Kurt stepped off of the elevator the next morning skeptical of the coming day. In his jacket were some pictures from Amelia's past, pictures that contained moments of memories that were gone forever. As he reached the monitors where the rest of his team were waiting, Mayfair waved for him to come to her office.

"Good morning ma'am," he said entering the glass room.

"Good morning," Mayfair replied. "Amelia, I asked Kurt to bring in some pictures. Maybe they will trigger some of your memory," she said turning her attention to the quiet woman.

"Ok," she said standing up slowly.

"You two can go out," Mayfair stated. "Maybe grab a coffee or something."

The two left the FBI building and headed downtown. Kurt took her to a small coffee house.

"We used to come here a lot," he said holding the door open for her. They proceeded towards the counter to order. "One regular coffee dark please," Kurt ordered. "What do you want?" Jane examined the menu stunned.

"I don't know what I like," she said plainly.

"And a caramel macchiato," Kurt ordered for her.

"Caramel macchiato?"

"You loved it," Kurt said smiling. Once they had their coffee, they both took a seat and Kurt pulled some of the pictures out of his jacket.

"Here are some pictures I grabbed from your belongings," he said handing the articles over to her. Amelia flipped through them, examining the moments frozen in time. She stopped at a picture of a family.

"Who are they?" she asked.

"That is your family. That is your mother, father, brother, and you," Kurt explained as he pointed out each member. Amelia flipped to another picture.

"And him?" she asked looking at the picture of a soldier.

"That is a picture that your brother sent you from overseas. Colonel Ethan Davis. He served in the army for five years."

"Where are they? Do they know that I'm ok?"

Kurt was silent for a moment.

"No..." he said trailing off. "That picture was the last time you heard from your brother."

"What happened to him?" she asked confused and shocked.

"He was killed shortly after that by an IED."

"And my parents?"

"Your father had a heart attack 10 years ago and your mother... your mother is very sick and in the hospital. She started to deteriorate after you went missing. I've been taking care of her, visiting her in the hospital," Kurt said pained.

"Can I-Can I see her?" Amelia asked. Kurt inhaled deeply.

"Come with me."
