Kuoh academy, formerly an all-girl private school that recently became co-ed. As a result, over 80% of the students and faculty members are female. Unfortunately, a majority of the male students were perverts who only applied to the school in order to perv on the unusually high number of attractive girls in the school or to start their own harem… well, they can dream. However, Kuoh academy has a secret. It is the reason why many of the female students are so attractive as well as the reason why the student achievements are so high in number.

The academy is a hub for supernatural activity, more specifically it acts as a base for the devil faction. You see the true purpose of the academy is to collect extraordinary youths in order to see if they have the potential to join the peerage of a devil king. This is something that only a handful of the academy members and a majority of these beings weren't even human! One of these beings is a buxom, red haired teen that is desired by all named Rias Gremory.

Rias is one of the two high class devil kings that currently reside within the academy grounds. She loved the academy mainly because here she was treated as an individual rather than the sister of lucifer. That's right, she is the sister of Sirzechs Lucifer, formerly Gremory. Centuries before she was even born there was a civil war within the devil faction; the new devils that wished to stop fighting with the angels and fallen angels and the old devils that wished to continue the fight even if it meant the extinction if there species. Thankfully, the new devils won and with their victory, new leaders were needed. The four most powerful and influential devils of the new faction were chosen to take the names and titles from the predecessors and lead them all to a better future, one where the next generation wouldn't have to suffer the way that they and their parents suffered. It is safe to say that they succeeded. The three factions are currently in a state of cold war and it seems that the higher ups in each faction would rather the cold war continue then return to the bloodshed of the past.

Rias is sitting at her desk in her classroom just soaking up the atmosphere. She noticed that her classmates were chattering amongst themselves but surprisingly they weren't talking about her. That may seem vain but as the number one beauty in the school and one of the two great onee-samas she is often the topic of conversation. Just what were they talking about?

As she was pondering about her classmates the door to the and entered her best friend and sister in all but blood Himejima Akeno. Akeno is the second member of the two great onee-samas and the number two beauty in the school, something that Rias constantly rubbed in her face. Akeno is a yamato nadesico with her long black hair tied in a single ponytail with an orange ribbon but she was also a very well endowed girl, even more so than Rias herself. This is something Akeno constantly rubs in her face.

As Akeno was moving towards her desk with her ever smile on her face, Rias noticed her classmates change. They became quiet and began to move awkwardly. Just what was going on. She continued to observe them, and she noticed that they began to get into some kind of formation but why? Rias began to notice that the formation is forcing Akeno to take a lightly longer root to her desk. Her eyes widened. Rias shot up from her desk, she has top move quickly in order to stop what is about to happen. She prayed to Satan that she would make it in-

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HIMEJIMA-SAN!" bellowed her classmates.

Time. She was too late. Both girls froze. Rias couldn't hide the worry on her face as she looked up to Akeno. She hoped that everything was fine, unfortunately you don't get everything you hope for. When she saw her best friends face, she froze once more. Akeno has had many years to perfect her fake smile but this event tested her, and she failed. Rias could tell that she was really forcing the smile but what was most worrying was her eyes. They are glassy and she could see the tears forming in the corner of her eyes. She could see the sorrow and pain in her eyes. Her lips began to twitch as she tried to keep smiling but she was failing.

"T-Thank you everyone." She eventually croaked out, "Unfortunately I'm not feeling well today so please tell sensei that I am going to go to the nurse's office."

Having said everything that she needed too, Akeno quickly exited the classroom slamming the door as she left. The slammed door knocked Rias out of her trance. She rushed past her confused classmates and out the door to find her friend. No outside the classroom she began to look around, she couldn't see her. She closed her eyes and began to expand her senses. Still nothing. Rias couldn't help but curse herself. Akeno was always better at controlling her magic and concealing her presence. Maybe she went to the clubroom, even if she didn't Rias needed to start her search somewhere. Having decided on her next action, Rias was about to move out.

"Rias?"

Recognising the voice, she turned to it. The one that had called out to her is her childhood friend and fellow king Sona Sitri, the student council president, and with her is her queen and vice president Tsubaki Shinra.

"What are you doing," she continued, "class is about to start?"

"I have something more important to take care of!"

Sona glared at Rias while folding her arms. Sona strongly believes in the importance in education and makes sure that every student attends all classes. Rias could see that Sona was about to start lecturing her. She didn't have time for this.

"It's Akeno. They know." She explained while pointing inside the classroom.

Sona quickly glanced in and saw the birthday banner. Her expression softened as she now understood Rias' frantic behaviour.

"We just passed her. Akeno went off in that direction."

"Thank you!"

Rias immediately set off in the direction that Sona indicated. Hopefully, she could catch up to Akeno quickly. Sona released a sigh as she watched her friend head of.

"Kaichou," spoke the confused Tsubaki, "what was that about?"

Sona calmly replied, "Today is Akeno's birthday."

Sona could see Tsubaki's confusion growing so she continued.

"I don't know why but Akeno's birthday has always been a taboo topic. Every year we made sure not to celebrate it."

Tsubaki now understood what was going on. As she and Sona went into the classroom to prepare for first period, she couldn't help but wonder why a day that should be celebrated was instead reviled. The fact that her king didn't know either made her more curious about the whole affair.

Woodland outside the old school building

Akeno needed to get away. As soon as she was able to, she teleported here to the woods. She hated this day. It is a constant reminder that she isn't alone in the world. Normally this would be a good thing but instead for her it was nothing to celebrate. She released a frustrated sigh and removed her ribbon, letting her hair hang loose. She started at the orange ribbon in her hands. Orange, her brothers favourite colour. The person she loved and hated the most in the world. The one that left her.

Her grip of the ribbon intensified until the point that her nails pierced her skin. The blood is dripping from her hand, but she doesn't notice and continues the squeeze tighter and tighter.

Naruto Himejima hurt her in ways that she didn't think possible. He betrayed her! He left her with people that they didn't know! Luckily the Gremory family are known for their kindness and trustworthiness but he still shouldn't have run away.

Akeno began to lose control of her magic, subconsciously summoning her holy lighting, setting the surrounding trees ablaze and scarring the earth.

Why did he leave! Why didn't he take her with him?! They are twins. They have been together since before their first breath. It was meant to be the two of them against the world, always. So, why! WHY!

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" she exclaimed to the sky.

As Akeno's rage continued to rise, the storm of holy lightning grew in power, causing further damage to the surrounding forest. If anyone was there to see it, they would have described the seen as one that they would only see in their nightmares. The storm continued to rage, until suddenly and without warning it ended and all was quiet.

The girl once full of such rage is on her knees, covering her face with her hands. The rage that was once so dominant has faded away and been replaced with another emotion… Sadness. As her tears dripped through her fingers, Akeno couldn't help but give in to fear as she allowed herself to listen to the voice int the back of her head. The one voice that has constantly been saying the same thing over and over ever since her brother left. For 364 days of the year she is able to ignore the voice, drowning it out with other more joyous or immediate thoughts but on this one day, when she is at her most vulnerable, she listens.

'It's your fault he's gone…'

Akeno sunk further into herself. Maybe it is her fault. If only she was stronger, or she didn't mag him so much. It may have been the fact that she relied on him too much after the death of her mother and the clan turning against them? or it may have been something more trivial, like the amount of times that she ratted him out to their mother? Thinking about her mother only made her feel worse. She didn't know what she did, but it must have been something major. To him at least. They were children so just what did she do that made Naruto grow tired with her? Or worse, hate her?

Akeno felt a burning sensation in her leg that brought her back to the real world. She found a smouldering leaf on her bare flesh. She brushed it off and, with the source of her physical pain gone, she saw the destruction she had caused in her grief. She cursed herself. She couldn't believe that she lost control of her magic like she was a child. She needed to get things under control and move on. She can't let one event dominate her entire life.

Akeno took a deep breath and resolved herself to finally figure out a way to move on. Now calm she needed to clean up her mess, quietly. She didn't want Rias to worry even more then she probably already is, and she was not looking forward to the lecture Sona was going to give her for not only missing classes but for damaging part of the school grounds. She laughed to herself quietly as a small smile found its way on to her face. She may have gone through many hardships, but she was happy with her life as it is. However, as quickly as the joy came to her it was gone and in its place was panic.

As Akeno was making her way back out of the woodland and back to the old school building, she noticed an object on the ground, less than a foot from her. It was her orange ribbon but the it has been touched by the flames. The flame was weak but, nevertheless, the ribbon was still a light.

Seeing the only memento of her brother slowly burn away made her blood turn cold. She leapt to the ribbon and quickly brought it into her hand, ignoring the pain from the flames surrounding it. She used her magic to put out the flame but due to her heightened state of emotion she didn't realise how much power she gathered for the task. Instead of a small controlled burst of magic, she released an omnidirectional magic pulse that put out all the surrounding flames.

Now that the ribbon was no longer in danger, Akeno released her breath that she didn't even realise she was holding. She examined the damage and saw that a majority of the ribbon was intact. It was slightly singed and at maximum a quarter of the material was lost.

Akeno clutched the ribbon lose to her chest and did all she could do, cry.

A few hours later

Rias has had no luck finding her queen. She has been looking for her ever since she left the classroom that morning. Luckily, Sona, as the student council president, was able to cover for the two of them. Sona may not know exactly why this day was so infamous, but she still had her back.

Rias had searched everywhere she could think of but still no luck. The sun has already gone down, and she was still no closer to finding her friend. She has pushed her sensing ability to the limit but still nothing! Rias cursed her past laziness. When they were children Akeno always trained harder than she did. Due to her history Akeno chose to specialise in magic that was different than what her father was known for, but she underestimated just how powerful her fallen blood is. Her affinity for holy lighting was too strong. it was so great that conjuring a small amount of lightning was as easy to her as breathing. She had to force herself to use other elements, but she was struggling. The progress was so slow that her and Akeno thought up the idea of simply removing holy element from her lighting, just leaving the thunder. Akeno was not happy about it but she refused to be left behind again and had to keep up with Rias' development. Unfortunately, this was difficult. It was easier than using the other elements, but it still took a great deal of concentration and time to conjure up some thunder. Luckily, Grayfia took the young queen under her wing and she learned control. Years later Akeno control lead to her gaining the moniker of the thunder priestess.

Rias was happy for her friend but the effort that she put in when they were younger meant that Akeno's control of her magic far surpassed hers and that meant that her concealment skills were also above the young kings. Rias never had the problem that Akeno had so she was able to delve into her bloodline ability and as a result needed to put in less effort then Akeno did. So, Rias had to beg the best tracker that was available.

Koneko is a first-year student that is her only rook but before she was reincarnated by the evil piece within her she was a youkai, more specifically a nekoshou. Her in born nekoshou abilities meant that she was able to track other life force which was near impossible to hide. Rias had to beg Koneko to help her since this would require her to momentarily embrace her nekoshou abilities. Koneko, like Akeno, has problems with her heritage and has also chose to reject hers due to her own tragic history.

Rias hated asking this of her, but she wanted to keep the number of people involved with this incident to as little as possible. She could have called her brother and he could have arranged for one of his own team or even Grayfia herself to come and find Akeno but that would have made both her and Akeno feel worse. For her it would be because she hates the idea of having her brother sort out the problems of her peerage. As king she should comfort and support her peerage. For Akeno, she hated people seeing her as vulnerable and broken.

Koneko eventually agreed to help, mainly because her and Akeno have similar stories. The similarities in their pasts meant that the two of them have always been close. They were so close in the past that the young Koneko was pretty much always found with Akeno, much to Rias' jealousy. The only difference between the two is that Koneko chose the easier path and simply chose to hate the one that betrayed and abandoned her. Akeno chose a different path and was torn between loving and hating her brother.

Koneko was able to find Akeno and pointed Rias in the direction of the woodland around the club house. Koneko wanted to come with her but she was able to convince the younger girl to go home and talk to Akeno tomorrow when she would be feeling better.

As Rias was exploring the woodland, she quickly noticed a magic barrier. The barrier itself was barely holding on, so with a simple burst of magic she was able to break through. Once she did, the luscious green of the trees was replaced with the blackened remains of the trees as well as the scarred earth before her. She became even more worried. It has been years since Akeno had reacted this badly and even then, it was never as bad as this. She hoped that her friend was alright. Rias quickened her pace and shortly after found her target. In the centre of the decimated woodland was Akeno curled up on the ground.

Rias approached her and noticed that her breathing was ragged. On closer inspection she could see that area around her eyes were puffy and her cheeks were flushed indicting that Akeno had cried herself to sleep.

"Akeno…" Said Rias calmly while she gently nudged her friend.

"You need to wake up. Let's go back to the club room and rest in a proper bed."

Rias was making progress and Akeno was slowly returning to the land of consciousness but suddenly Akeno's eyes shot open and she leapt backwards. What Rias saw broke her heart. Akeno's eyes were darting around as she was expecting an attack from somewhere, her breathing rate were sharp and rapid. In her shaking hands was her orange ribbon. She was gripping it so tightly, as if her life depended on it.

Rias couldn't help but glare at the piece of cloth. She has lost count of the number of times she wanted the ribbon to be lost permanently, courtesy of her power of destruction, hoping that it would give Akeno closure so she could move on. However, she feared that if the ribbon suddenly vanished one day, it would actually have the opposite effect on Akeno and cause her to break down.

In her confused state Akeno thought that Rias was glaring at her. So, she began to tremble slightly as she sank further into herself. Realising her mistake, Rias stopped glaring and began to slowly make her way towards Akeno, wary of her watchful eye. Rias kneeled down in front of her friend and gently placed a comforting had on her shoulder. Akeno tensed up and got ready to flee.

"Akeno…" Rias said gently.

Hearing her name said so lovingly caused Akeno to calm down and look at her friend. As she saw the love in her friend's eyes, she fully woke up.

"Ri-Rias," she spoke weakly, "I-"

"shhh. It's okay."

Rias brought Akeno into loving embrace. Akeno stopped trembling and allowed herself to give into the feeling of comfort that was being offered to her. She buried herself deeper into her friends' bosom.

"Let's stay at the club house tonight."

Rias wasn't able to see Akeno's face but the movement she felt on her chest told her that Akeno was nodding. Rias teleported them to the spare bedroom in the occult research building. She swiftly guiding Akeno to the bed and lay with her. Rias gently rubbed Akeno's back and whispered sweet words to her until Akeno fell asleep. She smiled gently at her slumbering friend, glad to see that she had calmed down slightly. She moved closer to friend and drifted off the world of nod. Her final thoughts of the day were about Naruto. She hated how much he hurt Akeno and was hoping that if he was alive, he was suffering.

Elsewhere, earlier that same day

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY NARUTO SENSEI!"

Naruto was loving his new life.

It has been just over a year since he returned from the other world, which he has decided to call the world of geass, much to the dismay of a majority of the companions that followed him back to his world. Considering how much they suffered due to the power, they were not happy for him to name their home after it. Naruto, obviously, chose to ignore them.

In order to return, Naruto needed a lightning rod to guide him home. Luckily for him he found one. The world tree, a point that natural energy gathers and accumulates at. That's how Naruto ended up in Mahora.

He was lucky that old man Konoemon was so understanding. Considering his abrupt arrival, it wouldn't have surprised him of they were received with more hostility. Instead the headmaster enrolled them in the school as either teachers or students. Naruto was assigned to the junior class of 3-A as a teacher. Luckily, Naruto had experience teaching in his past life, but it was still strange. A sexually active, attractive, teenage boy in charge of a class a class of teenage girls that were in the middle of puberty. He suspected that the old man had an agenda of sorts. Either way things worked out well for both parties.

Naruto's companions needed to learn about the world they now resided in and what better place than a school. Class 3-A gained a protector and considering everything that has happened over the past year, it was something that they very much needed.

Naruto was approached by one of his students, present in hand.

"Happy birthday!"

Naruto approached her, reaching out to take the gift. When he was centimetres away, he smoothly stepped into her personal space and brought her into his arms.

"EEP! Na-Naruto-sensei!?"

"Thank you, Nodaka-chan.," He leaned into to whisper in her ear.

"I think I know just the way to thank you for this gift." He leaned in and nibbled gently on her ear.

The bright red Nodaka couldn't utter a single world. Her best friend came in just in the nick of time to save her from further embarrassment. Yue separated the two.

"That's enough of that sensei!"

Naruto smirked at her and brought his finger up to rest just below his lip.

"What's this now. Are you jealous Yue-chan? Don't worry…"

Naruto had somehow moved behind the shorter girl.

"…I know the gift is from you as well. Doesn't that mean I have to thank you as well?"

Yue turned bright red and before anything else could happen she dragged quickly moved away, dragging Nodaka with her and ignoring the jealous glares of her classmates.

Naruto chuckled quietly to himself. They were just so adorable… he is going to enjoy corrupting them further. He was stirred from his thoughts by a deep voice from his shoulder.

"Tch, Damn man whore."

"Is someone jealous? Helios I'm surprised!"

Helios' appearance has changed. He is now pure black, and his sealed state looks different. Helios went into a ball and collided with the side of Naruto's head resulting in him stumbling slightly. Helios returned to his shoulder.

"Before I was sealed I had no problem with the ladies. They came by the truck load and not just dragons. Ladies of every race came in order to experience the pleasure that is me."

"…sure they did."

"Hey! I only speak the truth."

"…I believe you."

Helios growled at his partner.

"Did I ever tell you how I sunk Atlantis?"

"I already know the story. It sunk as a result of a battle between you and Tiamat."

"Who said anything about fighting…"

Naruto paused for a moment. The tone of Helios' voice told him that the dragon was being truthful. No, that's impossible. To sink an entire city by doing it, literally. But what if…

"just wait a minut-"

"Naruto-sensei."

Naruto was interrupted by a voice from the doorway. He turned around and was greeted to the sight of his fellow teachers. The Busty and mature Shizuna Miyamoto and Takamichi Takahata. While both were smiling at him, Takamichi's was strained slightly. You see Takamichi had a crush on Shizuna and was going to ask her out, but Naruto got there first. If this was Naruto Uzumaki then he would have stepped aside and probably helped the two get together but this is Naruto Himejima and he has no problem going for what he wants, even if it inconveniences others. While Naruto doesn't agree with cheating, he has no problem going for her since she was single. You snooze, you lose.

"Welcome to the party."

Shizuna's gave an apologetic smile.

"unfortunately, we can't stay. We came to tell you that the headmaster wants to see you in his office."

"Now?" asked Naruto. She nodded to confirm. Naruto sighed before he excused himself from his own party and began the long trek to the headmaster's office.

As Naruto was walking, he began to think about his new life. More specifically his harem. When he was an Uzumaki there was no way he would consider a having a harem, but he could have. Looking back at it now, he missed many opportunities because he had a one-track mind. Multi-tasking is something that he only learned much later on in his previous life. Reminiscing about his past life made him remember his perverted master Jiriaya and how Naruto finally followed his path as a super pervert. Uzumaki lost his virginity to Hinata on their wedding night and the act opened many doors for him. Honestly, the things he and Hinata did should be considered illegal but to this day he doesn't know if Hinata was as sexually repressed as he was or if she just went along with what he wanted to please him. With her personality, any of them could be true.

As a Himejima, his fallen blood meant that his morals are more flexible. If he had a connection with a girl and they both had feelings for each other then he went for it. However, he does feel sorry for his girls. Of course, they don't want to share but after the incident they learned that they had to. In the other world him and C.C constantly teased each other. This continued until they decided to finally sleep with each other, but their competitive natures meant that they wanted to outlast the other. Naruto lost but it was only because she had the damned code! Naruto had been learning to sustain himself for long periods of time with just his magic and at the time he could last for three weeks. So, he spent three weeks fucking nonstop. No sleep, no food, no water. Due to how long she has been alive and the code, C.C knows that she doesn't need food or water to survive and her body doesn't indicate when she needs to eat. She only eats when she wants to and for the taste. So, the code would sustain her indefinitely resulting in Naruto's lose. However, even though he lost, it took C.C a month before she could move properly again and knew that the only reason, she survived is the code and any normal woman would have died. Naruto's fallen enhanced stamina meant that they couldn't handle him alone, so they had to split the workload.

Feeling sorry for them, he gave them two gifts. The first was a clone of himself, but this was different form his past jutsu. His mastery of the shadow clone technique and his magic allowed him to create a new type of clone. This clone is more durable, can live for long periods of time and its conscious is linked directly to the original. This allows him to learn what the clone is learning in real time and it allows him to filter his main conscious into the clones. The girls really appreciated this as it meant they wouldn't have to share all the time.

The second was something he created based on his limited knowledge of the evil piece system of the devil faction. Naruto was able to use his magic to empower his lovers and his most trusted comrades, but he was the source. Naruto had no idea how human magic works and the chakra that he knows is specific to the elemental nations. So, he figured out a way to siphon some of his power into them however this weakened him, but he wanted to give them some extra protection. Every time he increased the number of recipients, it meant that his abilities were becoming more human in level. He stopped when they arrived in Mahora as they could learn magic here.

While it was annoying, there were benefits to becoming weaker. Back in the nations, Naruto's fighting style was to outlast his enemy while taking on everything they had. However, in this life he lacked the enhanced healing factor and near limitless power source. Him becoming weaker meant he had to rely on skill more as well as his intelligence. It was good training.

"Naruto…"

He stopped walking.

"I know Helios. There is no point hiding. I know you are here."

A man in black robes and a gold rabbit mask stepped out of the shadows. Both stood there in silence until the robed man wordlessly handed Naruto a sealed letter. Naruto took the letter and examined it. He recognised the seal. By the time Naruto looked back up, the rabbit was gone.

Naruto was worried. There was only one person that could have sent it. He quickly opened the letter and read its contents. His eyes widened. This couldn't be right. If what this letter is saying is true, then the whole world was about to change.

Himejima compound

Daikaku HImejima lay on his death bed, surrounded by his family. He drowned out their blatant ass kissing and focused on his inner thoughts. He wondered where he went wrong with them. When he was younger the Himejima clan was a mid-level human faction within the Shinto faction but due to his success as the gold king, the family have been elevated to levels that no one expected. The family was in the top five human clans in the supernatural world. He himself is the most respected and feared human on the planet. If he wanted to, he could destroy nations with just a few worlds. This led to his family to grow arrogant, acting as if his success was their own.

He felt a soft hand wrap around his own. He turned and saw his beloved great grandchild, Suzaku. She was trying to put on a brave face, but he could tell that she was holding back her tears. He gave her a weak smile that nearly pushed her over the edge. As her grip on his hand tightened, he couldn't help but admire the girl. He was so proud of her. Daikaku, Not liking what was happening to his clan, decided to pay more attention to the younger members, hoping that under his more direct guidance, they won't turn out like the previous generation. Whenever he looks at Suzaku he sees hope for the future of his clan, but her image also made him remember one of his failures.

Suzaku was the spitting image of his granddaughter Shuri. The success that he achieved as a human meant that the clan wanted to keep their bloodline as human as possible. As a result, Shuri chose to go on a self-imposed exile in order to life with her lover and children in peace. The clan never went after her because they feared retaliation form the fallen angels and the fact that Shuri was a prodigy and many feared her sadistic nature. Over the years Daikaku helped her as he chose to step down from the head of the family. This also meant that he wouldn't solve their problems for them.

After Shuri's death, he did what he could for her children. This included giving Naruto the Murakumo as well as using his servants to secretly guide them to the Gremory territory. He knew that the young princess of the Gremory family was the same age as them and would give the children a home. He has been keeping track of them. He was glad to see that Akeno was thriving as a devil, but he was worried when Naruto disappeared. He knew that he was alright and would reveal himself when he was ready but even he was surprised to see him emerge at Mahora. Daikaku used his influence to keep the knowledge of his great grandson's location hidden in order to protect him from any dangers he may face by either being half fallen or for being a relative of his.

He removed his oxygen mask and addressed all those in the room.

"Leave me." He commanded.

The clan members slowly filtered out of the room. All except one. Suzaku did not want to leave her mentor when he was so close to death. She gripped his hand tighter.

"Oji-Sama, I-"

"Suzaku…"

They locked eyes. She knew she wasn't going to win this argument. Reluctantly she got up and moved towards the door. Once in the doorway she faced him and gave a deep bow. She stayed down longer than necessary. Daikaku could see her tremble slightly. She left and elegantly closed the door.

Daikaku turned to ceiling and addressed the empty room.

"You can come out now."

Out of the shadows came a young man clad in a black and purple outfit and a black mask (spectra phantom from bakugan mechtanium surge). Both waited in silence until the masked man decided to break it.

"Tch, so you really are dying. When I read the letter, I thought that it was some kind of joke."

Daikkau chuckled quietly.

"Unfortunately, it is true. Not all of us are blessed with such long lifespans. Isn't that right Naruto."

"How did you know?"

"hmm, you underestimate just how far my reach extends. I've known where you have been for the last year, but I do confess, before that was a mystery."

Naruto smiled at the dying man. Over the year Naruto has been learning more about the supernatural world and that meant learning about just how powerful his great grandfather was. Naruto was a bit worried about coming but he wanted to learn more about the kind old man that helped him and his sister so long ago.

Naruto removed his mask. He will not disrespect the great man before him by letting a mask come between them.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." Replied Naruto.

"You would be surprised about what I would believe."

So, Naruto sat before him and told him about his journey through the world of geass. When he was done telling his tale, all Daikaku could say was…

"extraordinary. Many suspected that there were other worlds beyond the dimensional gap, but no one was able confirm it. are you certain that you don't know how you got there?"

Naruto nodded his head. Daikaku simply stared into Naruto's eyes and was know even more certain about his decision. He cleared his throat.

"You must be wondering why I called you here."

"it did cross my mind…"

"I name you my successor! Naruto you will be the next gold king."

Naruto did not expect that.

"That's cra-"

Naruto was interrupted by the arguing coming from the room next door. Daikaku stared at the door in disgust.

"Listen to them. Parasites, the lot of them. None of them are worthy to inherit the power of kings. Don't you see, the title of gold king is too important for the world. I can't leave it to fate to select the next king. I must choose a successor and it must be you."

"But why me? This is only the second time we've met?!"

"Third." Naruto was confused at Daikaku's word so the old man continued.

"This is the third time we have met. At was at your birth."

"second, third, who cares! You still haven't answered my question."

"I remember the birth of you and your sister. When I looked into your sister's eyes, I knew that she had inherited her mother's personality. Do you want to know what I saw in your eyes?"

Naruto remained silent.

"Light. I saw a soul that shines brighter then all others, I saw a future more magnificent then anything I could imagine! Even now, I look into your eyes and even though you clad yourself in darkness it does nothing to hide that glorious shine. Your soul of gold continues to shine brighter than ever before!"

Naruto didn't know how to respond to that. A soul of gold? That's not him. Naruto is trash that is too scared to reunite with his sister, not this saint that Daikaku was making him out to be.

"That's why," continued Daikaku, "it must be you!"

Daikaku paused in order to catch his breath but before he could continue, he heard the boy speak.

"Why… Why must this me my burden!? All I want is to have a life as normal as possible! I want to have regular problems! Not this! I don't want it! this task… this duty. I-I don't… I can't. Please don't make me."

Daikaku eyes softened. He knew that what he was asking is not something that a child should be burdened with, but he knew that if the world was to survive the coming threats, then Naruto was needed. He tried to raise himself up in order to comfort him. He failed. He tried again and once more failed. Naruto noticed the sound coming from the bed and looked up. He saw his great grandfather continue to try to get up and continuously fail. He saw the effort he was putting in. Naruto quickly went over to help him. He used his magic to sooth any pain the old man felt.

"Naruto," He started weakly, "I know I'm asking much, too much in fact, but rumours have been spreading through the supernatural world. If even half are true, then only dread awaits us in the future. The world will be covered in darkness. We need a light in dark and I believe that light is you. Please Naruto be the torch bearer."

Daikaku raised his hand to Naruto.

"be the trailblazer I know you were always meant to be. Show us a new path, one filled with hope."

Naruto stared at the hand extended towards him. He could say no. He could return to Mahora and live the rest of his life with his loved ones. However, could he live with the consequences if his selfish choice? No, he couldn't. Naruto reached out and took Daikaku's hand in to his.

As soon as they clasped hands, Naruto found himself floating in space. He was surrounded by darkness and was alone. Until he felt a presence behind. He turned and saw Daikaku in all his glory. He was clad in garments fit for an emperor and behind him was a shining star.

The star began to morph, taking on the shape of a giant sword of gold. The sword began to shrink, until it was the size of a dagger, floating between the palms of the gold king. Daikaku thrust his arms forward and the knife flew forward at high speeds and pierced Naruto's chest.

Next thing Naruto knew, he was back in the room clutching his chest. He felt different. More powerful. So, this is the power of kings?

Daikaku collapsed on to the bead. His breathing becoming weaker.

"Th-the timeless palace… *wheeze* is yours…"

Naruto stood by his side. They both knew that he didn't have much time left.

"I have a one more thing to ask you. I know this old man has already asked you to do much but please listen to this request. My friend, the silver king, please help him."

"Weismann?" asked Naruto.

"He… goes by Isana… Yashiro… please…help…"

…The gold king, Daikaku Himejima has passed on.

Naruto stared down into his hands. Looks like he needed to be the child of prophecy once more. He clenched his fists. So be it. If this was to be his fate, then he will accept it but this time he won't forsake his own happiness. Naruto could feel the other Himejima clan members approaching the door. They must have been monitoring the old man's life force with magic. Looks like it was time for him to go. He has a promise to keep.

Mihashira Tower

Isana Yashiro was in a pinch. In order to protect the Dresden slate, he formed an alliance with HOMRA, the red clan, and Scepter 4, the blue clan. However, even with three kings working together, they were being pushed back by the green king, Hisui Nagare.

Nagare's raw power surpassed all the other kings. The only one that could compete with him in raw power was the deceased Himejima Daikaku. Luckily for them, Nagare's power is also his weakness. Due to an accident in the past, his heart was destroyed but miraculously at the same time this happened he awakened as the green king and the power of kings was able to act as his heart. This led to a greater power than any other king, but it has drastic consequences. The power of kings acts as his heart, so if he uses his powers for prolonged periods of time he will die.

Knowledge of his weakness made them believe that all they had to do is survive long enough for him to reach his limit. However, they underestimated just how powerful he is. At this rate, Shiro doubted that they would be able to survive long enough.

Reisi, the blue king, charged at Nagare. Sword drawn, ready to strike him down but the green king was too fast. In a flash of green, he was behind Reisi, striking him down. Reisi was able to deflect most of the damage but his sword was broken.

Nagare was standing above Reisi, ready to end his life but he had to cancel his plans in order to dodge a fireball courtesy of the thirteen-year-old red king Anna Kushina.

"I apologize, red king. You must have felt left out. Well, I can fix that."

Nagare charged at Anna, faster than his fellow kings could see. Next thing Anna knew she was flung forward, feeling a deep pain in her back. She righted herself and immediately turned and fired an attack but there was nothing hit. Nagare continued a hit and run strategy forcing Anna on the defensive. The assault continued until Nagare appeared before her. Unfortunately, she could stop what happened next. Nagare struck Anna with a double hammer fist. The strike sent Anna flying to the ground.

Anna was struggling to get up, but she was failing. Nagare's attacks left her clothes tattered and her body covered in bruises. She heard a crackling noise. She looked up and saw Nagare, gathering a large amount of green electricity in his hands. She grit her teeth as she glared at him. She wished she could wipe that arrogant smirk off his face.

"Looks like it's game over for you, Red king."

Nagare fired. The green bolt struck Anna's location, kicking up much smoke and dust. The remaining kings didn't move. The smoke cleared and all that was left was a hole in the ground. Nagare's smile grew.

"ANNA!" cried Shiro.

"Well, well," spoke Nagare, bringing the attention back to himself. He tilted his head and brought his hand to his chin.

"Does this mean I levelled up?" he questioned the silver and blue kings, mockingly.

Shiro felt such rage. All of this was his fault. He discovered the slates and instead of protecting them himself, he thrust the responsibilities on to someone else while he abandoned the earth. Now, this was his plan and once again he has failed and this time it resulted in the death of a thirteen-year-old girl. Someone who had so much life left to live.

"Modern games aren't normally that simple." Said an unknown voice.

This took all three kings by surprise. They didn't expect anyone would be reckless enough to get involved with their fight. They searched and then they found him. A masked man clad in black. When they saw what was in his arms, they felt either anger or relief. In his arms was the injured but still conscious red king.

Naruto, after gaining a basic understanding of the gold aura, arrived in the city a few days ago. Using his shinobi sills, he learned of the alliances plan. He decided it would be better to observe them further. Introducing a wild card like them could either help or hinder their plan. So, he would watch and only interfere if he was needed.

Naruto began walking to the blue and silver king. The blue king, Reisi, was using what remained if his sword to keep him upright. Shiro was worried. He was glad that Anna was saved but he didn't know if this mystery man is an enemy or an ally. He hoped it was the latter.

Naruto stood before the two and presented Anna to them. Shiro, hesitantly, took her into his arms. Anna stared at her saviour. She tried to say something, but it was hard to get the words out. Naruto, seeing her struggle gently pat her head. He smiled down at her. The gentle smile calmed Anna. It was as if everything was going to be okay.

"who are you?" questioned Nagare

Naruto turned to face the king and walked towards him in silence. He stopped a few feet away from him.

"Me?" questioned Naruto. "I'm no one important. Just a phantom, passing through."

(AN: from this point onwards, Naruto will be called Phantom when he is masked)

"Why are you here. This game is invite only!"

Phantom smirked and Nagare, infuriating him in the process. He reached behind and drew his sword, the Kusanagi. Over the years Phantom realised that the murakumo was too easily recognised. So, he had two choices, not to use the blade or disguise it somehow. Over the years, as he bonded with the weapon, he discovered how to change the blade by sealing it. This greatly limits the power of the blade, but it was worth it in his opinion. This new form was given the Murakumo's other name, Kusanagi. He did not know if there was a true Kusanagi somewhere in the world, but the blade was identical the one sasuke used in his youth so, he couldn't resist.

Nagare fired a green lightning bolt at the intruder, expecting to end him but something else happened. Phantom quickly summoned a Chidori and split the bolt.

On the outside Phantom was smirking but on the inside was something else.

'I can't believe that actually worked!' he thought. In his previous life, he heard tales of how Kakashi used the technique to split lighting, but he never actually saw him do it. So, he thought that it was just talk. That move he did just now was a gamble, but no one had to know that.

"That was rude." Phantom pointed his blade and Nagare. "well then, shall we begin?"

Nagare chuckled. "I wonder how strong this mini boss is."

Both remained still, sizing the other up until, as if an invisible starting signal was heard, both charged at each other. The two attacked each other at close combat, trading blows until Nagare grew bored of this.

Nagare slipped through his defences and continued forward. He but some distance between the two and leaped into the air. The phantom tried to turn and chase the king but found that his feet were stuck in place. Before Nagare left the ground, he sent an electric through the ground, polarising it. the end result being Phantom was magnetised to the floor. Nagare landed on the wall and used it as a springboard. Like a rocket he shot forward and blinding speeds. His fist was cocked, ready to end the minor nuisance. He lashed out, expecting for there to be flesh on flesh contact. Instead, he punched a hole in the ground.

Crouched on the roof, as if it were the ground, was Phantom but his appearance was different. His black hair was white, and his body was covered by an electricity. This was his magia erebea: agilitas fulminis.

"Strain?" questioned Nagare. "No, you are something else. A mage?"

"So what if I am?"

Nagare's smile grew wider. "This is a first for me. I apologise for my rudeness earlier. Now then, game start!"

Once again, the two charged at each other. They danced through the sky as streaks of green and white.

On the ground Shiro could barely keep track of them. To him it looked like the two ere evenly matched but Reisi saw otherwise. His years of training meant that he could keep up with the mystery man and the green king and he could tell that the masked man was on the defensive. He could only hope that he lives long enough for Nagare's stamina to run out.

Back in the fight, Naruto is worried. As the fight continued, Naruto began to realise that Nagara is like Naruto Uzumaki. You see, Naruto Uzumaki lacked style and finesse. He knew a small number of techniques and they were relatively simple, but he had something that even the odds. His raw power and durability. Uzumaki's physical abilities and power surpassed nearly everyone in the elemental nations. In a fight he simply pushed through his enemy attacks and continued inwards until he finally came out on top. Nagare is the same. His power and physical abilities greatly surpassed the Himejima. The only reason he was still alive at this point was his battle instincts that have been honed over two lifetimes.

Nagare kicked Naruto's side but he was able to use his sword to block the hit. Naruto grit his teeth; He may have blocked the attack, but the weight of the attack was putting a lot of strain on his body. Naruto slashed Nagare so the green king brought up his arm to block the attack, but nothing came. Naruto dropped the blade mid swing then he grabbed the blade with his free hand, changing the angle of attack. Nagare was able to react in time, so he only suffered a shallow cut along his chest but Naruto, using the momentum from his previous attack, continued to spin and hid Nagare with a roundhouse kick.

Nagare was sent flying across the room. Naruto accelerated and continued his assault with an axe kick, send the green king spiralling to the ground. The collision with the ground resulted in a smokescreen.

Naruto gently floated down to the round but just before his feet touched down, like a bullet from a gun, Nagare shot out of the smoke, arm charged with green electricity. He hit Naruto and continued on his path, dragging Naruto with him until they crashed into the wall.

Naruto's back is on the wall, a small crater was created from the impact. Luckily, he was able to bring up his sword in time to block a majority of the attack, but he could definitely tell that a few ribs were broken. Nagare brought up his free hand, intent on piercing Naruto's head, however, the former blonde was able to catch the attack with one of his hands.

Nagare's strength was greater than his, so he was slowly losing. Nagare's hand was slowly making its way closer to Naruto's head.

Naruto kneed him in the stomach, causing Nagare to stumble. Naruto was able to grab the back of Nagare's head and slam him face first into the wall.

Naruto quickly leaped away and while airborne launched a horizontal energy slash at Nagare. Nagare placed his hands and feet on the wall and backflipped realising a vertical energy slash from his overhead kick. The two energy slashes collided and cancelled each other out, realising a large amount of wind in the process.

The wind knocked Naruto off balance, and he landed on the ground, hard. He quickly rolled into a more stable position before he stood up and took a defensive stance. He was not sure how much longer he could last, then he saw it. A single bead of sweat dripping off Nagare's forehead. The green king was approaching his limit.

Naruto changed his stance into an offensive one. This would most likely be there last attacks. The green and secret gold king charged at each other. Naruto threw his blade at Nagare. The green king brought up his arm and deflected the sword and that is when Naruto struck. Since they continued to move towards each other, by the time Nagare deflected the blade, the two of them were only a few feet apart.

Taking advantage of the fraction of a second that Nagare was distracted, Naruto used shundo to get into Nagare's personal space. Naruto shoulder barged Nagare and with his free hand a familiar spiralling ball of energy formed. He brought the rasengan up to Nagare's chest and struck. The green king went flying.

Nagare was lying on the ground, too exhausted to move. He found the Kusanagi inches away from his face and the masked man standing above him, breathing heavily. Both had reverted back to their base form.

"Looks like I win." Stated Naruto

Nagare smiled. "Looks like it." Then he asked, "What was that last attack?"

Naruto was silent, debating whether or not to tell the downed foe.

"… eight trigrams Rasengan."

The eight trigrams rasengan was a technique created by Boruto Uzumaki. Boruto was taught by several teachers and these included his father, his mother, Hinata Uzumaki, and his Aunt, Hanabi Hyuga. Over time he was able to fuse the basic rasengan and the air palm technique. Naruto noticed that the fusion of these techniques produced a similar result to his first rasengan against Kabuto. When Naruto Uzumaki used the rasengan on Kabuto, it generated a slightly different result due to the fact that the attack was so unstable. The technique that Boruto created was a stable form of Naruto's unstable rasengan and was therefore more powerful.

"Thank you for your assistance, lightning blade." Naruto tilted his head slightly towards the new voice.

Reisi was limping over followed by Shiro, carrying Anna.

"But I am curious," continued Reisi. "Why are you here?"

"Are you after the slates?" Questioned Shiro

Naruto smirked at the three. "I'm just here to keep a promise. I never break my word."

This confused Shiro. Who asked him to come and help? To be honest, he could only think of one person but before he could confirm his suspicions fog began to enter the room.

Nagare began to laugh which put them all on high alert.

"I was never the trump card," started Nagare as the fog grew in density. "He is."

Out of the stepped a middle age, scruffy man dressed as a priest. Reisi grit his teeth. He knew who this man was.

"So, your alive, Seigo Otori!"

Anna, Shiro and Naruto did not know who he is so Reisi continued.

"14 years ago, the grey king was battling a former red king, Genji Kagutsu in order to prevent his Damocles down, but they failed. 700,000 lives were lost, and it was believed that the grey king and his clan, cathedral were among the casualties. The event is now known as the Kagutsu Crater Incident."

"Seigo Otori did die that day. Please, call me Iwa-san."

Iwa summoned a large amount of fog, completely blinding the others. They were not even able to see each other. Naruto expanded his senses, but he still couldn't feel anyone's presence. It was like fighting Zabuza all over again.

"Be careful!" shouted Reisi. "The grey king's aura is known as the ultimate defence."

They heard a bang and the next thing Naruto knew his arm was bleeding. He was shot. More gunshots were heard but this time he was ready. He quickly jumped away. Naruto had to do something about this fog quickly.

Naruto fired a small rasenshuriken from his finger, like a gun. The orb expanded to the size of a basketball and sucked up all the fog. Now that they could see, they saw Iwa with carrying Nagare over his shoulder.

Iwa began to fire at them in quick succession. The three injured kings could only take cover. Naruto weaved through the bullets until he was within range of the grey king. Iwa was forced to drop Nagare in order to dodge Naruto's blade.

"I'm curious, why do you want the slates?" Questioned Reisi

"The slates have been playing all of us for fools." Answered Iwa-san. "The only one that can end the cycle is Nagare."

"but that would lead to chaos." Stated Reisi, "If the green king's plans succeed, it will lead to the deaths of many!"

"But they can protect themselves!" Countered Reisi. "if all humans have the power of the slates then they could defend themselves." They could here the anger and self-loathing in his voice. "Something like the crater incident wouldn't have happened and let's not forget about the devils!"

"Devils… the evil pieces?" Said Naruto quietly but Iwa heard him.

"so, you know of them. What they do to us humans is despicable. People need to be able to protect themselves!"

Naruto, tired of the talking, charged at Iwa. The older man fired at him, but Naruto vanished. Iwa felt a presence beneath him but it was too late. Naruto charged his weapon with magic and launched a rising slash to end it. However, what he thought was Iwa was actually a fog clone. Next thing they knew the four were surrounded by explosions.

1 hour later

They failed. Nagare was able to steal the slate. Shiro looked around and saw his injured allies. This was his plan and he failed them and even worse he may have failed the world once again. He was the one that discovered the slates. Whatever happens next is in him.

His clansmen Neko and Kuroh were trying to comfort him. There was no way of knowing than another king would be working alongside JUNGLE.

Shiro spotted the masked man, standing away from the others. He approached. Kuroh was on guard, ready to draw his sword while Neko glared suspiciously at the unknown man.

"Thank you for the help. But I have to ask, did the lieutenant ask you to help us?"

Naruto smirked at them. He reached out his hands. Neko moved in front of Shiro and Kuroh put his hands on his weapons handle. Next thing they knew, Neko was back in her cat form, in the masked man's arms purring contently as he scratched her between the ears. Shiro and Kuroh have no idea how this happened.

"Who knows." Said Naruto.

He handed Neko back to Shiro and turned to leave. As he was walking away Shiro asked.

"What's your name? I doubt you want me to call you the lightning blade"

Naruto stopped.

"You might learn it in the future."

Naruto continued to walk away.

HOMRA bar

Izumo Kusanagi was exhausted. He returned to the bar with Anna and a few other clansmen that planned to stay the night.

When he turned on the lights, he heard a noise that he was awfully familiar with. The sound of ice in a glass. Him and those with him turned to the source of the noise. Anna's eyes widened. Sitting before them was the mystery man, making himself comfortable.

"I hope you don't mind that I've poured myself a drink." Said the smiling mystery man.

Train station

A young woman has just arrived. She had long blonde hair and green eyes. She possessed this aura of innocence that just made you want to protect her.

She wheeled her suitcase along and stopped to look up at the night sky this Christmas night.

She clasped her hands together and prayed.
