Deacon was a Nazi Vampire, right?...so, when happened when he met Captain America?
"Where were you during the 30's? We've talked about your disco years in the 70's and 80's, and how that affected your dancing; but what about that even more influential moment in the larger world, during a time of the world at war?'
Deacon's eyes momentarily gazed at the neck of the cameraman/interviewer, but soon turned his gaze inwards as he considered his life during those decades now so long ago.
"I was a Nazi...Vampire. After the war, which the Nazis lost...I don't know, if you know that the Nazis lost that war? If you were a Nazi, after the war...?"
He widened his eyes and shook his hands, as if to ward off attention...but as he did so, he remembered the long nights waiting for orders that never came while bombs exploded all throughout Germany. The doctors remained, convinced of their moral high ground - the common soldiers were already running. Moral high ground ended up tasting pretty good, before he left...
"And if you were a vampire..."
Running, running - always running. That's what he remembered from Germany at the end; fleeing from one lab to another, from one base to another, the Commandos always one step behind on his heels. By the time they caught up with him in Der Riese - the secret laboratory near the Czech border - he was far too tired and hungry to put up much of a fight. Crosses and cuffs were all that was needed to subdue him. The stupid soldiers had tried to activate one of their doomsday Wunderwaffen, but He caught up with them...That Man with the wonderful smelling blood...ugh. 'At least I managed to escape in the confusion, not like the last time with Him'.
"Deacon?"
"Oh, excuse me - I just wandered into my thoughts a bit too much. Just edit that bit out... Anyway, like I was saying...if you were a vampire, times were harsh. The Americans were all over us, and the British had vampire hunters chasing up and down the country side."
Deacon tensed up, and continued his lecture,
"And if you were a vampire? Pfft...And if you were a Nazi vampire?", he widened his eyes, remembering his fight with That Man.
Snap went his collarbone. Crunch went his pelvis. Rip went his incisors...and not in the good way.
"No way. I was out of there."
