The moon slowly dipped below the horizon as the sun began to light the sky with various shades of pink, purple, and blue. It was a sight he wouldn't mind seeing again. The Walls, blocked his view from seeing the sunrise and moonset. How he dreamed of a world where he could live without the fear of Titans.

"Well, I suppose in a way I am," he thought as he glanced around the camp from the sleeping bag he was laying in, "Except, demons are the enemy here and they can attack at any moment, but at least everyone here lives freely." Armin reached his hand to the sky, "Where am I? Better yet, when am I? Am I in the past or in the future? This isn't he supposed to happen. Only in the fantasy world does things like this happen."

Armin sighed as he slipped out from the sleeping bag, careful not to disturb the sleeping kitsune. The demon slayer had already risen and was silently gathering her things around the campfire. The monk still slept, propped against the bark of the tree that Inuyasha occupied.

He scanned his eyes through the tree but did not see the half demon. "I wonder where he went," he shrugged his shoulders as he began stuffing things in the yellow backpack that Kagome carried around with her. It was probably a regular thing that the silver haired half demon disappeared in the middle of the night. He glanced at the demon slayer from the corner of his eye. She too had searched the tree looking for her friend. When she did not find him, a scowl found its way onto her face. "Okay, maybe not."

His eyes found the bow laying beside the sleeping bag he had been in. Armin let out a soft sigh as he bent down and brushed his fingers over the bow.

"I'm going to get someone hurt if I don't learn how to use this," he bit his lip, "They don't really teach us how to use a bow. Maybe I should ask Sasha," Armin's shoulders slumped. When will he see Sasha again? It was only the second time he had switched bodies with the woman named Kagome, but it seemed as if it wouldn't be the last time.

It was dangerous, especially for her, for the two of them to be switching bodies. "I'm protected walls that keep the Titans out for the most part. The only thing to really worry about it is the Colossal and Armoured Titan breaking through the walls and allowing the rest of the Titans through. But, here, demons could attack at any given moment. They have no walls. Not even the villages are safe." Armin Arlert was determined to find the cause of his peculiar situation.

Sango had been watching her friend aimlessly roam through the camp. The demon slayer was not as dense as the other two and knew something was going on with her best friend. Kagome wasn't exactly Kagome. "What if Naraku disguised himself as her and has the real Kagome locked away?"

Sango bit her lip and shook her head of the thought. There was no way. Maybe she was just having an off week. The demon slayer tried to convince herself that everything was okay and that Kagome was okay. "I'll just have to keep a closer eye on her. Just to be safe." Even if Naraku had disguised himself as Kagome, there would be no way he'd be able to purify the shards. Now, they just had to wait until they found Kouga or until the wolf demon found them, whichever comes first.

Inuyasha returned shortly after Miroku woke from his slumber, Sango was preparing breakfast, with Kagome (Armin). For once the half demon didn't have to wake anyone up. When he stepped foot into the camp he was great with a disapproving look from Sango and a smile and wave from Kagome. He blinked. Her reaction was different, usually she'd avoid looking at him and when she did she usually glared at him for running off in the middle of the night.

"Kagome, would you wake up Shippo?" Sango asked as she began serving breakfast.

He nodded and approached the sleeping bag that he shared with the kitsune. He gently pulled the covers open and shook him awake, "Shippo, it's time to get up and eat. We'll be leaving soon."

Shippo pulled himself from the warmth of the sleeping bag. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and let out a yawn. He gave Armin a toothy grin, "Mornin!" Armin smiled and ruffled his hair.

As everyone was packing their stuff and getting ready to head out, Armin dug through the giant yellow backpack and pulled out the shirt and green skirt he remembered wearing. He grimaced at the thought of wearing the short skirt. It didn't seem like it was a good travel material. Nonetheless, the soldier dipped just out of sight from Miroku and Inuyasha. He removed the pajamas he was wearing and slipped the shirt over his head and pulled the skirt up. "I never would have imagined I'd be wearing such clothing." he tugged at the end of the short green skirt wishing it was longer.

After making sure everything was covered, he emerged from the bushes, everyone stood waiting for him.

"Ya done yet?" Inuyasha had his arms crossed over his chest.

"Y-yes. Sorry for making you wait," he lifted the backpack and slung it over his shoulder and grabbed his weapons. "That I have no idea how to use."

"All right, let's go!" Inuyasha took charge of the group. The half demon sniffed the air and headed in a direction.

"Where are we going again?" Armin asked Miroku as they followed Inuyasha through the forest.

"We are seeking out Kouga for his jewel shards. Hopefully we beat Naraku to them. Afterwards, I imagine we'll all group get together and form a battle plan for Naraku's ultimate demise," Miroku smiled at his dear friend as they walked through the thick forest.

"I see…"

"I suppose Inuyasha is not all too excited about teaming up with his half brother and Kouga, but we'll need their help if we wish to defeat Kagura and Kanna and any other Incarnation that Naraku may have created," Miroku sighed. Naraku wasn't his only worry.

The monk glanced to the woman beside him, she was oddly quiet. "Is something on your mind, Lady Kagome?" she didn't answer him. "Kagome?"

"Are you talking to me?" Armin asked.

"Of course, what other Lady Kagome would be here? You are truly one of a kind." Miroku gave her a concerned look, but offered her a smile. "By the way, you haven't visited your family in quite some time, perhaps we should head back to the Kaeda's village."

"O-Oh, sure," Armin agreed.

"Oh hell no!" Inuyasha roared. He suddenly turned around and was in front of Armin before he could blink, "We are THIS close to defeating that bastard Naraku! The next time we see him, only one side is coming out alive!"

"Inuyasha! How insensitive could you be!" Sango snapped, "This is the FINAL battle, none of us know if we're going to make it out alive or not! This could be Kagome's last time seeing her family!"

The ears on Inuyasha's head flattened against his skull.

"Not to mention, it would be vital for her stock up on medical supplies as well. I'm sure we'll need them," Miroku chimed in as well, "We're not far from Lady Kaeda's village. We'd be there by late afternoon!"

"Fine!" Inuyasha stomped off, heading towards the village they had spoken about. Armin silently prayed that Inuyasha would prevent him from going, but the other two brought of valid points that the half demon just couldn't ignore.

Sango stared at the priestess as she walked ahead of her and Miroku. Shippo was in her arms chatting away as if nothing was wrong. Kagome would smile and nod at the kit, but hardly said anything. She let him do all the talking. "Naraku can't use the well like Kagome and Inuyasha can. If she jumps and doesn't go through, I'll know for sure."

Armin was terrified. He was going to meet the family he knew nothing about. It sent him over the edge. If anyone was going to figure out that he wasn't actually Kagome, it was her family. He bit his lip as the group continued walking and Shippo kept talking to him.

Before he even realized it, they had appeared before a small village surrounded by a vast forest. His nerves only grew as the group entered a small hut. An elderly woman dressed in red and white appeared before them.

"I was not aware ye were returning so soon," the woman spoke.

"Yeah, well, Kagome needs to go home and get some stuff," Inuyasha made his way to the corner of the hut and settled himself there. He tucked his arms in the sleeves of his robe and closed his eyes. The ears atop his head switched ever so often.

"Y-yeah," Armin gave the woman a nervous smile. "This must be Lady Kaeda."

"Allow me to walk you to the well, Lady Kagome." Miroku smiled at the priestess. Inuyasha gave him a glare that clearly said if he touched her he'd break his arms. Miroku gave him a reassuring smile.

"Sure," Armin nodded and followed the monk outside the hut.

Sango said nothing as she watched the two of them disappear. She then turned towards Lady Kaeda, "May I speak with you about something?"

The elderly woman nodded her head and motioned for the demon slayer to follow her. They walked outside towards the back of the hut. "Help an old woman pick through the garden." Sango nodded and the two of them began picking various herbs.

"Something is wrong with Kagome," Sango spoke just loud enough for the old woman to hear her, "I have reason to suspect that Naraku is somehow behind this."

Kaeda stopped what she was doing and looked at the demon slayer, "Kagome is Kagome child. If she was not, ye would already be long gone."

"Perhaps he is just waiting for the right moment to attack?" Sango suggested. She didn't like the fact that she suspected that Kagome was actually Naraku in disguise.

"If there were so, then the monk would have returned with Kagome," Kaeda motioned to the monk that appeared in her line of vision.

Miroku strolled beside Kagome as she was lost in thought. If he didn't know any better he'd say that she was actually nervous. Her odd behaviour had puzzled the monk, but he brushed it off as a woman from the future thing.

Miroku peered down the depths of the well. The magic of the well never ceased to amaze him. Everytime Kagome jumped down the well and disappeared, he always found himself awed at the sight.

Armin, on the other hand, was confused. There were no other buildings in the area, only a wooden well. "Where the hell does she live?" the soldier scanned the area, looking for, well, anything.

"Well, Lady Kagome. I believe we will be seeing you in a few days if Inuyasha doesn't come get you first," Miroku spoke. The monk was gazing down the well. Armin approached him and looked down as well. He tried not to let the confusion show, but the laugh that Miroku let out said he did a poor job.

"W-what's so funny?"

"It just seems like you're confused is all," Miroku patted him on the head, "Are you sure you didn't hit your head in the middle of the night or something?"

"Of course not!" Armin scoffed, though he wasn't entirely sure. "Maybe, I'm supposed to jump down the well?" The worst thing that could happen was that he'd break a leg landing at the bottom of the well, "What the hell, right?" Armin swung his leg over the rim of the well and took a deep breath. He spared the monk one last look as he leaned forward and allowed himself to fall.

He closed his eyes and waited for the impact, only it never came. Instead he felt warmth surround his entire body. He felt as if he was floating before his feet lightly touched the bottom of the well. When he opened his eyes, he expected to see the blue sky, except there was a roof over his head instead of clouds. In front of him was a rope ladder.

He climbed the ladder and out of the well. He went up the steps and approached the door and opened it. He was assaulted with the pollution in the air, nothing like the clean air of where he had previously been or home.

"Is this where Kagome lives?" He wondered aloud as he stepped onto the pavement. He looked around the area with amazement before his eyes fell onto a small house. His feet carried him all the way to the front door where he slid it open and stepped inside. Shoes were lined off to the side. Armin removed the brown shoes and wondered further into the house.

"Kagome?" a woman's voice called out from down the hallway,"Is that you?"

From off to the side, middle aged woman poked her head around the corner. She smiled upon seeing him. "Welcome home dear!" she greeted him with a smile that he couldn't help but return.

"I-Im back,"

Armin had no idea that he traveled through time and into the future.
