Chapter 143

Author's notes: Sorry this took so long, please read and review!

Naruto was furious. He wasn't sure he had ever been this angry at Hinata. He was currently with his team, minus Hinata, she hadn't shown up yet. She was an hour late at this point. He finally called a break. He had been pushing his Hanabi and Konohamaru extremely hard for the last hour. They dropped to the ground breathing hard, even Hanabi was showing how gassed she was.

"Good work Hanabi, Konohamaru, you guys rest up for the next ten minutes. I'll be right back." Naruto told his team. He needed to go get Hinata, he was going to give her an ear full. He didn't care that she went out and hung out with her friends the night before. However, to be so irresponsible to be late to team training, to miss the entire hour of warmup. Not only had she disrespected him, but she had also disrespected everyone on the team. It was their time, and it was unacceptable to be late let alone that late. He wasn't just disappointed in her, he was furious at her. If she wanted him to be just her sensei, not her friend like she said last night, fine, he would come down on her like her sensei.

He flashed into his house and walked to her door, trying to calm himself down, screaming wouldn't do any good, he would need to approach this calmly. He could punish her in training, but screaming and hurting her feelings would not help anything.

He knocked on the door and waited, he heard nothing. He growled, knocking again. Again he heard nothing, finally, he reached down and opened the door barging in, yelling, "HINATA! WHY ARE YOU STILL…" He stopped as he sniffed the air.

It smelled like vomit, he was next to her in no time, she was in bed, on her side, laying in a pool of vomit. Her eyes were half opened, but she was seeing nothing. They were blank. There was foam rolling down her cheek from her mouth. Naruto's heart rate skyrocketed, something was very wrong, it wasn't alcohol poisoning, it was something else. He took her pulse, it was weak and her breaths were coming very short and slow.

Naruto cursed and grabbed her, he flashed her to the hospital, screaming as he walked in, "I need help!"

A nurse rushed to him and took Hinata from him, placing her on a gurney on her stomach, "What happened?"

Naruto shook his head, "I don't know, she was out last night, she didn't show up at training this morning, I went to check on her but she was like this, laying in a puddle of her own vomit."

The nurse nodded, "I need to take her to a room. Stay here."

Naruto shook his head, "I'm not staying here, I'm coming with you."

The woman shook her head, "No. You will stay here unless you're family." With that, the nurse disappeared with a shunshin.

Naruto's mouth dropped open, "What the fuck is going on?"

Naruto then created two shadow clones, one to go tell his team what happened, the other to go get Ino and Shikamaru to find out what was going on. He needed the two that were with Hinata to tell him what the fuck happened. He then walked to the front desk to try to get information on Hinata.

"Hey, I just brought Hinata Hyuga in, the nurse took her without saying anything, can I get some information?" Naruto asked.

"Give me a moment to see what I can find out please." The front desk receptionist kindly told him.

She came back four minutes later and told him, "I'm sorry, but at the moment I can't tell you anything unless you are family."

Naruto raised an eyebrow, " I'm her sensei."

"I'm sorry, I can't tell you anything." The woman told him.

"Take me to her then," Naruto growled.

"I'm sorry but I can't." She told Naruto.

Naruto sighed, this wasn't going anywhere, "Look, either you tell me what is going on, and take me to her, or I'll go to her now, and figure it out myself."

"I can't help you. I'm sorry, I'm under orders." The woman told him.

Naruto growled, "He located the Flying Thunder God seal that was on Hinata and flashed to it.

…

Naruto's clone appeared in the clearing his other students were in. "Hinata won't be joining training today. I'm still unsure why, but she is very sick, and currently in the hospital."

Konohamaru looked at him seriously, "Is she okay?"

"I don't know yet," Naruto told him.

"Why aren't you with her?" Konohamaru asked him.

"I am, the real me is. I'm a clone, I want to continue training you."

Hanabi scoffed and started to walk away, "I knew my weak sister was going to hold us back. Now you aren't even training us to your best ability because she is too weak to train two days in a row."

Naruto growled, "You don't get it. You just don't seem to get it, you spoiled little brat. Hinata is the strongest genin on my team. Konohamaru is the second strongest. That leaves you, the spoiled supposedly strongest as the weak link. Hinata could destroy you without trying now. If this team doesn't work it's because you couldn't cut it. It falls to me to get you ready and on par with Konohamaru so they don't have to carry you through the exams."

"How dare you talk to me like that!" Hanabi raged at Naruto, "I'm the clan heir to the Hyuga! my father may let you disrespect the Hyuga, but I will not"

Naruto's eyes turned red, "What are you going to do about it? You're a sorry excuse for a ninja, there is nothing you can do to me."

Hanabi glared at him, but knew he was right, he was far stronger than her. "Good," Naruto said, "You're starting to get it. The two of you better listen closely, Konohamaru knows this already, but Hanabi, you don't seem to get it, so listen closely. You have no rank to me. I don't care who your family is. You will listen to me, and do as I say. Hanabi you were sent here by your father because if I don't change your attitude, you'll end up face down in a ditch somewhere. And you want to know the worst part? No one will give a damn. No one will be sad, no one will mourn the frigid cold bitch Hanabi."

Hanabi stood there, mouth agape, no one had ever spoken to her like that. She had no idea what to say.

"Hinata got drugged last night. I'm not sure by what yet. She almost died," Naruto told them, "Hanabi, you are so filled with hate for your older sister that you don't even care that she almost died?"

Hanabi glared at him, "She is no longer my sister. She lost that title when she betrayed the clan to that snake. She lost that title when she shacked up with you like the whore she is."

Naruto's eyes widened, "Your backwards ass clan was going to torture her more and kill her because she was tortured for years at the hands of that snake bastard Orochimaru. Your clan was punishing her for that."

"Wrong! The elders punished her for betraying the clan. She was treated as a political prisoner. She wasn't harmed until she tried to escape." Hanabi told him.

Naruto growled, he was so sick of this with Hanabi, she just couldn't see past the elder's bullshit. It was then that this clone got memories from another. Hinata was finally set up in a hospital room. Naruto created another clone and grabbed Hanabi. He immediately flashed into the hospital room and

Hanabi fell down with the disorientation that came with being teleported by Naruto. "What the Hell!" She screamed. Then she looked up and saw Hinata on the hospital bed writhing in pain.

The Clone Naruto disappeared in a puff of smoke letting the real Naruto know what was going on. The real Naruto looked down at Hanabi. "Does this look like she was a simple political prisoner?"

Hanabi looked at her older sister on the bed clutching her abdomen. She wasn't even aware of Naruto and Hanabi being in the room. "W-Whats wrong with her? This can't be from her being imprisoned."

"She wasn't a political prisoner. She was more of a sex slave than a political prisoner." Naruto told her, creating another clone that flashed away upon poofing into existence. "She was tortured daily, she was degraded and humiliated every day. Treated like a mutt. When I found her she was stuffed in a dog cage in Kabuto's room."

Hanabi couldn't look away from her sister as she rolled on the bed. The sight of her sister in so much pain held her attention. How had her sister come into this much pain?

Naruto's clone reappeared and handed him a folder. Naruto looked at the contents then closed it and held it out to Hanabi. "These were taken as payback to one of Hinata's old mentors, Anko Mitarashi. Anko had the gall to ask Orochimaru if she could take Hinata's place. Orochimaru went back to his layer and tortured Hinata. Sent these pictures to Anko afterwards."

Hanabi took the folder and cried out as something burned her hand.

"Hinata would be humiliated if she knew you saw these, and you're such a bitch that you may use this against her. So I've sealed you so you can never talk to anyone about these. Your body won't write it, your mouth won't speak it. Please don't even try or your hand will feel like it's on fire." Naruto told her.

Hanabi glared at him, but opened the folder. What she saw shocked her. Hinata strung up naked while Orochimaru toyed with her. She was a bloody mess as the snake hurt her even more.

Hanabi's mouth dropped open as she saw what her sister went through. Naruto chose that time to speak up, "This was a bad day for her, but nowhere near the worst. She went through so much worse."

Hanabi nodded, her gaze softening, "So what's wrong with her now?"

"Kabuto messed with her womb. Your sister has always wanted children, she's always wanted to be a mom. Kabuto took that away from her. He injected her with a substance that destroys her eggs. Like cancer. She was drugged last night with a hormonal aphrodisiac. It interacted with the substance Kabuto created and the synthetic cancer is attacking her because of it. Hopefully the morphine will kick in soon.

Hanabi didn't know what to say, "Why would the elders tell me she was a political prisoner turned traitor if she wasn't."

"The elders of your clan hate her. They've always hated her. They believe that she doesn't belong in the clan. Her being broken by Orochimaru was just part of it. They don't want her to be heiress because they believe that she will end the branch family and take away that caged bird seal. They hate her because they are worried they will lose all of their power. The hate they have for her has just festered as she left their power and moved in with me."

"She shouldn't have ever left the Hyuga. It would have all worked itself out." Hanabi told him, "She abandoned the clan and they will continue to punish her for it."

Naruto sighed he had a lot of work to do to help Hanabi see the light. "Hanabi, for someone with all seeing eyes, you are so blind sometimes. Hinata never wanted to leave the clan. She wanted to stay there. She wasn't given an option. Your father made her move in with me."

Hanabi raised an eyebrow, "Why would he do that? Aren't the two of you supposed to be betrothed? Father would've known that would hurt the chances the elders would have ever agreed."

"He wasn't given an option. He had to in order to keep her safe. The first time he was out of the village your clan elders put masks on, sealed Hinata, broke her arm, and tortured her repetitively. He brought her to me out of desperation. Plus, why do you care if we get married? Don't you hate us both?"

Hanabi scoffed, "I was just telling you. Don't act like I've suddenly had a change of heart."

"I wouldn't dream of warming the frigid cold of your heart." Naruto told her, "Plus if your clan disowned her why would they care who she marries now."

Hanabi shook her head, "She was disowned as the head of the clan, the heiress. The clan still holds all rights to her. She will be married off to someone else to increase clan relations. This is her duty as a Hyuga."

Naruto growled, "Your shit clan just can't let her alone can you. You just want to continuously ruin her life don't you?"

Hanabi didn't say anything to that, there was nothing she could say. It did seem like the clan just wanted to screw with her sister's life.

"Do you have any idea how much your sister loves you?" Naruto asked her offhandedly.

Hanabi shook her head, "Silly shit like that doesn't matter in the real world."

"Why do you hate your sister?" Naruto asked.

"I-I don't her, and she isn't my sister." Hanabi told him.

"Well you fooled me, you fooled your dad, hell you fooled your sister. Everyone thinks you hate your sister." Naruto told her.

Hanabi frowned, Naruto started to think that he was getting through to her, "Why won't you make up with her? The two of you really need to work together. Yet you refuse to. She gave you the key to passing my test yesterday. All you had to do was listen to her and work as a team, instead you were embarrassed in front of everyone"

"I won't follow someone weaker and of less standing than myself. I'm a clan heiress and she is of the branch family. It would be unbecoming of me to take her orders. That's why I have to protest in her being the team leader. As the heiress of one of the most important clans in Konoha I refuse to be underneath her." Hanabi told him.

Naruto sighed, "How many S ranked missions have you been on?"

"None." Hanabi told him.

"A ranked missions?" Naruto asked her.

"None. You know all of this." Hanabi told him.

"I'm trying to make sure you know these things." Naruto told her, "You have a lot to learn, and don't have the needed experience to lead a team. Hinata, on the other hand, has been through hell and back. She knows how to keep her head up when the chips are down. She has been through 3 S ranked missions, as well as several A ranked missions. You have to see that she has experience on you."

"She is still inferior to me." Hanabi told him, "She's weaker than me, she has less standing, she isn't as smart, I had better grades in the academy, I was top of my class. I'm a natural born leader. She is traitorous trash. She is below me and I refuse to listen to her."

Naruto growled, "I've told you to stop talking about her like that. Even if you won't accept her as your sister, you will accept her as your teammate and I order you to stop talking about her like that."

Hanabi huffed, "Fine, can I go now? I need to train."

Naruto nodded, "Go ahead, When Hinata gets out of here, I'm holding a fight between the two of you, the winner can lead the team. Hinata won't be holding back this time though, you may want to train hard so she doesn't wipe the floor with you."

Hanabi glared at him, "Why would you do that to her? Put her in a hopeless battle against someone far superior to her."

Naruto scoffed, "Hanabi, you are far too arrogant for your own good."

Hanabi didn't say anything else as she left the room.

Naruto sighed and looked back down at Hinata, "I'm sorry." He told her.

…

Naruto's clone jumped down next to Shikamaru, "Shika, I need some information."

Shikamaru raised an eyebrow, he had been enjoying watching clouds and relaxing. "Naruto, what's up?"

"Hinata was drugged last night, I need to know if anyone was hanging around her." Naruto told him the situation. "The drug is reacting badly with her system, she's in the hospital. I need to find out who it was and what it is."

Shikamaru's eyebrow went up, "Well obviously I can't tell you what the drug is, but the guy's name is Ken, he's a chunin. He was hitting her up trying to get her to dance with him. Hinata was starting to act a little weird after he gave her a drink, I just thought she was getting drunk, she had been drinking for a while after all. The guy was very interested in trying to walk her home, so I'm pretty sure he was the guy."

Naruto nodded, "Sounds about right to me. Where do you think I can find him?"

Shikamaru sighed, "I'm not sure. You're probably going to have to ask Lady Tsunade."

Naruto sighed, "Yeah...I was hoping you didn't say that."

Shikamaru laughed, "What did you do this time?"

"Well I may have disrupted her hospital, and I'm positive that her doctor has already told her about that." Naruto told his friend.

"You freaked when you took Hinata to the hospital didn't you?" Shikamaru asked laughing.

"Yeah kind of. They wouldn't let me go with her to the room. I wanted to know what was going on. So I waited until she was in her room and then used the Flying Thunder God to teleport to her. I found out what was going on, but the doctor wasn't so happy about me showing up and upsetting the staff."

Shikamaru laughed, "Yeah she won't be happy with you."

Naruto was about to respond when a member of Anbu jumped down in front of him, "Naruto, come with me, Lady Hokage wants you."

Naruto nodded, "In her office?"

The anbu nodded, "You may not want to just barge in like normal. She is in the middle of an important meeting. She needs your consultation, however, expects you to show decorum." The anbu slipped his mask off to show it was Captain Yamato. "Naruto, this is important. She sent me for a reason."

Naruto raised an eyebrow and nodded, "Understood." With that the Naruto clone popped, and informed the original Naruto.

The original Naruto appeared in front of the Hokage tower, walking in and up the stairs, he nodded to Shizune who walked him to the door knocking, and opening the door to the council chambers and announcing Naruto.

Naruto nodded to Tsunade as he walked in, "Lady Tsunade, Lord Third, Lord Homura, Lady Koharu, Lord Hiashi, Jiraiya Sensei, Kakashi Sensei. Naruto acknowledged all the high ranking leaders of Konoha. "What can I assist you with Lady Tsunade? Naruto asked. In his head he groaned, that they must be having an extremely important meeting, why would he possibly be needed.

"Naruto, how is Hinata?" Tsunade asked.

"She's doing better. The morphine kicked in just before you called for me. Thank you for asking Lady Tsunade." Naruto told her.

"Good, now down to business, this meeting is about what happened to her. She isn't the first person to be hit with this drug. It's been going around at clubs in the area, and several kunoichi have been hospitalized after it being used on them. The user's haven't been found, the kunoichi don't even remember they went out the night before."

Naruto raised an eyebrow, "Have any kunoichi had this bad of a reaction?"

"No. It's singular to Hinata." Tsunade told him. "The kunoichi who have been affected are all mostly fine, but they all showed signs of sexual assault when they were checked in the hospital. It's a new kind of date rape drug. It was very masterfully crafted, and until now we haven't been able to get any of it to test and analyze. That changed when you brought in Hinata this morning."

Naruto nodded, "Right, thank you for telling me."

"That isn't all, the only reason you're here is you know more than anyone else about Kabuto Yakushi." Tsunade told him, "We suspect he is making these drugs, we're worried that he's working his way into the village."
