The sound of the water running and angelic singing was becoming all too normal and familiar for Ash. Not that he hated it, (That would be a HUGE lie) but it was something that kinda.. scared him. Staring at the bathroom occupied by Leaf who was probably living in her own world right now, Ash felt various of emotions surging through him as his gaze finally settled on the bed that they share.
Now sharing a room with Leaf was nothing out of the ordinary, oh no! Being childhood friends and whatnot often leads to countless sleepovers. So sharing a room with Leaf was not a huge problem as it seemed to be. I mean Ash did it before, countless times prior to their relationship as proven during their journeys. So why did he felt so bothered by it? Heck they sleep together in the same bed too during sleepovers, prior to their relationship again! Hugging each other closely and nuzzling! Lots and lots of nuzzling! Physical contact, stuff that teenagers are interested! To add on to the layer of cake, this was BEFORE their relationship of girlfriend/boyfriend. It didn't bothered him then that he shares a bed with Leaf, so why should it matter now?
Well to simply put it, Ash is worried.
He is worried on how fast they are progressing.
At the young age of 10, he and Leaf were doing as I said, stuff that only teenagers would be doing. He was pretty sure that no other 10 year old kid in this world who (miraculously) has a girlfriend sleeps with her or give each other french kisses every morning. Oh no, Ash was all but certain that both of them had matured in more ways then one. He never thought of them as "girls has cooties!"(whatever the hell it means), "girls are girly!" or "boys are better!".
No, those thoughts never seemed to click with him then, and it certainly didn't now.
Ash respects women a lot, I mean being surrounded by beautiful and strong women in life does do somethings to a young child. Frankly, it was the reason why he and Leaf got so close in the first place. He was sweet, loving, energetic and positive as a child should be yet the people who are close to him can sense an air of... maturity around him. It was also the reason why he was able to attain his trainer license as such a young age, I mean sending a 10 year old into the vast world of the unknown? Who the heck thought it was great idea? But nevertheless it happened and Ash along with many other kids are the proofs of that. Though such maturity at a young age does uh, "change" your view of things and your thinking. In Ash's case, Leaf is becoming more attractive as the days go by. He wasn't sure if love was behind the reason for it, but somehow Leaf is becoming more beautiful and captivating as time went on. If it's even possible! Ash was smitten by Leaf in every way. How she talks, laughs, giggles, praise and how cute pouting that only HE had the privilege to witness in all it's adorableness glory. She was his angel, his (human) best friend, his significant other, playmate and childhood friend.
So with that said, he didn't want their relationship to move on so quickly. It was just too risky, he LOVE the idea of getting "closer" to Leaf but knew that they were way too young and way too inexperience in that field. Heck normal 10 year olds don't even think about that! They just started dating not long ago, sleeping together is as close as they can get for their level of age and intimacy and he wasn't complaining.
'Maybe I should tell Leaf about it, and ask her if she feels the same.' Overthinking things was something Ash isn't known for, but his relationship with Leaf was well worth his few minutes of contemplating. Rubbing pikachu's back softly to distract himself, his cute energetic mouse companion rolled over the bed as he nuzzled vulpix's snout, prompting giggles from both parties. He would have hugged the duo and shower them with head pats if it wasn't for the sound of Leaf's shower stopping. He expected Leaf to appear out of the shower with her hair covered by the towel bearing a refreshed and bubbly smile on her face but...
"Ashy can you get my towel?" Damn it, so much for "advancing too fast" huh.
"Y-You didn't take it with you?" Now Ash wasn't sure if Leaf didn't take her towel on purpose so she could tease the hell out of him or she really did forget to bring to the bathroom. Either way her request only reinforce on the thought he had just now, them moving too fast on their relationship.
'Oh come on Ash you are being dramatic, she's just asking you to bring her a towel, it's not like she asking you to- you know!.' Flustered by her request, Ash looked around until his eyes were set onto Leaf's towel that was draped over a chair. How did Leaf forget to bring a towel that big? That towel could practically wrap two people together! Shaking off the image of who those two people wrapping in that towel should be, he scowled at his wild imagination and stood up to reach the towel. The smug looks from his pokemon faces didn't help either, especially from gengar who gave him a thumbs up with that damn grin on his face.
"Well if I did take it I won't be asking you to get it for me right?" Leaf always have something to say to makes you smack yourself in the face for feeling so stupid. She could be sassy at times but most of the time she is all cheerful and adorable, which is perfectly fine with Ash. Then again if he had to describe Leaf it would had to be-
Sugar and spice, and everything nice.
"R-Right." Why is he stuttering? It's just fetching a towel for your girlfriend! It's not like they were indulging themselves in to the "finer" things in life. Get a grip man, if he was "normal" Ash he would have make a dirty joke about it to Leaf and the two would laugh their asses off but now he's so... passive. Which was very unlike him, still with his feet on the carpet, Ash quickly took the towel and stood right in front of the bathroom door. Not realizing the small red hue on his face, Ash knocked on the bathroom door as Leaf open the door just slight.
"U-Uh here." Averting his gaze from Leaf, Ash found the ground to be very interesting and charming. He ignored Leaf's giggling as he felt her hand lingering on his for a few seconds after taking her towel, the wet and warm hand that lingered on Ash's hand caused him to shiver from her touch. With a "thanks!" and the sound of the door closed shut, Ash gave out a tired sigh and rubbed his arm with a small smile on his face. He did like it when she teases him sometimes, sometimes. Wanting to calm himself, his eyes were fixated on the tea set prepared for them by the pokemon center. Some tea right now does sound nice.
"Would you look at that, from a boy to a man! Truly makes me happy to see our trainer grow up so fast." Charmeleon's tone was of genuine happiness, it did pleased him to see such a smooth sailing between the two lovable trainers. I mean in one minute you see these two hugging each other, and then the next minute you see them sleeping together. He wasn't concern about the pace of their relationship, he like many of the pokemon thought their pace was progressing naturally.
"Yeah but it's about damn time don't you think? I mean fate is just begging these two to be together, close childhood friends, approval from their mothers and no third wheel in this chemical romance!" Gengar eyed Ash as he calmly pour tea into the tea cups, his serene and relaxed expression really makes you think that Ash really likes tea. Ivysaur chuckled and smile lightly when he heard his trainer's humming, Leaf's voice does tend to remind him of an angel.
"You know I think we should head back to our pokeballs now, it's getting late and I'm sure the two love pidgeys would want some alone time." Poliwhirl tapped his pokeball as he said those lines, he was drained and wanted nothing but to sleep.
"Yeah the toad is right, let's get some rest guys. Besides it would be awkward if these two are to get passionate." Gengar gave the "look" to the other pokemon who scowled at his perverted ways. They were glad that Ash wasn't facing Gengar's direction otherwise his face would just go full on red.
"For crying out loud gengar they are only 10! Now go back to your pokeball." Pidgeotto chided the Kanto ghost type pokemon who returned to his pokeball immediately upon seeing the firm glare from pidgeotto's face. She's a gentle and kind soul but you do not want to incur her wrath!
"Huh?" Hearing the sound of the pokeballs being activated, Ash turned around and saw no one but the two eevees, pikachu and vulpix laying on the bed.
'Guess they decided to rest, it is getting quite late.' Shrugging at his pokemon's decision to return to their pokeballs, Ash took the tray of tea and placed it on the table next to the bed. The room itself was spacious and offered the basic amenities you will find in a hotel room. He sat on the edge of the bed as the two eevee curled next to each other, so gosh darn cute!
"Alright I'm done!" In a sing-song voice, Leaf appeared from the bathroom with her hair damp that made her look even cuter. She dried her hair with the towel as she sat on the edge of the bed, the faint smell of tea was doing wonders to make her feel more relaxed.
"Tea?" Ash handed Lead her cup as she gladly took from Ash and took sip from it, it was nice as the warm tea combined with the rather cold night made her feel all cozy and snugly. Leaning her body towards Ash, she smiled softly when she felt Ash's hand on her's as he gently rubbed them.
"Nice night huh." Giving him a nod as a reply, Ash give Leaf a peck on the cheek as he (hesitantly) stood up to change his nightwear. It wasn't long as he didn't want to keep Leaf waiting and wanted nothing more than to spend some time with her. (or cuddle with her in this case)
"So what's on your mind?" Leaf placed her mug down and poked Ash's ribs, he flinched lightly as he rubbed his neck. Right she could read him like a book, his actions earlier probably gave away.
"Nothing much, just pondering about our relationship." Raising an eyebrow, Leaf leaned her back onto the pillow and stroke vulpix.
"About what?" Speaking more quietly, Leaf didn't like the tone of Ash's voice, It sounded like he was regretting or was having second thoughts about them being together.
"Well I'm not having second thoughts if that's what you are thinking." To prove his point he kissed Leaf's forehead tenderly as he cupped her face and rubbed it affectionately with his thumb.
"Then what is it?" She whispered softly as she nuzzled into Ash's neck, she love it when Ash showers her with love and affection. It was a sign of how far they got together in life.
"You know me Leaf, I'm always the worrywart. I'm just kinda scared that you and I- you know, are moving too fast? I mean we are only 10 and we share a bed and kiss and stuff. Not that I don't like them! No! I mean, we just started dating not long ago and I just think we should slow it down a little. I want to know that do you feel the same?" Considering how nervous and worried Ash looked, Leaf knew that he gave a lot of thought about it. She smiled lightly and patted Ash's arm as she sighed.
"Honestly I really don't know, I'm fine with how far we got with each other. You seemed happy too so I don't see much of a problem about us. Look I know you are scared and you don't want to hurt me and those stuff that makes me fell in love with you, but I think we are moving along just fine. If I'm uncomfortable with it, I will let you know Ash. For now I think we should just do what we always do, it's not like we are advancing too far! Sleeping together is fine, there's nothing wrong with it. So don't worry too much okay?" Ash nodded as he gave out a sigh of relief, he was glad that he got Leaf's opinion about it.
"So... is that why you didn't look at me when you handed me my towel?" The mischievous glint behind her innocent blue eyes, really made Leaf dangerous.
"W-Well of course! I mean- need I say further?" Interestingly, when Ash get flustered or nervous his way of speaking tends to change.
"You're making a big of a deal out of it Ash." Pikachu who was eyeing the duo sighed when he realized the two are going to have a banter over this.
"It is a big of a deal! And something tells me that you did it on purpose."
"Of course not! As much as I love you Ash, I have no desire of you seeing me nud-"
"Alright! Alright! I get it sheesh, you don't have say it out loud.
"Aww my Ashy is so embarrassed, why? It's just us, besides it's not like you haven't seen me-"
"That was an accident! I didn't mean it! You should keep the bathroom lock at all times no matter what! Common sense right!?"
"Well I'm showering in my home where I don't have to worry about PEEPING TOMS, so of course I felt save enough to shower and leave it unlock. I guess I was wrong-"
"Oh come on Leaf it was an accident! I did't mean it, plus I have to go the bathroom! Besides! You were the one who invited me to your place to have a sleepover!"
"Yeah but doesn't give you an excuse to barge into my bathroom like it's your house."
"Leaf I said it was an accident-"
Pikachu had enough of the two and clap his sparkling paws together creating a loud thundering clap, catching the couple's attention and effectively stopping their "lover's squabbles". With a deadpan expression, he pointed towards the digital alarm clock that read 11:39 PM. Wayyy past their curfew.
"Ah sorry pikachu, I guess we should sleep huh." Pikachu nodded tiredky and soon laid down next to vulpix with a content sigh. Ash and Leaf stared at each other and smiled as they leaned their heads next to each other.
"You're still a pervert." Ash rolled his eyes and sigh, no point arguing with her.
"Fine I'm a pervert, you happy?" He whispered towards her so that he wake the pokemon up, she giggled and nodded triumphantly.
"Very." Gazing towards each other lovingly, Ash's hand went to off the nightstand that illuminated the room faintly. With the veil of darkness covering them, Ash kissed Leaf good night as they wrapped their arms around each other.
"You know I love you right?"
"Yeah I know."
"Do you know how much I love you-"
"Just shut up and sleep Ash." With a grin, Ash stole a kiss from Leaf again as he didn't fail to see the smile on her face.
"So what happened last night? You two looked... worn out." Brock's smirk was getting annoying Ash knew exactly what his perverted friend is thinking.
"We just stayed up late that's all, we didn't do anything!" Ash emphasis on "anything" was very apparent, Brock's smirk settled into a smile as he took out the Kanto map that he carried with him.
"Well I'm just glad you two could wake up, now our next destination would be-"
"Saffron city gym." Brock and Ash blinked their eyes as they stared at Leaf who was hugging cubone in her arms. She looked serious and something tells Ash that this is not going to end well.
"Erm may I ask why?" Brock was surprised by Leaf's answer, they freed Sabrina from herself and got badge. What's the point of revisiting? A rematch?
"We have to give her our phone number, Ash you do remember that right?" Oh that, it was before their dinner that Leaf suggested to give Sabrina their respective phone number.
'Oh right... crap.' How could he forget that? The memories of last night came flooding back to him, the emotional talk with Sabrina, her fears and struggles, her loneliness, her giving him a hug and most of all her longing voice that wanted him to stay with her. It was guilt tripping Ash in all sorts of ways and hell he was sure that he almost gave in due to sheer amount of emotions flooding within him.
"Oh if that's the case then we should head to Sabrina now, I'm sure the gym is open right Ash?" Brock stared at Ash who smiled at him nervously, now that fooled Brock but it didn't fooled Leaf. Something was up and she could see it behind his facade.
'Hmm Ash doesn't hide things from me unless it hurts me in some way or form, I'm sure he doesn't hate Sabrina or it is the other way around. If anything Sabrina was a bit too happy when she thanked Ash for saving her...' She observed Ash's as she noticed pikachu too wore a worried expression and she wasn't sure what to make of it.
"Alright then, let's go!" Brock lead the group towards the Saffron city gym while listening to his newly bought headphones, it gave Leaf the window to question Ash.
"Ash is there something wrong with visiting Sabrina?" Ash was freaking out internally, why does she have to know something is up!? I mean it's not exactly bad, Ash already made the decision to tell Leaf about Sabrina's "intense" feelings towards him but I guess her questioning him first does make it less awkward and saved him from breaking the ice.
"H-Huh? Of course not... it's just well." Ash closed the distance between Leaf and him so that Brock won't hear them, though he was certain he couldn't since he was listening to whatever rock song he was listening to.
"I should have told you earlier but last night when I took a stroll, I met Sabrina and we had a talk. She was expressing her sadness to me, she cried and gosh she just feels lonely. It breaks my heart to see her cry and I kinda give her a hug, I didn't mean anything by it Leaf! I-" Ash felt Leaf's finger on his lips, she gave an understanding smile and ushered him to relax.
"I'm not mad Ash, and I guess I understand why you didn't want to tell me. I don't mind you giving a hug to someone who needs it, even if it was a hot girl who has feelings for you." Leaf said that last part with a chuckle though Ash wasn't sure if he should be glad or he should be concerned.
"What happened next?"
"She invited me to stay at her place for a while but I declined and that's when I went back to the center. I don't know Leaf I mean I know I should tell you right away but I didn't know how you would react." Ash couldn't get a good read on his girlfriend that he love all so much, did she genuinely understand him and forgave him or was he a dead man?
"Well now you know, look Ash we are still going to hand our numbers to Sabrina. Her having feelings for you doesn't change that fact. She needs a friend support especially from her "saviour", I'm sure it means the world to her having you talking to her and comforting her. Believe me I know how it feels." Leaf rubbed Ash's hands when she said that last part more quietly.
"Okay Leaf, I just want to give you a heads-up that's all. I just don't want you to be surprise when she cries or gives me a hug..." Ash trailed off as he eyes became more emotional and his face turned serious, immediately it worried Leaf as she knew that look when she sees it. It was the emotional part of Ash, that darn caring and sweet part of Ash that captured her heart. Leaf wasn't too shocked by the revelation of the psychic having feelings for Ash, however sudden it may be. She didn't blame her for liking such a lovable person like Ash, but it irked her as his girlfriend that Ash cared so much for a girl. She knew she shouldn't and it was stupid to think that Ash would cheat on her but secretly she just couldn't help it.
"Ash... I think you should give her a hug you know? I mean maybe I would get a little jealous but I don't really mind if you give her a friendly hug, I'm sure it would make her very happy." Friendly hugs? Happy? Ash wasn't sure if Leaf gave much consideration to it but considering her past experience dealing with girls that had feelings for him, he utterly and completely trust Leaf.
I mean it just giving Sabrina a phone number and a hug or two, what's the worse that could happen?
'Why the hell did I ask that question!' Ash was mortified at what he saw, his darling angel Leaf was having in a seriously pissed off mood internally as she stared at an equally pissed off Sabrina who stared back at Leaf with a deadly smile. All the alarm bells in Ash was off, abort being highlighted. To recap what just happened, the co arrived at the gym with high and positive spirits. Ash who trust Leaf not going yandere mode decided to blissfully greet Sabrina with hearty hug. Surprised by such action from Ash, Sabrina giggled and nuzzled into Ash neck who Ash's delightfully smiled.
And this where everything turned south.
'Okay Ash is giving Sabrina a hug, that's fine Leaf, that's fine. I prefer him to do it after he gave her his phone number but this is fine, this is- wait is she nuzzling his neck!? The hell? I m-mean, nope it's fine Leaf, nothing wrong here. She is just excited to see Ash and- why is her arms around Ashy's? She's practically leaning her chest onto his arms!' Leaf's rage steadily increased as Sabrina got more physical and affectionate towards Ash as the time went on, she was fine with hugs and all but this level of affection is just NO.
Meanwhile Ash is blissfully and densely unaware of Leaf's current mood, you would have thought months of being her boyfriend and years of being her childhood friend taught him how to read her mood properly but he was a bit occupied trying to make Sabrina happy. It was then he felt pikachu tapping his shoulders as the poor electric mouse anxiously pointed towards Leaf who looked visibly upset. Which was all the more heartbreaking to Ash.
'Crap... I'm an idiot!' Cursing as his own stupidity and trusting Leaf's words 100%, Ash subtlety broke off Sabrina's arms and cleared his throat. This it is it, time to lay down the line!
"Umm Sabrina, the reason we are here today is to give you our phone number. We will be leaving the city soon." Sabrina's frown and forced smile was all the painful to look at, at the same time he was very aware of Leaf's rapidly deteriorating mood.
"Oh... is it okay that you stay a little longer?" The tone of her voice and the sincerity of it really made Ash feel like an asshole, but he has his priority's straight and knew that he has to be a man and make his decision.
"No I'm sorry we can't." Leaf heard the forceful voice by Ash and his serious expression, his eyes met her's and he immediately walk towards her and grasped her hand.
'Can't believe I'm going to do this but...' Desperate times calls for desperate measures, no matter how much of a asshole he may seem to be.
"My girlfriend Leaf would like to give you her phone number too, right Leaf?" The huge emphasis on the word girlfriend made Leaf smile internally, Ash was laying down the line for Sabrina so that she won't cross it. At one hand she is delighted to have her boyfriend understanding her mood without telling, on another well... She stared at Sabrina who stared back at her with equal amounts of "emotions".
And so we are back to our current predicament, if you're wondering where the hell is Brock is, he is helping Sabrina's father with his gym battle with Brock being the referee. Leaving the three on their own... unfortunately.
"Right! Here's my phone number Sabrina, do call if you need to talk. I'm sure we have a lot to talk about." Vulpix jumped onto Ash's shoulders as she feared the worst for her trainer, she could be very scary at times.
"Oh of course." Was him or was it hard to breath? Seriously Ash is very concerned right now, these two looked like they are going to explode and it's all because of him. Adding on the guilt of a weight onto him.
"So Sabrina I guess this is goodbye." Sabrina looked at Ash and lowered her gaze, she knew better than to steal Ash away from Leaf. Just by looking at them she could tell these two shared a deep and genuine love for each other. She gave out a sigh and nodded.
"I guess it is, thanks Ash for everything... I really appreciate it." Leaf was surprised by Sabrina's defeated tone, she felt guilty that she was the reason for it but she has no means to share Ash to anybody! Still that doesn't mean she didn't feel bad for her...
"It's fine, come here." Ash gave her a short but genuine hug as he patted her back, he flashed a smile at her and stared at Leaf who kept quiet. The two girls stood a good distance from each other before giving each other hugs, it was almost simultaneously something which shocked the hell out of Ash.
'Please don't fight! Please don't fight! Please don't fight!' Ash's mind were chanting those words like a magic spell, he was relief when the two parted hugs and gave each other a smile. Ash wasn't sure if he was seeing things, but the smiles looked genuine... genuine enough to fool him anyway.
"Goodbye Sabrina, call us if you want to talk." Sabrina waved a goodbye towards the duo as Leaf hastily dragged Ash's hand towards the exit of the gym. Is that it? Is it finally over? Is Leaf back to her usual bubbly and sweet self-
"Move faster Ash." Her voice was different, so different.
'Okay she is still pissed, fantastic.' Sure maybe things didn't go swimmingly and Leaf is angry but he was sure that Leaf would forgive him... he really hope so.
"L-Leaf? Are you mad at me?" The guilt-ridden tone caused Leaf to stop dragging Ash, Ash's downcast eyes was painful to look at. She bit her lower lip upon seeing his pitiful state.
"No of course not, I'm just mad that I didn't plan ahead and I acted so pathetic... I know you won't cheat on me and you wanted to cheer Sabrina up with the way you know best but I just feel so jealous. I don't have any reason to be yet I acted so stupid and selfish. I'm really sorry Ash." Leaf's voice was cracking, sure she was jealous and was angry at Ash to some degree but did she have any reason to be? Was she that insecure of losing Ash to someone else? Ash trust her a whole lot but where is her faith in him? She knew she was the jealous type and Arceus forbid if Ash likes another girl when they were younger. She would have pulled all sorts of stunts to make Ash her's, at times she really wondered if Ash really know the real her. The desperate and possessive side of her.
"Hey come on Leaf you're not pathetic. Look it's my alright? Unfortunately for you, your boyfriend is a dense idiot who doesn't know how to read his girlfriend's emotions right and I'm sorry for that. I should have pay more attention to you and your feelings. I shouldn't expect that everything would have went THAT smoothly." Ash kissed Leaf's hand and brought to his chest, the very thing he hates is scenario like these. It was also the reason why he hated all those teenage dramas his mother always watched, borderline cringy in some cases. He just hope stuff like these won't happen again, seeing Leaf upset was also something he utterly despise.
"I guess it's both of our faults, I'm sorry for that in the gym. I know it's not your intention to make me upset but I-"
"Shh, it's fine. Let's just forget about this and continue our journey okay? It's just us now, just us." Kissing her passionately on the lips, Leaf felt Ash's undying love for her as they parted lips. They would have continued showing each other how much they love each other if it weren't for something Ash said.
"And Brock, don't forget about him." Her soft whisper was followed by a giggle, can't forget their friend who they refer to as an older brother.
"Yeah where is he?" As on cue, the aspiring breeder came running from the gym with a smile on his face.
"Ash! Leaf!" He smiled in amusement when he saw Ash hugging Leaf tightly and Leaf clinging onto Ash's chest, good lord these two are inseparable!
"Can't get your hands off each other eh?" Seeing the two blushing made it all the more amusing and cute. Still he would be lying if he said these two weren't made for each other, anyone who tells him otherwise are morons.
"So how did the farewell with Sabrina go?" Ash and Leaf looked towards each other and gave a half-hearted smiled.
"It was okay." Keeping Brock in the dark wasn't something they do often but they decided something trivial as that is nothing worth mentioning.
"Ah I see, it's not easy saying goodbye." Brock remember fondly of his siblings who looked up to him, saying goodbye to them was the hardest thing he ever done.
"Anyway let's get a move on, we have to get to Cinnabar Island soon. I heard there is a port in Vermilion that offers boat transport to the Island, so off we go to Vermilion." The upbeat and energetic tone in Brock's voice was something common as of late, maybe it due to Ash and Leaf's influence? Whatever it is, it sure did fired up the couple. (excuse me for the pun)
"Well let's get moving then!" With that the trio started to run towards Vermilion city, looking forward towards the path that lies ahead.
Hello! Greetings! Welcome and good day to you, so I have not update this story for... holy crap almost 2 years!? Darn I guess I kinda fell out of the radar huh. Well that aside I have FINALLY made a new chapter for this story and I will be honest when making this chapter, I wanted to explore Ash and Leaf's relationship in a more deeper level. Fleshing out their insecurities and their flaws while trying to improve their character as a whole. (they are quite one sided)
I realized that after years of writing that when I first started writing the story, it was cringey and bland. Even now when I write these chapters I find it, lacking for the better words. To those who read my fanfics long enough you all should know I am prone to two things.
1) Not providing updates for a long damn time. (No excuse right there)
2) Or rewriting, revamping, redoing and recreating past chapters.
In this case, I will rewrite chapter 1 to 18. Now don't freak out, the meat and the core of the story is still there. I would just add in some flavour and some colours to the story and make Ash and Leaf more interesting. Especially Leaf since I realized I just slapped the "childhood friend" stereotype right there and leave it at that. No, she deserve better than that and I will try my best to explore it. I know some of you don't want rewrites since but I want to do it so it serves as a smooth reading experience to newcomers and people who generally like to reread my stories. So I will try to be fair and focus on both rewriting and updating the story though I make NO promises when I will deliver.
Anyhow, I'm Kaelstider and I'm signing out. Be firm on what you believe in and always be in charge of your own destiny.
