"Nishikado-san, I know what I am getting into and I want this."

"Yuuki," his voice is like a caress and she is so drawn in by everything he does, she is so drawn in by him, "You will get hurt when I leave."

"I know, but I want you, Nishikado-san."

She gets up with a start next to him, breathing heavily. She can't remember the events that passed yesterday, just bits and pieces and this is just like ten years ago. Never again, she vows, never again.

..

Will you keep all our love and your mistakes

..

"I love you, Nishikado-san."

"No, you don't. You're in love with the idea of me. I am not a nice man, Yuuki."

That isn't true, she longs to tell him but she is not so sure of it herself.

At times like this, Yuuki tries to seek out her best friend, Tsukushi, but she is so happy in her marriage that Yuuki doesn't feel like ruining her friends' post marriage bliss. There is also the minor detail of Tsukushi getting mad at her because she has warned her against Sojirou. For as long as she can remember, she has loved him. Sojirou Nishikado. And even though he warned her, she slept with him and then they parted ways but again.

..

And what's left I will be free to take.

..

"She really loved you, Nishikado-san."

"I know, thank you, Yuuki."

She promised herself she wouldn't fall in love with him. But she has always been that person who couldn't separate feelings from a relationship. It was supposed to only be sex. She couldn't really be blamed. She was half in love with him. She didn't think she had a chance with him and this was her second chance.

..

And I can't lie if I don't know the truth

..

Sojirou Nishikado only ever loved one woman, Sara. Then Tsukushi's best friend went and fell in love with him. In his family's tea ceremonies, he strongly believed in 'one encounter, one chance' and then he had to go and meet her again. Ten years later. Second chances didn't happen to just about anyone.

..

Just another night, drunk and confused
..

He is drunk when he sees her, quietly drinking in a corner. He doesn't know why he approaches her, but he does and he will later regret it but for now, he is content listening to her laugh, her light brown hair grown out again. He doesn't have many regrets but back when she had cut her hair, he regretted meeting her the most. He can't help but reach out and touch it, soft, just like the rest of her.

When the fog meets the water of your lies

When the fog meets the water of your lies

"Can I get another chance, Lydia?"

She can almost cry, when she turns and see him standing behind her. Never again, she promises herself.

"Yuuki," she replies, mouthing the words to the song, "Maybe not, Nishikado-san, one encounter, one chance."
