Months have passed since I've been resurrected and I can honestly say that my life couldn't be any better. Together we were able to bring peace in the quarter and unite everyone. Of course it's not perfect. There are some good days and some bad days but we are currently on a good streak and I couldn't be any happier. It has taken some getting use to being alive again. I've gotten so accustomed to being invisible and alone that I sometimes still get startled when someone talks to be. A few days after my resurrection I wanted to leave for Italy so I could tell the Cullen's that I am alive but Klaus refused to let me out of his sight so I sent a letter and a couple dozen messages instead. Luckily the Volturi allows cell phone, I received a response back from them a few days, due to the fact that the Cullen's pledged their allegiance to the Volturi, they were unable to come visit me. However, the Cullen's do call me every week.

As I stood on the balcony, watching the city below, I couldn't help but think about just how much my life has changed over the past year. How much better it has gotten since I've left Forks. When I left Forks I never expected to get dragged, once again, into the supernatural world. But then again, once a danger magnet always a danger magnet.

"Enjoying the view, Love?" asked Nik.

I smiled.

"Always am. It's so beautiful."

"Yes, you are."

As I took one last glance at the beautiful city in front of me I turned around to see Klaus kneeling with a small square box in his hand.

"Klaus..."

"Bella, it has been over a 1,000 years since I have been human and yet being with you made me feel human again. When you first met me I was a damaged man who wanted nothing more than to let the darkness in me take over, and most of the time I let it. But when I met you it was like this bright light in my tunnel of darkness. Despite all of the pain and terror I caused throughout my lifetime you looked past it all and stood by me. I never thought that I would find love, I didn't even think I was capable of love, but meeting you showed me that I am. I want to spend the rest of eternity with you by my side. Isabella Marie Swan, will you marry me?"

"Yes, yes, yes!" I shouted.

Klaus then put the diamond ring onto my finger and pulled me into a passionate kiss.

"You may now kiss the bride."

Sliding his arm around my waist, Klaus pulled me into a kiss. A soft, slow kiss. Everything and everyone around seemed to have disappeared, leaving only Klaus and I. It took us so long to finally get to this moment. After I died I lost all hope that we would ever be together again, but here we are. I cheated death, yet again, and now I am happier than ever. Looking back, I never would have thought that this is how my life would turn out. I never pictured myself marrying someone, let alone that someone being the most powerful and dangerous creature on the planet, but then again, that's how life goes. It doesn't always go the way that you planned, it throws you challenges along the way, but those challenges are exactly what makes life worth living.

As the applause dies down Klaus pulls away and places his forehead against mine.

"I love you," I whispered.

"And I you. Always and forever."

YES! I HAVE FINALLY COMPLETED THIS STORY. I deeply apologize to everyone for the long wait. Life kinda took control over my schedule. Anyways I really hope you enjoy this final chapter. Thank you all so much.
