Chapter 17: A Sweet Party

Eileen, a.k.a. Birthday Girl, was starting to worry about the party. The guest were already tired of dancing, and she seen some young guests leaving earlier. She was starting to breathe heavily with her skin slowly becoming green, but she sighs and calms herself down. She won't give in her anger. She scan the site in front of her, wondering when was Wordgirl was coming. Doesn't the hero understand that she needs her help in this party. She wanted people to enjoy it with her friends by her side.

As a gust of breeze pass her by, she turn around to see her hero and friend Wordgirl, her cute pet monkey sidekick Captain Huggyface, the recently new hero Marble, and...

"V-Victoria Best, what are you doing here?" asked the Birthday Girl, for she didn't understand why her rival of party planner was here with the group.

"Hey Eileen, I-I just W-want to say something real quick before you start to get mad," Victoria Best try to explain herself. "I-I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for trying to ruin your birthday party. I-I guess my ego just got a bit too high in the moment, and me stealing one of your guest was not the best thing I have done. So... can you forgive me?"

Wordgirl, Captain Huggyface, and Marble look on for Eileen's reaction, hoping it won't lead to another battle between the heroes and the Birthday Girl. Eileen approaches the blonde girl before she quickly wraps her arms around her. Victoria suddenly was caught off guard. She looks back at the young redhead to see a smile on her face.

"Don't worry. I know how it's like to have a birthday and wanting everyone to come," Eileen clarifies. "Believe me on that, but instead of wanting people to be my friends and wanting them to have a good time, I only care for myself. I didn't really see it until Wordgirl and Marble help me realize what I was doing was wrong. If anything, I want people to really know who I am and today may not be my birthday, but it feels like one with the people that love and care for me and for who I am."

Victoria had no words to respond after that glorious understanding for Eileen's current status as a friend to the heroes. She looks back at the heroes in question, who nods in agreement. In return, Victoria decided to do the best thing she can do right now, she hug Eileen back.

Not long after, Violet came in to see the sweet moment, yet there was a party that was still going on.

"Guys are we going to start the special party painting showing?" she asked.

"Violet! It's good to see you again. And yes, you're now going to get out there and knock them dead," Wordgirl cheered her friend on.

"Yeah Violet, and I'll help you," said Marble as he approach the girl.

"O-Oh okay then Marble. Do you know anything about art?" she asked nervously, almost revealing his identity to Eileen and Victoria Best.

"Well I'm not much of an artist, but I'm a good assist with colors," he commented. "Although, things are going to get messy, so just follow my lead and everything will be fine. Okay?"

"Okay," said Violet with a cheerful smile.

As the two left the scene, Victoria and Eileen let go their hugs and they decide to walk out to find a spot where they won't be seen, so they could watch the art show about to come up. When those two left, it was now Becky and Bob alone. They saw how everything worked out in the end, with Eileen now doesn't care only birthdays anymore, Victoria has now started to realize her selfishness, and Marble prove to be a great hero as he was the one who quickly help solve the issues and made new friends with them, Violet, and themselves.

"The people in the party had their fair share of fun dancing and bonding with one another, but they were already feeling exhausted. Will the party go on?" the narrator announced for dramatic suspense. "Yelp, and it starts with an art show!"

In front of the party goers, there was Violet, who was wearing all white clothing, white shoes, and a white beanie. Everyone glue their eyes onto the girl before Marble jumped in with his metal staff close to him wearing the same white clothing and wearing a white mask. The people watch in amazed seeing the hero with a different look. Eileen and Victoria were in the back, very excited on what this show was going to present.

Greeting everyone, thank you for joining the party! We now know you are a bit low on energy from having so much fun, but worry no more. You can sit back and enjoy the art show!"

Marble throw the staff up in the air, which Wordgirl caught in the air. People were cheering to see the heroes in this art show. The metal staff releases a huge white sheet that appeared behind Marble and Violet. The two then shook hands before each of them reveal a rainbow mix paintball in their hands. They quickly turn around and throw it at the sheet. The paint balls explode with the respected colors staining the background, and the audience was surprised. Next, Marble and Violet then hop on to the sheet on their backs and retreat, showing their trace on the messed up paint. Marble then grab Violet's and they jump upside down to the sheet before they quickly jump back and landed on their feet to see another trace of them holding hands. Then the audience look at the sheets closely to reveal a portray of a boy and a girl dancing within the messy background. It was nice to look at, but it was not done yet. Marble then signal Wordgirl to rotate it, which she did. Out came Huggyface where he appeared wearing a tuxedo and a violet in hand. He starts to play the note on the instrument, which people were very in awe seeing a reenactment of a boy and a girl dancing and moving from the colorful and messy sheet.

Everyone clap their hands, with Scoops taking pictures of it and starting to write little notes in his notebook for the school newspaper. Tobey was much thrilled with, as his only enjoy was watching Wordgirl. Eileen and Victoria also cheered and clap their hands. It was a neat art show and people love it. Marble and Victoria bow down covered in mixture of colorful paints and they laugh to see themselves a mess. They got up and wave their hands, which Max turning around to give thumbs up to Becky. She did the same, knowing this was a successful birthday party, and knowing that Max is a great hero for Fair City to have along with herself and Bob.
