A/N: Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of Ruby Come Back! After taking a long hiatus I have finally returned to continue this wonderful story. Stay tuned cuz things are certainly going to heat up~ Enjoy and read on!

Mercury made his move as he projected himself through the air feet first. He aimed towards where Yang and Ruby had been standing but was met with only air. In an instance Ruby and pushed her and Yang out of his way by means of speed and semblance. The grey haired boy sighed softly and turned to look the team over. "Heh not bad…but not good enough either." He taunted while taking a few steps towards the team. Unfortunately for team RWBY no one had any of their weapons seeing as it was night and students should already be in bed. The four girls readied themselves however with the intention of protecting Ruby at all costs.

"Is that all that you got? Yang asked while taking a few steps towards Mercury, now only a few mere inches away from his face. Her eyes flickered red and her tone was rough and cold. Yang: I can't let them take Ruby…I need to protect her at all costs..

Weiss and Blake also approached slowly as to stand on each side of Ruby protectively. The leader looked between everyone trying to figure out a plan. Ruby: Do we run away or face them? Ahhh what should I do? This is bad… A few yards away Emerald stood there with a look of concentration and her brow furrowed. It was as if she was up to something unknown to team RWBY. Mercury smirked at the four girls as he was aware of what was going to happen.

"Nope! We've got more in store for you blondie." And as he reassured this it seemed as if numerous amounts of Grimm had appeared out of almost nowhere circling in on everyone. Beowolves, Ursa Majors, King Taijitus, and all the like slowly crept their way closer.

"Everyone lets run!" Weiss exclaimed while she looked around for some sort of exit, any way out of this situation. When she looked over to Ruby and Blake the only one standing there was the faunus girl. "Wait where`s Ruby?!" Weiss: She was standing here just a moment ago where would she have gone?

Meanwhile further into the forest Emerald held Ruby captive, wrists handcuffed and her gun pressed into her back. In the midst of chaos the thief used it in her favor as means of distraction as she had snuck up behind Ruby, grabbing the girl and luring her away from everyone. And once she had the younger girl alone she was able to restrain her successfully. Emerald winced slightly and clutched her head with a free hand. Using her semblance could prove to being very effective however for longer periods of time it left her with a dulling head ache. "Keep walking and do exactly what I say or else I won't hesitate…" Ruby nodded and bit her lip as the green haired girl ushered her at gun point. Ruby: I hope everyone is okay, there were so many Grimm back there. I wonder how they spawned so quickly..

Weiss, Blake, and Yang backed up into each other as the Grimm circled in on them. But as ominously as they appeared in almost an instance all of them were gone and so was Mercury. The girls looked around in surprise not able to believe what just happened. Blake blinked a few times and looked around as her vision was quite excellent in the dark. Nothing. There was nothing. Blake: Was that for real? What was that? Where's Ruby?

Yang looked around as she shook slightly from fear and adrenaline. "What the hell was that?! They took Ruby…those bastards…RUBY?! RUBY?!" The blonde yelled out her sister`s name as she started to sprint off in one direction. Weiss and Blake ran to catch up with Yang while looking and calling out Ruby's name for a bit but to no avail. After about ten minutes of searching the sounds a helicopter chopper overhead stopped them. From the window Ruby could be seen as well as the two members of team CEM and their little get away driver.

After boarding the helicopter Ruby was sat down towards the back while Emerald and Mercury sat right in front of her. She started to try and struggle out of the handcuffs but it was no use. "Why are you guys doing this? What do you want from me? Where are you taking me? Let me go!" Ruby asked question after question but was met with shrugs and silence. So she continued to struggle out of the cuffs unsuccessfully. Mercury took out his scroll and gave his leader a call, letting Cinder know they had captured Ruby and were on their way.

Emerald rolled her eyes and sighed softly before producing a needle and syringe. "It gonna be a long ride and we can`t have you struggling the whole way there." After doing so she positioned the needle carefully before pressing it into Ruby's soft skin, slowly injecting the sedative. She offered a small teasing grin as did Mercury as they watched Ruby fall into a deep drug induced slumber. Ruby could feel her limbs starting to grow heavy and was having a hard time keeping her eyes open. And when she tried to speak no words could be spoken as the drug worked into her system. The last thing she saw was her two kidnappers smiling back at her. Ruby: Why…is this…happening…to me…? Was her last thought before giving into sleep.

It seemed like forever had passed before Ruby could finally open her eyes again. Doing so proved to be a struggle as the sedative had made her very drowsy in return. Groggily she managed to open them and found herself in what looked to be a dark warehouse? When she went to try and move the sound of chains rubbing against each other became evident. And upon further inspection Ruby tried moving and found that her limbs were in restraints as was the rest of her, tied flawlessly to a wooden chair. Ruby tried to move, squirming and struggling but it was useless. Ruby: Where am I? Why am I tied up? What's going on?- But her thoughts were soon interrupted as a figure emerged from the shadows. The sound of heels clicking against the ground echoed off the walls as they grew louder with each step. Those steps belonged to none other than Cinder Fall. As she made her way over Cinder stood in front of Ruby, reaching out to stroke the younger girl's cheek before tilting her chin up to meet her fiery gaze.

"It is so nice for you to finally join me, my darling rose. I`ve been waiting far too long. This will be the day we've waited for…"
