SUMMARY: Spin-off to The Man and The Boss. Follow the relationship of Fergal Devitt aka Finn Balor and Rebecca Quin aka Becky Lynch as they get engaged and share their careers within the WWE.

Chapter 1 – Proposal and Marriage

Fergal Devitt aka Finn Balor smiled as he walked up to his girlfriend's hotel room door. He knocked on the door. He knew he would probably get the rioting act. He was willing to take that risk. He had taken it the week before when he surprised her with a visit then.

Rebecca Quin aka Becky Lynch groaned at the knock on her hotel room door.

"Why must everyone knock on my door?" She asked.

"I'll take care of this," Ashley Sebera (Dana Brooke) said, getting up and walking straight to the door. She looked through the peephole. She smiled. She unlocked the door and opened it.

"Who is it?" Becky yawned, sitting on the edge of the side of her bed.

"It's for you," Ashley said. She moved out of the way and opened the door wide.

Becky looked into the hallway. She smiled when she saw Fergal standing there with his adorable goofy smile. She grinned. "Oh, you are a gem, Fer," Becky said. "Come in."

"Actually, you're the gem, Becks," Fergal walking into the room and over to her.

Becky smiled. She wrapped her arms around him, hugging him. He happily returned the hug. "Surprising me again?"

"Yes, I am," Fergal said. "But I didn't come alone. I gave Leah the idea to surprise Bill. Then Lexi and Pam got the idea to come see you, both Ashleys, and Mercedes. Lexi and Pam are at Mercedes and Ashley F.'s room."

"I'll go say hello," Ashley said. She grabbed the jacket that matched her sweatpants. She quickly grabbed some flip flops from her bag. She put them on. She then grabbed onto her cell phone and room key. "Nice seeing you, Fergal."

"You to, Ashley," Fergal replied.

Ashley smiled as she closed the door behind her.

"Cuddle with me," Becky said.

"Happily," Fergal said.

Becky smiled. She laid down on the bed. Fergal quickly removed his shoes. He then moved onto the bed next to her. He grabbed onto Becky, wrapping his arms around her. "I missed you," He said, kissing her neck.

"I missed you too," Becky replied.

"I have something to tell you that you'll happy to hear."

"And what's that?"

"I'm making my debut on the main roster after Money in the Bank."

"Really?" Becky asked. She tried to turn around to face him. Fergal smiled. He unwrapped his arms around her and she then turned to him without any problems. "Really?" She asked.

"Yes," Fergal replied with a smile.

"Finally!" Becky gave him a quick kiss.

"There is actually another reason why I came to see you."

"And what's that?"

"Well, I came to have a little celebration for me coming over to the main roster. I got Kevin, Rami, my boys of the Bullet Club and a few others wanting to celebrate. My guys have been waiting for me to come over just like you have."

"That sounds fun," Becky said.

"I won't be part of the Bullet Club, though. I know that for sure. I can't say a lot about my storyline."

"You know what your storyline will be?"

"Yes, I do. I'll be in line of the Intercontinental Championship."

"Oh, my Gosh! That's great, Fergal."

"And I'll win it eventually too."

"Even better. My demon is going to be the IC Champion," Becky said. "Kind of a turn on!"

"Oh, yes, you love me a champion, don't you?" Fergal said.

"You're still my NXT Champion even without the belt. Plus, you are the champion of my heart."

"I think that is the best championship I could ever hold: your heart. I'd like to hold it forever."

"Well, it's all yours," Becky said. "It has been for a long time."

Fergal smiled.

"But like was saying earlier you coming the IC champion is a turn on!"

Fergal smirked. "I like where you're going, Becks. But I don't know how soon Ashley will be back. Plus, I didn't plan on one round. Once you unleash demon, it takes a lot more than one time to wear him out."

"Oh, I know," Becky laughed. "But we can just make out, which is just as fun."

"Very true," Fergal said. "Very true."

Becky grinned as he leaned in to kiss her.

Later that day, Fergal went with Becky to the arena for Monday Night Raw in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He had no problems with her leaving him to go to the women's locker room. He had things to do and his friends would happily keep him company.

Fergal had a whole thing planned out for Becky. He was going to propose to her.

He had known since she was fourteen, fifteen years old. He had a wrestling school in Ireland where they were both from. He trained her to be a wrestler. The two then each built the wrestling careers. They both eventually got to WWE and WWE NXT. Fergal had wanted to ask Becky out shortly after she turned eighteen, but he changed his mine. He finally did ask her out in July of 2014 shortly after he was officially signed to the WWE with NXT. Becky said yes.

Now it was nearly two years later and he was asking her to marry him. He had never talked marriage with Becky before. Not even in their two years as a couple. But it suddenly came to him out of the blue and he realized he did want to marry her. He had watched her grow into a beautiful young woman from fourteen, fifteen years old to eighteen and then he watched her mature to what she was in NXT: Becky Lynch.

But he had been with Rebecca Quin as well as Becky Lynch since 2014. He loved both, because they were one and the same: Rebecca Quin.

Just a few hours before Raw, Becky was led from the Women's locker room by Mercedes (Sasha Banks) and Pam (Bayley). Lexi, Leah, Ashley S., and Ashley F. followed. They all took her to the entrance ramp. Becky had no earthly idea what was going on.

Becky ended up walking out onto the ramp and looking toward the ring. She saw a brunch of people standing around it. But she saw Fergal standing inside, smiling his goofy smile. She smiled and walked down the ramp toward him.

Fergal smiled as Becky walked up the steps and onto the apron of the ring. He held ropes for her. She climbed inside.

"What's going on?" She asked. "What's with the camera crew and everyone?"

Fergal smiled and spoke, "Rebecca Quin, I have known you since you were fourteen, fifteen years old wanting to learn to wrestle to become a professional wrestle. Since that first time I started training you, I saw you work hard and get where you wanted to be in this business. You and I both worked hard to get to the WWE. After I got settled into NXT, finally after eight, nine years I asked you out. Now after almost two years together and having known you for half your life since you were fourteen, fifteen, I have decided I want to spend the rest of my years with you. And I hope you will spend the rest of your years with me."

Fergal pulled something from his pocket. He opened it up and got down on one knee. Becky covered her mouth with both hands. She looked like she was about to cry.

"I was thinking we could get married back home in Ireland," Fergal continued. "Our homeland and the place we met. And I was thinking maybe if we had kids, our family could be like Saraya's family, family full of wrestlers…"

Everyone chuckled. Becky did herself.

"…But if we don't have kids that is fine. I just want to spend the rest of my life with you. Finally, I am asking if you will marry me?"

Becky nodded her head. "Yes, my answer is always yes."

Fergal smiled, getting back to his feet. He quickly scooped Becky into his arms, kissing her. They pulled away smiling at each other. Becky held her left hand up. Fergal nodded. He took the ring from its box and then slid it on Becky's ring finger of that hand. She then threw her arms around him, hugging him. Fergal smiled, holding her close.

As the two celebrated their newly engagement, there was a commotion outside the ring. It was Mercedes and Colby. Becky listened to what was going on. Colby was pushing Mercedes away because of his past relationships. Mercedes pleaded to him. Kevin ran up the ramp, pushing Colby back to Mercedes. Mercedes admitted she loved Colby and then he admitted it to.

Becky was leaning on the top rope. She felt a hand on her back. She looked over at Fergal as he wrapped an arm around her. She turned into him. "I knew she was in love!"

Fergal chuckled. "Yes, she is. But let's let them be. And we focus on yourselves."

"Of course," Becky smiled. "You have made this one of the best days of my life. I didn't even know you wanted to get married. We never even talked about it. Ever!"

"With you I did and now we are. I never wanted anyone but you really, Becky. I'm sorry it took me so long to admit it."

"You were worth the wait! I never wanted anyone but you too, Fergal. And I'm happy now," Becky said. She wrapped her arms around her fiancé's neck and kissed him. Fergal wrapped his arms around her and returned the kiss. Becky pulled back after a minute. "And I love the thought of little lass kickers and demons. I love to have a family of wrestlers like Saraya's family. The love was wrestling is was brought us together. I believe it is fitting. I want the Women's Championship first, though!"

"That's okay. I want the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as well," Fergal said. "We'll get them even if we have to beat Mercedes and Colby for them!"

Becky chuckled.

"Maybe we could even take over the WWE together with being the ultimate Irish couple as WWE Women's Champion and WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Maybe becoming King Devitt from Prince Devitt but as Finn Balor and you as my queen."

Becky laughed. "The Queen Lass Kicker has a great ring to it."

"Maybe I should start calling you that in the bedroom," Fergal joked.

Becky playfully hit him.

Fergal and Becky were so happy after that. They both couldn't stop smiling. Fergal was especially happy. The recording for his proposal was edited and shown to him and Becky.

"I love it so much," Becky laughed. "Something to remember forever."

"That's why I recorded it," Fergal said. "We can maybe one day show it to our kids and grandkids. Most definitely our families all the way back home."

"Yes."

"How would you feel about us putting it on WWE's website?" Stephanie McMahon asked.

Fergal and Becky looked at each other. He held his hands out indicating for her decide.

"Why not," Becky said.

Stephanie nodded. "Is an interview with you two talking about having gotten engaged okay as well?"

"Sure."

Fergal nodded his head. "Yes, I want the whole world to know that this woman is mine." He wrapped his arms around his fiancée. Becky smiled.

"Great."

"Might I add something?" Shane McMahon asked stepping up.

Everyone looked at him. "What more can you add?" Becky asked.

"How about a WWE 24 on your history together leading up to when you finally ask her out and then the engagement?" Shane asked.

Fergal and Becky looked at each other. "How would that go?" Fergal asked.

"Interviews with family, friends and others."

"I could come up with a list of plenty of people they can talk to," Becky said. "But I don't know. What do you think?"

Fergal shrugged. He thought about it for a minute. He smiled. "Sure, let's do it."

"Let's do it then," Becky said. "It could be fun actually. Our relationship is like someone liking someone for so many years and then finally asking them out. Or admitting the feelings for them."

"That's how it was exactly with us."

"True."

"Well, we'll get the footage on the website and a quick interview with you both about the engagement and then we'll put into work the details of WWE 24," Shane said. Stephanie nodded her head.

"So good," Becky said.

"Okay, we need to film Fergal and Becky talking about their engagement," Stephanie called.

While that was being prepared Becky asked Fergal about everything that was going on.

"Are we both certain this is what we want? Doing all these interviews and such?" She asked.

"I like the idea of WWE 24. Like you said you have a list of people they can interview. Who is on that by the way?" Fergal asked.

"Kevin, Rami, the Bullet Club, and a lot of others who were with us when our careers expanded. Plus, Mercedes, Ashley F., Lexi, Leah, Pam and a lot more of my girls could be interviewed for it."

Fergal nodded. "Then they can be interviewed."

Becky nodded. "As I think more about it, it would be a lot of fun. Telling the whole story between us to the WWE Universe."

"There you go then," Fergal said. He hugged and kissed her. Becky chuckled.
