Chapter 26

"You seem troubled," Fon said as he put the tea before him.

Harry sighed as the pleasant aroma hit him. Unfortunately, it didn't calm him down like it usually did.

"Not good?" Fon asked, smiling as always. He always gives Harry a smile. Out of all of his guardians, Fon was the only one who was truly calm and steady. He also seemed to give his every attention to Harry. Harry had never been the whole focus of someone. It was a little bit

strange, but…nice too. Harry was so confused.

They were sitting at their usual spot. Their newly arrived stone table gleamed in the sunlight. Their garden hasn't finished yet, but it was a good start.

"No, the tea's fine," Harry said as he shook his head. "I guess I'm just missing him."

"Ah." Fon nodded and put his tea down. "I didn't think you would…miss him this much."

Harry looked at Fon, who appeared as calm as usual on the surface, but Harry could see Fon's displeasure. His brow ticked there and his smile was a little tight.

"I don't know. It's not like I miss him that much. It's just something is… missing, gone." Harry flushed when Fon looked at him questionably. He didn't understand it himself. Inside of him something was definitly not right. He was angry and irritable and empty.

Orange hummed in agreement.

'Sleep! It's your fault, know,' Harry thought. Harry could constantly feel Orange, but luckily Orange seem to be only active if something interesting come up. He didn't want to look crazy by always spacing out.

"Maybe it's the bond." Fon suggested. "Our bonds are still new. It's possible that one of us being too far away would cause irritation."

Harry nodded as he took a sip.

"As always, your tea is the best," Harry sighed in pleasure.

"Everything is for you." Fon smiled and his eyes softened.

"Um...I-" Harry felt his face go red. He was not used to this!

Fon chuckled and was about to pour a second cup when he suddenly froze. Fon was out of his seat and grabbing Harry before he even knew what was happening. With a lurch and a whooshing sound in his ears, Harry found himself meters away and in Fon's arms. Harry looked back at their table and shuddered. Their spot was filled with black knives and the shards of their broken china littered on the ground.

Harry thought about those sharp knives going through his body and gulped.

"It's rude to interrupt people," Fon said, still holding Harry. Harry could feel Fon's muscles tensed and ready to move at a moment's notice.

"What? I can't give greetings to Dage?" A man dressed in black stepped out from the shadows. He was Asian, like Fon, with slanted black eyes and shorter black hair. Unlike Fon, the man's eyes held nothing but malice.

"Jian," Fon said, his tone seemingly indifferent.

"Dage," Jian replied with a short nod. At the man's signal, more men jumped out from the shadows. "From your stance, you don't want that boy to get hurt. To think you are this vulnerable! If I didn't use this chance, my ancestors would cough up blood!"

Another gesture and the men surrounded them in a flash.

"Dage, I will give you a chance! Come with me and we won't scar your pretty boy," Jian said, pointing his short sword at Harry.

"If you think for one moment that I would let you harm him, then you're delusional," Fon said as he tightened his grip.

Harry nudged Orange subtly, trying not to draw attention by flaring his aura, while making sure Orange was alert to the danger. Orange just yawned. 'Brat! Now's the time to wake up!' Harry coaxed stubbornly.

"Hold on!" With that said, Fon jumped away from the intruders. A veritable rain of knives struck the ground where they had been.

"I knew you would say that!" Jian seemed happy as he chased after them and struck out at Fon as fast as an arrow.

Fon dodged Jian's sword and then kicked the next wave of knives away, still holding Harry. Harry's eyes couldn't track their fast movements. He could only hold on as Fon told him to and tried not to distract him as he fought with Jian.

Fon jumped quickly and landed on a tree branch. Harry hastily fixed his glasses – they'd nearly fallen off – as the black cloaked men jumped up beside them.

Without eve a parting word, Fon ran away from the fight.

"Coward!" Jian laughed behind them. "Is that boy really so important to you?"

Fon didn't rise to the bait. His only thought was protecting Harry.

They ran until they reached the edge of the trees. Harry expected see his other guardians, but saw another bunch of black-dressed men instead. They were surrounded again!

"If you're looking for your friends, I'm afraid they're a little busy at the moment!" Jian laughed for a moment before he looked coldly at Fon and said, "You know you can't defeat me without injuring the boy. Come with us and we will leave the boy here, alive. If only you were alone, then you won't be in this predicament."

"Alright," Fon said as he gently put Harry down. Harry was shocked and didn't move until it looked like Fon was about to walk away.

"What? Fon!" Harry grabbed Fon's hand and looked at him desperately.

"Please don't worry about me." Fon smiled, but his smile didn't reach his eyes.

"No! What if they hurt you?!" Harry growled, and a very awake Orange growled along with him. Harry whirled back to Jian and glared. "I won't let you take him!"

"What can you do?" Jian asked, leering.

"I can't fight like you guys, but I can protect my friends!" Harry gathered all of his frustration and anger together and blasted them with his sky flames. When the men were pushed far enough away, his flames surged up to the sky. It became an enormous flame tower that could be seen from a great distance, which was exactly what he wanted.

"Oh, look at that. I think it's two floors high," Verde said off-handedly.

"Stop looking at the fire and help me!" Colonello yelled as he dodged another ninja. A goddamn ninja! And they were everywhere too!

"Stop messing around! Harry need us," Lal ordered as she shot at one who was fool enough to attack them.

"Hear that, kora?! Maximum Burst!" Colonello fired and his rain flames followed into his signature attack, taking down several ninja.

It wasn't much longer until all of their enemies were finished.

"Verde, you don't seem worried. Why?" Lal asked as they made their way to the spot where they saw the sky flame surge.

"By my calculation, Harry is not in danger," Verde said.

"Hey! Explain, kora!" Colonello jumped over a fallen tree as they followed the signs of destruction. They were getting near to where the battle took place.

"Well, he has Fon with him, for one. Second, these ninjas are from the Triad." Verde grinned as they spotted a very confused looking Harry, who was standing beside Fon. More of those pesky ninja were kneeling in front of Harry with signed clothes. "Recently, the Triads had been forbidden from hurting skies in any shape or form. According to their new policy, only a sky can dominate another sky," Verde said with satisfaction.

"Um, guys, can you tell these men to stand up?" Harry suggested.

"Please, I can't. Have mercy!" the man crawled away from the demon standing above him. He was just a black smith! He was not suited for this kind of stuff.

"Tch, go away," Ren said curtly as he crushed the proffered weapon. Another failure. Nothing worthy of his sky.

"Thank you, thank you," the man stumbled to his feet and ran to the door. The door shut with a loud bang as man hurriedly left.

"Next is..." Ren stopped as he felt a presence. Someone with very familiar sky flames was coming. This thought was followed by a knock on the door.

"Enter, Don!" Ren said as he sat down. He didn't know why Vongola was here, but he was sure it wasn't to hurt him. Not when Ren still owed them a debt, anyway. It would be a waste.

"Oh, my friend, it seems you're scaring them away," Timoteo said with wry grin. His guardian Coyote hovered beside him and glared at the hitman.

"I'm in a bad mood," Ren said as he looked at his list. "What are you doing here anyway?"

"I'm just inspecting the rumors. They said the greatest hitman has gone crazy. All the blacksmiths are going into hiding," Timoteo said cheerfully.

"It's none of your business," Ren said, his eyes never leaving his list. Then he remembered Talbot - Vongola's weapon smith. "Say, what's the price for your weapon smith?" Ren asked nonchalantly.

"You read my mind. One mission and I'll set up a meeting between you two. But remember, he's an eccentric man. His answer depends on his whim," Timoteo warned.

Ren waved away his warning. He was sure. He could feel in his gut that Talbot was the one and his instinct never let him astray.

A/n: Yay, I wrote another chapter. Sadly, it's short. Thank you for all your supports. I really needed that. Anyway Harry and I are now going to mess with Chinese mafia. I will try to implement many cultures, and most of them will be fake so don't take to heart. As for Kawahira and curse, it will be after whole this Triad mess. Also Harry need to shake of Vongola's interest and meet Sirius. Eh, so much to write.

Bye everyone , until next chapter
