A Whisper is all it Takes to Know that You're Okay.

Sleep.

That's what he wanted.

He wasn't tired, not exactly. Frankly, he doubted he would be able to drift off for more than a second.

In reality, sleep wasn't what he wanted.

He wanted dreams.

He wanted her.

Her.

Sleep.

That's what she wanted.

She wasn't just tired. No, she was exhausted.

Grief can take it's toll on you, especially when the one you loved is gone.

But if she slept, she would dream.

Dream of him.

Him.

Sleep.

It didn't come easy.

Not to either of them.

He wasn't at all tired. She couldn't focus.

It was impossible.

Yet all they wanted,

sleep.

She was gone.

Left in the mountains.

Left in the past.

But she was here.

She was here right beside him.

So he whispered.

"I love you."

He wasn't there.

He had left, she knew.

So why could she hear him?

"I love you."

She smiled.

"I love you too Jay's Wing"

Sleep.

It came easy after that.

And dreams?

They could finally meet again.
