I was stood in front of a very familiar backdrop.
"Callum, Callum, Callum!" a female voice called in a sing-song way, I turned to watch a small girl around Yui's age run towards a figure under a tree, the girl was dressed in a long, flowing, flowery dress. She had short, choppy black hair that framed her delicate features and pale rose quartz eyes.
"Yeah, what do you need. Kasumi" the figure said, I recognized the voice, of course I would, I mean who wouldn't recognize their own voice?
"There is no need to be rude, y'know" she said sternly, pouting with hands on hips, "Anyway, your mum is calling for you."
"Is she now? Finally finished with jerk-face Jaune, huh?" Mini me said in disgust.
"I know it's rude but I have to agree with you, he is a bit of a jerk."
"Anyway, I should get going." Callum said (As I don't go by that name anymore… long story) getting up and heading in the direction that Kasumi had come from.
The scene shifted and I was stood in the living room of my old house, it was a spacious place with bookcases covering a whole wall, two large sofas around a coffee table and a small set of table and chairs for dinner, lunch and what not. So it was spacious to say the least. I noticed that there was a woman, in her early thirties, sat on one of the sofas. Looking at her she had lilac hair that framed her face brining out her turquoise eyes.
I heard the door open and in came mini-me, he came in looked around the room, smiled at the lady and sat down opposite her. "Kasumi said you were looking for me, what do you want? Mother." He asked. My mother looked a little taken back by the tone in which her child spoke to her in. But before she could say anything, the head Butler, a man called Markus, entered the room holding a sheared and bound sword in his gloved hands.
"Milady. Young master" He said, bowing at the two of them, Mother nodded and motioned for him to come over. He walked over, placed the sword on the coffee table before turning around and left the room. Callum looked at the sword in confusion, the sword or rather katana had a dark leather grip, no sought of hand guard instead had black bandages wrapped around the middle of it as well as a white sheath.
"Do you recognize this blade?" she asked, voice wavering slightly. I'm not liking where this is going.
"Um…well…it was in the study right?" the young boy asked innocently.
"Yes, that's right. Did you touch it?" she continued, her tone rising to one of minor anger not that I knew that at whatever age I was during this chat.
"Yes, I did." He responded, naïve to the trouble he was in, though quickly understood from her facial expressions that she was pretty pissed off.
"You. Stupid. Child!" she roared at him, scaring him half to death and I was pretty sure I heard plates shatter like someone dropped them as there was mumbling of apologies.
"M-m-mum?" he stuttered, tears forming in the corners of his eyes as his mother worked herself into a frenzy.
"I was saving that sword so Jaune could have its power bound to him, therefore making him the rightful head of the family and then I could befriend the Queen, so that I'd get loads of money but no! You had to go and fucking ruin it you stupid bastard! I wish I had never given birth to you, you've been nothing but a hindrance and a failure!" with her rant over she seemed to notice the fact that most of the staff had come to see what was going on, only to find their Mistress swearing and abusing her only son, where as the younger version of myself sat there crying his eyes out before getting up grabbing the sword and ran and ran and ran, not looking back once.
Shock was plastered over the faces of the staff, fury on my mother's and an evil smirk on Jaune's as Callum ran past him.
…fairy-tail Guildhall – 23:39…
I woke with a start and in a cold sweat, 'why? Why am I remembering that now?' I was snapped out of my train of thought by, "Ah, so you're awake." A voice said, it was male, fairly high pitched and its words lacked any emotion.
I sat up looking around for the source of the voice until my eyes came to a man sat cross legged on the bar. He was wearing a bleached white robe (like Erza's robes of yuen armor), with jet black, loose trousers as well as sandals. I noticed that most of his appearance was the colour white: hair, skin, clothes, the lot.
"You gonna reply or something?" he asked emotionlessly, I just stared at him for a bit out of confusion.
"who the hell are you?" I asked finally.
"well I'm what you'd call a thought projection." he responded.
"Helpful, what's your name?" I tried.
"name? I don't have one. Also you seem to be enjoying yourself." He said teasingly…probably, I couldn't tell. I looked at him confused and he pointed downwards, doing this I found the sleeping head of Amari, my lap being used as a pillow. How I hadn't noticed her earlier is beyond me.
"Oi Amari get up!" I said somewhat sternly though it did the job, her eye lids fluttered open revealing those mellow Amber eyes of hers. By all accounts, she is a kind natured soul as well as being easy on the eyes.
"Oh, good morning Aeri!" she said happily
"Yes, good morning Amari, sleep well?" I replied.
"Yeah, the pillow you gave me was really comfy." She answered cheerily, blissfully unaware of our current positions.
"Um…yeah…about that, you're currently resting on my lap without a pillow." I said sheepishly, turning away and running my fingers through my fringe.
"Eh?" realization spreading across her features and her form flushed bright crimson.
"OH MY GOD! I'M SO SORRY!" she shouted as I flinched from the sudden outburst, that and she sat bolt upright almost colliding," I probably weigh a lot and…and… "I cut her off with a light chop to the head that was enough to break her out from her rambling without causing harm.
"It's fine Amari. I am technically the oldest of the younger generation of members…well probably not Anast is older I think…anyway being the eldest means that whenever anyone had issues, fights got out of hand or if someone just needed reassurance I would help them even if my own past haunts me because we are a family. So it's fine Amari, I don't mind if you use my lap as a pillow."
"B-but…"
She was cut off again by me placing my hand on her head and smiling at her. "I said it was fine now shush."
"Just kiss already!" a monotone voice called out gaining my attention.
Choosing to ignore him I turn back to Amari and say," Anyway whilst we're here, would you like a drink?"
"Yeah sure, I don't see why not?" she responds, both of us get up and head towards the bar. I get behind the bar and prepare her drink: for her a banana and strawberry smoothie where as for me it's a refreshing watermelon cooler.
As we continued our conversation the doors to the guild slam open and in the doorway stood a girl of around 17 years of age…probably. As she stepped into the hall I could see her more clearly, she had her lengthy black hair in pigtails with a single bang on each side, that came past her chin, framed her pale peach face and light purple eyes.
She was wearing white shorts stopping just above the knees, a short sleeved, light purple top with GEM in blue letters on it, white socks, white and grey sneakers.
"Welcome, what can I do for you?" I asked cheerily even though I was suspicious of what she could possibly need with the guild at midnight.
"I can't believe it, not only am I inside fairy tail but I'm talking to one of their s-class members, Aerion!" she squealed in delight, sticking out her hand obviously wanting me to shake it. Arching an eyebrow at the very endearing fan girl before replicating the handshake which caused her to let out a small squeal of excitement.
"Oi Bells, is the place empty or what?" A ruff voice called out snapping the girl 'Bells' out of her trance like state, "Uh, sorry Gajeel but there are two people in here."
"Gihihihihi that just makes this more fun." The voice replied, before three new figures enter the guildhall, they were Phantom Lord's Unholy Trinity. This group consists of Black steel Gajeel, the iron dragon slayer, Thalia the Reaper, a red hair user of Darkness magic and finally a blonde by the name of Amelia Crowe an adept in Dark ether maker magic, Oh and they are all S-class wizards.
(Amari's perspective)
He was stood facing three of Phantom's strongest and 'bells' has to be strong if someone like Gajeel respects her if only a little, well that's what it seemed like to Amari.
Aerion got into a fighting stance, eyeing up his opponents as they to got into fighting stances. "Iron dragon's club!" Gajeel was the one to start things off with his fist turning into a pole of iron shooting it towards Aerion. "Dark ether javalines!" The blonde one yelled as dark matter like substance gathered in the air before being shot towards their target. "Dark Capriccio!" The red haired Reaper shouted as a beam of green energy with orange spiraling around it as it shot towards him.
Aerion for his part dodged the club, in a flash out golden light and a sheathed katana appeared in his hands, which he used to deflect the 'dark ether' javalines but in doing so took partial damage from the dark capriccio as it skimmed his side.
"My turn!" He said as he held his right hand out to his side, "Hakudoe number 7 Kilemar!" a volley of hellish arrows filled the air around him and with a quick swing of his arm they hurtled forwards. Thalia, in an attempt to protect herself flipped a table to use that as a barrier, Gajeel dodged the attack entirely and Amelia cast a protective shield in front of herself but unfortunately both the table and shield were torn apart like wet tissue.
"Iron dragon roar!" Gajeel bellowed, the attack shredded through Aerion and when it dispersed his shirt was in tatters, bare skin visible beneath the remnants of it. Both Amari and 'Bells' flushed slightly at the sight where as thalia and Amelia stared blankly, "Ah, fuck, well it's useless as a shirt now" He said removing the remains of the shirt.
Amari's eyes were wide and face flushed due to his bare chest being visible revealing his scarred flesh, from where she was sat, she could see three parallel cuts across his back, several of what appeared to be bullet wounds across his shoulders and a few scattered slash marks.
"Hakudoe number 30 - Cero!" He roared as the same hellish green and black energy as earlier formed a orb in front of him before the beam shot towards Gajeel head on.
...Several hours later – Aerion's perspective...
After several hours of straight fighting there was no real winner both sides were laying on the ground. Thalia and Amelia had both fallen unconscious earlier in the fight leaving me and Gajeel, that 'Bells' girl was sat at what remained of the bar talking to Amari about what I have no idea, but they seemed to get along. "Telemunipuli" I mutttered under my breath.
'Gajeel'
'huh?' he replied
'I'm using telepathy, so shut up and listen, you guys should leave now in order to avoid Makarov'
'Right, the unholy Trinity shall leave.'
'What about Bells?
'I leave her in your care.'
'What?!'
'jesus no need to shout, I want you to look after her for me...give her a real family'
'Uh...fine, I'll see if she can join the guild'
'Thanks'
'Just get out of here, Black steel'
'Gihihihihihi'
And with that conversation he and the rest of the unholy Trinity left without a word to any of us, to the confusion and shock of Bells or Ally as Amari calls her.
"Hey why are they leaving? She asked
"Fuck if I know probably don't want to meet Gramps." I said
"Fair enough...wait shouldn't I leave as well then." She said looking away sadly.
"Do you not like you current guild?" Amari asked.
"Well...it's not like I hate them, it's just... I didn't have many friends there. Juvia and Gajeel being the only ones I made friends with." Ally said turning back.
"You could always join fairy-tail." I offered.
"But I was part of the group that attacked you."
"But did you hit me at all?"
"Well...no, I didn't."
"Second question, did you take part in destroying the guild hall."
"No."
"Then I see no problem in you joining." I said trying to get up but failing, "Fuck! Hey could I have a hand up please?"
"Sure Aeri!" Amari answered offering her hand, taking it and standing up. I wobbled towards the bar and began searching for the magic stamp, finding it and saying "Where and what colour?"
"Huh?"
"Guild mark, where and what colour?" I repeated a little calmer than before.
"Um...Er...Purple and above my left wrist." Placing the stamp above her left wrist, removing it to reveal a purple fairy-tail insignia.
"Welcome to Fairy-tail...Er...?"
"Aleena, Aleena Glimmer."She said in a cheerful tone.
"Ah, welcome to the family Aleena."
