The Uzumaki Ghost Chapter 14

I bring the final filler chapter before I continue the Chunin Exams, though this is a short chapter setting up the start of the Chunin Exams. So I apologize if you were expecting a longer chapter.

:Chapter Start:

Uzumaki Library under the manor-night time-two weeks before the Third Chunin Exam

In low lights of the library in the basement of the clan home of the Uzumaki in Konoha. Currently Naruto sits behind a desk filled with open books relating to Fuinjutsu, otherwise known as Seals. Naruto was reading about artefacts relating to Uzumaki Sealing. Though there was one such item that had his attention, Uzumaki Sealing Stamps. An item that is used to mass produce a single seal repeatedly without needing a seal master. Examples being anything from preservative seals for buildings, slave punishing seals and kill switches.

Naruto continued to read this and how to disable such seals. Naruto was in deep thought as Raven stepped out of his shadow and Naruto noticed him and says, "You really need calm down. Just because they swore revenge does not mean that you are in danger."

Raven glared under her hood and says, "Cornelia had me fused into a rock over night while you four spent the night having sex, with me gagged and then Irma states that she and Haylin will each have their vengeance. Irma even going as far as stating what she will do when the two of us are alone. Now tell me to calm down," towards the end of that she was uncharacteristically blushing at the thoughts Irma induced.

Naruto nods before saying, "Okay, then don't find yourself alone with Irma. I am sure that Hinata will be willing to help."

Raven absentmindedly nods before asking, "What are you reading?" and steps around the desk to see the books on sealing and says, "Sealing?"

"Yeah, I have an idea I want to try. If it works then a lot of people are going to be angry," Naruto states before admitting, "But would make one really happy," before he selects another book and proceeded to read on Uzumaki methods of Chakra Control and sees different methods increasing chakra control mainly increasing size and mass of objects that are attached, along with increasing the difficulty of walking on surfaces by reducing the friction of the surfaces. Though there is one set of methods that got Naruto's interest the first being using chakra to move water inside a water balloon until it explodes.

With Hinata, Raven, Will, Taranee, Elyion and a Masked Nawaki-Konoha Hospital-The next Morning

Hinata was having her final medical exam to be considered to return Active Ninja status. Raven was in the room with her due to Hinata stating that Raven was there for Hinata's safety. The Doctor in question was male and did a quick scan where he then started writing on a medical board and says, "Well I am afraid that you may not be returning to active service yet. If you have not recovered enough by your next medical exam," he shakes his head while saying, "Your recovery has not been good. If your health does not improve I would suggest speaking with your Clans' expert on the 'Gentle Fist recovery' to fully recover your health."

Hinata glared at the doctor and says, "I think I will get a different opinion," before she and Raven and proceeded to leave the room. Outside they found Will, Taranee and Elyion sitting and waiting for their friends to step out. Hinata walks quickly past them and they all quickly follow after her, even Nawaki as he was leaning on a wall was quick to follow after her. Once they were outside Hinata had to stop and place her hand on a tree as she struggled to breath, while Will rushes to her and pats her back quickly clearing up Hinata's lungs to breath. Hinata simply says when she could take again, "Thank you. The doctors were stating that I needed to return to the Hyuga compound to get 'Fixed' so I am going to have to find a better doctor to check my condition."

Raven nods before saying, "Well the best I can do is relieve your pain I can't heal your injuries." Hinata nods in understanding as they start walking back to the Uzumaki Compound. Only to step to the side as a recovered Lee and Might Guy came running past on the hands speeding through the village.

Raven was the first to comment, "Well looks like Lee has recovered almost losing his arm and leg," with that they returned to walking away from Hospital while stopping at Ichraku Ramen to get some takeout for Naruto.

Hokage's Office-Lunch time

Sarutobi was smoking his pipe as he stared outside his office through the windows of his office. He was in deep thought after his ANBU lost track of Kabuto, apparently the spy found out his Ninja was following him. Plus with the death of one of the Genin from Sound, all the Sound Ninja in Konoha have vanished on the same night. Sarutobi had planned for the next night to have the ANBU capture the Sound Ninja. Sarutobi was already planning the changes to his original plan to defend the village.

What he knew is that it would happen during the fight between Sasuke and Garra, and that it would be to completely destroy the village on miss placed revenge from his former student.

Sarutobi returned to his desk looking at his most recent attempt to convince the Wind Daimyo, to increase funding for their Hidden Village. A task that has taken him thirty attempts in the last six months stating that he needed to increase funding for the allied village. He had yet to receive a reply for this earlier attempts.

When he finished this attempted letter and says, "ANBU," with that one of his ANBU guards this one wearing a bear mask appeared in front of him kneeling and Sarutobi continues, "Take this to the Wind Daimyo and make sure that he reads this before coming back. Anyone tries to stop you are considered hostile," Bear nods and accepts the letter before vanishing from the office at high speed.

Jiraiya then steps through the window and says to Sarutobi, "Well Sensei, not sure what you wanted me to teach Naruto, surprisingly he is better prepared to fight Negi then a supposed Dead Last should be."

Sarutobi inhaled a deep breath of his pipe before exhaling to say, "After everything that has happened to him during his time in the Academy, after the Chunin Exams I am removing the titles that come with graduating from the Academy. Leave the titles for the battlefield from their enemies, not from Allies giving them a false sense of entitlement."

Jiraiya snorted and says, "Good, took almost dying to a lunatic to gain the shared title of Sanin from dead last. What do you need me to do?"

Sarutobi frowns and says, "After the Chunin Exams I will need you to stay a few weeks as we rebuild the villages defences and then when the village is protected again I need you to find Tsunade to take my place."

Jiraiya's eyes widened before he nods sadly and says, "I suggest you right up the order for Tsunade now then. I will make sure she gets it," Sarutobi nods and hands him one letter to give to Tsunade and Jiraiya says, "What should we do when Orochimaru attacks?"

Sarutobi simply says, "We spring the trap and show that he made a mistake even attempting to destroy Konoha," Jiraiya nods with that as Sarutobi's tone indicated that he would defend the village with his life if he needed too.

With Naruto-Uzumaki Training Grounds-Two hours later

Currently Ghost was fighting Dark Kabuto, mainly defending himself as Kabuto was attacking at high speed. Ghost actually managing to catch up at points to dodge and even going as far as landing a single hit on Kabuto only knocking him back a couple feet until Ghost actually managed to grabbed Kabuto and land a solid punch on the side of Kabuto's helmet.

Dark Kabuto fell back before grabbing his helmeted chin and says, "You focused your chakra everywhere at once. Where did you get that idea?"

"Lee was able to outpace Gaara by having chakra bursting through his limbs and body, making it so that he could outpace Gaara's sand," Ghost states as he helps Kabuto up and says, "Plus with it will help me defend against Neji in the fight," if Dark Kabuto could see Ghost's face he would see a frown of thought. Ghost then goes on to say, "I need you to stay with everyone in the stands," his tone indicated that he knew something was up.

Dark Kabuto simply asks, "You expect trouble?"

Ghost looks at him with a slight turn of his head and says, "I get attacked by a Sanin during the second task. Of course I expect trouble," but he does not go on to what he was thinking of the trouble that could attack the village. Ghost then transforms when his time limit was reached.

Naruto groans and before he could continue his training Jiraiya speaks up, "If you are done training your bloodline. Care to learn something from a Sanin."

Naruto looks up to Jiraiya and asks, "I don't really care about learning how to peep on women."

In response Jiraiya growls and says, "No, I am going to teach you something that should actually give you a chance against that Gaara kid. Now come on, we have two weeks to get you ready to properly use this skill," Jiraiya dropped down and grabbed the back of Naruto's shirt and sped off before Dark Kabuto to could comment on them. Dark Kabuto then went back to the clan home to see Irma in the sun room, using a series of Black boards explaining all the plans she had planned to use on Raven, while she and all her friends 'forced' to watch, only with everyone with a flushed appearance due to the content matter that can be considered crazy with all the different methods that Irma had come up with, Haylin actually taking notes for ideas for herself to use.

Dark Kabuto frowns before leaving quickly and finding Nawaki hiding in the kitchen and simply saying, "Your son's harem is somewhat crazy."

Dark Kabuto frowns before commenting, "Yeah, didn't really know them long before coming to the village. Though I doubt all of them are interested in Naruto," that was when Elyion stepped into the room and the two went silent as Elyion smiles at Nawaki before grabbing a couple bags of chips to enjoy during Irma's lectures. She left quickly before Dark Kabuto says, "Want to join me for some training?"

Nawaki dawned his mask and says, "Sure," and walked back to the training grounds.

With Neji-That night

Neji stands away from a metal training dummy in the basic branch family Gentle Fist stance. Neji activated his Byakugan and sped forward and tapped the point where the human heart would be located and caused the back of the training dummy to explode and Neji to smirk and say, "Fate has deemed me the winner, not even the Dead Last of my year could survive what I have planned."

Lee and Might Guy watched as Neji replaced the armour of the training dummy, the front chest piece had a single hole where he struck the dummy. Lee was the first to comment, "Neji appears to have a most un-youthful plan for Naruto."

Might Guy nods in agreement before saying, "It is the same plan that he used for Hinata. He is assuming that Naruto will not be ready for such an attack."

Lee simply questions, "What do you know that we don't?"

"Just some theories that Hizashi proved to be true," Guy states before saying, "Let's leave Neji to his training and continue with ours before we visit Tenten in the hospital again," with that the two did another set of laps around the village.

With Chain-that moment-half way between the border of Fire Country and Konoha

Chain taps away with his human finger as the cart he sits on slowing wheels it's way to Konoha. Due to several detours they would not arrive until the day of the Chunin Exams. By this point a century had gone by for his Master, making him realise why the Guardians came here, basically ensuring that the destruction of the Multiverse would take an eternity for those not in this dimension.

So every hundred days he will report to his master, his last one was to learn that Raven somehow disconnected his connection to her. Meaning if they had taken longer to get Chain to the Realm Trigon's Gem had gone later, it could have taken an infinite number of centuries to reach this realm. Chain taps his fingers more rapidly as the humans giving him this lift have grown increasingly annoying to the Monster of Chains, until the humans spoke loudly, "Hey, I heard that the saki in Wave is good maybe we should turn around and purchase some cases." Unfortunately that was that humans last words as all the humans in this travelling merchants were straggled and ripped apart by slithering chains that violently destroyed them bodies resulting in bloody piles everywhere. Five minutes later Chain was walking away and collecting the maps and everything before travelling along the path and accidently heading towards Wave.

With Naruto-A week before the Chunin Exams-Outside the village to the East

After Jiraiya had him sign a scroll called the Toad Contract and him summoning tadpoles and the a Toad named Gamakichi, who he promised to share some candy with him next time he get's summon. Jiraiya had brought them to this area outside the village where Naruto sees a canyon that had both sides of canyon revealing the walls being to be covered in large spikes. Jiraiya was standing behind Naruto as he says, "Well today we are going to get you to summon the boss."

"And how are we going to do that?" Naruto questioned as he looked over and into the canyon before Jiraiya pushed him into the canyon. Naruto shouts back up, "WELL FUCK YOU TOO!"

Jiraiya simply says, "Only way you will access the Fox's power," it would be ten minutes later when a giant orange Toad came flying out the canyon and Jiraiya suddenly being covered in neon pick paint that landed on him as the giant Toad leaped over him and them proceeding to leap across the country side with Naruto sitting cross legged on the Toad's back for a good hour before the Toad vanished letting Naruto return to the village without talking to Jiraiya, and appearing to struggle to move his limbs as he returned to the village. Jiraiya would return to the village only to get beaten up by a tree and a puddle, the puddle being frozen in the process.

As I stated before this was a short Chapter that was mainly set up for the next couple chapters of the Chunin Exams.
