Last time:

It wasn't until they were on the road back to Konoha that Summer explained her situation to the others. "It's blurry to me now but for years and years I was in some sort of limbo battling Creatures of Grimm. I thought I was trapped forever by Salem. When I came to I was merged with Haku and very disoriented. Everything came into focus and I saw the acolyte that possessed Zabuza-sama. We were almost immediately locked in battle and I disengaged realizing I couldn't win. Haku's feelings of loyalty to Zabuza-sama were too strong to let me destroy him even as a Grimm."

Qrow shook his head. "I was worried you were Ruby. She was in battle last I heard."

Summer's eyes widened, "My Ruby is a huntress?"

The red eyed man smiled. "Yeah, Ruby and Yang both. Tai raised them well. They are both amazing girls. Ruby looks just like you and Yang is beautiful as well."

The hooded girl smiled wistfully. "Ruby and Yang….Raven doesn't know how much she missed out with Yang…."

"Raven is here to. She's de-aged like you." said Qrow. "She regrets leaving Yang behind now."

Summer frowned. "She should. I was shocked when she left Yang all alone with Tai."

"Well, consider this a new start." said Qrow. "Raven has changed too."

….

Chapter 37

Fire Country, the Village of Konoha

While Naruto and Qrow were on their mission to Wave Country the two kunoichi of Team 7 and their comrades hadn't been idle. Blake, the almost fully recovered Pyrrha and Hinata went out to shop with some of their friends. Ino and Weiss were planning to get a makeover anyway and Blake decided some new kunoichi gear was in order. The cat eared girl was in a good mood. "I think I'll get a long coat like Anko nee-chan. I could use a decent utility belt for my extra gear as well."

Weiss nodded in approval. "Ino and I have decided to get a battle dress like the one I had in Remnant. It suits our new fighting style better than a battle kimono."

The group descended on a kunoichi clothiers store and quickly started going through the racks for the right sizes. It didn't take Blake long to pick out a new uniform. The feline faunus girl bought a sleeveless black crop top with rectangular and diamond shaped cutouts around the neckline. She also bought new black fitted pants which she added a white utility belt along with her shuriken and kunai holsters. For footwear the amber eyed girl picked black thigh high heeled boots. Lastly Blake added a long white tailcoat with dark gray lining to finish her new style.*①

Weiss and Ino's new outfit was a bit more complex.*② They picked out a short, glittering dress with a color gradation of blue to pale blue at the hem with a white ribbon is wrapped multiple times around their waist. Over the outfit the two added a sheer long-sleeved blue shrug with the circular Yamanaka family crest printed on the back in white. The new look was completed by dark blue wedge heels along with shuriken and kunai holsters.*③

Then Ino and Weiss went to Tenten's weapons shop and picked up the newly completed Myrtenaster, a multi-action rapier made of chakra metal. It carried multiple elemental chakra charges much like the original had dust chambers. Ino and Weiss were both thrilled with the new weapon and quickly started going through their stances and paces to test it out. Weiss smiled at Tenten's workmanship and soon declared, "This Myrtenaster is even better than the original!"

….

Aburame Compound

Aburame Shino was meditating after a morning of practicing with his new Lancers. Initially he and the Queen Lancer that Lady Salem gifted him with were in an antagonistic relationship but once they acclimated to one another Shino found that Lancers worked in perfect harmony with his family's jutsus and other abilities… He thought back to when he was badly injured by the Seer Grimm and when he first met Lady Salem in his dreams….

Flashback….

Shino remembered the horrible pain when his chakra core was shattered by the barbed tentacles of the Seer. It was so bad the insect user honestly wanted to die. He felt his destruction bugs within his body dying en masse as the venom from the Seer caused catastrophic damage. The Aburame heir blacked out from the pain….

….The next thing Shino knew he was floating in a very numb dream state. He had the strange sensation he was in rapid motion when he saw an unusual woman with pale white skin and hair. Her arms and face seemed to be streaked with deep red and purple veins. Her eyes were the most curious though. They were black with glowing red irises. She was clad in a long black robe and reached out towards him. She spoke but the words seemed muted to the insect user. It was like a gelatinous wall was between them. Shino tried desperately to talk to her and reached out his hand….

The liquid wall shattered and the white skinned woman smiled softly. She said, "Ah, can you understand me now young man? I am Lady Salem of Remnant."

Shino blinked and said, "I am Aburame Shino of Konoha My Lady. I fear that I am dying. My insect partners in my body have already died…."

Salem pondered a moment and asked, "You have insects that live within your body?"

"Yes, they live in symbiosis with my body." explained Shino. "It is the way of my clan."

Looking intrigued, Salem said, "How fascinating." She produced a tiny Queen Lancer and said, "Perhaps this little one could help you…."

Flashback End….

….

It had been months since that day and after learning to work with the Queen Lancer Shino found he could communicate with Lady Salem while in deep meditation. The only stipulation she had for helping him was that it was their little secret. That a she strangely knew a lot about Ozpin/Kakashi-sensei….Shino wasn't too thrilled with the idea of hiding things from his parents but Lady Salem literally saved him from death. It seemed like a fair tradeoff to keep one little secret didn't it…?

Magma Country, The Village of Yōgan

Leonardo Lionheart was worried. The people of Yōgan Village weren't exactly keen on the fact that he wasn't actively hunting Ozpin. That wasn't to say they weren't obeying; Leo was simply unpopular. Fortunately Salem approved of the lion faunas' more conservative approach. 'At least I have Lady Salem's support on this matter.' he thought nervously. Leo was studying the bingo book entry on Hatake Kakashi and found himself getting more and more dismayed. 'Hatake 'Copycat' Kakashi: A to S ranked Elite Jonin. He knows a plethora of jutsus and went toe to toe with one of the Seven Swordsman of the Bloody Mist and came out the victor. He has completed dozens of A and S ranked missions. Couple that with Ozpin's knowledge and abilities and you have a truly dangerous threat in an opponent.…' Leo closed the bingo book. 'Gods, I never should have betrayed Oz. I should have contacted him before Beacon fell. He'll never forgive me….'

Deciding that he should turn to more pressing matters; the Yōgan Village leader turned to his roster of ninjas. He had few Jonins to spare and not one of them was 'elite' per se. The idea the villagers had of being a credible threat to Konoha's forces was a tastelessly bad joke in Leo's eyes. 'I understand that the villagers take pride in their ninjas but Konoha is a powerhouse even among the big villages. They crushed Oto Village in Rice Country and a lot of ronin ninjas eagerly flocked to join their forces after seeing just how powerful Konoha has become. We will just have to wait for another opportunity to ambush Ozpin when he is alone.'

Fire Country, the Village of Konoha, Village Front Gates

A few days later….

It was a beautiful day in Konoha when Naruto, Qrow and Summer arrived back from Wave Country. The mission had been a success and Summer was very excited to see her (presumably) new home. When Izumo and Kotetsu welcomed Naruto and Qrow back they weren't sure what to think of Summer Rose aside of the fact she was a cute, petite little thing that carried an unusual weapon on her back. She seemed pretty harmless. Boy, were they ever mistaken…..

The group of three had just crested a hill overlooking the training grounds and saw Team 8 was training. Kiba and Hinata were sparring and Kurenai was supervising as Raven looked on. Summer's silver eyes locked on Raven's form and Raven suddenly felt a killing intent directed at her that she hadn't felt in a long, long time….Raven's face turned pale and her red eyes widened as she saw her old friend (and Team Leader) Summer Rose come over the hill….

"RAVEN BRANWEN, I WILL KILL YOU!" roared Summer as her silver eyes lit up like stars.

….Naruto was a bit dismayed when the very sweet natured Summer suddenly became a ferocious spirit of pure fury hell bent on revenge….

….Qrow just face palmed and said, "I should have seen this coming…."

Raven let out a terrified "Eeeeeek!" and took off running while leaving a trail of dust behind her. "I'm sssooorrryyy!" cried the black haired beauty as Summer screamed after her like a bat out of hell.

Naruto watched as Summer became a white blur and her Steel Swallow whirled about cleaving a trail of destruction second to none. The whole time she was also pelting the screaming Raven with ice senbon needles yelling, "This is for my baby Yang!"

Naruto tapped his foot irritably as he looked at Qrow and asked, "You wouldn't happen to know just what the hell is going on would you Qrow?"

They heard Raven screaming more apologies in the distance and Summer thundered, "….And this is for Tai!"

Qrow looked sheepish and said, "Well; it's a very long and complicated story. Summer and my sister used to be really close…."

"Ow shit!" screeched Raven from a hill over. "Those needles really hurt!"

"And this is for me!" boomed Summer behind the same hill as the two men heard what sounded like something between a chainsaw and a lawnmower.

"Eheheheh…." mumbled Qrow. "The girl's voices carry pretty well out here…." the scythe wielder said lamely. Naruto just rolled his eyes.

"….And this is for my baby Ruby!" added Summer as she hurled another handful of ice senbon.

Raven cried out, "Aaaiiiieee! Wait, wait! I never did anything to Ruby!"

"And this is for general principles!" yelled Summer as she ignored Raven's pleas for mercy (and reason). "….And this is for being a total bitch!" screeched the white clad girl.

By this point Team 8 joined the sweat dropping Naruto and Qrow on the hill looking over Training Ground 53. Hinata was watching as the normally fearless Raven ran screaming like a child across a playground begging for mercy. "Ummm, Naruto-kun….?" she asked.

Naruto just shook his head and shrugged. "I have absolutely no idea Hinata-chan."

Qrow said, "Let them be. Summer needs to get this out of her system. A Mother's wrath and all that…."

Raven came skidding to a halt face down in the dirt as Summer jumped up and down upon the black haired girl's seemingly lifeless carcass repeatedly. A small crater was forming from the multiple impacts. "And this is for….ummm….being mean to your own brother! ….Help me here Qrow! I'm running out of reasons to pummel her for Yang!"

Qrow sweat dropped. "Ummm….Summer, I think you've punished Raven enough. She's looking pretty dead there…."

"….M-m-mercy…." croaked the ice needle filled, bruised, shredded and beaten Raven. "….I'm s-so sorry Summer…."

Summer morphed from a demon of vengeance but into her normal, cute self and said, "Humph! You should be sorry after what you did to Yang, Raven Branwen."

….About that time the Hokage arrived in full combat gear along with Jiraiya and a flock of ANBU ready to stop an invasion. "NOBODY MOVES IN THE NAME OF KONOHA!" thundered Hiruzen with chakra amplifying his voice. JIraiya and the ANBU looked around rapidly for any threats and only heard the peaceful sounds of cicadas chirping. Sarutobi sweat dropped when he saw Naruto and Qrow looking abashed as they stared at the Third Hokage and his army assembled for war. Hiruzen sighed. "Naruto-kun, you wouldn't happen to know about a berserk, white demon terrorizing the outskirts of the village would you…?"

Naruto plastered on a fake smile and said, "Hi Jiji! Um, it's a funny story about that." He quickly motioned over to the white clad Summer.

All of the ANBU promptly face faulted and Jiraiya face palmed at his apprentice. The Third Hokage's sweat drop grew as Summer Rose came up to him and bowed deeply. "I bid you greetings Hokage-sama. Naruto-kun told me all about you! I'm Summer Rose and I'm so pleased to meet you!"

….

Hokage Tower, Third Hokage's Office

Once Raven was taken to the hospital by the ANBU, Hiruzen led Naruto and his group back to his office in the Hokage Tower. After they were all seated the Third Hokage propped his chin up with his arm and said. "I think I've had all the excitement I can handle for one day….I don't suppose you have your written mission report ready do you Naruto-kun? As a team leader it's your responsibility to give a comprehensive report."

The orange loving blonde quickly pulled his written report out and placed it on the Hokage's desk. "Um, that's the mission report but not the aftermath when we got back."

Hiruzen was pleasantly surprised to see his surrogate grandson was on the ball with a concise and precise report. He examined it and said, "Hmmm….looks like you had an eventful mission Naruto-kun." As the aged Hokage looked over the mission report he asked, "So you want to join Konoha Miss Rose?"

Summer nodded. "I would like to join the ranks as a Konoha kunoichi, Hokage-sama."

"Are there any other Konoha citizens you feel compelled to assault aside of Raven Branwen, Miss Rose?" asked Hiruzen with a raised eyebrow. "You did lay up one of my genins in the hospital you know."

The white clad girl blushed in embarrassment and said, "No sir; I assure you that Raven was a special case."

"Good to know." said the Third Hokage. "Considering the way you ripped up the training grounds as well as genin Raven Branwen I'd say you definitely qualify on the combat ability front. We'll look into that a bit later. For right now let's get you the appropriate paperwork for citizenship…."

….

Konoha Hospital

Later; Raven was groaning miserably as the medics finished bandaging her up. "Ugggh. I feel horrible. I don't remember Summer being that tough before when we were kids…."

Qrow came in later and said obnoxiously, "How's my little sister doing Raven-chan? I knew Summer held a grudge but she wiped the floor with you!"

"Come over here and say that brother mine." moaned Raven. "My foot would love to talk to you."

"I'll stay an inch or two out of kicking distance; thanks anyway." replied Qrow. "I just stopped in to talk with the doctors. They say you'll make a full recovery after a few days. I guess Summer's accuracy with those ice senbons is deadly."

The red eyed girl frowned, "Terrific….Summer stomped me flat right in front of Naruto-kun. I was hoping that I could explain my situation with Yang on my own to him…."

The scythe wielder shrugged. "You weren't exactly Mom of the year material."

Raven deflated and said, "I know that. But still….I'd like to have avoided this. What should I do Qrow?"

Qrow sighed. "You probably should just come clean and explain everything instead of running away this time."

"I guess you're right." replied the black haired girl.

….

Down the hall was one Hatake Kakashi who was getting his hand checked over by Senju Tsunade. "The bandages are off for good this time Kakashi." said the busty blonde medic as she checked each of his fingers and thumb individually with green healing chakra. "You're going to need to exercise this hand to get it back into shape but all things considered you've made a remarkable recovery from such a bad burn."

Kakashi gave a double eye smile and said "Thank you Tsunade-sama. I can't wait to return to leading my team." He flexed his fingers gingerly and said, "It feels like I have a full range of motion again."

Tsunade moved each finger to check for flexibility and motion before she said, "Exercise that hand and come back in a week. As long as you don't strain it I see no reason you can't return to full duty at that point. Consider yourself in the reserves until then."

….

The silver haired sensei was soon looking for his team. 'Let's see….Naruto is active, Blake-chan is active as of yesterday and Pyrrha-chan and I are inactive reserves as of today. I believe some light practice is in order to get everyone back in the swing of things. Now I just need to find the kids….' Kakashi grinned. "Knowing Naruto he probably has lured the girls over to his apartment for some fun (giggle, giggle).

….

Naruto's Apartment

The orange loving ninja was treating his three girlfriends to a small takeout feast from Yakiniku Q at his apartment to celebrate Blake being fully recovered and Pyrrha being on the verge of it. Hinata was very pleased for them as well and brought some dessert. "I just came from the hospital." said the byakugan princess. "Raven isn't my best friend or anything but I did get her some get well flowers. She was beat up badly but should be fully recovered within a week or so. She was put in a semi paralyzed state with senbon needles."

Blake knew that Raven was Yang's Mother who abandoned her thanks to Weiss. She really didn't know whether to feel sorry for Raven or not….

Pyrrha also knew but didn't feel as vindictive since she was sort of friends with Raven. "So what happened to Raven?" asked the radiant redhead. "This is news to me."

Naruto cringed. "Qrow and I brought back a huntress on our mission named Summer Rose. She seems like a very kind person and is old friends with Qrow. It turns out Summer has a grudge against Raven a mile wide though and really put Raven through the meat grinder. Hinata-chan was there to see it. It wasn't pretty."

The feline faunus girl's ears raised in surprise. "Summer Rose…? That's Ruby's Mom that raised her and Yang! After what Raven did to Yang it's no wonder she was so angry!" Naruto was confused and Blake soon explained the complex relationship that Team RWBY had with Yang and Ruby's parents back in Remnant. "….And that's it in a nutshell." concluded the cat eared kunoichi.

"Man, what a headache." said Naruto. "I need some pain medicine and I'm not even involved."

The redhead said, "Raven has grown very close to Ino-chan so I don't think she's a bad person per se. We ought to hear her out before we pass judgment guys."

Hinata smiled softly. 'Always the peacemaker, eh Pyrrha-chan?' "I guess we'll have to talk to Raven to get the full story. It sounds like Ino is her friend but Weiss isn't. That has to be awkward for the two of them sharing the same body and all."

"No kidding." agreed Blake somberly.

That's when they all heard a knock on the door and Naruto answered it. It was Kakashi. "Kakashi-sensei; come on in!" said the blonde brightly. "Come see Blake-chan's new combat outfit. She looks amazing!"

Blake blushed prettily at Naruto's praise and said to Kakashi, "I needed a change of pace."

Kakashi gave a double eye smile and said. "No doubt your 'big sister' Anko will love the coat."

"There is plenty of food sensei; please join us." said Pyrrha politely.

The silver haired Jonin was soon eating with the genins and discussing their training. "So we'll slide back into a training schedule gently. I see no reason Naruto-kun and Blake-chan can't go back to full contact sparring. Pyrrha-chan and I have to hold back a bit though." The genins of Team 7 nodded in agreement with the plan.

Hinata sipped her drink and said, "Perhaps Team 8 could join you and mix it up a bit. Without Raven we a short a person. I'll ask Kurenai-sensei what she thinks."

….

The group was soon discussing Summer Rose with Kakashi's input. "Summer Rose was the leader of Team STRQ and is much like her daughter Ruby in a lot of respects. She's a very skilled huntress as well. Summer is a very kind and likes to work together with others. She would be an excellent addition to the Konoha forces. I just hope the she and Raven have settled their differences…."

….

Training Ground 52

The next morning Teams 7 and 8 converged on Training Ground 52 and went to work. Naruto had a pile of scrolls provided by Jiraiya to help fill out his repertoire of Wind Release jutsus. He also was working on focusing his Typhoon Release into smaller areas. His next goal was to split a waterfall. The blonde ninja had his shadow clones working on sharpening his wind release in general to do so.

The other genins were working on their own jutsus as well. Blake was learning some new genjutsu techniques under the supervision of Kurenai. Kiba was working on collaboration techniques with Akamaru and Hinata was practicing higher level fire jutsus that Kakashi knew.

Soon the two teams were doing some full contact sparring (minus Pyrrha and Kakashi). It was upon the sight of the group tearing up the training grounds that Gai's Team 9 came upon.

"It appears that our comrades are having a youthful spar!" said Lee excitedly. "Let us join them!"

Tenten smiled at Lee's enthusiasm and said. "It looks like they are having fun. Why not?"

Gai placed his hand on Neji's shoulder and said, "Neji-kun; now that you are fully well this would be a good opportunity to make amends with young Naruto-kun. Perhaps the two of you can start a youthful rivalry on good terms now."

Neji nodded. "I need to apologize to Hinata-sama as well. I haven't been a good cousin to her."

Gai gave a thumbs up and said, "An excellent idea my disciple! I need to speak to my eternal rival and see how his recovery is coming as well. Let's see how they are doing."

"Look who just joined the party." said Kiba with a grin. "It's Team 9."

Kurenai motioned for the spar to stop and said, "Gai, did you come to join us?"

Gai nodded eagerly. "I could not resist the opportunity to stoke the Flames of Youth of our genins when I saw your youthful group spar going on."

Neji came up to Naruto and sighed. "It seems I owe you an apology for my previous behavior Uzumaki. I was blinded by my own belief in fate and I hope we can be friends from now on."

Naruto was taken aback at first but smiled softly and shook hands with Neji. "I'm glad you feel that way Neji. I accept your apology. I'd like to be friends too."

The group all smiled that the two genins had made peace.

Then the Hyuga Branch House prodigy went over to Hinata and said, "Hinata-sama, I have been a terrible cousin to you in the past and I hope to make amends with you somehow. I was so very wrong in the way I treated you and-"

Hinata gently hugged her cousin and said, "Let us begin anew Neji nii-san. I forgive you."

Neji honestly didn't know what to say but shyly returned Hinata's hug. He sniffled feeling overcome with emotion. "Thank you Hinata-sama…."

….

Swamp Country, the Capital of Numachi*④

The Daimyo Chichiatsu of Swamp Country was awaiting Mitarashi Anko's Team 15 to escort him over the neighboring Demon Country to see the young Priestess Shion for guidance. Anko had acted as Chichiatsu's bodyguard in the past and the Daimyo requested her specifically for this duty….

….

Team 15 was comprised of Ilia Amitola and the Malachite twins, Miltia and Melanie. Anko had been working her team hard and was confident that this C ranked escort mission was well within their capabilities. It was the first time Team 15 had gone abroad however so the girls were excited. As they entered Swamp Country Anko reiterated the wildlife was of an unfriendly persuasion in the area. "Remember there are some fun loving critters in these parts. Venomous snakes and hungry alligators prowl around this area so don't get eaten….On the flip side; alligators and snakes taste great cooked up so we may have some on the road." added the eccentric Jonin. The three genins sweat dropped.

The group soon found the main trail to Numachi and fanned out a bit. Anko was explaining a bit about their client. "Chichiatsu-sama is pretty laid back as far as Daimyos go but always address him as Daimyo-sama regardless unless he says otherwise. Aside of that he and his entourage be on foot since the trails are too muddy for carriages this time of year in Swamp Country. It's just too rainy right now."

"Why would he travel in the rainy season Anko-sensei?" asked Ilia.

Anko shrugged. "I have no idea other than some matter is really pressing. It's not our concern anyway. Daimyo-sama normally doesn't travel in the rainy season but that's where we come in. Bandits take advantage in the rain." They turned the corner on the trail and soon found themselves at Numachi. It was a relatively small village for a capital but it did have a large palace befitting a Daimyo. The team cleaned up to appear before the Daimyo and was soon in the simple but nicely furnished throne room. Anko motioned her team to kneel before the Daimyo and his son the Prince who was standing at his side.

"Daimyo-sama, Jonin Mitarashi Anko and Team 15 reporting from escort duty." said Anko studiously.

The Daimyo was a square jawed man with a black goatee that obviously was very physically fit. His son looked like a younger, beardless version of his Father. "Welcome back to Numachi Anko-san. It is good to see you again." said Chichiatsu. "Allow me to present my son and heir Prince Akio. He will be joining us on this trip. I take it these three young kunoichi are your disciples?"

Anko nodded and replied, "It is good to see you in good health Daimyo-sama and a pleasure to meet you Prince Akio. These are my loyal students. This is Ilia, Melanie and Miltia and they will protect you with their lives."

Chichiatsu clapped once and said, "Wonderful. It is a pleasure to meet you ladies. Tonight we will dine together and set out in the morning. You may rise."

….

Soon Chichiatsu was listening to his son Akio who was drooling at Anko and her three genins. Akio smiled lecherously and said, "I'd love to invite those four to my bedchambers for the night. What beauties; such fine figures and perfect faces."

The Daimyo said seriously, "Akio, kunoichis are radiant but poisonous flowers. Never forget they are assassins first and foremost. Have no doubt any one of them could slip by your honor guards and kill you in an instant." Akio blanched and the Daimyo added, "You will treat them with the greatest of respect no matter how gorgeous they may be. Their beauty is a weapon as well."

Akio nodded with a frightened look on his face and said, "Yes Father."

….

Team 15 was soon having dinner with the Daimyo and his son. A hornet was buzzing about and irritating the Prince. "Infernal insect!" he growled as he swiped about fruitlessly.

Anko asked, "Daimyo-sama; if I may…?"

Chichiatsu smiled and nodded. "Please do Anko-san."

In the blink of an eye the hornet was pierced by a senbon needle which shocked Akio to no end. Anko retrieved her senbon via a chakra string and she said, "It is done Daimyo-sama."

Akio gulped and Chichiatsu said, "Thank you Anko-san. That insect was most annoying." He turned to the members of Team 15 and said, "Follow Anko-san's example and I have no doubt you will become splendid kunoichi is the future."

….

The next morning Daimyo Chichiatsu and his small entourage set out for Demon Country with Team 15 in a loose diamond formation around the group. Ilia was in the leader position with Anko in the rear. The twins were on either side. "All preparations are complete Daimyo-sama. We are ready to move out." said Ilia. Seeing the Daimyo nod, the group set out for Demon Country….

Fire Country, the Village of Konoha, Hokage Tower

Summer Rose was being evaluated for her kunoichi application. Hatake Kakashi, Qrow Branwen and surprisingly Raven Branwen all vouched for her in written statements as did Uzumaki Naruto who very much remembered Yuki Haku's ice release abilities that Summer inherited. After a brief mindwalk by a member of the Yamanaka Clan (ANBU Hawk) she was cleared and The Third Hokage granted her genin status.

Hiruzen said, "Rose-san, for the time being I want you to practice with Qrow Branwen as you already know each other well and your rank doesn't reflect your skill level. I also want you to coordinate with Team 7 as they have skilled members that are also from Remnant. You may be attached to Kakashi's team as an auxiliary member so you can start earning mission pay. Obviously you will be very suited for Grimm hunting missions which they specialize in."

Summer smiled happily and hung her forehead protector around her neck as Hinata did. "Thank you for this opportunity Hokage-sama. I will be sure to justify your faith in me."

The aged Hokage said, "I have little doubt of that but do avoid fighting with your comrades. Your actions against Raven Branwen left a bad impression on many."

Smiling embarrassedly, Summer said sweating, "Eheheh….W-well that matter has been settled. I assure you it will not happen again."

Sarutobi nodded. "That is good to hear. A repeat of that fiasco would land you in jail."

Qrow was waiting outside the Hokage Tower when Summer came out with her new forehead protector strapped on. "I see you passed." he said with a grin. "Not that I had any doubts."

The white clad girl replied, "I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be allowed in after I punished Raven. I guess that all worked out though."

The scythe wielder nodded. "We should probably go visit my sister in the hospital and bury the hatchet. The last thing I want to see is animosity between you two."

Summer sighed. "I guess your right Qrow. Raven and I were close once. It would be nice to be that way again."

"That's the spirit." said Qrow.

Training Ground 52

"Fūton Rasengan!" said Naruto as he rammed his newly invented jutsu into a boulder that demolished the huge mass of rock in an instant. "What do you think Jiraiya-sensei?" the blonde asked the Toad Sanin.

Jiraiya was thoroughly impressed with his apprentice's creation. "So you combined your wind release with the rasengan. Excellent Naruto!"

Naruto smiled feeling pleased but said, "I want to create a ranged version that I can throw but I have yet to figure it out. I think this jutsu is a step in the right direction though."

The Toad Sage sweat dropped. 'He creates a revolutionary technique and wants to make a better one.' "Keep at it Naruto; I'm sure the answer will come to you. Now let's see you cut that waterfall."

The orange loving blonde nodded and led his teacher down to the waterfall where he and his clones had been practicing in their spare time. Naruto focused his wind nature along his arm into a razor sharp blade and after building up the power he split the waterfall perfectly.

Jiraiya whistled. "That's the way Naruto! See how long you can maintain it."

The blonde held the waterfall back for about two minutes before his concentration broke down. "Phew!" he exhaled. "That's the longest I've held it."

Patting Naruto's back; the white haired sage said, "That's beyond impressive Naruto. Well done!"

"Thanks Jiraiya-sensei!" said the huffing and puffing blonde.

The Toad Sage smiled. "I think that's enough for one evening Naruto. Let's go get you some dinner at the Akimichi Barbeque."

"I'm all for that sensei." said Naruto. "I'm starving!"

Jiraiya laughed and treated his apprentice to a big meal. 'Naruto, you are going to take the nations by force.'

Well, Summer is officially in Konoha in spite of a little indiscretion on her part. I pretty much based her character on Ruby minus the love of weapons but I did want to give her a bit more temper. We'll see how she evolves. Team 15 has started their own little adventure and we'll see more of that next chapter. It seems that some interesting plot twists are going on in RWBY. I don't know how much it will affect Tornado of Souls but in a worst case scenario I can use the cop-out that this is an AU. See you next time. Blue out. 11/16/18
