Here it is! This story was requested by Guest to do a Lesse story. So, my second MCSM one shot, here's Turning Back!

Lukas was walking through the woods. He only knew one thing. He was leaving the town and never coming back. He hated everyone, everything, and all about it. He had no friends to turn to. The Ocelots ditched him, Jesse didn't seem to care about him, and above all, he was pretty hated in general.

Jesse.

Lukas couldn't get the tough brunette out of his mind. He stopped and looked back.

No. He wasn't turning back. He looked back to the road ahead.

He kept thinking about her as he walked. The way Jesse tried to treat everyone as an equal. He rembered her from high school, always hanging out with the most unpopular kids. That's why his group bullied her so much. They thought she was a nerd. Weak. An idiot. But Lukas knew better Jesse was only trying to be nice to everyone.

Jesse was even nice to him during the Witherstorm. She had run back to get him from Ivor's base when nobody else did. She had stood up to him in front of her friends, given him her cookie, and convinced him to stay. Maybe him leaving wasn't because he didn't like her. Maybe it was because she was thinking he wanted to be with the Ocelots.

And maybe Lukas was being nice to her. He never liked it or joined in when the Ocelots bullied her. He did jump into the dark, flooded ravine to try and save her. And, spite of himself, he was falling in love with her. Maybe she liked him too.

Maybe...

And Lukas turned back around and walked back into town.

Jesse looked back to the woods where Lukas had left.

"Jesse?" asked Petra. "Everyone's going to go get something to eat. You want to join us?"

"I'll catch up. You guys go ahead." Jesse told her.

"Okay. Meet you at the treehouse!" Petra called, walking away.

Jesse walked over to Ruben's memorial. She placed down a poppy in one of the vases.

"It's been a week now buddy. But I already miss you." Jesse said sadly. "I guess I need some guidance..."

Lukas peeked his head over some bushes.

"I don't know what to do. Lukas left without saying anything to anyone... and it's all my fault. I shouldn't have let him go. It's all my fault. What if something bad happens to him? And I never even got to say goodbye. I love him! I can't help it! He's sweet, kind, cute, funny... he's everything you could ever want in a guy! And what do I do? I push him away. Ruben, Magnus... if you guys are up there... let Lukas know how sorry I am and I want him to come back to the team." Jesse said out loud. "Tell him... we miss him."

Lukas stepped out into the town from the woods. Jesse didn't notice him until he walked over.

"Visiting Ruben?" he asked.

"Yeah. I just needed to talk to him about something. I mean, I did something to chase away s realy nice guy I go had a really big crush on. And I just hope he can, well... tell the guy how bad I feel." Jesse ssid, not noticing she was talking to Lukas.

"I think he does." Lukas said.

Jesse looked up and saw Lukas. She gasped.

"Lukas!" she exclaimed, standing up and hugging him. "I'm so sorry!"

"It's okay... I heard everything. And I'm sorry too." Lukas responded.

"I love you Lukas." Jesse told him.

"I love you too." Lukas responded.

Olivia, Axel, and Petra looked over the scene.

"Well, what do you know?" said Olivia. "I'm happy if Jesse's happy."

"Lukas is a decent guy. She'll be happy with him." Petra told her.

"And he knows if he hurts her, I'll destroy him." Axel added.

"Come on guys, let's leave them be. Petra responded.

And with that, Olivia, Axel, and Petra left the scene.
