AN: Ok so this was my first fanfic which meant there were a lot of grammar mistakes and ideas weren't thought out properly or executed well enough so I hope this chapter is now ok after I have edited and changed some bits. I apologise that some chapters will now not make sense until I have edited them- which will be done soon. Please review and let me know what you think.

Summary: A book a golden light and a bunch of lethal demigods what could go wrong? Join the gods and demigods as they relive and learn about Percy's adventures in the form of the PJO series of books.

Chapter 1: Going back to the past and the golden light.

Percy could count on one hand the number of days they'd all had like this. Where the sun beat down on them and they got the chance to relax for once, no quests, no angry gods and no angry girlfriend. Well, two out of 3 wasn't bad.

''Percy I swear to gods do not make me come over there'' Annabeth squealed, moving her book for the tenth time out of the spray of water.

His answering grin was pure rebellion and Annabeth resisted the urge to groan ''why don't you come and stop me then wise girl'' another wave of water crashed over her and this time her book was right in the firing line, much to the other's amusement.

Thalia laughed, water dripping from her hair and Annabeth glared at her best friend ''you're supposed to be on my side.''

''Not when it comes to you being fun'' the former hunter replied with a grin, only to squeal when her feet were pulled out from under her and she got submerged.

A blonde head popped up from the water, followed by Thalia who spluttered at her brother ''Jason'' she coughed out; tackling him back into the water with relish and Annabeth decided she'd lost Thalia as a potential ally.

Everybody else was in the water by now, Annabeth the only one left on the shore under the guise of reading when all that had really happened was her complete inability to ignore Percy in only his shorts. Which, she suspected, was the reason he'd targeted her when she stared for a little too long.

It had been a hard year for all of them, between trying to attend school, run the camps and defend the world from whatever threat got thrown at them they hadn't all had time to just be carefree like this. Even just last week Jason was injured during a quest that should have been easy, it was supposed to be a low threat monster that was eating local animals but turned out to be something they'd never encountered before. They barely got out with their lives.

So all of them needed this, hades, even Nico was splashing in the water and lamenting the fact his boyfriend was still working in the infirmary. In fact, Will, Juniper, Calypso, Frank, Hazel and Rachel were the only ones not here.

''Percy'' she huffed, keeping a close eye on the Stolls who crept closer and closer to the shore with a bucket of something she wasn't sure she wanted to know what ''you're just trying to bait me into showing my swimsuit.''

The look on his face was devilish and he waggled his eyebrows at her ''is it working?'' and was it just her or did his voice just drop two octaves.

Instead of answering she dropped her sopping wet book on the floor, she couldn't even remember what it was supposed to be about, and began to lift her camp shirt- all too aware of Percy's dark eyes following her every move- only for a golden light to envelope all of them.

They landed hard, the polished marble floor not at all cushioned in any way.

Unsurprisingly the first ones up were Percy, Annabeth, Thalia and Jason, reaching helplessly for weapons not at their side- Percy the only one with his sword.

Zeus glared at them, lightning gathering in his eyes as he took in each and every one of them. From Chris and Clarisse on one side to the oil stained and messy headed Leo on the other.

Thunder boomed outside the throne room and the demigods jumped, confusion marring their faces ''who are you all to interrupt such a meeting of importance?'' Zeus thundered, not taking notice of Poseidon or Hades who were both staring at their children with varying degrees of disbelief and shock.

''Wait'' Piper said, fingering her feather braid ''you don't know who we are?''

''Should we?'' Hera sniped, taking them all in with disgust.

Grover opened his mouth to tell them that yes, yes they should definitely know exactly who they were when a note floated down from the ceiling.

Dear Gods and Demigods,

Hermes and I have decided (with the help of Hestia) to send the demigods back in time to read their future events- you cannot leave this time whilst reading and time isn't passing normally in the future so it will be like you guys never left. We hope hearing about these adventures will help you all to understand one another more and maybe heal the wounds left open.

Demigods must introduce their parentage and who they're dating. No titles- we want them to be surprised.

Percy shouldn't have been surprised, not really, even on his off days the world threw him curveballs. Case in point.

Jason wasn't sure what the feeling in his stomach was, a mixture of anger and sickness accompanied by a headache that pounded against his skull like a sword against a shield. Whatever these 'episodes' were they seemed to be getting worse as the week went on. Mostly around Percy actually, as if whatever was happening was fuelled by his presence.

Oblivious to Jason's conundrum the demigods began to introduce themselves.

''Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena and girlfriend of Percy Jackson'' Athena smiled at her daughter, comparing the 7 year old she saw only a few months ago to the woman in front of her now.

Clarisse was next ''Clarisse la rue, daughter of Ares and girlfriend of Chris Rodriguez''.

Then Katie ''Katie Gardner, daughter of Demeter and girlfriend of Travis Stoll'' Demeter smiled warmly at her daughter.

Next was piper ''Piper McLean, daughter of Aphrodite and girlfriend of Jason grace'' the smile Aphrodite bestowed on her daughter was blinding.

Chris then spoke ''Chris Rodriguez, son of Hermes and boyfriend of Clarisse la rue.''

Then it was the Stoll's turn ''Conner and Travis Stoll sons of Hermes'' they said together, then as an afterthought Travis added 'and I'm the boyfriend of Katie Gardner.''

Then Leo spoke up 'Leo Valdez, son of Hephaestus and boyfriend of Calypso'' to say Zeus was both confused and angered was an understatement.

Next Jason spoke 'Jason grace, son of Jupiter and boyfriend of piper McLean' Jason said, rubbing his temple and trying to ignore the heavy almost lethargic feel of his limbs.

Thalia hesitated only briefly before introducing herself ''Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus.''

Poseidon and Hades both exchanged looks, wondering how Zeus could sit there high and mighty and break the rule himself whilst still judging their transgressions.

Zeus stared at his daughter in awe ''you were a tree'' he said softly, cataloguing every change in her face, every shift of her fingers.

''It will be explained in the books'' she replied, giving him a small smile.

Nico took a deep breath before he started ''Nico di Angelo, son of Hades and boyfriend of Will Solace.''

Hades couldn't seem to take his eyes off his son- he was so grown up but the only thing missing was his daughter. It took only one look from Nico to confirm his worst fears and Hades closed his eyes against the pain, missing the restraining hand Poseidon had wrapped around their brother.

Last was Percy who in true Percy fashion barely hesitated ''Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon and boyfriend of Annabeth Chase.''

They expected it, of course they did, Zeus was a well-known hot-headed drama queen- they expected fighting, shouts and maybe a bit of the blame game. What they didn't really expect was Zeus to stand in all his hypocritical glory and point his lightning bolt straight at Nico with deadly accuracy.

And that was when all Hades broke loose…
