Roman woke from his sleep the moment his mind registered that he was alone in bed. His eyes shot open to see that the opposite side of the bed was indeed empty. He sat up quickly only to find that Brie hadn't strayed very far from him. She stood by the hotel room window, arms crossed over her chest as she gazed out it contently. It took him a moment to realize that it was snowing.

"Brie?" He broke the silence in the room.

She glanced over to him with a soft smile gracing her features. "That's one thing I don't like about our home. No snow on Christmas." She said, turning away from the window and climbing back into the bed.

About four months ago, Roman had finally convinced Brie to officially move into his home in Pensacola with him. She had always so hesitant to make that final step, for many reasons. It was hard for her to give up the apartment that she had lived in for years and she would live in a different state that Nikki; those were the two main things. But it made sense to move in with her boyfriend of two years, it was just taking some adjusting.

The Samoan made a face at her. "Brie, you've lived in plenty of homes where there was no snow on Christmas, and that was long before you started dating me."

Brie rolled her eyes. "I know that. I was just hoping I'd settle down somewhere where our kids could build snowmen and go slay riding." She told him with a pout.

Roman chuckled, leaning over to give her a quick kiss on her pouted lips. "Well, our kids can build sand castles and learn to surfboard." He replied, but Brie still didn't seem so pleased. "Hey, babygirl, we can always go visit places where there's snow around Christmas. Trust me, snow is overrated and is actually terrible to live in. Trust me, I lived in Canada for awhile."

Brie nodded, her mood a little better now. "Hmm. I guess you're right. Living conditions would be a bit more dangerous with snow."

"Exactly." Roman agreed, grabbing her arm and gently pulling her towards him. He wrapped his large arms around her small frame and kissed her cheek. "We wouldn't want our kids living in dangerous conditions, now would we?"

Brie rolled her eyes again, but this time there was a large smile spread across her face. "No, we wouldn't want that at all."

She kissed the corner of his mouth gently and pulled back, looking at him with pure love in her eyes. She remembered in the beginning of their relationship how shocked she was with how easy it was for her to fall in love with him. Sure, he was the most attractive man she's ever laid eyes on, but Roman genuinely had such a big heart. He was absolutely loveable, and the fact that they were talking about future children right now had her almost giddy. She couldn't wait to have children—hers and Roman's children.

The corner of Roman's lips twitched before he was full on smiling. He was having similar thoughts. He was thinking of what their future children would be like, and he honestly couldn't wait to have them, too. He already has one daughter, and he's excited to have more little ones to love and cherish.

"You know," Brie interrupted his thoughts, one of her long fingers trailing down his bare chest, "it's pretty cold in here. Maybe we should warm up?"

Oh, Roman liked the sound of that. "Hmm. Yeah, it is cold here. Some warming up would do us both some good."

Brie giggled as Roman flipped them over so her back hit the mattress and he hovered above her, smiling and kissing her neck.

They both knew how very blessed they were to have each other—snow or no snow.

Another little Christmasy one-shot I wrote for someone last year! Though, this one was more about snow than Christmas, but whatevs. Hope you enjoyed, and please let me know what you think!
