AUTHOR'S NOTE: Heeeeeyyyyy everybody! ANGEL here and back at it with a new update! Can you believe that TPOMT is now THREE YEARS OLD? Three years old y'all, how exciting! I know that I've been absolute shite at updating in general but I'm planning on writing much more now since I'm going to officially start a novel! I'm super excited and hopefully I get in the habit of writing more. Time for some good news: ALL the chapters have been re-edited! There's much more substance and I tried my best to make sure the story made more sense. To clear up any confusion: Aki is 3 months old since Tanabata is in July and July to October is 3 months apart. The reason why he already knows strong magic and is developing much quicker than a normal baby will be revealed much later in the story! I hope that cleared up any confusion! Also do read the previous chapters, some may still look the same but I promise you, there's more stuff added. The only thing that didn't change is the author's notes at the beginning and end of the chapters so they're still kind of cringy and weeb-like (I've changed from that thank god). Anyway enough of my rambling, it's time for y'all to read! No review replies for this chapter either but I'll probably pick that up again next chapter. Disclaimer!

Chapter Siete

'Damnit Ammy! You made him too strong!'

The deity huffed and blew her bangs away from her face annoyed, replaying the event over and over. Of course her mother would immediately go after the child once she sensed the immense power coming from him. The older deity would do anything to fully break herself from the Underworld and declare war, even use a child if she had to. Amaterasu huffed once again and left her All-Seeing Lacrima to collect her thoughts. Draping herself on a lounge, Amaterasu let her thoughts wander. If it wasn't for the child, the boy would've died. No ordinary healing magic could heal wounds from darkness magic, especially if it came from a god; in fact it would of made everything worse. Izanami was still stupidly strong despite having limited time on earth and it would take a whole army to try and leave a scratch on her. The deity shuddered thinking about another war breaking out because of her mother and forced herself to think about the problem at hand. She couldn't outright protect the child and his parent without exposing herself and cause herself to be vulnerable to any attack her mother must be planning with that dark guild she managed to persuade on aiding her. Letting out a defeated sigh, the deity accepted the fact that in this case she couldn't win.

"You may have thought you did something mother but rest assured, your days of tyranny will be over…"

"Gray, what the hell are you doing?"

The ice mage gave Natsu a deadpanned look while he held onto Aki who was busy patting a twisted and very dead tree with his chubby hands. It's been a few days ever since the run with the unknown dark guild who tricked the Team Natsu into saving a fake town, a few days ever since Aki healed Gray's nearly fatal wounds. The memory was still fresh on the guild members' minds, a three month old performing such powerful magic at a tender age like that was a monumental moment. Mira decided that the guild should celebrate the event by having a picnic in the meadows she and Aki found while strolling through the woods one day. Every member made sure not to miss it with the exception of Master Makarov, who decided to go to the Magic Council to discuss of the appearance of the unknown dark guild with other guild masters. Gray and the team were a little skeptical to travel in the woods since the last time didn't go so well but Mira managed to get them all to agree on joining the event. Natsu was starting to get on the ice mage's nerves however, the fire Dragonslayer making himself the honorary (and unnecessary) security guard over Gray and Aki. The black haired teen was so close to snapping at him when he ran into Natsu's back for the umpteenth time only to sigh in relief when Mira announced that the group had made it to the clearing. Soon enough, large blankets were laid on the ground and the food was all set for everyone to dig in.

Yet Gray couldn't eat.

He watched as his baby drank from his bottle without any help, try to catch butterflies that came his way and play with the dolls Sabrina had given him. He just couldn't believe that a child so young can perform magic and a strong spell at that too. Hell, it took him a few years for him to completely learn a simple spell when he was a child! Thinking about the event led him to this moment, currently holding up Aki to a dead tree he managed to spot and making the baby pat his hands on the bark to trigger the same healing spell he used on Gray. Natsu, having noticed that neither Gray or Aki were in the spot he left them before going to the spread of food to eat, abandoned his plate to see if they were both okay, only to stumble on the scene.

"Aren't you going to answer my question?"

The ice mage rolled his eyes and dusted off any stray pieces of bark that was on the baby's hands before presenting him to the tree again.

"I'm doing an experiment Flame Brain, can't you tell? I'm trying to encourage Aki to perform that spell again. I want to see it with my own two eyes that he is capable of casting magic."

"We all saw it, don't you believe us?"

Gray let out another sigh, this time loud and dramatic, and turned to face Natsu so he could give him a piece of his mind. However, that never happened since Aki let out a little squeal and a green light engulfed the tree. The tree untwisted itself, gaining a healthy brown color and its leaves back. The magic then changed to a light blue which made the tree grow, and grow, and grow until it towered over the other trees in the forest and casted a shade over the meadow.

"What the fuck?! Gray what did you do?!"

The ice user gave Natsu a wide eyed look, his words caught in his throat. Aki frowned when he saw the dizzied look on his mama's face and let out a tiny whimper.

"Mama..no…"

Gray felt his body start to fall only to be caught in Natsu's strong arms, the Dragonslayer walking him back to the picnic blanket. The guild swarmed the newly grown tree, amazed at Aki once more for casting another strong spell.

"It was...dead. The tree was dead! And...and he just healed it and made it grow….." Gray started to stammer, still in Natsu's arms. He picked up the child and faced him at eye level, staring into those black and blue eyes in awe and admiration.

"You are no ordinary baby. You're like….a super baby! You are unreal Mr. Aki Fullbuster. You hear me? Unreal!"

The baby said nothing but giggled and flapped his arms happily, holding out his hands like he usually does when he wants a squeeze. Gray granted his baby his wish, giving him a sloppy kiss on the cheek. The picnic after the hype died down went well after that, Gray not moving from his spot in Natsu's arms. The ice user was too busy napping with his child in his arms to see the raised eyebrows or hear the whispering amongst the members.

Nor did he scold Natsu when the Dragonslayer carried him bridal style back to the guild when he was too stubborn to wake up after Mira announced that the picnic was over.

Gray finally woke up when a familiar chubby hand started to pat (well more like slap) his face along with a bunch of babble.

"Okay, okay! I'm up! Damn Aki, your hand hurts…."

The ice mage yawned loudly while rubbing his cheek and slowly opened his eyes, yelling in terror when Sabrina's grinning face was in front of his own.

"Oh come one, I'm not that scary looking am I? Good thing you're awake now, Sleeping Beauty, I have some good news for you~"

Gray quickly popped up when he heard those words, forgetting that Aki was on his chest and almost let the baby tumble off him if it wasn't for his quick reflexes. The baby gave him a perturbed look, black haired teen planting kisses on his face in apology. Sabrina giggled and waved a folder labeled "TEST RESULTS" in red marker, handing it to Gray once Aki had forgiven him for his mistake. Gray felt himself tremble slightly, looking at the nurse with an anxious look.

"Hey, I told you if you are sure about this and you said yes, now take that leap and see what makes this child's genetic makeup. Go on and open the folder!"

The ice mage felt himself get even more nervous as the guild surrounded him, everyone interested in the test results as well. Handling Aki to the nurse, he opened the folder and scanned the results. Gray's throat constricted and his face slowly turned red as he read the results over and over again.

"So what does it say?" Lucy piped up after a few moments of hushed silence. Gray just kept quiet and the guild went silent once more.

Tired of waiting, Mira peeked over the counter and scanned the results herself, her eyes bugging out to what she saw.

"You AND Natsu are Aki's father?!"

Said Dragonslayer nearly choked on his drink, shoving some of his guildmates to get to Gray and ripped the paper out of Gray's hand. The pink haired teen's eyes bugged out when he saw that what Mira said was indeed true and he was the father of Aki as well.

"But I thought you said you never got pregnant!" Cana remarked after she swiped the test results from out of Natsu's hand.

"We didn't? Or at least I didn't! I've never had sex with Gray!"

"Natsu, the results said you and Gray are the fathers of Aki and there is a spell were same gender couples to have children." Pantherlily settled on Cana's shoulder and peered at the results. "Are you sure that you didn't knock up Gray or vice versa and conceived Aki? Are you positive neither of you got pregnant?"

"I'm pretty sure I'm still a virgin and 100 percent positive that Gray and I never had sex!"

The guild erupted into chaos as the results were passed around all the members so everyone could see it with their own eyes. Sabrina giggled as Natsu had to defend himself towards everyone who were in disbelief that the two didn't have sex. Aki waved a hand in her face and pointed to the still frozen Gray. The nurse snapped in front of his face to see if she could get his attention yet that didn't work. Sabrina tapped Mira on her shoulder and smiled when the barista turned her attention towards her.

"Hey Mira, was it? Can you give me a glass of water real quick?"

"Yeah of course!" The older Strauss jumped across the counter and filled up a beer mug with water, sliding it towards the nurse. "There you go!"

Picking up the mug, the nurse promptly threw the water in Gray's face. The guild suddenly went quiet as the ice mage spit out some water and finally blinked.

"This has to be some kind of mistake, are you sure these results are accurate?"

Sabrina gave him a look of mock hurt. "Of course they are! I would never fake documents like this. That is 100 percent accurate, you and Natsu are Aki's fathers. How? I'm not sure….unless there's something you're not telling us hm?"

Gray stood up quickly at that, giving the nurse an incredulous look.

"Me, with Natsu? Are you crazy?! I would never EVER be with...that!"

Hurt flashed on Natsu's face quickly before morphing into anger, the Dragonslayer putting his hands on his hips.

"What's wrong with me? I'll let you know that dragons are the pros at romance!"

"A 'pro at romance' my ass! Your brain is so full of ashes, I'm surprised you even know what romance is!"

Gray felt a pang on pain spike in his heart when he said that but he was too deep into the argument to stop now. The Dragonslayer opened his mouth to retaliate only to stop when Aki let out a wail. The ice user quickly turned to his child, trying to console him to no avail.

"Hey, hey, hey please don't cry. It's alright baby, shhh."

Sabrina winced as the baby just continued to cry louder. "You should apologize to each other and hug it out! Maybe he'll stop crying!"

"Yeah and do it quick or you both won't like me." Erza supplied while plugging her ears.

The two mages quickly apologized to each other and hugged, Aki stopping his crying and sniffled. The baby held out his hands for Gray to pick him up, which the ice mage did after ge and Natsu separated.

"You two better get along you know! Or he'll just cry from all the negative energy! Hey, since you two are confirmed parents, why don't you live together hm?"

Gray gave the nurse an incredulous look while Natsu perked up, the nurse giggling at their totally different expressions.

"That's a good idea!"

"Absolutely the fuck not!"
