Hello!

It's crazy for me to think about how long it's been since I originally posted it, over two years! I remember originally coming up with this idea and getting the writing bug to pursue it, this was a lot of fun!

I wanted to write this little update however because I wanted to say a small farewell. I've been away from writing this story for over a year, and away from for around ten months now and I've found that this story no longer has plots planned. I've forgotten where I was going with this, and I don't have the inspiration to reread and rewrite the full story.

I do want to thank every one of you who reviewed, followed and favorited this story, it means a lot! However I'm officially discontinuing the story, after this, I won't be updating again.

I do have two other OC Death Note stories on the go that I have plans to keep on going, Thicker Than Water, as well as Sun and Moon, so if you'd still like to follow my current writing for Death Note that's where you'll find me!

I will also be keeping active in the fandom art wise elsewhere, and while the story is discontinued I would like to maybe do some doodles of Kara and L so if you want to keep an eye out for that you can find me on DeviantArt or my Tumblr. Both I go by Queen-of-Ice101 on as well!

For all of you who write and create in the fandom I want to give you all the hugs and wish you all luck in your own creative endeavors! My inbox is always open to fandom spazzing and questions!
