A/N: Well, how long has it been since I've done something like this? Also, I apologize if this isn't the next chapter of A New Beginning, but working on Assassins of Fairy Tail will take me some time before I can go back to this (still working on the next chapter btw) and let me tell you, I am excited to do Vol 6 of A New Beginning because I have so many ideas to implement. For now, this is all I can give.

A New Beginning: Preview

"Whoa, what is this thing?! I've never seen anything like it!"

"Are you sure this thing is safe for us to travel?"

Kurome couldn't help but roll her eyes at Wave's and other's first sight of a train and groan. "Have you guys never seen a train before?"

Chelsea just laughed at their first impression. "I sometimes forget they're from a different world."

The next step in their journey

Leone was amazed with how fast the scenery was passing through her window. "Dude, we're going so fast! These trains are awesome!"

"If you think that's awesome, wait until we get something at the food car." Cornelia added.

"There's a food car?!" Just as Leone was excited about this food car, they felt the whole train shake heavily and heard a roar.

"That…doesn't sound good."

Through the window, he saw the Manticore Grimm flying outside the train was worried about them. He turned to his superior. "Uh, sir?"

"Leave it be. The ones on board are more than enough to handle the problem."

A dark truth revealed

"Then what the hell are we even doing if Salem can't be killed!?"

Upon learning the truth about Salem, Taeko realized something more dire. "And to make matters worse, Akame has no knowledge of this. What she's been trying to do, it's all for naught."

Akame pushed the doors open and sitting at the end of the table was Salem. "Welcome, Akame. I've been wanting to talk to you for some time now."

An unexpected reunion

"Are you surprised to see me?"

"I'm surprised it took you this long to catch up."

Qrow grabbed his weapon's handle. "How are you leave the girl alone and you go on your merry way. Or do I have to force you?"

The man just laughed at his threat. "There would be no point in clipping the wings of a weighted bird that lost it's way."

Ruby raised an eyebrow was clearly confused by what he said. "Wait, what?"

"He means there would be no point in beating your worthless loser of an uncle and Huntsman."

Hearts are opened

"You know, I owe everything to Granny when she brought me in. Of course, that meant I had to keep up with the heiress of the Oarburgh Family. Taeko is who drove me to where I am today. I wouldn't have made it this far without her."

Cornelia smiled at Chelsea's story. "I think it's sweet you this kind of relationship with Taeko. I'm actually kinda jealous, really."

Chelsea couldn't help but laugh as that pretty much summarized her relationship with Taeko. "That's a good way to put it. I'm the annoying sister Taeko never asked for."

Problems begin to surface

"I'm sorry, but we can't take in such a big group into our home." Now that she pointed it out, it was kinda obvious that all of them couldn't spend the night at Jaune's sister's house.

Taeko opened the door and saw him sitting in a chair sipping tea calmly. "Welcome. I'm glad you could make it."

"I will accept the housing you provide, but nothing more. I refuse to eat what you order."

Leone heard her scroll ringing and took it out. She saw Cornelia's name on the caller I.D and smiled. She gladly answered it. "Oh, hey Cora! Did you and the others finally make it to Argus?"

"Not quite." Leone eyes widened in shock and fear as she recognized the voice on the other end.

Insert Sword Online Aliciztion Opening 2 as the fifth opening

"Are you really going to risk your life for that filthy mongrel?!"

"Chelsea is in danger and so is Cora and the rest of my team! Quit thinking that I'm going to end up like her!"

Seryu's fist collided with her opponent's clawed gauntlet. She glared angrily at the other Faunus girl. "Not all of us can get a second chance! We can't start over and live a happy life again like you did! For us, this is all we know, and we can't go back!"

Cornelia scream as she was blasted by her enemy's attack and seemed beyond angry at her. "I'll never forgive you for having that name?! What the hell makes you so worthy to have it!? What makes you worthy of being a King!? Why did he choose you!?"

The other blonde stood up and still seemed confused by the other girl's anger. "Why are you so mad about my last name?"

"She doesn't love you anymore! Akame is with me now! She is with us!" She flew over to where Leone was with her shadow blade ready to strike Leone down.

"You…don't know anything about her." Leone lifted her head and gave Merraid a deadly glare. "YOU DON'T KNOW A DAMN THING ABOUT HER!" She threw her right arm forward and the two weapons clashed.

A New Beginning: Vol Five

The Journey to Argus

"I'm arresting all of you for the involvement of stealing Atlesian military property!"

"I'm afraid that won't be necessary, Cordovin."

Leone, Wave, Mine's eyes went wide with shock and surprise when they saw this new person approaching the group. In fact, her appearance dumbfounded them all spectacularly. "Is…Is she supposed to be…?"

She struggled to free herself from her enemy's grip clutching her throat tightly but to no avail. "What the hell is this bitch?! Is she even human?!"

She heard the other woman laugh at her futile attempt to break her grip. "What was that you told me earlier? About how you were the best?"

They Arrive at Atlas

Everyone looked through the window and saw what state Atlas, or rather Mantle was. Chelsea summed it up for all of them. "Welcome to Atlas; the shittiest place in all of Remnant."

"So, this is Atlas Academy, huh?"

"It definitely looks fancy, that's for sure."

"Think we'll meet the others soon?"

Old faces and new introductions

"Salutations!"

Leone laughed happily when saw a familiar face she hadn't seen in a long time. "Holy shit, Penny?! Come here you!" She ran over to Penny and gave her a strong hug.

Penny didn't seem too fazed by the strength of Leone's hugging. "It's nice to see you too."

"Who's she?"

"And more importantly, what's up with her aura?" That wasn't even the strangest thing to Mine. The most bizarre fact was that someone was surviving one of Leone's hugs, let alone not even fazed by it.

"So, you all arrived." The group was greeted with yet another familiar face.

"Thank you all for coming and we finally have the Winter Maiden."

Leone wasn't sure if Ironwood should be talking about the Winter Maiden so casually among a third party. "Uh…you sure you should be talking about with these three?"

"We've already been informed of the Maidens, Salem, and the relic. The ACE Ops included. We also know the truth about Akame Night and, you, Leone Wild. About how you were once assassins."

Ironwood's attention focused on Mine and Wave. "And can you explain who these two people are?"

"These two are people Akame and me know. The girl next to me is Mine and I can depend on her watching my back. She's also a hell of a sniper. Oh, excuse me; a genius sniper."

Obviously, Penny was confused by Leone's words. "I don't understand. Why would you claim another as yours?"

"No, my name is Mine."

"Yes, it's clear that your name is yours."

A vein popped on the side of Mine's forehead. "I'm going to shoot her."

Ironwood turned his attention to Wave. "And you?"

Wave stood at attention with his arms at his sides and his posture straighten out. "Sir, my name is Wave, sir! My previous occupation was being a member of the special police squad known as the Jaegers led by General Esdeath, sir! Before that, I was part of the Imperial Navy, sir!"

Ironwood got a small chuckle out of Wave's introduction "At ease, solider."

A New Upgrade

Chelsea opened one of her fans all the way until the two ends connected at the other end. She threw it at Rienna. She moved her body to the side to avoid the weapon and spread her arms out. The sides of her weapons opened, and blades emerged and lengthened. She ran toward her teammate with her blades glowing red-hot. Rienna swung her left arm upward at Chelsea but she disappeared and then reappeared behind her. She extended her hand and the fan she threw circled around and came back to her. Chelsea caught her weapon and disappeared right before Rienna turned around and spewed fire from the top of her new gauntlet. She stopped and looked up to see Chelsea right above her. The other girl turned her whole body around before swinging one of her fans at Rienna and Rienna raised her right arm to block the attack.

Seryu yelled as she threw a punch at Wave but he blocked it using Grand Chariot. However, the attack was still strong enough to push the soldier back. He was actually quite impressed by their strength. "Whew, those new arms of yours are something else."

Seryu looked down at her new arms and turned them around to their underside. At the bottom of her wrists were the initials "S.K" Inscribed and smiled sweetly at them.

Reunions and Surprises

"Hey! I didn't think we'd see you girls again."

Cornelia and the rest of her team immediately recognized the other students who greeted them. "Hold on, you're…"

"I'm going to make you pay for what you did to my little sister!"

"Little sister?"

"He's my idiot twin brother who unfortunately, is our leader."

"Your twin?"

"We're fraternal twins."

"Ah."

Leone was still having a hard time believing who their leader was and realized something. "You're telling me he was at the Vytal Festival the entire time!?"

An unbelievable reveal

"Akame would never kill innocent people! That's not who she is!"

"Run, now…"

"What?" That was the last word he spoke before his throat was sliced open.

"She would never do something like that!"

The people screamed as Akame mercilessly slashed them apart.

"Robyn!"

"I know you want to believe your friend is innocent, but I have no choice but to label Akame Night as a criminal."

Watts chuckled as he patted the side of Akame's cheek. "It's almost time to play your final part, my dear."

Ironwood heard Watts laugh which he didn't understand why. "What's so funny, Arthur?"

"That you think this little victory of yours actually means something. Before the sun rises, all of Mantle and your precious school will fall to its knees!"

Insert Hyperdimension Neptunia U Opening

Weiss and Mine were flying toward the giant that was wrecking havoc among Mantle via her ice Lancer. The former heiress still couldn't believe the sheer size of it and couldn't believe they were actually headed toward it. "Do you have any idea what that thing is?!"

"Bad news. Very bad news."

Ruby screamed as she tumbled across the street and groaned in pain. Her enemy scoffed at her. "Come on, at least try to fight like your life depends on it."

"Perhaps she needs a bit more…encouragement."

Kurome let out a small as she grinned unnaturally at the monster before her. Her eyes had an almost crazed look in them. "FUCK YOU, NAJENDA! I'M NOT YOUR GODDAMN PUPPET!"

"I killed you once and I will do so again."

"CORA!"

"Come here, pretty boy!"

"I'll teach you the difference of our strength."

"That's not possible. You can't be here; I saw you die!"

"You're right, I did die and I brought some friends with me." She snapped her fingers and two figures landed next to her on each side.

"Tyrian Callows? And…you?!"

"It seems you've overestimated your ability and underestimated your opponent. By now you should realize that it takes more than a simple immunity to win against me!" He slammed Nora headfirst into the ground and a large crater formed around them.

Esdeath gasped in shock when she saw who it was from above. Fear ran rampart through her body as she couldn't believe who it was.

Winter looked up and surprised as well. "How…who is she? Is she the one that did all of this?"

"I hope you two are ready…" They all saw her descend from the air and landed on the ground. "Because we're fighting for our lives now."

They heard her laugh and smiled happily at Esdeath. "So, we meet again. Show me how much you've improved since our last battle!"

"You say you're the best, but you don't seem to realize who you're up against."

He stood up while holding his arm and felt a sense of fear creeping down his spine. He saw his enemy land not too far from and was grinning wickedly at him. "His strength…it's beyond human…"

"You're not fighting against Grimm, or other Huntsmen."

He pointed his weapon at the elderly man but his senses about him made him nervous. More so then he had ever felt before. Almost as if he was afraid. "What is it with this old guy? He's...there's something different about him."

"No, we're much worse than anything you've come across before."

"That should be the last of them." She heard the tapping of footsteps and turned around to where they were coming from. She saw a young woman emerge from the shadows. "Hey, what are you doing here? You need to get out of-" She noticed what her eyes looked like and knew girl was no normal civilian. And she was right when she saw her smile evilly.

"And all of you will die tonight."

…

Leone ran through the darkness while panting. She was close, she could tell. She was almost there. She saw the end and ran through it. "AKAME!" Her shout echoed throughout the room and saw the Akame kneeling at the center.

Leone saw Akame move and stand up. She turned around and Leone gasped in shock at what she saw. Blood was running down from her eyes as if they were tears. "Leone..." Akame gave Leone a smile out of relief but her next words almost made Leone's heart stop. "Please, kill me."

A New Beginning: Vol Six

Atlas Apocalypse

…

They couldn't do anything but look at the large dust crystal fall from the air. If it hit the ground, the whole mine would detonate. However, to their surprise, they saw a giant hand with some scars grab it. They all looked at a large, muscular, barefooted man with a tattered open shirt that revealed more scars scattered across his chest and abs and his pants were in the same state. He lowered his hand and looked at the dust crystal. "I thought things sounded a little noisier than usual today." He then turned his attention at the entire group with his dark yellow eyes. "You lot mind telling me what you're all doing at my workplace?"
