Chapter 6

Gotham City: Wayne Manor

Bruce, Diana, Asta and Silver were the first to arrive at his manor.

Asta and Silver are both impressed by this household; even Silver has the look of a child excited for a trip to Disneyland. The aura of the house itself made Asta felt a bit more at home.

Bruce introduced Alfred, his butler to them and offered them snacks which they gladly accepted.

After that, Bruce shows them the grandfather's clock, which he opens a secret hatch. As they enter the tunnel, they are, most, no; amazed that he creates such a place as a Batcave.

"I'm impressed Mr. Wayne. You do live up to your title." Asta said in her excitement in her voice.

"I do my best." Bruce shrugged at her comment.

"Silver, Asta. Welcome to the Batcave."

Several hours later

After waiting for others to show, a small patch of shadows came both Silver and Asta knew instantly of whose is that shadow anywhere.

"Athair !" She cheerfully called out to Elias as she ran towards him, along with sliver into a group hug. He returns it with giving a hug back.

"Good. You are all right." He gently whispers to them.

As John and Wally had enter the Batcave from the stairs.

"You're late." Was all Bruce had to say?

"Glad to see you too." John replied to Bruce sarcastically.

Wally notices the dinosaur. "Hey, that's dinosaur!"

"And I thought Batman was the detective." Said Alfred.

Asta smirked at the dry humor from the butler. J'onn had spoken, "We were just speculating why Thanagarians are really here."

"Obviously, not to protect us." Said Clark.

"If not to protect us, then why are they here?" Asta questioned them.

"But if the Gordanains aren't anywhere near Earth," Wonder Woman added, "Why do they need to build that force field?"

"If it is a force filed?" Bruce trailed off as he gazed upon the screen.

"Perhaps, we could try to sneak in," Asta said at the League turn to look at her, "But I don't know how high their guards are being alerted."

"So in others, either we risk or not." Elias turned as his senses told him that someone new is here.

"I can tell you what it is."

Hawkgirl revealed herself before her team.

Shayera Hol, formerly known on Earth as Hawkgirl. She is one of the founding members of the Justice League and current member of the Thanagarian military.

"Why should we listen to you?" Asta hands growled to fight her.

Shayera stood before without making a stance to fight.

This will take a long time before the Justice League and Earth to trust this woman ever again. Of course, there is no easier way to accept her.
