2 updates to 2 different stories in 2 days! Well I am being a productive little writer this Labor Day!

I actually meant to take this chapter in a very different direction with a lot more drama and maybe a confrontation with MJ and meeting Aunt May. Don't worry that is still happening but not until a bit later.

Enjoy!

And so the two newlyweds told the tale of how they met up by chance in Vegas and ended up getting married as well as their plans for what they will tell the public.

"Good thing Pym left before you guys came in." Rhodey said when the couple had finished their story. "You have been gone for a while Jan, and Hank has just gotten even worse. He would definitely not react well to this."

"So what are your plans now?" Steve Rogers asked having moved up to the front of the crowd.

"Well first we have to tell my aunt. We decided to have it be Janet and Peter Parker that got married for now. Then after a while me and Jan will work on a new costume and identity for her so she can fight with me in the field." Peter explained earning a nod from the old soldier.

"What about an actual ceremony?" Carol said looking a little down.

Janet shook her head turning to the blonde. "We already talked about this Carol and yes we will eventually have a big ceremony. Though it might not be for a while, you know we have to have time to plan together right? And yes Jessica of course I would like you to be my maid of honor." She finished knowing what her raven haired friend was going to say.

"Well congratulations webhead." Wolverine offered tipping his beer in Peter's direction.

"Veraliy this is most deserving of celebration! Bring forth the finest mead and let us toast our friends on their new union!" Came the booming voice of Thor

"Yeah Spider we are going to have to throw you one hell of a bachelor party." Clint said while scribbling on a notepad.

"Clint you do know that I am already married so if you even think of getting strippers I won't save you from whatever Janet decides to do to punish you." Peter said firmly. This caused Clint to start scratching out many lines that he had written down.

And so the rest of the day was filled with the laughing of friends as they all shared stories with each other about the two newlyweds.

"So Peter you are going to help the Avenger's fashion designer come up with a new costume? You sure you are up for that?" Wanda said sitting next to him. The news that Peter was off the market was disappointing to her as well as many of the other female Avengers. However Janet was always so kind, fun, and energetic that her upbeat personality was infectious, it was impossible not to like her.

Peter took a sip of his drink, a simple coke, as he considered exactly how to reply to his friend. "Well yeah. I mean besides Tony, I have gone through the most costume changes so I do know a thing or two."

"Yeah the Fantastic Bag-man was a particularly bad one." Wanda chuckled

Peter shook his head. "Why does everyone keep bringing that up?"

On the other side of the room Janet was having a conversation with Steve who had taken her aside to have a more private word with her.

"Janet, we have known each other for a long time." he started

"Since day one." Janet nodded. "We were both founding members."

"My point is that I care about you and I am a bit worried about this. Call me old fashion," Janet snorted at this as Steve was the epitome of old fashion. "But marriage is not something to be taken lightly and I am worried that you might be rushing into this."

"Steve you are a good friend really. I get why you would be worried about this but it's not like I got married to some stranger. Peter has been at this longer then I have and has done more for this city and the world then just about any other hero." Janet said defending her decision and her new husband. "He is a good man and after what happened with Hankā€¦" she left what she was about to say hanging. Steve was the only person who knew what happened between her and Hank, that he was more than just a jerk.

They talked and socialized with all their teammates. Everyone smiling and wishing them congratulations. Thankfully no major disturbances happened and as the time ticked by people started leaving.

Eventually the new couple retired to one of the rooms of the mansion falling asleep in each other's arms.

The next morning Janet awoke to a shuffling of papers. As she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes she saw her new husband sitting over a desk in their room looking at a big stack of papers.

As she gets up from the bed she stretches her arms and back. She is dressed in a light tank top and yoga pants. She moves around the bed and walks up behind her husband, wrapping her arms around his bare chest. "Whatcha looking at sweetie?"

Peter was sitting in the chair was wearing a pair of gym shorts as he looked over the papers. He glanced over his shoulder and smiled at Janet who looked beautiful even with bed head. "Just some papers that were in the case with my Vegas winnings. They must be worth a lot but so much of it is in business and legal speak I can't make heads or tails of it." he replied scooting over so she could take a look.

"Aw does my genius hubby need some help?" Janet teased with a smile.

Peter smirked. "Be my guest. My degrees are in Biochemistry and Genetics. This may as well be one of Strange's spell books to me." he said getting up and gesturing for her to take a look.

Janet sat down and picked up a sheet of paper. "Well you were right they are worth something." She looked over the document. "Hm. The title to a 1965 Chevy Camaro."

"Sweet now I have a car that I will never drive." Peter laughed. He never drove anywhere as his web swinging was much faster to get around the city.

"A 20 meter custom built yacht." Janet continued as she read over another document.

"What? What am I going to do with a boat?"

Janet went wide eyed as she lifted another document. "A twenty acre vineyard in Napa Valley."

"Like where the make wine? Geeze."

"A vacation home in Nassau."

"Nassau? Like in the Bahamas?"

"Yes Peter, in the Bahamas. Hm beachfront property too. This is and the vineyard are definitely worth more than the cash to be honest. Probably several times at least."

"Well at least I have a place where I can dock my boat." Pert laughed stunned by all this.

"It is a yacht Peter not a boat." Janet shock her head in mirth. "Actually it is docked here in New York so we could take it on a cruise down to your new beach house. Would make for a nice honeymoon." She smirked as Peter blushed at the statement.

"I just hope you stay with me because of my winning personality not my new money." Peter chuckled. The thought of a proper honeymoon with Janet did sound nice. They actually had not been "intimate" since their first night in Vegas. Instead they just focused on getting to know each other better.

"Sweetie, you do know I have my own fashion empire right? I have my own money." Janet gave him a peck on the cheek, she loved how cute her husband could be when he was flustered.

"Oh yeah right. And the other papers?" Peter asked, smiling at his wife's antics.

"Well you also have a plane now."

"My own plane?" Peter's eyebrows shot up.

"A Bombardier Challenger 300 to be exact. Valued at. . oh wow just under ten million. That is just a bit more than the beach house."

"Holy crap." Peter exclaimed as he fell back onto the bed. "What about taxes on all this stuff don't I have to pay that?" Peter asked knowing how much of a pain taxes can be, especially on prizes like this.

Janet shook her head. "Nope. Apparently you paid all that up front which took a good chunk out of your cash winnings." she said lifting another piece of paper. "And the yacht included a contract with the marina for the next ten years to house and maintain it."

"Jesus, anything else? What about the rest of the papers?"

"Stocks and bonds it seems. Some of them are pretty good. Let's see you've got some stock in Microsoft, Apple and Facebook. Hm a bit in General Electric, Ford, and oh my Stark Industries. That's worth a good about and Stark pays good dividends too."

"I will pretend I know what that means." Peter ran his hands through his hair as he absorbed all of this.

"There is also a few stock here for Hammer Industries and Alchemax, not a lot though and it is not worth a whole bunch. A few healthcare companies, hospitals, and oh my." Janet trailed off as she opened a binder full of stock.

"What? What's in that one?" Peter said as he sat back up on the bed.

"Oscorp."

Peter went wide eyed at that. "Oscorp?" he said still not believing he now owned at least part of his arch nemesis' company.

"Yeah. After Osborn was arrested the value of shares in his company dropped to the floor. They are not really worth a whole lot but well, you have a lot of them." She replied hefting the sizable binder. "Hold up a quick second." She pulled out her phone and did a quick search then skimmed through the binder counting each page. "Peter?" Janet turned to to her husband.

"Yes Janet?" Peter replied a little worried.

"You now own sixty three percent of all the shares of Oscorp. You are now the controlling owner."

Wide eyed and slack jawed there was only one thing Peter could say.

"Holy shit."
