Bluestar's POV

I was eating fresh kill, and suddenly I heard Oakheart and Thrustpelt hissing at each other. I stopped eating, and went over to them. "What's the problem here?" I said. Oakheart was the first to reply, "this fox dung loves you!". I growled quietly. Two toms love me? That's crazy! I need to end this fight. "What about we talk this out and stop fighting?" I said, trying to sound confident. Thrustpelt looked at me for a heartbeat and sighed saying, "I don't know why I even try...you love Oakheart don't you?" there was pain in his meow, and I struggled to find the words. "I-I love both of you..." I said. Oakheart glanced at me and Thrushpelt, back and forth, then said, "Bluestar will always love me! She will never love a rotten fox dung, like YOU!". I gasped, and Thrushpelt looked at me, with hurt in his eyes. "Bluestar...is it true?...Is what he said..true?" I sighed, trying to find the right words.

Thrushpelt's POV

I loved Bluestar. But I also wanted to know if she really loved me. She looked like she was struggling to find the words. My heart was broken. She doesn't love me. "Bluestar?" I asked. But she was silent, with pain in her eyes. She didn't want to hurt me, but I know she didn't love me. "I'm so sorry Thrustpelt...the truth is..I love Oakheart", she said. I glanced at Oakheart, he looked very, very happy, but he didn't say anything, he just purred. I tried to hide my anger. I was hurt, and angry. I felt like a thorn was caught in my heart. I sighed. "I'm sorry.." Bluestar said quietly. I nodded, and said, "I understand..I mean who would want to be with me anyways?". Then I left, my tail drooping. I was heartbroken, and also very angry.
