Level 2 Pairing: Lavender/Ron

Prompt: 962: Do You Like It?

Lavender looked around the room that she was currently standing in and then turned to look at her boyfriend of two years with wide eyes. "Wow, Ron."

Ron smiled as he waved a hand around the room. "Do you like it, love? I wanted to take you somewhere special for our two year anniversary."

Lavender threw herself at Ron and wrapped her arms around his neck before she proceeded to snog him senseless. She only pulled back when it was getting hard to breathe. "Like it, Ron, I love it. You didn't have to do this though. I would have been happy just spending an evening in with you at our place. You didn't have to bring me to Paris or get a hotel room that has one hell of a view outside the window."

Ron shrugged as he pulled a ring box out of his pocket and got down on one knee.. "This is our two year anniversary, Lavender. I wanted to make sure that it was special. I also wanted to make sure that you know how much you mean to me. I know that I haven't always been the best boyfriend but I like to think that in the last year I have changed that completely. I needed tonight to be special because I don't want you to have any doubt just what you mean to me. You're my world, Lavender Brown, and you need to know that. I love you more than my own life. Will you marry me, Lavender? Will you make me the happiest man on this Earth and spend the rest of your life with me?"

Lavender looked down at Ron with happy tears in her eyes and falling down her face. She nodded her head several times even as she whispered "I will marry you. You have made me the happiest woman on this Earth, Ron. I love you and I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together."

Ron slipped the ring on Lavender's finger, kissed it, and then stood up. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her tenderly. "I hadn't meant to ask you right this second because I had everything all planned but I just couldn't wait another moment to propose to you. I promise that I will make you happy, love."

Lavender shook her head. "You already make me happy, dear. I can't believe all this. I love you so much, Ronald Weasley."

Ron grinned. "I love you so much, Lavender Brown soon to be Weasley." He bent his head and kissed her once more just because he couldn't stop himself.
