Yesterday was his 21th birthday she was sad she couldn't make it due to all the snow her flight was cancelled, but she promised to make it up to him today. They've been broken up for six months now. Both still single and not really interested in seeing anyone right now. Both are focused on their careers.
"Aye! She's finally here!" Shouted Noah.
Quinn,Sam,Artie,Kurt, and Santana all greeted her with hugs and kisses.
"Ok that's enough she's here to see me remember." Finn joked.
He walked up to her and gave her a tight hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"Hi"
"Hello"
"I missed you."
"I missed you more."
"All is right in the world again."
She giggled.
"Happy belated birthday Finn. Today is all about you, you have my full and undivided attention."
"Wouldn't he like that." Noah said.
Everyone laughed.
"What do you want to do."
"I want to take you out to dinner." Finn said.
"That's sweet but I'm treating you."
"You asked me what I want, and what I want is to take you out for dinner."
"Ok fine." There was no point in arguing with him.
They went out to dinner, saw a movie and then he took her out for ice cream.
"So far you've treated me to everything what am I gonna do for you?"
"You being here is enough for me."
Rachel blushed.
"It's ten o'clock we should head back its late and I still have to get to my hotel."
"I can't believe you booked a hotel room knowing I wouldn't let you stay there."
"Finn don't take it personal."
"I'm not I'm just saying there's a spare bedroom you can stay in. You don't have to waste money on a hotel room."
"Ok fine I'll cancel the room. Give me five minutes." She said as she walked away on her phone.
They drove back to his apartment Rachel settled in her room already changed into cute pj's or what she considers just a plain grey sweater with black boy shorts.
Finn knocked on her door.
"Yes?"
"Do you want to watch another movie?"
"Um, it's getting late I don't think so-"
"Oh ok it's fine, I mean it's only 10:30 pm and you said you'd give me your full and undivided attention. I should at least get a full 24 hours."
"The guilt card,really?"
"Come on please just one movie. I have the popcorn and soda in the room already."
She was still hesitant.
"I have chocolate."
Her faced brightened
"I'm in."
They watched a funny movie then talked for a while. Rachel was on her phone for a good twenty minutes and didn't realize Finn fell asleep.
She just stared at him. She misses him; even though he's here with her she still misses him.
"I miss you." She whispered.
"I miss your smile, your laugh. I miss the way our hands felt together. I miss your touch, I miss your kisses. I miss your big bear hugs. I miss when it was just us. Rachel and Finn. I loved us. I still love us…I love you. "She continued to whisper.
"I love you too." He whispered back.
He turned to face her.
"I thought you were asleep? she asked.
"I wasn't."
"So you heard everything?"
"Yeah I did. I love us too. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about you. You Rachel Berry are the most amazing person I have ever met in my entire life."
She blushed.
"Thank you for making my birthday so special. This is all I needed, just a quite private moment that I will never forget."
"You're welcome birthday boy."
She leaned over and kissed his cheek then got up from his bed. Before she could though Finn grabbed her arm.
"Can I get a proper goodnight kiss?"
She did as he asked.
