Clarke ran toward the door hoping that Titus wouldn't shoot her. She say the door start to open and rushed towards it. She heard Titus shoot again right before she smashed into someone. They landed on the floor and she looked up to see who it was. Lexa.
"Lexa," she said shocked. She saw Lexa grab at her side and followed the movement, she saw blood.
"Heda," Titus screamed. "Heda, are you hurt," he asked as he ran over to her.
"STAY AWAY FROM HER," roared Clarke. She grabbed Lexa's arm and put it around her neck as she hauled Lexa up. She walked slowly over to the bed and set Lexa down.
"Klark, I'm okay. It's just a scratch," Lexa said in a soothing tone.
"No, your not. Your bleeding; I need to check it out. I need to make sure there isn't that much damage," she said as she lifted Lexa's shirt up. "Oh thank god. The bullet just grazed your side. You only need a few stitches," she practically sighed out in relief. She went and got the items required, then proceeded to stitch Lexa up. Once she was done Lexa went to sit up. "Wooooo there, what do you think your doing?"
"Clarke, I have to deal with what just happened."
"No, you have to rest."
"You can't argue with me on this one," she said as she got out of the bed and walked over to where Titus stood frozen to the ground. "Have you been training another Flamekeeper?"
"Sha, Heda," Titus said in an almost whisper.
"Good. You attempted to take Clarke's life and in doing so; almost took mine. With these actions, I can not let you live," She grabbed him and threw him on the floor holding his hands behind his back. "I sentence you to death," with that she hauled him up and left the room. Clarke had untied Murphy and headed after Lexa. They walked to the war room and had Lexa's guards tie up Titus. Lexa then called for all the generals of the twelve clans.
After everyone arrived Lexa said "I brought you hear to bare witness to this. Titus has attempted to kill Wanheda, and in the process has shot me instead. He is sentenced to death," she said. There were whispers all around the room. She turned to Titus. "Do you have anything to say?"
"Heda, I was only trying to do the right thing."
"And doing so has cost you your life." She turned to her guard, who handed her a sword. She looked Titus dead in the eye as she put her sword though his heart; he groaned in pain. She left the room without another word followed by Clarke.
2 Weeks Later
"Do you have to go," Clarke asked.
"Sadly yes I do," Lexa said as she pulled Clarke into her and gave her a kiss on the head. "If you want, you can come with me. Now that everything is getting calmer, we can leave. I'm pretty sure that Chancellor Kane can keep the peace while we get away for a bit. And Luna wouldn't mind. She—"
Clarke kissed her to shut her up. "I would love to. Now that we have dealt with Pike, there is some sort of pease. A get away sounds good to me," Clarke said smiling as she saw Lexa's face lit up with pure happiness.
"I will make all the arrangements from Polis. I will be back tomorrow to pick you up. That way you have today to be with everyone before you leave." Clarke cupped Lexa's cheek and brought her down to kiss her.
