Author's Note: It's been many months since I finish watching Fairy Tail and I can't help but write a one shot. The plot is not really original since I've read several stories with this plot but I want to try it here. This is my first one shot for Fairy Tail but I hope you will like it.

Natsu keep tossing around his new bed or more like their bed since he is sharing it with Happy. At first they we're pretty ecstatic about their new bed after Lucy offered to use their payment in buying them a bed. Lucy was also happy knowing that from now on she will have her bed all for herself. Just a few moments ago Natsu didn't mind the thought of having their own bed but now he is not so satisfied. There was no problem with the bed and to be honest it's soft and cosy like Lucy's bed. He just can't find a comfortable position and something seems to be missing.

"Aughh!" Natsu sat up and awoken his exceed friend. "Sorry to wake you up Happy. I can't sleep."

"Aye," Happy just rubbed his eye sleepily. "Something wrong?"

"Yeah, it's just that something is…missing," the last word came out as a whisper as he finally figured it out. "Go back to sleep Happy. I'll be out in a minute."

The blue cat didn't need to be told twice. After Happy finally feel back to sleep, Natsu got off the bed. Silently getting out the house he threaded the usual path he took to town. Upon reaching the town he continued to walk down the path he is very familiar with. Guided by the moonlight he walked the familiar street to a specific house. Looking up, he noted that the lights are off in the windows. Knowing his target is asleep he climbed the wall towards the open window to get inside. Sure enough his target is asleep and remains unfazed by the soft sounds he made.

"Better hurry up before she wakes up," he whispered to himself.

With great caution he wrapped her with her blanket to protect her from the cold. She groaned after the sudden warm when he carried her in his arms. He jump by the window with ease and proceeded to retrace his steps back to his house. Pushing the door of his house he walked towards the bed where Happy is still sleeping. Then he gently put her down on the bed and unwrap her from her blanket. He stared at her sleeping face for a moment making sure she won't wake up any time soon. Sure enough that she won't he slip under the covers joining her. After making himself comfortable he pulled her closer and rubbed his nose on her hair.

"This is better," he murmured as his eyes grew heavy as he felt the other sleeping form moved closer to his warm. "Much better."

The thought of waking up with Lucy's scream tomorrow didn't stop him from falling asleep. He will deal with it later but now he is comfortable enough to sleep.
