"Babe. Babe, wake up."

Nikki's face scrunched up in displeasure as her sleep was disturbed by someone whispering in her ear. She groaned in annoyance once this someone began gently shoving at her shoulder. She waved her hand, trying to rid herself of this nuisance. And for a moment, it seemed to work because it didn't bother her again until—

"Baaaaaabe." The bothersome mystery someone whined and then shook her a little not so gently.

Her eyes shot open and it took a moment for her vision to clear, but soon enough she saw the grinning face of her boyfriend Seth hovering above her. "Oh my god, Seth, what do you want!"

The two toned man pouted at his girlfriend. "Boy do I feel loved right now." She gave him her most deadly glare and he raised his hands in surrender. "Nicole, it's Christmas!" He told her excitedly, resembling what she always claimed to be a hyper active puppy.

Nikki blinked a few times. "Oh god, I'm dating a man-child." She grumbled, her face falling back into her pillows.

"Don't be such a Grinch, Nikki." Seth complained, shoving at her lightly.

"Seth, you woke me up early in the morning on one of our few days off." She said into her pillows, muffling her voice. "Of course I'm the Grinch right now."

"Well, what if I told you I had a surprise for you?"

Her head lifted from the pillows, a delicate eyebrow raised. "What kind of surprise?" Curiosity got the best of her. Just as he knew it would.

Seth smirked, his hand reaching out and brushing some hair from her face. "You're gonna have to come into the living room to find out." He said, taking her hand into his own and gently guiding her out of their bed. Thankfully, she didn't give any complaints.

He led her into the living room and Nikki gasped at the sight. Their entire living room was decorated! Since they were on the road so much, they didn't really have time to decorate their home. But now it looked like a winter wonderland! It seemed like there were hundreds of paper cutout snowflakes hanging from their ceiling. Their previously naked Christmas tree was now completely decorated with colorful ornaments. There was even a golden star on the top. There will little snowman statues in random places in the room. There was even silvery glitter spread across the room. It looked magical.

"Seth," Nikki finally spoke, almost breathlessly, "Seth, how did you do this?"

"I did it last night when you went to bed. I've actually been planning this out for a few weeks now. I know it isn't much, and I promise, I'm gonna clean up the glitt—" Seth's cut off when Nikki's lips are suddenly crushed against his.

It takes him by surprise, but he hardly hesitates to kiss her back. It's a quick kiss—definitely a quick kiss for them. But Seth knows there will be plenty of more kisses for the rest of this day.

"I can't believe you did all of this. This is all just so wonderful, Seth. I feel like I'm in a freaking winter wonderland! You're the best boyfriend ever!" She told him, a wide grin on her face.

"Damn right, I am!" He replied, a bit cockily. "Merry Christmas, Grinch."

"Merry Christmas, Cindy Lou Who."
