Sorry for the wait friends but here's the next chapter. Let's do this.

Itachi leaned back against the tree near the edge of Beacon's cliff, laying back in his arms Weiss wore a wide smile. Fireworks shot high into the air over the ocean, she curled up closer. "She gave us her blessing." She said quietly.

"She glared at me and said to watch my back." Itachi responded with a chuckle.

"That's just her way of accepting you." She said watching as another round of fireworks exploded up into the air. "Now all that's left is to convince my father." She snorted.

"If you want I could always brain wash him into loving me." Itachi joked.

"You can't do that." Weiss said raising an eyebrow.

"Can't I? Maybe that's what I did to you." He said seriously meeting her gaze.

The pair stared at each other for several seconds before Weiss laughed and slapped his arm earning a laugh from him as well. Lowering his head a bit Weiss craned her neck until her lips met his. The light show in the sky was completely forgotten as the pair held each other tightly. When they finally broke off the kiss Weiss smiled again. "I never did see myself in a position like this, I always expected to be married off to some executive's son some day. I very much prefer this."

"I'm happy you approve." He told her before kissing her once more as the sky lit up with a massive wave of explosions signalling the finale.

"You are beautiful." He spoke in a deep voice with a glint in his eye. "Truly gorgeous really."

"Would you stop that, you're creeping the hell out of me." Hidan shouted at Kakuzu who was staring at a scroll with his bank account pulled up.

"Shut up, with our new partnership I've already begun investing in over seas black market groups." Kakuzu growled returning his scroll to his pocket before leaning back in the reclining chair in his and Hidan's apartment. "It's only been a week and my shares are already growing exponentially." The greedy ninja explained.

"Yeah, I never got my thank you card for that by the way. If I had introduced Neo into the glorious ways of Jashin, you and Roman never would've become buddy buddy like you are now." Hidan said from his spot on the couch. "And therefore you wouldn't be making all that money."

Kakuzu only stared at the cultist for a minute. "What do you want?" He glared at his partner.

Hidan smiled widely. "So I want to upgrade my scythe, what do you know about chainsaws?"

Beacon

Jaune groaned loudly as he opened his eyes slowly, he tried to move but immediately felt a surge of pain shoot from his neck. "Be still child." He heard from nearby, turning he saw Orochimaru standing by the bed he laid in, he was holding a scroll. "Stay calm, the process worked but you need time to rest and recover your strength. I've already alerted your team, they believe you are in the forest with me training. Pyrrha is awake as well though she is still recovering, she wished you luck." The snake sage told the boy.

"It worked?" He asked weakly?

"Yes, though your body is still adjusting to the new power you contain." Orochimaru explained. "Give it time and you will be able to use it, and when you do you will truly be strong." He assured him.

"I will... be strong." Jaune said closing his eyes once again.

"Strong enough to protect all you love, now sleep child."

The Next Day

"WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO THE FIRST MATCH OF THE DOUBLES ROUNDS!" Port shouted over the loudspeakers as the crowd cheered excitedly.

Standing down tunnel leading to the ring stood Kisame and Sasori. They'd originally signed themselves up after deciding that just leaving the entire tournament to Deidara would result in either dead students or a blown up building if not both. That was however before that found out who their opponents for this match would be. "Representing Beacon in this match will be a pair of boys from the team that is exploding in popularity, no pun intended, Sasori Red and Kisame Hoshgaki of team HURI!" The cheers began roaring once more as the two walked across the extended walkway to the ring.

"Are you ready for a fight like this Puppet boy? They won't go down easy." Kisame asked with his usual predatory smile.

"Unlike you, I am completely safe from one of their jutsu. Stay out of my way and I'll try not to kill you." The puppet master responded adjusting the pair of wrapped objects on his back. Kisame laughed loudly at that.

"Now their opponents, a pair of substitutions by team JUKP (Juxtapose) and representing Atlas. Hidan and Kakuzu Taki! These brothers while not actually attending any combat schools, currently work as bounty hunters here in Vale and are responsible for the capture and removal of several dozen dangerous criminals from our beautiful cities streets." Oobleck explained over the speakers earning a round of applause from the crowd.

As they walked Kakuzu looked more than a little annoyed at being call Hidan's brother, Hidan on the other hand was laughing his ass off. "Now as many of you may have noticed both team are wearing almost identical outfits, a black cloak with red clouds. We've received many requests for clarification on this. I've been permitted to reveal that each combatant you've seen wearing these cloaks are survivors of a small village formerly located in the badlands of Vacuo named Akatsuki that was tragically lost to the grimm nearly a decade ago. The surviving children all went on to train to fight the grimm and formed a mercenary band sharing the name with their old home." Port read the explanation Pain had written out after a request from Ozpin and Ironwood.

"Indeed, also Orochimaru Yakushi, who was the eldest survivor of the villages destruction as well as the one to teach the group to utilize their strength and courage against the grimm, has asked that anyone who would like to donate to the Menagerie Combat School Construction Fund to please do so. He hopes that it's construction can prevent further tragedies of a similar nature from happening again." Kisame could've sworn he'd heard Kakuzu mutter something about getting a cut of the donations from that announcement.

In Hidan's hand wasn't his normal three bladed scythe, instead he held the scythe Qrow used, this earned a raised eyebrow from Kisame. "What's with the drunk's weapon?" Kisame asked the cultist.

"My scythe is in the shop for an upgrade. Neither Itachi, Tobi, or Juzo would allow me to break into team RWBY's room to take the caped girls scythe so I had to sneak into the old guys room and take his. Konan was pissed that I woke them up." Hidan lifted his sleeve to reveal the limb had a series of stitches of it.

"Wait a moment." Sasori raised his hand. "Why was Konan sleeping in Qrow's ro-""Begin!"

Before the spy master could even finish his sentence Kakuzu raised his hand causing a spike of ice to explode from the large pool of water that now took up half the arena, the other half was a baron desert landscape. The ice came down in between Kisame and Sasori forcing them to jump apart. In an instant Sasori had attach chakra strings to the puppet wrapped up on his back and pulled them out, their wrappings falling away on their own. The pair of puppet took position in front of him with shields raised from their forearms just in time to stop a punch from Kakuzu's blackened fist. The puppets limbs creaked and groaned from the impact.

"You used that ice to separate me from Kisame leaving him to Hidan. Sense I don't have blood his jutsu won't work on me giving me an extreme advantage in a fight with him, a smart idea to keep the two of us apart." Sasori commented before twitching his fingers, something Kakuzu didn't missed. The mother puppet brought it's sword down where Kakuzu had been standing a moment before, the blade it help managed to sink the tip his wrist as he blocked while retreating. Without missing a beat the father puppet quickly opened fire on the masked ninja as he continued jumping in a zigzag pattern until he reach the edge of the water and created a thick wall of ice to block the bullets following him. "Normally I'd warn you about the poison on my blade, unfortunately there is none this time. You see mothers sword is enhance with lightning dust, that why it so easily cut through your earth style skin hardening jutsu. The problem is that the electricity flowing through the blade creates a great deal of heat that burns away and evaporates any poison I try and coat it with. Still, if it get the job done." Sasori before sending the puppet forward once more.

Nearby

Kisame smiled widely as he brought Samehada down on Hidan who blocked with the haft of the scythe in his hand before lashing out with his foot in an attempt to kick the kiri nin in the chest, the blow made contact causing Kisame to collapse into a puddle of water.

"Shit!" Hidan cursed at the water close while turning around just in time to take a powerful blow to the side of the head, as he slid backwards Kisame made several hand signs before spitting out a fist sized water shark that flew at him at high speeds. "SHIT!" He shouted crossing his arms and blocking the attack which exploded on contact. "Dammit that hurt! I think you cracked the bone you asshat!" Hidan shouted standing back to his feet several yards away from where he'd been hit.

"You'll survive." Kisame laughed.

"You're hilarious, let's see just how funny you are when I'm done with you!"

Elsewhere

Pain wiped a bit of sweat from his forehead as he created another small chakra rod, this was always very tiring. He looked down at his project, he was over half done. The door to the classroom reserved for the Akatsuki opened and the familiar sound of heels clacking against the floor could be heard. "Glynda, how can I help you?" He asked not looking away from the contents of one of the six long rectangular crates in the room.

"You've been in here for over ten hours, so I brought you something to eat." She answered setting a tray of food down on a table against the wall. She look into the crate he was standing over and grimaced. "They seem so real, it's almost... off putting."

"Indeed, but it is necessary. With these I could protect all of Vale with ease should I wish it." He said taking a deep breath and finally looking towards the woman. "Thank you for the food Glynda, I will eat it once I finish this one."

"How many more do you have left?" She asked looking at the other five crates.

"Only two after this one, I should finish by this evening. How is the tournament going?" He asked creating another chakra rod before bending over the create.

"Well, those two bounty hunters of your's are currently fighting Mr. Hoshigaki and Mr. Red. Their match started about fifteen minutes ago." She responded.

"Two immortals against a man with monstrous stamina and endurance, and a man who doesn't need to eat, drink, or rest. I would recommend placing a time limit on that fight else it could go on all night." He commented. "That's not a joke either, they could probably go on for days if nobody stops them."

"I'll alert Port and Oobleck to put a half hour limit on it." Glynda said sounding tired as she lean up against the unused desk against the wall.

"Finished." Pain said closing the crate before walking over to the table with the tray of food. Grabbing the bowl of soap from it he took a swig.

"Use a spoon please." Glynda said almost on reflex, her face growing red. "My apologies, I sometimes forget when I'm not talking to a student."

Pain grinned and shook his head. "It's no problem Professor Goodwitch, while I have you here, when is that homework due again?" Pain asked with clear mirth in his voice.

Glynda covered her face with her hand. "Please stop." She said with a groan.

"If I don't, will you give me detention?" He continued stepping closer to her earning another groan.

As he got closer he noted something. "You haven't been sleeping lately." He said placing his hand on the side of her face, he looked at the bags under her eyes. "Being exhausted when the time comes for battle will only cause trouble."

Glynda didn't seem to notice the two's close proximity to one another as she smiled. "I could say the same to you Nagato." She looked to the crates once more. "How about you finish the last two and we'll go to bed." She said, then several seconds later she realized what she'd really said. "NO! I didn't mean we'd go to bed together, I that we'd both go to bed in our own... oh gods I sound like Nora Valkyrie." She buried her tomato red face into the coat of the now laughing Rinnegan user.

I think we should stop there for now, mainly because my battery is dying and I have work tomorrow. Leave me a review and tell me what you all think. Until next time.
