And now, it's time we wrap up the story! It's been quite a while, but I'm happy to finally get this one done! Let's see where we go from here! Anyway, enjoy!

And so it stood, the current versions of Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda and Jorgen were standing in front of a camera that was to be broadcasted to Fairy World in a couple minutes, with the past versions of Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda and Jorgen sitting in front of a laptop, eagerly awaiting the results of the video of Timmy's life that was just being broadcasted to the world. And in the middle, an annoyed Foop was just dusting himself off as Poof, Sparky and Chloe looked concerned for the two Timmys.

"Here we go!" 2001 Timmy grinned. "All of Fairy World is going to see just how we... we..."

It was at this moment that 2001 Timmy noticed something... odd. His once, cocky smile turned into a shocked frown, his eyes looked terribly confused, and his fairies and the past Jorgen were looking at the video in concern.

"Wh... huh? The other fairies of Fairy World, they're... barely paying attention to the broadcast. They don't care if it's like the old days." 2001 Timmy said in shock.

"Yeah... they... they keep saying I'm more dumber than before..." 2001 Cosmo said in shock.

"And that I'm too... mean." 2001 Jorgen said in confusion.

"And that even if I was sensible, I went about it the wrong way. They barely even noticed we were acting like the old days." 2001 Wanda said in shock.

"Uh doy!" 2016 Timmy rolled his eyes.

"It's really quite obvious if you'd seen us!" 2016 Cosmo said.

"And... the comments, the reviews..." 2001 Timmy pointed out in horror. "None of them were... positive."

"Yeah... they keep saying stuff like 'this should have ended a long time ago', or 'does he STILL have fairies' or 'It should have ended with the baby or the Darkness'." 2001 Cosmo said, pointing to the screen.

"It says here we're... franchise zombies?" 2001 Wanda asked, feeling a bit hurt.

"I don't get it..." 2001 Jorgen said quietly as Foop, Poof, Sparky and Chloe looked at the past characters in concern.

Foop shuffled his hands for a moment before approaching the others. "So, uh, I know you're new to the world, but... uh, there's sort of an unwritten rule that you... never read the reviews."

"Mostly because people react to new things." Poof pointed out as he looked up towards the others.

"Yeah, heaven knows I've gotten a lot of flak since I've been added into Timmy's family life." Sparky said. "That's why I barely appeared up until recently."

"I know it's kind of hard to accept, but these types of negativity just comes with average life." Chloe said, trying her best to comfort the past versions of Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda and Jorgen.

"But why?" 2001 Timmy asked in confusion. "All I wanted to do was bring happiness to everyone, try helping as best as I could thanks to my fairies... no, my family."

2016 Timmy stopped as he looked over to his past self, his eyes looking sympathetic towards him as his past self continued, "The day I got Cosmo and Wanda, it was like the most exciting day of my life. I thought I could prove to everyone that I had a reason to keep Cosmo and Wanda, and to see that Jorgen is strict, but... if even Fairy World doesn't like that... who are we? Why are we here?"

2016 Timmy bit his lip as he watched their past versions looking down in despair. He looked over to 2016 Cosmo, 2016 Wanda and 2016 Jorgen, who were also looking towards their past selfs in sympathy.

It was right then, right there that 2016 Timmy remembered the good times, the reasons why he got his fairies in the first place. How they came to him in a time of need when he was being babysat by Vicky, how they tried to help him impress Trixie Tang, only for them to be taken away, but then given back after admitting the truth, how Timmy managed to warm Jorgen's heart by helping him propose to the Tooth Fairy and getting married, how he helped Tootie in bad times thanks to Cosmo and Wanda, how, despite Mr. Crocker being crazy, he helped the man get a semi-normal life, the very first day of Poof's birth, fighting against the Darkness, having his parents actually meet his fairies for the first time (only for their memories to be wiped), giving Dark Laser and the Crimson Chin a purpose, all the times he helped AJ and Chester through their problems, meeting with Sparky for the first time, and finally, settling in with a few memories of Chloe and her smile as she and him were using Cosmo and Wanda to help out.

He smiled as he looked over to his fairies and Jorgen, who were remembering those times too. 2016 Timmy looked over to the camera floating around... and frowned as he turned it on as he gave a cough.

"Hello everybody of Fairy World. My name is Timmy Turner. The version of the future, and I want to talk to you about the past, the present... and the future." 2016 Timmy started as most everyone was watching. "Once upon a time, when I was nine years old, I didn't have the best life. Sure, my parents were there, but they were mostly too busy, so they left me with a babysitter... a horrible babysitter named Vicky. One day, when she was torturing me, forcing me to do chores, I was really hoping for a light, for something to help me out. That was the day Cosmo and Wanda came out of that 9 Magic Ball and came into my life. And, let me tell you, that was the best day of my life."

2001 Timmy looked up in surprise as 2016 Timmy gave a smile. "That first day was the day I was truly lucky. I mean, I was just an average kid that no one understands. Mom, Dad, Vicky, always giving me commands. And everything in my room was broken instantly, by two magic fish that could grant my every wish. Cosmo and Wanda, my fairy godparents, sent to me by Jorgen Von Strangle, who was probably the most strictist fairy that everybody knew and most times, still is."

2016 Jorgen gave a smirk as he posed a bit as 2016 Timmy continued, "Ever since those days, I grew up with these guys, and I've been through a lot with them in my life... from comedy, to romance, to even making new friends along the way. I learned a lot of lessons along the way through each wish I made, be they good or bad. But... eventually times change and... we aren't who we once were. We all change. Sometimes for the good, sometimes for the worst. But we all change. And a lot of people... well, they don't like change. And they try to shame us for trying out new things, missing the point of what we were, worrying about minor details of our lives."

The past versions of Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda and Jorgen listened in curiosity as 2016 Timmy continued, "But... even if people shame us for our future... they would be shaming us of our past as well. But people shouldn't hold the past on a pedestal. Past, Future, Present... they're all concepts of time. And a lot of people, they change with time. And, sometimes, not a lot of us know what to do in the future or if we can just continue living like we were in the past. It's like TV shows. Sometimes, you have a good idea for an old show, and they obsess over that new detail when they don't need to. Sometimes, that new thing for a show works, and other times... it should have been an idea left on the drawing board."

Somewhere in the world, as if hearing the idea, some random person was looking at an idea for a crossover fanfiction called "Fictional Chronicles", which he just threw aside, knowing it would never be good.

Back with the others, 2016 Timmy continued his speech, "I thought I would be ashamed of my past, like my past self would be ashamed of my future... but being ashamed of each other is just... being ashamed of ourselves, and we shouldn't be able to do that. I know that someday, Cosmo and Wanda will go away forever, and I won't have any memories of all the good times I had with them. In the meantime, I'm just lucky to have them by my side, and no matter what life throws at us, we'll always be together. And Jorgen, he'll always be the toughest fairy I know, but I know he has a bit of a deep heart within. I don't know how long I have until I can say good-bye to Cosmo and Wanda, but I do know this..."

2016 Timmy smiled as he motioned his hand over to 2001 Timmy, who looked rather surprised as he came over. "I watched an old movie some time ago that had this great quote. "Your future hasn't been written yet. No one's has. Your future is whatever you make it, so make it a good one"."

2001 Timmy looked over towards his future self as he took the words into consideration as 2016 Timmy turned towards the camera. "As for me, I learned quite a lot from my past, and that... I shouldn't be ashamed of it. Just... enjoy the past and what it gave you. It can give you a lot of things that you enjoy for a lifetime. So, don't forget what made you you in the first place. If you want to add a new friend, add the new friend. If you want to change the status quo, take the risk. No matter what happens, even if life ends, just remember the good times and the bad times, and eventually, you'll find that the bad times aren't as bad as you make them out to be."

2016 Timmy, seemingly satisfied with his speech, turned off the camera as he looked over towards 2016 Cosmo, 2016 Wanda and 2016 Jorgen as they gave a warm smile towards the boy. 2016 Timmy then turned to his past self, who was giving a small smile. 2016 Timmy then looked towards the past Cosmo, Wanda and Jorgen as they gave determined smiles, and finally, to Poof, Sparky, Chloe and Foop, who were clapping.

Foop immediately noticed he was clapping and put his arms down as he glared at 2016 Timmy. "Just so you know, my hands were cold. It had nothing to do with that heart-felt speech."

2016 Timmy just gave a laugh as he shook his head.

About a few minutes later, outside the gates of Fairy World, the future version of Jorgen appeared in front of everyone waiting at the gate as he gave a nod. "I just got word from the Fairy Council. We're back to the way we were!"

"YAY!" 2016 Cosmo and 2016 Wanda yelled out in excitement as 2016 Timmy gave a sigh of relief.

"Hey, uh... sorry for freaking out over the future earlier. I guess I didn't know what I was getting into." 2001 Timmy said, giving a grin.

"Eh, it's okay. Sorry I freaked out so much about how I thought the past sucked." 2016 Timmy laughed. "I guess we both overreacted."

2001 Timmy chuckled a bit before pausing, "Are you sure you won't be able to lend Chloe for the fut-"

"NO." 2016 Timmy's eyes burned a hole in 2001 Timmy's eyes.

"Okay, okay..." 2001 Timmy chuckled nervously. "No need to be all jealous... or jelly, as Chloe would put it."

"I would totally say it like that." Chloe gave a small grin.

"All I can tell you is..." 2001 Timmy patted his future self on the shoulder. "Treat her good. You never know, she might end up being your special someone."

"What are you going to do?" 2016 Timmy asked in curiosity.

"Oh, I don't know..." 2001 Timmy shrugged. "Maybe there won't even be a Chloe if I make my own path in the future... and if there is... well, I'll happily welcome her in open arms. That is... if I haven't won Trixie Tang's heart by then!"

"Really? She-" 2016 Timmy stopped, before pausing for a moment. He then gave a smile. "I hope you do win Trixie's heart. Between you and me... if you can get Trixie to admit her popular group stinks... maybe there's more of a chance you can get with her."

"I might try that." 2001 Timmy grinned, thinking up some ideas as 2001 Jorgen coughed.

"Hate to interrupt, but the scooter is ready for travel." 2001 Jorgen said as 2001 Timmy nodded, then turned towards 2016 Timmy with a smile.

And thus, Timmy, Chloe, Sparky, Cosmo, Wanda, Poof, Foop and Jorgen watched as they saw their past selves go into the scooter. 2001 Cosmo and 2001 Wanda waved good-bye as 2001 Timmy started the scooter. 2001 Timmy looked back towards 2016 Timmy with a smile as he activated the scooter, taking his past fairies with him as they disappeared back in their own timeline. 2001 Jorgen bowed as he disappeared back to his own time period as well.

And pretty soon, the only people sitting around were the ones that were waving good-bye as Timmy said, "You know, guys... I'm going to miss our past selves."

"Yeah... they weren't all that bad." Cosmo said.

After a moment of silence, Foop disappearing, Timmy gave a small smile as he turned to the others, "So, who wants lunch? I'm buying!"

Everyone looked excited as they started to go off into Fairy World as Jorgen said, "Now just a minute, Turner, you don't have money in Fairy World."

"Okay, then you're buying." Timmy smirked.

"TURNER!" Jorgen said as Chloe couldn't help but ellicit a giggle.

"So, Timmy, would this be considered a date in your eyes?" Chloe said cutely as she used two fingers to walk on Timmy's arm.

"Oh come on, it's a family outing, not a date, there's a big difference!" Timmy said as the others continued onwards.

And as they went deep into Fairy World, Timmy had learned a very important lesson that day, in that no matter what happens in the past, the present or the future, he'd always be lucky to have what he has, even if the world ended right now. And if it restarted up again, with a new thing on the horizon, or recapturing the old days, well, maybe it would be a good thing.

Orange Ratchet Story

"That's All, Folks!"

An Orange-Ratchet Fanfiction

And this story is finally complete! How did you guys like it? Now for my final thoughts!

I started this story back in 2016 when Season 10 was still relatively fresh, and this was originally going to be a transition from my Timmy x Trixie days to my Timmy x Chloe days, and I still adore Timmy x Chloe, but as a guilty pleasure pairing. My main pairing is still Timmy x Trixie. I just can't seem to get away from that, can I? Despite all that, though, it was interesting to do a take on how 2016 Timmy would react to 2001's way of life (the first five seasons) to 2001 Timmy reacting to 2016's way of life (the latter five seasons). I'll just say this... I do like ALL ten seasons of the show, though in my opinion, Season 9 had some bombs. And even though Season 10 with Chloe was repetitive, I still enjoyed the show, even when it went to Flash animation.

Despite that, even though this was a past versus future story, I wanted to end it on my views of the show, and how I see other people viewing the show. I get that the past is the past, but going through the years, you have to change with modern times... and seeing as how we have a pandemic right now, I'd say adjusting to modern times is probably for the good. And yes, I'm aware that some things worked and some things didn't. Still, I tried what I could with this story, and I'm glad I managed to portray the message that I wanted to give here, that you shouldn't be ashamed of the past, nor should you be afraid of the future. Change happens, and you got to understand. And yeah, Doc Brown from Back to the Future III said it best. I already quoted it in the chapter, so I don't need to quote it again, but my point still stands. Still, I hope you all enjoyed this story!

Anyway, thank you all for reading, and have a very wonderful day!
