A Series? Hmm... Maybe, if the acceptable chapter length are a lot shorter than WHSS's cause that's exhausting XD Are you talking about a series for the gap between the original and the sequel?

~Ive Been There~

If it's lame you don't have to read it my friend, I'm not keeping you here XD

~Azrakatz~

Shoot! I forgot to upload the extra piece for Hexagon! XD Hello Azra, as per usual I'm a spaz regarding my writing XD

P.S I agree, Leon needs to suck it up XD

~CoolAidSenpai~

I'll try to fix it, but there's no promises XD

My writing style's been changing over the past four years.

While WHSS is an endearing thorn in my side that I love too much to just ignore, I can't give you the same content without style and content differences. I was fifteen when I started writing this. I'm an adult now and my mind is nowhere near as clean and innocent as it used to be XD Mind you my writing is still pretty clean, (Cynthia just has a foul mouth depending on the situation) it's just not the same as it used to be.

So, keep that in mind as I deliver an update that ISN'T the longer and detailed Pretending Sequel's second half. Instead… take a smorgasbord of random pieces I've been writing XD

"Mine Mine Mine" Andreas Moe

I got love for you, baby, that's for sure

The cheeky smirk on her face behind the video camera broke the possible tension from being randomly involved in a prank video without any warning. After all, Cynthia was clearly very smug and amused about him being currently covered in hair gel and smelling of an ocean breeze. The blue eyed YouTuber was sitting casually on the closest kitchen counter wearing leggings and a long t-shirt, of which he recognized as one of his own.

"Really?" Leon rolled his eyes and wiped the gel from his face before shaking it off his hands and onto the clear tarp beneath his feet.

Cynthia's smirk widened and she shrugged casually, paying no attention to her manager filming both of them. "What's the problem? I told you weeks ago I'd be doing a prank video on you… honey," she added the endearment on the end, mischief gleaming in her face and body language.

"Oh you are so going to get it," he lightly threatened, his thick eyebrows then rose as an idea hit him. Before a smirk spread over his face and he lifted his arms toward her, "want a hug?"

Cynthia's eyes widened as he began moving toward her, "Leon, you're going to get hair gel all over the hardwood floors…"

"So?" Leon grinned and started jogging toward her, "come give your handsome mate a hug Cia."

"No thanks!" Cynthia blew him off, then instantly regretted it with a squeal as Leon broke into a run. Causing Cynthia to slide off of the counter and sprint away from him, "don't touch me!" She squealed as she bolted toward the stairs, "you'll ruin my clothes with all of that!"

"Like that matters," Leon replied as he ran after her, "you look good in anything anyways!"

Half a bottle deep laying on the floor

"Which of you darnk an entire bottle of Firaxum?" Lila asked the two as she emerged from the kitchen, her tone full of exasperation.

The pair of seventeen-year-old wild alphas both looked over at her like a deer caught in the headlights.

Cynthia was currently looking at her upside down from where Leon was holding her by the legs over his shoulder. Her long hair casually hanging down along with a strip of her midriff visible due to gravity affecting her shirt. "Uh, Leon did it!" she pointed at her mate with her free hand, her other currently grabbing at his shirt for balance.

They were obviously rather drunk on a nonalcoholic wild drink that screwed with Vivid wilds and made them as intoxicated and unrestrained as a normal human after drinking more liquor than is healthy.

Nothing Will Break My Spirit.

"Cynthia you need to sleep." the clink of the coffee mug against her desk broke Cynthia's illusion of peaceful silence of her bedroom down in the basement. The only lighting the room consisting of the bright light from her Surface Studio. Pen tip resting almost limply against the screen from her exhaustion. Exhaustion she had been stubbornly ignoring for the past twenty-four hours by rarely taking the time to even sit down.

Her brother Luke, a quiet three-year-old was asleep behind her, curled up in a ball on top of her fluffy blankets with Mia's muzzle inches from the young toddler's face. The dog's round brown eyes were mostly closed, lazily watching her owner struggle to keep from sleeping and to finish her commission.

However, Cynthia didn't notice the dog's worried gaze, too busy fighting to keep her eyes open and lift her sliding pen from her screen. Her chin was propped up in her palm, her head tilted at an awkward angle as she seemed to doze off without meaning to. Blue eyes momentarily sliding shut in a lull of relaxation for the first time that day.

"Cynthia," her name was called again, pulling Cynthia from the dozing dreams of a world with no regrets and no mistakes. A world where she could live as a normal teenager and hadn't impulsively thrown it all away. "Hey," gentle hands with wide set fingers and calluses from all of the training she knew he did brushed over her shoulders. His touch warm and soothing to the exhausted seventeen-year-old. "You're no use working on that in a state like this."

His warm breath brushed against her ear as he leaned closer and Cynthia felt one of his hands cup one side of her face. Gently lifting her head to be straight up instead of being at a one-hundred degree angle. Easing the strain on the muscles in her neck and causing her blue eyes to flutter back open as her awareness of the world around her came back to her with a long inhale of breath.

"I'm awake," Cynthia mumbled, her voice tired and sleepy even as she readjusted her posture and sat up straight, feeling his hands fall to rest on her shoulders. "I'm awake I promise," she blinked a few times and squinted, noticing the distinct change of color in her vision and the lack of glare from her glasses. "Wait… Leon, where's my glasses?" She asked in a tired mumble even as she felt her body melting against the back of her chair and the hands beginning to gently work out the stressed knots in her muscles at the base of her neck.

"I put them away," Leon responded in that same hushed tone as earlier, "you need to sleep Cynthia, Cleo's going to be awake in a few hours and you need the sleep."

Cynthia's sluggish mind struggled to keep up with what he was saying, registering that the three-month old baby was asleep if he was there and that what he was saying was true. "But I need to finish this," she said in a groggy tone and scooted her chair closer to her desk, lifting her dead weight of an arm to continue drawing.

"Cynthia…" Leon gently grasped her wrist before she could and took the pen from her hands. Gently spinning her chair around so she was facing him as he knelt down in front of her on his knees. Holding both of her hands between his and breathing warm air over the slightly cold nipped long fingers of an artist. "You can't keep doing this to yourself, you need to sleep."

Cynthia let him hold her hands, looking groggily at him through exhausted sapphire blue eyes, eyes tired and older than her actual age. "I'm already behind Leon, I can't be further behind in the commissions."

"Did you tell anyone that you had a baby Cynthia?" Leon's amber eyes glowed in the darkness of the room, full of concern for her and her health with everything going on.

Cynthia felt the familiar lump of guilt and shame in her throat and avoided his eyes, feeling tears that she couldn't control pricking at her eyes. She said nothing, her silence giving him the answer he needed.

"I'm sorry…" Leon spoke quietly, his amber pools now glowing with guilt, "I didn't mean for this to happen either."

Cynthia blinked a few times, blinking rapidly to prevent herself from crying as she tried to speak. Her voice rough and scratchy with emotion. "It's not your fault, it's mine too," she hiccuped slightly, feeling overwhelmingly emotional in the dark room with her boyfriend and exhausted beyond belief. " I should've thought about the consequences beforehand."

"Maybe so, but it's turned your life completely upside down," Leon pointed out, gently pressing a short kiss to the freckled skin of her knuckles. "As if you didn't have enough on your plate before, you have to take care of your siblings and now a baby."

Cynthia breathed out a shuddered exhale at the words, the guilt and shame she carried on her shoulders making it almost painful to breathe through.

Leon looked at her, amber eyes as guilty as hers. He knew how hard it was on her, they had been working together to make it through it all since she had found out in the first place and Seriah had completely stopped paying attention to her and her younger siblings. "I see how much it hurts you on your face every day sweetheart, but you need to at least tell Lila. She can help you divert some of the work to other people while you get the sleep you need every night and we work together to raise everyone."

Cynthia's face crumpled into an expression of misery and pain, "it's so hard Leon…" She spoke, her voice trembling with emotion as she spoke. "I can't do it Leon…"

Leon stood up and gathered the shorter girl in his arms. Shifting to be carrying her for a minute before having it so instead she was sitting on his lap, his arms curled comfortingly around her body. "Yes we can Cia, we can do this."

"I can pretend I can during the day," Cynthia breathed shakily, "but I can't at night!" She buried her face into the fabric of his shirt and gripped the cotton fabric with her fingers, "not when you leave and my house is eerily quiet with nothing but my mind torturing me for company!"

"My parents don't want me to make the same mistake again," Leon murmured quietly, feeling his heart breaking apart at the pain Cynthia found herself drowning in. "So I'm not supposed to stay the night without my siblings. I'm sorry sweetheart, I want to be here with you to help you when you really need it, but I can't."

Cynthia crumpled against him, screwing up her face and giving a heavy sob. Physically exhausted, emotionally spent, and mentally stretched thin, she couldn't do it. She couldn't keep it together all the time, not when she was alone every night with nothing but her guilt, shame, and hounding thoughts for company every night.

After the typical rush of getting Miles, Sage, and Lily ready for school on time and out the door for their respective buses; by eight o'clock she was now just left with a cranky toddler having a tantrum at her feet, crying three-month-old baby, a growing headache, and blankly staring at the coffee machine in front of her. Silently cursing that she couldn't have an energy drink to help fight the grogginess she felt in her bones.

Since she was still nursing Cleo, which was cheaper than spending more money than she needed to on formula, Cynthia had to monitor her caffeine intake amongst pretty much everything else. So no energy drinks of any kind, and only two cups of coffee a day for the caffeine addict who barely functioned in the morning without some of it in her system. If she was asleep on her feet tired and was lucky, Leon would come by after school and share a soda with her, keeping her awake till she could put everyone to bed and grab the other coffee cup. Where she'd then hunker down and work on her growing pile of commissions.

Usually she could hold off dealing with Luke and Cleo till the stupid coffee maker finished it's slow tirade of making the coffee she unfortunately had to drink straight black these days with her daughter's odd reaction to high amounts of sugar in her milk. However, today it looked like it wasn't one of those days.

Cleo was likely hungry, having been awake for the past hour where Cynthia had been too busy with the other four to feed her yet with the forgotten childs sling downstairs in her bedroom. While Luke? Luke was always cranky in the morning, a trait her other brother joked matched her to a 't.' Which was true, until she had actually started drinking caffeine when she was thirteen, Cynthia had been the rudest and likely most foul mouthed person to walk the planet in the morning. She was not a morning person, not at all, and Luke seemed to share the genes given to her and made them both cranky in the morning.

"Mama! Cawry me!"

Oh, and Cynthia had given up on telling him to stop calling her 'mama' at this point. After a year and a half the toddler was practically her son anyways.

Luke angrily stomped his little feet, howling and holding his hands up to Cynthia to carry him. "Mama!" The toddler howled, stomping his feet some more and now tugging on Cynthia's denim pant leg, "cawry me!"

Cynthia mindfully ignored him, keeping up her staring contest with the coffee maker while also refusing to reinforce the current behavior. She knew he was just morning cranky and wanted her attention when she gave a lot of her attention to Cleo in the morning after the other three had gone to school.

However, the mixture of crying and howling was giving her a headache, more of a headache than her current caffeine headache. So after cursing under her breath, "damn you, stupid coffee machine," she headed toward the living room where her daughter laid in a playpen, still crying at the top of her lungs.

Luke gave a rather loud howl and finally just broke into tears as she walked away, crying in the way only a toddler could and toddling after her with his arms outstretched. "Mama… mama… Mama!"

Cynthia breathed a sharp breath through her nose. Biting her tongue and forcing herself to remain calm when she felt the urge to snap at the young child and storm out of the room when she hadn't had any caffeine or anything to keep her going this early in the morning.

Instead she picked Cleo up from the playpen with gentle noises, soothing her hungry and crabby daughter. Once she had her cradled in one arm, Cynthia adjusted her tank-top and helped Cleo into nursing properly. Making one of the pairs of crying stop completely. While at the same time making Cynthia less stressed and making it easier to deal with the crying toddler now hugging her leg.

For a few moments the guilt and shame Seriah had shoved deep into Cynthia's mind at finding herself in a situation like this faded into nothing along with Luke's cries. Watching Cleo's sleepy green eyes half closed with something akin to concentration and relaxation while her tiny hands opened and closed frequently. Snuggled against Cynthia's body and cradled in her left arm to be held across her midsection. Cleo was hers, evident by what she was doing right now, nursing happily. Rather lost in the moment of peace and her own thoughts, Cynthia brought her other hand to her baby's head, gently stroking her daughter's fluffy dark hair. Cleo was hers and Leon's accidental bundle of joy, both of theirs, and Leon loved Cleo just like Cynthia herself did.

Cynthia hadn't meant for this to happen, not at all. She had gotten too caught up in the moment, went too far and had to suffer the consequences, even though it would turn her life upside down. Usually she hated it all but her siblings, Leon, and Cleo. Hated the guilt, shame, and the pain that it brought with it. However, in moments like these, with her daughter in her arms and letting her eyes wander over the facial features that was a blend of Leon's and her own, she didn't feel anything but love. Love for her siblings, for Leon, and for the little child in her arms.

"Mama…" Luke's sniffles pulled Cynthia from her trance and Cynthia looked down to see tear ridden hazel eyes look back at her. "Pease cawy me…"

"Don't bother Cleo," Cynthia sighed and managed to pick up the toddler with one arm, anchoring him against her hip while feeling tired. "She's eating right now."

Luke's curiosity after his morning tantrum had no limit, even though he asked the same question every morning. "Bahda?" He asked curiously, tilting his head slightly to one side and leaning closer to Cleo who squawked, released her latch, and searched for the right position again, her face screwing up into an expression warning of her about to start crying.

"Luke, I told you not to bother her," Cynthia sighed with a roll of her eyes and adjusted her hold on Cleo to help the small baby girl out. "But yeah, she's eating the same thing she does everyday kiddo," she felt like a zombie at this point, exhausted beyond belief and relaxed with her daughter and Luke magically not crying or wailing all the time. "What do you want for breakfast?" She asked while depositing him on top of the kitchen island's granite countertop.

If I Told You I Could Predict The Future

"If I told you I could predict the future," Cynthia's blue eyes were harsh and piercing, the singer and YouTuber shaking the fellow college student to the core, "and tell you what happened in the past, would you believe me?"

Cynthia's expensive dorm-space was mostly empty, showing Ran how little the dorm student used her dorm besides the basic necessities and recording studio. Giving the other woman a little insight to the twenty-two-year old's inner mind behind her upbeat and enthusiastic attitude that she had around most of their school.

Cynthia took a step closer to her, a glow in her eyes that Ran uncertainty brushed off as a trick of the lighting. "What if I told you that there was twenty-five hours in a day and the world shifts and changes at night," she took another step closer, only a few feet remaining between them now, "would you still believe me?"

Ran looked at Cynthia with wide eyes, not sure how to take what she was saying. Her cheeks had a slight dusting of red as Cynthia took the step closer. "Uh…" Ran wasn't sure what to say at first thinking about how strange it sounded, but this was Cynthia, Cynthia was someone Ran always trusted. Ran took a breath and calmed her mind "I would ask you if you could show me." She said "because I would like to see it, because I always believe you." She said, doing her best to seem tough even if Cynthia was sending chills down her spine. "I would ask you what you have seen as well." She said looking straight into Cynthia's eyes, seeing the strange blue glow, the light from outside was already giving Cynthia's face a gentle aura about it but her eyes seemed to glow beyond that even.

"You're secretly gender neutral interest-wise," Cynthia instantly started speaking at Ran's consent, "your friend Leon's basketball game will end 11-5 with the blonde starring the most baskets made. Last week you got one of your classes mixed up and went to the wrong building without telling anyone."

"As for showing you…" Cynthia poked Ran in the chest, making sure she was touching her as she took a pen from her shirt pocket and threw it up into the air. The hourglass necklace hanging around her neck glowing a gentle blue.

Before within the blink of an eye, more like a narrowing of Cynthia's deep blue eyes as she barely touched the front of Ran's shirt, the world went silent.

The world around them adopting a greyish hue while silence reigned around them.

The clock on the wall behind Cynthia stopped, the ticking noise it made every second pausing as if it never existed.

The water falling from the kitchen tap froze mid air, holding still as if it had been turned into clear ice.

The music playing in Cynthia's studio stopped instantly.

The pen Cynthia had thrown was hovering midair, frozen at Ran's eye level.

After about a minute with the sound of sand falling along with a sharp click the world resumed, everything flooding over Ran's senses all at once.

Cynthia caught the pen with the hand poking Ran and spun it on her fingers, leaning casually toward her, "how do you think I can pull off all of my classes and eighteen videos a week with five free days?" She was smirking a little, looking a little pleased with herself in that current moment.

At the mention of Ran's sexuality with no surprise she sputtered and blushed heavily. As Cynthia began using her magic though Ran's jaw dropped, the fact that Cynthia knew a secret no one else knew was one thing, but this was on a whole other level. Ran quickly looked around to see what happened to the world around them as time had stopped around them. "Oh shit…" she said, not expecting this to happen.

When time returned to normal Ran continued to look around for a moment before looking at Cynthia again with the dropped jaw still. "uh…" she tried figuring out what to say now as she looked at Cynthia in a mystified manner. "How?... Or… why?..."

Cynthia gave her a light smirk that was more amusement than anything else. "I've always had this power, It's something I was born with and the necklace around my neck," she pulled it from under her shirt with the pen so that Ran could effectively see the gentle blue hued hourglass shaped jewelry properly, "controls it."

"As for why," Cynthia shrugged her slim shoulders, "Most of the people that are naturally pulled into that last hour that most people don't see, have some sort of 'supernatural' ability. My friend Jay's blind and the girl in charge of your school's technology club has a strange relationship with technology that frankly," she wrinkled her nose a little, "makes no sense to me."

Breaking the Rules Snuggles

Technically her brother was supposed to be in Jay's dorm room and Holly was well aware of how most people knew but carefully kept it a secret within their division. Originally he had been sharing with Jay and Bree had been with her and Ran. That was until Cynthia had come to the group.

She had been found half dead from blood loss from the attack her and her little brother had suffered from, and yet Leon had insisted on bringing her here, where her new life began.

Since then the sleeping arrangements had slowly shifted, Leon and Bree switching places and Cynthia developing a habit of sneaking into Leon's bed over the years especially as they got older, more mature, and their close relationship turned from platonic to romance in a manner that the medical team called, "soul-mates."

Cynthia was nineteen now, and out of the interest of keeping her eyes from needing to be bleached out of seeing something she didn't want to see, Holly had split her large dorm room into two connected rooms. One with sound-proof walls as a precaution that allowed her and Ran to sleep comfortably around the other two's rather common habit of intimacy. One of the walls was a folding soundproof wall made by Bree so the large room that was a mutual common space and bedroom hybrid like it used to before Cynthia discovered her interest in everything frisky and Leon followed suit.

At the moment everyone but Holly was asleep, the division regulator already up and busy with her daily responsibilities.

Cynthia and Leon were asleep, snuggled together with Cynthia sprawled on her stomach snuggled in her soul-mate's arms. Her scarred arms and shoulders around her tanktop visible around the messily tangled up blankets. Leon was snoring softly through Cynthia's arm over his mouth, sprawled on his back with Cynthia snuggled and entwined in his embrace.

The usually closed folding door was open at the moment.

Ran was finally waking up for the day, her pixie hair cut very messy as she groaned a good morning to the world. Ran scratched the neck line of her baggy t-shirt as she threw the blanket off of her legs, showing the fleece PJ bottoms with screwdrivers all over them. She sat there for a bit, trying to decide if she wanted to actually get up or not, knowing she had responsibilities to attend to. She rubbed her eyes for a moment before checking the time. She finally flopped out of bed when she realized either way Holly would be waking her up within the next five minutes anyway.

She looked over at the dividing wall that separated the lovey dovey couple from Ran and Holly. Her tired brain couldn't help but want something similar, not with Leon or Cynthia of course, Leon was not her type and she thought Cynthia fit better with Leon. There was that tinge of want still, she was getting somewhat closer to one of the guys, Orion, but she wasn't sure if things would go much farther. She slowly began getting up from the floor so she was sitting up, she sat there for a moment, knowing Holly would really wonder why Ran was lying on the floor when she came in. She pondered many things between Cynthia and Leon to her own "relationship" to other random things like new invention ideas and how she wanted a sports car.

Ran then checked the time again before calling out *Cynthia, Leon, time to get up." She said as she got up to her feet, she looked over at them before she went over to her dresser "Holly's going to be here in a moment and wake you guys anyway, so I'd say get up now." She added in, saying it louder than she normally would in order to start getting them up.

Cynthia gave a complaining groan and shifted deeper into her blankets and closer to Leon, snuggling closer to him and hiding her head beneath her pillow. Ever not the morning person as she tried to ignore Ran and snuggled closer to Leon.

Before Leon, more of a morning person than Cynthia and also more training in a casual military approach, reluctantly got up as the watch on his wrist went off in an alarm. "I need a break," he muttered as he sat up despite Cynthia pretty much sprawled over top of him.

"Someone's cranky," Cynthia spoke in a sleepy tone as she flopped back onto the fluffy mattress in a sleepy manner. Cynthia was one of the few people that could get away with sleeping in for an hour or so despite the division-wide wake up alarm at five-thirty am. "What're wrong with you?" Cynthia mumbled into her pillow to Ran, giving her a cranky glare, "your tone's so snappy Ran." Her glare was more of a sleepy glower than anyhing else.

Ran shrugged "Sorry, I didn't mean to be snappy," she said rubbing her eyes "I'm tired and wish I could sleep more, plus I got a lot on my mind right now." She added in as she grabbed the clothes she was planning on changing into. She scratched the back of her head, having not noticed that her ton had been that way, though she wasn't too surprised, there was a lot of things she missed while tired. "I was just wanting to let you guys know it was time to wake up." She said with a yawn and stretch.

Cynthia shrugged, rolling over onto her side and taking all of her and Leon's blankets and sheets with her. "Then ask Holly if you can get some more sleep, it's not like she's unreasonable," she mumbled, her back to Ran at the moment. Her tanktop was rumpled and ruffled from sleeping, exposing some of the freckled skin of her back while Leon was sitting up yawning next to her, trailing his fingers casually through Cynthia's long hair.

Ran thought about the concept heavily before saying "that would be wonderful, but at this point I need to get all my crap done for the day." She said, checking her phone which had a to-do list on it. She looked over at Cynthia and Leon for a bit before returning to looking at her phone, feeling like she was intruding on them with how much of Cynthia's skin she could see. She couldn't help but feel a slight bit of red come to her cheeks. She quickly tried changing the subject "What are you guys up to for today?" She asked, curious.

Leon noticed her red cheeks as he looked behind him at her and rolled his eyes, pulling Cynthia's shirt down to cover her back properly before he then leaned over and kissed Cynthia. "Morning beautiful," he hummed before shrugging on some jeans and standing up. The blond still preferred to sleep in just boxers not that Cynthia minded at all obviously. "As for what we're up to today…" Leon seemed to think about it for a second before shrugging, "I think Holly has our squad all up and prepped for a mission with Bree's van about some kind of bomb or something."

There's something, but the major update still isn't going to happen until I finish the other half of the Pretending Sequel which is turning out to be a crossover with the "Emotional Roller Coaster" piece from Briarfeather and Cinderblaze. That piece includes ALL OF THE MAIN CAST, so don't worry too much about the massive amount of Cinderblaze in this collection, Cinderblaze is just the easiest pairing for me to write, plus I'm more familiar with Cynthia and Leon than most of my other characters.

Can you realistically call them Cinderheart and Lionblaze wannabes anymore? I'm pretty sure they're their own separate characters at this point...
