-Day 37: A goodbye kiss-

The next day, Misaki and Takumi left the vacation home to head back to the Raven castle to collect Misaki's luggage she had to take with her to Japan. Her flight was two hours away and all she had to do was collect the bags she already packed and head to the airport. She had spent the majority of the morning receiving goodbye kisses by Takumi.

When they arrived at the Raven castle, they were greeted by an upset Gerald who seemed to be awaiting their arrival for who knows how long.

"Good afternoon," Misaki greeted him with a respectful bow.

"Misaki, my dear sister-in-law. Why would you set me up with that crazy woman?" Gerald asked not caring to return the greeting. Since his last encounter with Amy yesterday, he had been trying to put together how Misaki could possibly think to set them up.

"Amy? Why, did something happen?" Misaki wondered if he met Amy while they were away.

"That crazy woman insulted me," He said remembering her words.

"What did you do?" Misaki asked.

Gerald was taken aback by this. "Me? Why did I have to do something?"

"Well, I know Amy and if she insulted you there was a good reason. Thank you," She told a servant who had brought down her bags. She didn't have to go all the way up to her room. "What did you do?"

"Well. I assumed she used you to get closer to me. I'm a jackpot," Gerald answered.

"You little... I introduced you because I know she's a nice person with no ill intentions. What did she tell you?" Misaki questioned. She wanted to know what could've possibly made him wait for them by the door.

"She said take away my title and who am I? I'm a waste of time to her," He replied. "I'm very important."

"I don't see the problem," Takumi finally spoke.

Gerald pointed his finger at Takumi. "Grown folks are talking. Stay out of it."

"I'm older than Misaki," Takumi pointed out.

"You act like a child," Gerald responded.

"Cedric carries you like a child."

"You leave Ceddy out of this."

"Children, please. Cut it out," Misaki sighed having to hear their bickering. She didn't have time for this. "Gerald you shouldn't have jumped to that conclusion. Apologize to Amy the next time you see her or I will smack some sense into you."

"You still haven't answered my question about why you choose her," Gerald said deeply wanting to know what would make her pair him with Amy.

"Because I thought she would be the perfect person to balance you out. She wouldn't let you do as you please. And she's single, your single. It would give Takumi and I some alone time," Misaki mumbled the last part really fast. "Give her a chance please and apologize."

Gerald smiled before he said, "After hearing this Misaki I can conclude... that you're as crazy as she is. Why would I apologize?"

Takumi gave his brother a death glare for calling his wife crazy.

"Well, I introduced you two. It's up to whatever you do," She answered having no choice but to let him do as he pleased. She would apologize to Amy herself. "I have to leave."

"I still believe I should come with you to the airport," Takumi stated.

"You have work Takumi. I don't need you to go with me to the airport," Misaki said the same thing she told him last night, this morning when they were leaving and in the car.

"Oh right. You're leaving," Gerald said leaning forward to give her a kiss on the cheek. "Goodbye."

Misaki was surprised by the goodbye kiss as she and Gerald weren't close to these things. It was weird. She noticed a mortified expression on Geralds's face and realized it was because of the deadly aura coming from Takumi.

Misaki swore she heard the sound of a dog growling.

"Takumi?" Gerald called to his brother. He took a step back unsure of what he would do. His eyes widened when he noticed Takumi getting closer to him. "Misaki!" Gerald screamed running away from his brother who chased after him.

Misaki sighed at their behavior. It was best she left know so Takumi wouldn't attempt to come with her. She hoped they bonded more now that she was leaving.

Misaki went back to the car with her luggage to head to the airport. She couldn't wait to be in Japan again.
