Pairing: Hermione/Alastor Moody.

She was sixteen and full of youth. Old enough to love him, but to young to realise it would be better if she didn't.

He liked her naivety it was refreshing to be with someone not completely turned bitter by the world. Still full of hope and belief in the world could be better than it really was.

He didn't want to shatter that or hurt her in any way, but he no choice.

He had to end it to save her more heartache in the future and he hopes one day when she's older she knows that.
