Hello, friends. I'm sure this is getting old, but don't worry. I promise you all that barring another horrible tragedy, this'll be the last non-chapter up you will find in this story. I was going to just wait until if and when I had chapter, but I thought you all deserved to know.

It's been nearly a month since everything changed for me. Right before it changed for everyone else with the C-Virus. Crazy timing. I'm not positive, but I think my grandma was one of the very last to have a funeral prior to the C-Virus shutting everything down. That hasn't been a problem yet on our end, the virus, so no worries there.

Now, as much as my life has gone through a whirlwind, and still is, I have some good news.

1. I have enough money to keep the house for the month, thanks in part to the generosity of various amazing people contributing to my pat-reon and go fund me. Given that the funeral insurance check is late coming in and my job hunting still turned up empty, this was a life saver. Thanks to all of them, several of you no doubt, I get at least another month to keep the place that hass been my home for over five years. My aunt is living with me to help me keep it, but she's not in much better straits. That said, she covers half the rent, and if the insurance checks come in without issue, we should be able to stretch it out for a couple more months.

2. Despite all my best efforts, I'm still jobless. The current state of the world isn't really helping things either. That said, I'm still trying, but not much else can be said on the matter.

3. As many of you who are fans of my other works might have noticed, I have returned to writing. Somewhere after the stung faded, I found myself...oddly enough, unable to NOT write. It's not just something I love to do, but something I feel naturally doing. It's what I've always done for over a decade, what I've always wanted to do. I needed time to grieve, yes, but I think this was the only way I could recover, feel remotely happy and content again.

4. I have gotten back to Hero of Naboo. It will be...a long time before the next chapter is finished. Honestly, my IRL situation is only half the delay. If it had been any other chapter, before or after, this wouldn't be so hard. But this is probably one of the hardest chapters to make: Vader's official complaint to the Order in a way. Or, more accurately, Anakin Skywalker's. This is something I really don't want to mess up. I knew it would take at least a full month of commitment to write even before all of this. As you can guess, I just mentally can't summon that commitment in full for now. THat said, I got it started, which is the hardest part sometimes, stepping back into that. My greatest hope would to have this done by the end of April, but that is optimism in the highest.

5. A bit of shameless self-advertising, I'm starting an original story on my Pat-reon called Among the Amazons, about a man named Kazimir, a slave in an ancient world dominated by the Amazon. I got the first chapter done and posted- first three chapters can be scene for any of my patron giving a dollar or more a month, with five dollars getting full access. Don't know if any of you'd be interested, but it's my first committed attempt at going original. And my fanfics are basically my own way to self-advertise, so, yeah. How some of you give it a shot one day.

6. Most important for last:

Be Safe.

I've heard all sides of opinions on this virus: some say its not much worse than the flu still, others are treating it like the Walking Dead. All I know is we're about at the million mark globally and we have over five thousand dead in the states. So in the spirit of that, just be safe and be careful. Settle on in and find something to enjoy in the mean time. I'll try to supply some of that as well. After all I have some amazing fans.

I'm not reffering to the ones that helped me keep my home for the month, grateful as I am. I'm talking about all of you, who for reasons beyond my understanding some days, made this fic one of the most beloved Star Wars fanfictions. And for the past year, I have pour more into this fic than I think I have into much else in my life. And you've made it all worthwhile, every spellcheck at a time.

So, once more, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all. Its been a blast so far and hopefully it will be again, someday.

May the Force be with you, Jedis, and serve you as well, Siths.

PS Am I the only one that finds it...just a bit weird that TNT decided to reair the Last Ship from Episode 1 onward during this whole pandemic?
