"You can't even drive." Ryder got closer, showing almost no emotion but disbelief at Chase.

"Neither should you. But Adventure Bay and some places have different laws which allow dogs to drive and as long as you have a license you can drive anywhere, but honestly, I should take yours away until you're mature enough to follow rules!" Chase chuckled once more.

"That's fine, I'll get some pup to drive me." Ryder slapped a hand to his face once more.

"Chase, stop being fucking stupid or I swear we'll pack our bags and leave right now. And you can explain to the team how you just ruined their vacation! If you want to leave, go, but don't come back when shit hits the fan and you're in a pound or worse."

"Fine, I'll leave the team right now." Just as Chase was about to walk away, he felt a foot lightly step on his tail.

"Don't even think about taking Zuma with you. He's not going anywhere. You're of age, but he's not which means I still have ownership over him."

"Zuma's not your barking pet Ryder!" The boy almost lost his willpower as he aimed his hand above Chase's muzzle once more.

"None of you are, we're a fucking team, Chase!"

"We are a team but the only pup you'll really ever care about is Marshall, being born in the same house with you and all, the rest of us just showed up." At this point Ryder had enough, he grabbed Chase by the collar, picking him up in his arms as he carried the angry German Shepherd back to the room.

When entering every pup looked at them, as Ryder and Chase went into the bathroom, the shower being turned on with the water being cold. Ryder only had to give Chase a cold shower once when he got angry with the boy, he almost bit him. Ryder had no choice.

Marshall shook his head in disappointment, wincing at the sounds of Chase whimpering and growling while Ryder poured cold water over him until he stopped being angry and yelling words of hate towards the shaggy-haired teen.

All the pups watched the bathroom door and waited for the water to stop.

After a couple of minutes went by, the streams stopped pouring, the door swinging open as Ryder walked out, drenched in water as he cursed under his breath. Chase was in a towel, wrapping around his shaking fur.

"Come outside for a second, it's cold in the room, I don't want you with the others until I come back." For once Chase obeyed, sharing a loving gaze with Zuma as he looked concerned and worried. The Shepherd turned away, closing the door behind him as he left the room.

"Barking Ryder." Chase cursed under his breath just as the door was opened once again, a spotted Dalmatian walking out, he put a paw Chase's back.

"Chase, what happened back there? I've never seen you like that and especially to Ryder." The Shepherd sighed.

"I don't need a lecture right now Marshall." The Dally walked around until he was facing Chase, a red mark slapped across his muzzle, Marshall went to place a paw before a deadly growl pulled his paw back.

"It's like I don't even know who you are anymore Chase, you were meant to come back to the hotel by midnight. What were you doing with Zuma for four hours?"

'Mating him.' Chase looked into Marshall's sad eyes, turning his gaze away.

"What, you can't even look at me anymore?" Chase kept his gaze on the floor. "Do you even love me anymore Chase, have you ever loved me?" At this point, the Shepherd returned the Dally's eye contact.

'Maybe. I can't look at him when all I want to do is end all of this.'

"Chase?" The Shepherd thrashed the Dally's paw away from touching him any longer.

"What Marshall? You know what, I can't barking do this anymore!" The Dally was taken back, eyes stained with tears.

"D-do what Chase…?"

"You, me. Us! I don't want to be your mate anymore Marshall, I…" Before Chase could say anymore, he looked back at the Dally. Ears fell behind his head, tears falling down his muzzle, while his tail stopped wagging, almost as if it was tucking in between his legs. That's when Chase knew to end things this way while he was still mildly angry and upset would be the worst thing ever. "I'm sorry… I didn't mean to say that… I'll still be your mate Marshall and I do... Love you." 'Why the bark did I just say that when I just confessed to Zuma?!' However, saying those three words to the blue-eyed Dalmatian left a bad taste in his mouth, like he only said it out of anger, so his mate wouldn't cry. Not like how he said those three words to the Chocolate Labrador, full of emotion and passion. Chase hung his head in shame when he saw a small smile playing on Marshall's lips.

"I love you too Chase," Marshall walked back inside when he heard Ryder coming back. He gave one stern look to the German Shepherd as both walked inside.

The lights were off, every pup was sleeping. Rubble was on the couch with Rocky, eyes closed as they both drifted off to dreamland. Marshall was back on the bed, curling into a small ball as Ryder went to lay with him, succumbing to sleep the moment his head hit his pillow.

Chase walked over to Zuma who was caressing small circles along Skye's back as she slept closely next to him.

"Is she okay?"Chase whispered, nuzzling the side of Zuma's muzzle as he slowly nodded in response.

"She was weally scawed Chase," The Shepherd planted a kiss against the side of Zuma's muzzle as he looked at the ocean outside the window.

"I'm sorry, I won't be that careless again." Zuma turned his muzzle, never once did he ever think Chase was lying.

"So, um what happened with Wydew?" Chase softly sighed, wrapping a paw around Zuma's neck.

"I don't want to talk about it..." Zuma understood, they both gazed at the ocean until Chase broke the silence once more. "Hey Zuma, after this contest do you want to be my mate."

Their eyes both locked in an everlasting gaze.

"Yes, Chase. I would love to be."

A/n:

Hello, my fellow readers.

Here's part two continuing off from where part one left off.

So I must say a lot happened in this chapter and this is definitely one of my favorites.

For all who are wondering, I don't ship Marshall and Rocky, I just wanted to give them a moment of closure.

Got any questions, don't be afraid to ask.

I put two songs in this one, and I'm planning to write an original song for a future chapter. The songs are 'Silver Cross' by Charli XCX (I love her music so much) and 'Drive' by Glades (By far the most beautiful song I have ever heard)

I usually add another mating scene in chapter 8 (I think) but as I put a different ship in this story, I wanted to add one in this one.

As for Chase and Ryder fighting and falling out, well that just came to me out of the blue. XD (And no don't give your dogs a cold shower, this is just Fanfiction)

That's for now!

Stay cool, cats rule!

(I'm still thinking of a rhyme for dogs)
